9181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 16, 2017, 09:13:23 AM
You need to calculate your win and lose percentage and self control is the main thing. No one can do it for you. You have found your problem so you are half done. So you can also solve your problem now. Good luck
All you need is self control and a whole lot of promises to yourself because it's only you who can control it. Think of your relationships and think what can happen first when you bet. That's enough to know if it's good for you or not.
9182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 16, 2017, 02:59:37 AM
You can never totally control greed in my opinion because it's the state of mind of people. When you feel that you have the chance to win more games and more hands, you will feel confident, and while you do that, you don't see that you are already greedy in some way. That's why you can only minimize it by setting goals and probably believing in yourself that you can.
9183  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Earthquake hits Manila on: April 16, 2017, 02:25:17 AM
Why this is even in the news? The earthquake had a magnitude of just 5.9, and it had a depth of 43 km. This means that the number of casualties are likely to be very low. Also, the epicenter was some 70 km away from Manila in the South China Sea.

An earthquake is always news, there is the chance that no lives are lost but there are going to be probably some economic repercussions, so it is important.
The important thing is to notify the people who are surrounded or near the area and let them prepare because the earthquake has been on going through the weeks that passed. It's somewhat continuous and the people should be notified. Not because it's a small earthquake, it still should be broadcasted, it's likely some structures were damaged also.
9184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: April 15, 2017, 01:33:17 AM
I generally use my profits to keep gambling. Most of the time I end up losing but I just play for fun anyway. The little bit I win keeps the gambling going.

As long as you play with a small amount for gambling fun once in awhile then you can still continue gambling. But if you play with a small amount every day then it is not good in the longer term. Because even if you lose small amount every day then in the longer run you will lose lot of many and it can also lead you to addict these games. So don't gamble every day these gambling games.
When you gamble, it's better to play what you can afford to lose, not just being a small amount. That's what you can do every time you gamble. It's sometimes beneficial, sometimes not because for sure, you are going to lose from time to time.
9185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: April 14, 2017, 11:05:38 AM
Create a unique bitcoin adress.
Don't share you private adress with anyone.
Setup a phrase for private adress.
Print out a paper wallet.
Keep that wallet in safe.
Make sure that nobody is able to reach and see your private key.
That's all! You don't need any shinny bitcoin hardware wallet.
I think users want something flexible. paper wallet will be a little tricky to use, it might be nice to use paper wallet if you're already committed to keep bitcoin in a long time

Oh come on, there is nothing tricky with paper wallet. It's simple and secure. For a beginner, there is nothing easier than online wallets such as Coinbase and Blockchain.info for sure. Yet If you wanna make sure your bitcoins are in secure, the paper wallet method is out there for you!

I'm not concerned about security. because paper wallet will definitely be safe because you will be protected from hackers, I'm concerned about the flexibility of paper wallet would be less complicated to transaction right ?

There are hardware wallets that are easier to use also. Also, the hardware already provides the keys, etc. Paper wallets are easy also, but you need to be offline to be perfectly secure.
9186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: April 14, 2017, 10:16:38 AM
Yes I do agreed with you, there is no easy way to make profit from gambling. especially if most of the behavior of gambler was always depending in luck. gambling is too risky to do it, even sports betting is kind a good one which is really need to use analysis and strategy.

It shouldn't be taken lightly and we shouldn't think that there's an easy way to make profit from gambling. Because every time that we are going to gamble our funds are at risk and it's very hard to depend with it. Maybe if you are already a professional gambler, you can earn and sell out your strategy or tutorials.

People think that it is the easiest way but only IF you win all the time. That is highly impossible. If you even know the basics of gambling and trading, you'll know how much riskier it is to gamble rather than trading. In trading you may get something even if you don't reach the target or have a loss but in gambling you'll loose everything in just a second. So never think that gambling is easy money.
Of course, it depends also on the chance you are willing to take. If you always bet on 90% chance of winning, for sure the winning outcomes are always 90% higher than the losing chance which is 10%. You could lessen that by applying a strategy when betting, increasing more chances of winning.
9187  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If you believe we should kill all Muslims... on: April 14, 2017, 06:15:30 AM
My reasoning is very simple. I don't want to live near Muslims. Not all of them may be terrorists or terrorist supporters, but the vast majority of the terrorists are Muslims. My logic is that, prevention is better than cure. Why take the risk?

