So there is a new slang going around for unconfirmed transactions...it is Dorians Cheesy

Examples: he sent me a Satoshi but it is  Cheesy or I see the incoming transaction but it is still Dorian Cheesy

also a slang for fake reports, my Co-worker newsweeked me Cheesy
huh?Dorian??
What is the origin of that idiom?

Dorian Satoshi nakomoto, the Newsweek report about the man who supposed to be the real Satoshi Cheesy

oh ya, right, makes sense
9146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 20, 2014, 07:18:25 PM

The polls here are completely useless (like most discussions, see: +1, +2, +3, ...).
I would like to see serious polls with answers that make sense.

Er, sorry for the ignorance, but why would one use Bitpay if one owns no bitcoins?
I'd imagine he's referring to the actual businesses that use Bitpay to accept BTC. They don't need to ever touch BTC.
I  see.  Well, but if those stored don't touch bitcoins, they cannot be counted as bitcoin users, can they?

By that criterion, every store would be a "bitcoin user", because every store accepts money that was obtained by selling BTC.

they accept bitcoin as a money transmission service. they don't quite accept it as a currency, yet!

baby steps  Wink
9158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 20, 2014, 01:45:11 PM
price is really grinding down...

is this the re-entry point i've been waiting for?

pretty much, i'm hoping for the grind to turn into panic and then i'll capitalize

time to place some bear trap bids.

Cool
9159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 20, 2014, 01:42:07 PM
Ask Tony Gallippi if his 30000 customers all have wallets. My bet would be the majority don't.
Er, sorry for the ignorance, but why would one use Bitpay if one owns no bitcoins?

it would be gr8 if businesses held bitcoins but thats not really practical for now.

but to me as a bitcoin user doesn't really make much difference, the fact that i can spend my bitcoin  on pretty much anything  easily is good stuff.

all 100 billion (45 billion held by creators, because why not??? ) XRP was created as an anti-spam measure

The purpose of transaction fees is to protect against network flooding.
each Ripple account is required to have a small reserve of 20 XRP
required reserve of 20 XRP alone will allow a user to perform approximately 54 transactions a day for the next 100 years.

ripple's XRP is the most misunderstood alt that ever was.

XRP is used also to bridge the network and exchange any currency without having trust line set between two wallet.

see thats the part thats not true.

XRP cannot be converted into anything other a BTC or maybe? some USD

so i don't understand why they say that.

well actually you can exchange against btc, usd, cny, ltc and other alts through several different gateway.. how this statement is not true ?

By the way the autobridge feature is actually behind implemented and it makes that really useful..

Could you STFU about (C)ripple already?

Open a shitty opening thread, put in : ALL HAIL CRIPPLE. And continue your bullshit there. As you can see this topic is called: BITCOIN price movement tracking & discussion.

You are pretty much getting on my nerve by trying to be a complete SMARTASS about an alt that you adore so much. Adore that shit where it belongs, which is not here.

ok ok back on topic..

are the digital bits that make up a bitcoin shinny? are they a golden color ?
