Just caught this beaut.

I've been very brave today as I've made at least 100 decisions, including to ridicule this post.

How many Merits does this post deserve for this information we all need?

10, 20 or more?
9182  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Is this section a honeypot of sorts? on: July 21, 2018, 06:52:31 AM
How dumb do you have to be to buy and sell accounts in this section?

Don't you know you'll instantly be marked with red trust per forum rules?
9183  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTS Bitcointalk Accounts {Email Included} on: July 21, 2018, 06:49:34 AM
Don't understand how these can be offered here? Your a scrub and anyone selling or buying accounts from here is like eating where you shit.
You should be banned for having multiple accounts

This message was ironically written from a hacked or sold account. Take a look at his post history.

Self preservation keeps the crowd alive ?

Holy cow, rereading Satoshi's OP of all forum posts, I just discovered that you were the second poster on this forum ever. Mad props to you!

It seems that by this point Satoshi is now more legend than man, taking into consideration that:

 - His total public presence spans less than 3 years
 - Nobody could ever definitively pinpoint who he/she/they were
 - They were probably more than 1 person

Perhaps this was all by design, perhaps Satoshi really did lose access to his private keys.

If the former is true, it stands to reason that whoever created bitcoin already has more money than whatever they could gain from bitcoin, or else is sworn under some kind of blood oath never to reveal themselves or cash out their BTC.

If the latter is true, maybe he's too embarrassed to admit he lost them? How could you move on to "other things" after bitcoin?? I'm genuinely curious as to what they might be. (Guess I should ask Mike Hearn).

The overlapping features of other mythological figures and Satoshi are substantial. He can definitely be made into some kind of libertarian, anti-authority prophet, if people are inclined to do so. Why not? People need something to believe in.

There is nothing simpler than someone proving he is Satoshi.

There is zero reason, gain or advantage in speculation.

True, but its fun anyway. Just like its fun to speculate about the originator of anything anonymously created that had a substantial impact on reality.
9185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Hawaiicoin - A Slice of Paradise on: July 20, 2018, 03:06:01 AM
There's no need to join a mining pool. There hasn't been a block mined in 15 weeks. You should be able to solo mine blocks because the difficulty is incredibly low.
9186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Take some time to remember that Satoshi only had 575 posts. on: July 19, 2018, 01:03:22 PM
(okay so move this to Meta or Off-Topic if you absolutely must, though you know it will have more of an impact here)

Our Founder the great Satoshi had 575 posts total in a time span of little over a year (little over... little under... I forget because I already closed his profile page, so sue me).

I'm closing in on 5x as many posts as him yet my contribution to bitcoin is roughly 1/1,000,000th in size (or less, depending on your favorite metrics).

Why bring this up?

Because there are Jr. Members in this forum with over twice (sometimes 3x, 4x) as many posts as him that have yet to say a single interesting thing.

I'd say at least 75% of the posts on this forum are now written by "bounty hunters," which is a glorious new description for "signature campaigners," and they're making the forum impossible to read.

The worst part is they never go back and read responses to their old posts because they are too busy churning out new posts to fulfill their "bounty" requirement.

I find the best way to glean actual information from threads now is to scroll down checking the user Post/Activity to Merit ratio. If the Member has several hundred posts and there's a big G00se Egg in the Merits department, its safe to assume the user is just wasting forum space, so I skip their comment and my eyes continue scrolling downward.

So please, before mindlessly posting a response to this OP, take some time to really consider if you are adding anything to the conversation or if you are just mindlessly droning on in the ever-irritating quest for easy money.

You'll find your experience here much more enjoyable if you take some time to read, learn and understand. THEN you might have a better clue of what kind of bounty to join, and God willing, you just might have something interesting to say. And if God really wills it, you might just earn a Merit!

Thanks for your attention.

anyone knows how to make money online

Yeah, you get an online job.

can you give us an example of what kind of online business we can find that we are not happy with the legal trend, if you are okay?

Sure. This isn't the right part of the forum for this but I highly recommend checking out online freelance sites, like Upwork.com. That's how I got my last job, which I still have, and I now write about cryptocurrency for a living.
9188  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: July 19, 2018, 12:45:52 PM
Mainly I'm just here to bookmark this thread for future LOLs. But while I'm here, it took me about 2 minutes to find this one:

The coin that is great for long-term investment is bitcoin. As I said before, bitcoin has a higher value so you can get a higher return when you invest in bitcoin.
The best for long-term investment when it comes to bitcoin is the Bitcoin Triple Play. Besides of good income, they have their legal documents according to their business.

Oh, as he said before, you know, he shouldn't have to repeat himself because we all should have been paying attention the first time he said it.

