"Withdrawals "may take some time" due to elevated website traffic."

Or, in other words, they stole the money.

That is the same thing that fall on my mind. Or maybe even worst they lost it on gambling or some ponzi investment and now they don't have money to pay out people.

Maybe they will share more information why they quit in next few days.
9182  Economy / Gambling / Re: runMartingale - A command-line martingale-based dice gambling simulator on: January 23, 2016, 12:14:23 AM
A very useful site for those who still use martingale.
You need an infinite amount to win with this strategy.

Even with infintive amount u have max bet on many dice sites. So infinte betting is not working for sure, on one moment house will not let u to double the bet cause its higher then max bet, simply.
Everyone who play dices know martingale is not working on long run, so this simulators are probably just some trick. Nothing more.

Im reading your comments and I see we need to prepare for some hell of a ride. Like someone above me said " lotta people are gonna be shitting their pants."  Well anyway I`m keeping my coins for after halving for sure. This ups and downs are just normal thing for bitcoin as we can see.

9185  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: January 22, 2016, 10:39:18 PM
if I is not selling my bitcoin , only I hold the bitcoin , until the bitcoin prices high , then I sold it .

But why selling if u can buy something with bitcoin directly? I think OP is right about this, if we do something like that with our coins that can only move price up and make bitcoin more acceptable in everyday life.
Also I get what u mean, sometimes everyone need cash, and everyone of us would sell for some high price there is no doubt in that.
9186  Economy / Gambling / Re: How can I win big? on: January 22, 2016, 09:47:04 PM
Honestly, its really difficult winning on sport bets. I tried in the past. IT seems easy when you are watching the game on TV, but when you actually put some money on your team, that team ends up losing.

No it isn't it is one of if not the easiest ways to win from betting if you have recent knowledge of the sports your betting on.
I am up over all from sports but down from playing the house at a casino.
OP you win big by betting big on big odds. There is of course parlay betting where you can bet small and win big but that falls under the big odds.
Small/slow and steady wins the race.

Agree with this, small and slow is much better and safer then fast and big.
I think OP need to try something small before he make some big hit. Following results and games in past is crucial in this, inform yourself always.
Wish u luck.
9187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 22, 2016, 06:44:22 PM
Last time they met Hamburg made no goal, I think both teams to score is risky

True, and it was a 5-0 big victory. Bayern Munchen should not have problem winning by 2 goals today as the away team. My bet is on Bayern Munchen -1.5 @ 1.63 today.

so I will try to take risk bet over 3.5 goals, Bayern Munchen -2. but i prefer to take half time Bayern Munchen win.

I also think Bayern Munchen can make double win here (to win in first and second half) @ 2.25. I also think 2-2 & 3 + will be good for this game. Hamburg have no chance in this game. If they even score one goal that will be a surprise.
9188  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Richest 62 people as wealthy as half of world's population on: January 22, 2016, 04:03:56 PM
There are only a few billionaires donating to charity just to check out of the IT returns. If they report a donation to charity they wouldn't have to pay as much of Income tax and thus it's all a big gamble in the large society. It's still a good way to distribute their wealth to the poor and needy though.

"Distribute their wealth" no man, no.. Its just part of the system, cant u see they doing that for years and they done nothing. I always wondered if they can't spend it what do they need it? I dont think we will see better situation ever, it will be same, masters and slaves. That just prove that we are still animals. For some will be better, for some will be worst, its completly individual.

9189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What regular people think about bitcoin ? on: January 22, 2016, 01:52:52 PM
What people think about bitcoin is based on what they read and heard. Some people had luck to hear about it from people who can explain it good and interesting for the listener. So we can't generalize about the entire population, eveyone had different introduction with BTC.
In my case, I mean around me, regular people are sceptic. Some more and some less, but I think some of them starting to change their opinion about it. I even have some friends playing poker for bitcoins now. And I think they like the fact they can earn something like that.

0.04 in few hours solving captchas? Well this sounds like some fairytale hehe. On some faucets I couldn't make 0.01 for a month. This sounds to good to be truth. If someone get coins from here announce it here.
9194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back $410 on: January 20, 2016, 05:03:43 PM
The Chinese pboc meeting discussing crypto signals that it's gaining more acceptance from their government. It's like when the USA announced it wasn't banning Bitcoin and the price shot up to $1000. It could go higher than $420 on the news because it's the opposite of China banning Bitcoin, they are accepting it.

How much higher? Can someone predict how much this spike will go up?
Can we make it to 500 $?
9195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: January 20, 2016, 10:11:27 AM
Sin is an artificial construct.

There is good and there is evil but there is no such thing as sin.

Sin was invented as a mechanism of controlling and profiting from the masses via guilt.

I agree with this, system just wish to control people. I think people can do what ever they like, just to not hurt other people. Gambling is ok, just dont spent more then u can and everything will be ok.
I`m not a religious person so for me its jut fun to play different games I like in money, also I know that every religion have different opinion about gambling and many of them forbid it (like many other things).
Enjoy and have fun!
9196  Other / Politics & Society / Re: why your religion is best religion? on: January 19, 2016, 04:00:53 PM
U are all wrong. Jah knows..its not about being best, its cause its good. Everything else is just bad. In last 2000 years your religions ruined this world! So stand up and fight, fight for positive day, me cant live in this negative way.
9197  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice websites comparsion on: January 19, 2016, 11:57:40 AM
im pretty sure that the exchange called yobit also has the dice game in it to wager your coins i think you should add it, because you can gamble there all the cryptos as far as i know

I would not use Yobit for any transaction. Be it gambling or trading.
Their exchange is corrupt. They support altcoin ponzi's. And big withdrawals will take weeks to fill. I remember waiting 1 week for a 0.1 BTC withdrawal

First their dices are shit, but yes u can gamble with any crypto u wish. I played with most of them and my opinion is simple, better don't waste yout money.
Second I trade there from time to time, had several withdrawal and I never had any problems. I was in their signature campaign and like i said everything was good.
9198  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: January 19, 2016, 07:48:45 AM
Can I live from gambling with bitcoins? Well that is my plan, for now I'm earning some low amounts, but its higher then 3 months ago.. if I continue to rise my income from that maybe I have a chance. Money is for using and spending not for saving.
9199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: best way to convert altcoins to btc? on: January 19, 2016, 12:35:36 AM
I've noticed some faucets deal out litecoin, dogecoin, peercoin, primecoin, darkcoin and other alt currencies.

If ppl accept these dispenses, what's the best way to convert them into a useful crypto like btc?

Go to trade site and take deposit adres for altcoin u wish to claim on faucet. When amount came u just trade it for btc. That is how I do that, to not install some wallets. But its hard, when u calculate it maybe its better to stay on btc faucets.
9200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 18, 2016, 11:47:29 PM
I would like to see that happen, disappearing of banks sounds great. But unfortunately that will not happen. For me its hard to predict what will banks do about and with bitcoin but for sure they have some plans. What is for some bank couple million dollars,  they can came in the game when ever they wish, maybe they are in now who can tell?
