I heard some people saying that to get the visa card ICONOMI is giving , I should invest a certain amount of money ? how much is it ? and the VISA is a Bitcoin debit card like E-coin.io and others ? could someone give us enough information's about their card and when It's supposed to be released please
9182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Your Business Should Care About Bitcoin? on: September 23, 2016, 09:04:52 AM
Regardless the business someone would start , he should always consider Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as they offer pseudonymity as users are always more comfortable while they don't provide any real information's like credit cards credentials.

I'm not sure about the simplicity you mentioned, though. I mean if Bitcoin was that easy to use (It is but you should first read about it ) everyone would use it and It's not the case.
9183  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] COINSBANK.COM launches Universal Crypto Solution at Money2020 Europe on: September 23, 2016, 07:50:26 AM
thx for the reply habibi, can you tell me whats the ATM withdrawal limit ? and does it have lifetime limit ( like i can only withdraw total of 500$ and thats it i wont be able to use it in ATM anymore) thx for help again

If you check the link I gave you above , you will see that It clearly says that the maximum sum that can be spent (overall turnover) with card is 250 EUR or 300 USD depending of the card's currency. so yeah , the limits are pretty hard to deal with and the card is probably useless since limits are simply bad.

9184  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: anyone has the code of or something like bitpay on: September 22, 2016, 04:03:35 PM
anyone has the code of  or something like bitpay?

Bitpay is simple , no programming knowledge or big skills required to use it => https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-payment-gateway-api they also have samples for PHP , NodeJS & Ruby (the widely used languages) : https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-for-ecommerce#code-libraries and they also support WordPress , Shopify ,Foxycart , 3dcart etc...
Basically , the above apply on most of payment gateways  like Coinbase.com and many others...
9185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is earning bitcoin Boring? on: September 22, 2016, 01:14:49 PM
What do you say? Isn't earning bitcoin through the likes of signature campaigns, tweets and posts really boring? I really think so, at least its not an attractive or appealing way to earn bitcoin or any money for that matter.
What do you think? What are the most interesting and appealing ways to earn Bitcoin Online?

It's not , If you like what you are doing. I mean If you are trying to be helpful to the community then wearing a signature will be only something extra to earn some BTC from , If you are a skilled designer and you make templates for websites then you could use your skills to earn BTC and It won't be boring , same thing for anything else. However , If you are doing it only and only to get BTCs and nothing else then you will be bored and you will fail with time. (this is valid for both earning bitcoin/altcoin or fiat)

hello my address verification got denied
i dont have bank account, and iam living with my parents in a rented house, but i have a government residential id that says where i live, but in arabic would that work ?
i hope you can help me i really dont have other way to verify my address
i live in iraq so no one type his address on any paper cuz we rarely use it

If you check the following list , you will see that IRAQ (I'm from Algeria and I have the same thing) are restricted from this : https://coinsbank.com/cards-details which means you won't be able to create a virtual card or a card with your name. As far as I know , the only thing you could order is No-name limited card
9187  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin to USD on: September 22, 2016, 10:37:47 AM
Brother, thanking you for your quick reply, I already seen those APIs
But tell me if I received 0.0012 BTC then how could I come to know that I received $???.

The first link should give you the price of 1 BTC and return it on JSON , once you get that you do the math. If 1 BTC = 600$ for example then you simply do 600*0.0012 = 0.72$ (72 cents) , as simple as that.
9188  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin to USD on: September 22, 2016, 09:43:13 AM
Hello,
I'm using blockchain api to receive payment using my web app.  When user makes payment I got response on callback url but I received the value in satoshi and if I divided it with 10000000.. then it converts it to btc.
The question is how to convert that btc to usd.?  Is there any api for that or any calculations?
Please help

Bitcoin price is based on supply-demand so there is no calculation for it . It's possible to use Blockchain.info API to get the price , though : https://blockchain.info/api/exchange_rates_api

BTC to USD : https://blockchain.info/ticker
USD to BTC : https://blockchain.info/tobtc?currency=USD&value=500 (where 500 is the USD value)
9189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: what size of block now with bitcoin core on: September 22, 2016, 09:05:13 AM
I have update for 1 day from scrach and now 1year and 30 weeks waiting......

as the new block become bigger and bigger , how much data we need to get to keep the client side  new?

If you don't want to download the whole blockchain then you can activate prune-mode : https://bitcoin.org/en/release/v0.12.0#wallet-pruning , as for the size you could check it here : https://blockchain.info/charts/blocks-size (~80GB at the moment) .
I don't have much knowledge about raw transactions but you should be able to according to this answer (steps included) : http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/16751/can-you-send-bitcoins-from-bitcoin-qt-without-downloading-the-whole-blockchain
9190  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blocktrail.com | Wallet | Explorer | API on: September 22, 2016, 08:33:04 AM
Would you be able to add a function that allows people to sign a message from an address that we own? I'm hoping for something like that since we can already verify messages.

I already asked this question like a month ago , and It seems like It won't be possible , at least not with the current wallet (that have both HD & Multi-signature) because I think that signing messages will give you both keys which won't make sense since you should control only one key , either that or It will require much work. => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=756279.msg15930072#msg15930072
9191  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Instant Paypal to Btc Websites on: September 22, 2016, 07:42:01 AM
Would there ever be sites that could instantly sell bitcoin for paypal, or do you guys think this is not possible due to paypals chargeback policy?

