9161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitPico throwing down against Roger Ver on: July 25, 2018, 06:07:21 AM
about a month has passed from this, so can someone give us a summary of what exactly happened. i honestly missed it and the media seems to only have talked about the initial intention to spam attack and then talk about nodes and how centralized they are based on Bitpico tweet about their nodes being banned!!! but i can't find what happened to the blocks.
like for example what was this 6MB block that took nodes 40+GB RAM to verify?

It would appear the attack failed, the reason given (as you mentioned) was their 800 nodes were banned from the network, which can be seen as an act of centralization. Blocks don't seem to be of any size out of the ordinary, at an average of 70-80 kb (pretty miniscule). Still, the network remains in tact.

Regardless, this coin is a joke led by mass deception, and after what Roger did with bitcoin.com it should be evident to anybody capable of critical thought that he's something of a greed-driven, egotistical madman.

even they are legendary? is possible they[legendary] given to some his friend newbie and so the comminity trust it?

Dude... just... wow.

Ok then. Let's keep going with this, shall we?

I heard Theymos' account _was_ given to some Newbie who is an ICO scammer from South Bosnia. They're neighbors actually.

Theymos sold it for 1,100 dogecoins and a pack of Marlboro Reds because he was out of smokes and was really jonesing for a nic fix.

Though its only probably true, its worth keeping in mind before putting serious NXT into this ICO.

I think this works better with a cat. But then again, every stupid shit works better with a cat.

Investment is always a risky job .For a good profit , you must need to take some risk .I think those who do not want to risk, this work is not suitable for them.

No risk no profit, that's common sense. The real deal here is to make as best researches as you can and to try to make the risks smaller. You'll win some and lose some, that's how this market works.

Investment always job For. must you always risk those who do not want to risky? Make smaller researches I think not. that's how smaller sense profit. Try to win some profit , you always common works.

You'll win investment job and try work not suitable can and.

I'm sorry, but this is getting to be too painful to watch. HoweyCoins was created by the US Securities & Exchange Commission to warn people about scammy ICOs (which is basically all of them, from what I can tell). THIS IS NOT A REAL PROJECT. If any of you mindless account farmers, haiku bots and bounty hunters actually read the OP and knew more English than what google translate can spit out you would have realized this.

Sadly, I know full well that 99.99% of you won't read this post, either, so you'll continue to write your "good projekt" and "scintillating plan, absorbing vision, faultless logo" crap anyway.

Then literally less than 3 minutes later...

my trust is 1% from start...if good become 2% or maybe negative. so i tough as negative.

This is actually one of the more entertaining threads I've come across in a while. It ironically makes shitposts good, though I don't think I'll be meriting any of them.

9168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I make money (no scam) on: July 23, 2018, 05:46:31 PM
I did have some experience with several bounties before not paying and it is just disappointing that your effort was wasted. Well, it is just the part of being a bounty hunter since there is no guarantee that they would pay.

Being a "bounty hunter" (aka shitposter) isn't a job.

If you don't get paid in your quest for free money, then it's not a job, nor is it free money.

It's just some stupid thing in the middle where you will be wasting your life in the pursuit of nothing.

My advice to all of you is to stay away from the keyboard and read and read and read about cryptocurrency until you can actually formulate original opinions of your own, instead of regurgitating the same mindless garbage that keeps being posted on this board, day in and and day out. You're wasting your time. You're wasting everybody else's time. Have a nice day.
9169  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-21] Cloud-Mining Service Hashflare Disables Bitcoin Mining Contracts on: July 23, 2018, 07:00:47 AM
Genuine question:

Has there ever been a "cloud mining service" that wasn't a scam, or at least end up being a scam?
9170  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-20]JPMorgan Bets On Bitcoin, Five Other Cryptos to Survive Long Term on: July 23, 2018, 05:20:46 AM
To Dimon's ridiculous comments about bitcoin from now saying Cardano of all coins is a long-term hold? Seems to be JP Morgan is just using the press to pump their own investments.

Here's a 3 minute span of Cardano transactions, from today:

This coin has a laughable amount of activity for being a top 10 coin. It has zero real-world adoption and the only reason it made it this far is because its whitepaper insists that its genius. Meanwhile its only wallet is still pretty crappy, sometimes unusable and the amount of technical problems plaguing its network are enormous. My hunch is the devs profited so immensely from it they have little reason to continue seeing it through. This baby has a long, long way to fall.