You guys want something funny? Open any thread posted in bitcoin/altcoin discussion. The place is 90% shit post and it's really rare to have some interaction within.

The sad thing is that those spammers do not have to go through those spam comments. They are busy spamming at the fastest pace possible. It is the genuine users who have to read all that crap and suffer.

Yes you are absolutely correct. It makes no difference if you try to mock or shame them, they will have written 5 new posts in the meanwhile.

9190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: July 19, 2018, 03:05:21 AM
Not yet, bitcoin will not die this year. Stop making a statement like that you are just helping those people to bring bitcoin down. If you really believe on this thing you will say positive things about it.

One day I will be back on this thread and tell you that you are wrong, bitcoin will bounce back for sure, just wait for it.

Just like what they said you can not call it the death of bitcoin. Stop making a fake news that can make other people think negative about it because that can cause falling of bitcoin.

Did you even stop to consider that you were responding to a post made on March 30th? Anything you have to say in response to it is long outdated. Nobody cares.
9191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: July 19, 2018, 02:36:50 AM
The quality of posts on this forum has become quite appalling. Its like everybody posting thinks the OP was just written yesterday and like anything they have to contribute is original and worth reading. It's not. There should be a way to mute Members and below.
9192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-SALE][ICO] Petro $PTR - Oil backed crypto currency launched by Venezuela on: July 17, 2018, 04:20:17 AM
Neither exchange has any volume or users.
They are just shells of websites.
Amberescoin is a joke: all the links redirect you back to the homepage.
Did you read my quotes?
Can you read?

Yes and yes, that's why I think your posts are a joke.

A state-run cryptocurrency goes against the very principles of why cryptocurrency was developed in the first place.
then don't buy petros and leave the thread, as simple as that.

I'm rather entertained at what an awful con artist your president is, so I think I'll stay.

You know, I really wanted to have a reason to feel sorry for Venezuela. Well I do -- I feel sorry for the good people caught up in a proxy war they have nothing to do with. I know pressures of U.S. imperialism are making the lives of the average citizen worse there. But Maduro and seemingly all the politicians there are lying cheaters trying to keep their people poor so they can have way too much wealth, so fuck them.

That's why I have the intention of further dragging this scam into the light of day and letting it bake in the sun. Good luck trying to stop me. You're clearly a paid shill, just like taseenb, and you're awful at your job. Like I said, Maduro should fire you and find a better spinmeister.

If you want to try mining this coin, you can download it from here:

https:// mega.nz/#!8rZCjIhY!lU36ZFdDcjAKxBz8pYwHiJiSgjn73c7rB-CfzKUN5q4

It would be fun to bring it back to life again.
9194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Hawaiicoin - A Slice of Paradise on: July 16, 2018, 06:56:37 AM
What is this coin all about? It was created in 2014 and no one knows anything about it, no progress what so ever, why are people still posting in this thread? I'm genuinely curious.

I have a big stash I'd like to make worth money.

However, there's nobody actively mining it so new blocks can't be formed.

I tried solo mining but nothing happened. Frankly I don't want to burn my CPU trying to mine it, but the difficulty is very low (solo mining should be no problem), and if there's 500 mined per block then it would only take you a day or so to catch up with me.

There's 4 transactions waiting to be confirmed. That will net the next successful miner a juicy 4 HIC in tx fees.
9195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin [Equihash] on: July 15, 2018, 11:28:18 AM
This coin was always a pile of shit. For some reason the mods deleted my posts here warning people not to get involved with it. Now I still have to see this thread in my new replies whenever somebody bumps it.

Just let it die in peace already.

If the BCH people want it to succeed so badly, why don't they push for merchant adoption and make a case for its actual utility instead of constantly trying to undermine bitcoin? That strategy just hasn't paid off very well for them so far.
9197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano on: July 15, 2018, 09:14:52 AM
I regret ever posting in this thread. Now I have to see it in my new replies all the time just so I can read some retards drivel they clearly vomited up because they are trying to meet the requirement for their shitty sig campaign.

Care to explain how an exchange where the price of the petro is dictated by the government works?

Care to explain how people are going to trade petros at all when they were never released by the government?

9199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi is Back, suggests Fortune on: July 14, 2018, 04:28:24 AM
I'm thinking its definitely not him.

Looking at his older posts, Satoshi was never that wordy, unless he was trying to technically explain something. He didn't have a penchant for drama, and obviously wanted to maintain his anonymity. He also doesn't need any money, or to say anything, because his work speaks for itself.

I've forgotten Petro...and now i see this thread with 55 pages!

Is petro...alive? Where can i find info about the pre-sale?

If you bother to read some of the comments, or anything, you will find your answer. Don't expect to be spoon-fed information here.