BTW... I don't want to kill any of them, as long as they don't attack me.
This is also what I have in mind and that's what matters most. We just try to live in peace and we give peace back. Not to discriminate or anything, it's just that it's their religion. That's why they are doing it that way.
9188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 14, 2017, 06:10:04 AM
Greediness is a common nature of human. This cannotbe completely avoided, one can reduce the greediness making a schedule to gamble. If won need to gamble with half the amount won and in the consecutive event if lost, a small portion is there as profit. Just save it, don'ttry anymore to get back the lost amount. This makes you greedy.

I will going to oppose with what you had said. Yes, greediness is part of human nature, we may not stop it but we can avoid it. You can't stop it if you are the one holds the finances of your household but if someone is willing to do that and he/she will not allow you to touch or move any single amount, I guess that will help you to control greediness.
It will always be like that, we are made of complexities and we don't know how we can be perfect but we all have that flaws. It's unavoidable. Just gamble for fun but not all the time. It's fun to play with a thrill but don't get addicted to it.
9189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is definition gambling in your mind? on: April 14, 2017, 05:55:29 AM
In order to call something gambling, 2 requirements must be met:

1. Putting money at stake on order to make more money

2. Having negative expected value

Many people like to say that trading is just gambling, or buying Bitcoin is a gambling, but if it's impossible to prove that expected value is negative, then you can't call it gambling. This is the main difference between gambling and investing/trading. Gambling is also usually instant, but not necessarily.
Well, the positive thing is to look always at the bright side, never on the downside. Everything has risks always, and that's what can challenge us the most. The difference is that money is at stake. Some people want to gamble to earn profits, and that's what everyone wants.
9190  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why is life so hard/complicated? on: April 14, 2017, 05:50:57 AM
If life is easier, nobody will fight for it, if life is easier, nobody will keep improvement, we can think the way how we think.
Every day is a fight for us and it would be beneficial for us if we always go up for the challenge. Improvement is one thing we need to become better in life, whether physically, spiritually, and mentally.

Can you please list those are are accepted for the next round
I'll do enrollments together with the payments tomorrow morning.
Would appreciate if you can do the payments upto tomorrow itself, instead of sunday. As some of us probably would have made less posts in the wait of the payment. Thank you.
I'll do a double round on monday, as something came up and I wont be abled to process payments before, sorry for the further delay.
Will also look into improving communication with lightlord, so I'll always have sufficient funds to process payments right away at the time set for you and me.

Thanks for the update manager lutpin, it looks better if you'll do a double round for the upcoming Monday. Because there might be some conflict with the post counting. Thanks for being responsive and wants to make things better for this campaign.

I agree with this. It looks better that way. Thanks for the update too.
9192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: April 14, 2017, 05:22:59 AM
set two daily numbers...your starting cash and your "walk away" amount.

stop once you have either lost the started amount or have reached your daily goal.  bank back the money if you have hit your goal.  "feeling luck" or "riding a streak" is exactly what the house wants and causes a win to eventually become a loss

One small advice, you are going to lose everything before you get to the amount that you have set. FIrst of all there is no guarantee that you are going to hit your goal. If you walk in with $10 and set a $20 goal then whats the point to get those $20 when you could walk away safely right now with $17 on your hand?
It still depends on what you are trying to play for the strategies. There is definitely a chance to win your goal and it's all up to your chosen bet. It still depends on what you want, of course, you always have to set a goal because you are looking forward for that. Having just PROFIT would be nice also.
9193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: April 14, 2017, 04:44:49 AM
for all people in the world still, need money for each, then the gambling addiction can not be stopped because of the gambling for some people who are unable to please them all at once can meet their needs.

Stupidity means that you wont know the difference between able to stop on your own and pretending not to be able to stop your addiction. Most people think that when they are addicted, they lost themselves . In fact it is not and you still possesed your own body. All you need is a determination to stop the madness that you are doing
That's not what actually is happening, don't judge so harshly, maybe he or she is just addicted and just cannot stop. We all have our own demons that concern with addiction, and you definitely know that it's really hard to stop it because it's a part of you. It's easy to say but hard to do.
9194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: April 14, 2017, 04:41:02 AM

Not because of the easy money but winning alot is just sometimes happening to me i always lose or more on lose than winning in the game. I just don't lose small sometimes my profit from signature campaign i gambled that and trying to make more money on it but it seem bad luck for me coz im getting lose everyday tho.