BTC, ETH, of course, XRP is being used by some banks, DASH and LTC not too sure about.
9171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I make money (no scam) on: July 22, 2018, 04:50:45 PM
anyone knows how to make money online

Leave a comment below

Buy into Bitcoin or Ethereum and hold them and watch the market. This one of the simplest way to make money through cryptocurrency.

This is some of the worst advice I've ever heard. if you bought in any time during the last 8 months you're likely sitting on a substantial loss. Unless if you're really committed for the long haul - which ultimately may not even pay off - do NOT do this.

Though everybody and their mom forgets this, bitcoin was NOT designed to be an INVESTMENT! It's designed to be a currency! Would you invest in dollars or euros? Sheesh.

Now watch my actual words of experience get railroaded by an onslaught of clueless, blathering noobs.

Hope this one will make it. Don't go back.

And a future star is born.
9173  Other / Meta / Re: Buying and Selling BCT Accounts on: July 22, 2018, 12:55:24 PM
OP, there's not a lot that's going to be done, unfortunately.  Theymos doesn't really care if people sell accounts, farm accounts, or any of that.  If he did, there are many things that could be done, the most obvious of which would be to ban account sales on the forum.  So I think your suggestion will fall on deaf ears.

This is a shame because the amount of spam posts flooding the forum is making it unreadable. 9 out of 10 posts are mindless drivel by people who know nothing about anything, usually poorly written or plagiarized, just trying to fill a campaign quota.

I find its not worth chastising shitposters because they seldom go back to threads to read follow-up comments.

Nowadays I turn to less-trafficked sections like this one because they are more informative and entertaining.

Admittedly I did consider selling my account at one time (about 2 years ago) but I couldn't get the price I wanted so I withdrew my offer and kept it -- and now I'm really glad I did.

"I'd say that that's the cat's meow"

Do you know what those are?

Ok sorry lets get back to how awesome Howeycoins are.

I've made 184 successful darknet market transactions with them thusfar, namely buying huge chunks of government employee data.

I've never felt more secure in my wrongdoings.

I'll be doin' an AMA on this BBS, so please advise as to which section I should pen such in since I'm new to this forum.

Don't you mean you're mew to this forum?
9177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Hawaiicoin - A Slice of Paradise on: July 21, 2018, 09:38:45 AM
There's no need to join a mining pool. There hasn't been a block mined in 15 weeks. You should be able to solo mine blocks because the difficulty is incredibly low.

I just checked http://blocks.hicoin.us:8080/status and it looks like you all may have fixed it? I see a new blocks mined today.

It looks like the network is synced now, congratulations, I think its back from the brink.

yep, somebody is mining the shit out of this coin. In 5.6 days they will have surpassed my total accumulation.

A dead coin is reborn! (sort of, block explorer is still kind of a mess and we have 1 node to speak of).

Reported this guy earlier for plagiarism (probably a bot creating posts by taking random phrases from previous posts or something like that), check one of his posts:

How to deploy voting groups or add job options to the Home forum. Because there are many job opportunities in electronic money. However, I was still corrected. A small selection from your post has escaped deletion. Post when you have something of interest to say, not just for the sake of increasing the number of your posts, it's possible to get some sats / exposure for your signature.

Cheesy Cheesy He's a human, or else the bot really knows how to take some creative liberties. Here's the original post:

Either ways you can edit your post after it is being posted on a thread. So i don't think that should be the focus on this forum. How about implementing Vote pools, or Add job option to the Home forums. I know I the place can be vandalized but with strict forum moderator the place can turn out good. Because there are so many job opportunities in cryptocurrency. Without a special thread for it, posting job opportunities around other threads will still be regarded spam. I stand to be corrected though. Just adding up...

This is the classic free traffic getaway and thanks to people like op they have got crazy amount of free traffic coming in😂.

Yeah all that free traffic's doing me a world of good buddy. Better click on my sig before all the free money is gone.

And the article was actually published by Bloomberg; Frank made me second guess myself.

This business is for people who are brave enough to face the risk of making decisions. Because many people are scary when the encryption price has been dumped and they sell it at low rates. So the cryptography is not because of panic selling.

Congratulations!!