Virwox.com should do the job for you , If you want to trade your PayPal to BTC instantly. The first time may time a while though (like 48 hours) then every other transaction should go smoothly without any issues.
Another thing you could do is trade with individual in "Currency exchange" section in Bitcointalk/Hackforums or Leakforums.
9192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rising to 600$ , pure manipulation ? on: September 21, 2016, 09:18:39 AM
If this is not pure manipulation then I don't know what it is , how do you guys explain decreasing back to 599$ in a few hours ?
I'm sure It has nothing to do with Bitfinex as that exchange is pretty much dead for what comes to the trading volume (compared to the old trading volume they had), everyone switched to Poloniex => https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/
9193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPO of MaidSafe:  Entering the Future of the Decentralized Internet on: September 21, 2016, 08:54:19 AM
Why is synereo already overfunded in shorter time? Maidsafe made far less money in the same time.

https://bnktothefuture.com/pitches/synereo

https://bnktothefuture.com/pitches/maidsafe-net

Any opinions synero vs maidsafe? Worth investing?

MaidSafe started getting funds by the CEO as far as I know (from family & friends) by 5 million dollars then the Crowdsale was so successful (they got 7$ million in five hours) and now they are now using BankToTheFuture . So in terms of funding , MaidSafe was better.
In my opinion , both worth investing but MaidSafe (decentralized internet) will be probably more successful as It offers better much better stuff than simply a Decentralized Social media website (Synereo). It's just a matter of time till MaidSafe price will skyrocket, for the moment there is no use for it but once the real version is released , It will increase.
9194  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC.com | BITCOIN WALLET | BLOCK EXPLORER | API | MINING POOL on: September 21, 2016, 07:46:36 AM
NeutralLTC own a BTC.com  Grin Grin Grin

Anyway if I would trust and use btc.com, I for sure need more info about owner and history if the company

nice site say nothing about security and the trust level of it

I know of Bitmain Technologies and their history

Well , Bitmain is trusted and they are controlling Blocktrail.com now . I personally would trust BTC.COM/Blocktrail.com more than Blockchain.info as they have Multi-sig wallet and they can't spend any funds without the private keys you own , unlike BC where they don't use that + wallets are stored on physical servers (even If it's guarded 24/7 , It could get robbed). Also see here , there is some decent info about their security : https://www.blocktrail.com/faq
Without forgetting the fact that Blocktrail is open source as well and you could check the source code yourself : https://github.com/blocktrail/blocktrail-webwallet

9196  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: can not join my blockchain.info wallet on: September 20, 2016, 07:42:35 PM
even when i past wrong pass nothing happens too.

site it down? scam or what?

anyone can join their accounts?

It's not a scam , blockchain.info don't even store users passwords in their servers so they can't scam you (but they can get hacked) . Anyway , I just checked their Twitter account and It seems like there is a lot of people who are experiencing your problem : https://twitter.com/blockchain/status/778316824727449600
9197  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: can not join my blockchain.info wallet on: September 20, 2016, 07:20:28 PM
can not join my blockchain.info wallet. i input my pass, press "sign in" and nothing happens. no error, no massages. seams like it loading process. and it`s already 2-3 hours i can not join and use money. i am alone with this problem?

I'm more than sure that It has something to do with your browser since It doesn't give you any errors , I have this issue from time to time in websites that use AngularJS / BackboneJS .
Try to change your browser or try in another PC instead, that should fix the issue.
EDIT : after checking the website , It seems like there is too many requests (or a DDOS attack) , wait sometime and try again later In case the solution above doesn't work.
9198  Economy / Reputation / Re: Signature Confirmation Assistance Please on: September 20, 2016, 07:01:46 PM
I couldn't get it verified using http://coinig.com/ but It's working fine with Bitcoin Core as you can see , you should make sure you didn't add any spaces or something. (Space is count as character afaik) :

9199  Other / Meta / Re: How to verify if an account was hacked?? on: September 20, 2016, 05:10:25 PM
I know I have been here a bit, but I am wondering if there is any ways way or methods that others use to verify if an account has been hacked or such.  I have been offering loans for some time now and I never ran across the issues because most of the time someone else has already verified if someone hacked the account, so I never needed to verify myself.  It is time I learn how to do these checks on my own.  Thank you in advance for anyone who assists.

Profiles don't show edited passwords for long period of time as far as I know however , the seclog should give you the ability to check any recent password changes in the last 30 days : https://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php
and logically , a hacker will change the password unless he wants to make things look legit and he knows that the owner of the account is so inactive.
So you should always check the post history (to see how active is this member, trust + If he changed his password) and you should be fine.
9200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to CoinJoin? on: September 20, 2016, 03:02:45 PM
Why was Sharedcoin (I believed it said it utilized CoinJoin at one point) removed from blockchain.info?  Does CoinJoin exist anymore? (Not JoinMarket) It was super easy to use as it was built into the send of the online wallet on blockchain.info.

Who shut it down?  Is the code still out there?

As far as I know , It got disabled (at least for the moment) and honestly , I don't think It's coming back anytime soon as the blockchain repo got removed as you can see here : https://github.com/blockchain/Sharedcoin