Profit is still a profit no matter how small it is . As long as you get profit from an EV- games then you need to get it out of there as soon as possible. There is no point to wait until you get a huge amount when you know you are going to lose in the long term, most people just cant understand this simple thing
They don't understand it because they want more of it, and we all know that GREED IS NOT GOOD. It would just lead you to the emptying of your bankroll, it's not going to work. Maybe a small percent it could work but definitely not always. You would just lose.
9195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: April 14, 2017, 04:26:53 AM
I think just to customize your own setting who is not supported by the dice site itself.Or for playing for a long period of time automatically.Still i dont get why people are using gambling bot scripts,i have tried one on bustabit and i just lose more money.
In my opinion, that's why I use bots too. It's hard to customize your bets in the site itself, and it just serves auto bets and not some auto stop or something. It's fun to experiment using dice bots, and you should try to limit yourself because you will never know what can happen in the long run. You just need to have a great strategy in order to earn a great way.
9196  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: April 14, 2017, 04:11:46 AM
Yes I agree with that idea, in that way bitcoin will be more introduced to people without knowledge about bitcoin. and they can  be purchased in banks so more people will buy for bitcoin
Yeah to go mainstream it needs the attention and usage from the common men around the world who are not much knowledged. So a banking service similar to a helping service will make more people start using bitcoin as well spreading happens in a faster phase. Same time a negative impact might happen that a part of the community goes under someone's control.
It would b e contradicting to the Bitcoin part if it was part of the banks because you can be your own bank with just an address, and there you would keep everything there. Using bitcoin to purchase stuff would be a part of making it viral already. Most things that people are scared of is its reputation on being used illegally because it's pseudo anonymous, but still, it's not for that purpose and it depends on what you intend to do about it.
9197  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 14, 2017, 03:51:55 AM
It is better to save money. In investing ,you might lose all money you  invest,or gives you  more money..So it is better to save money..You have to be brave on investing..
saving should be prioritized rather than invest. because it invests only option when you have leftover money from income or salary then you can use it for investment

But you need to have a specific plan on how you divide your savings, it needs to ensure that you will not spend into business or investment the amount that is intended for emergency expenses. Part of your savings which I believe a little portion only should be in investment, that way you can grow your money.
Saving is always a better way to profit and meet all our unexpected or emergency requirement. But diversifying it and making investments will make your savings more effective. Because right now there are long term and short term investments. You can invest it for less than a week and withdraw.
I do it this way, I save money than in the future, I invest it in some of the things that I think I can earn profit from. Just like what the financial adviser says, save to invest not save to just save. Your money won't grow and it would just stay like that. If it was a Ponzi scheme, you withdraw right away.
9198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: April 14, 2017, 03:29:00 AM

I agree with your strategy, and that's going to be a great thing you could apply in everything. For example, if you want to buy a car or something. You're going to weigh the pros and cons of buying it. What's going to be the future costs in you? Everything has a risk, and it's the lessening of the chance to lose is what matters.
9199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: April 14, 2017, 03:24:22 AM
I've only placed money into Bitcoin that I can afford to do without. There are still a lot of unknowns with regard to the future success of Bitcoin. It will be a high risk investment for a while longer.
It is a high risk involved investment than other investments that's available. At the same it gives a better profit than the common schemes due to the successful growth happening depending upon the mass adoption and the way it'smoved forward in relation to the technology updation.
All investments are also have risky, Yeah I agree with you that invest
into Bitcoin is very high risky. But don't forget, Investing in Bitcoin also can make
us get high profit without doing anything. Buy at a cheap price then hold for next year.
It does have the risk, almost everything does. Whether we are going on a trip, investing in some property, buying some stocks, selling a book, etc. Everything has risk, it's your decision in what you invest in. That's what going to make or break you. Right now, you are not going to be able to buy at a cheap price anymore.
9200  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Renewable Energy on: April 13, 2017, 02:38:03 PM
But can it be too late now? As we know, technology has gone so far that majority of word depends on fossil fuels, so is it too late now to switch to renewable energy? Will the Oil companies allow that?
It seems to me that the proliferation of renewable energy is unstoppable. As much money as spent on the development of these technologies will not allow to stop the movement in that direction. There is no turning back. If you have shares of oil companies it's time to sell them.

Yes that is true, and even solar energy is getting attention now and  day after day, solar panel prices is dropping down. This is good news, so that we can not rely purely on  fossil fuels that destroy our planet. Also wind energy is being utilized. I am also fascinating o some youtube videos about "free energy" but on second thought it might be scam. I hope this research on free energy will be documented properly and can be scaled up for mass production.
The future of fuels is not oil, because there are limited sources of oil and people are starting to see that more clearly. That is why everyday there are more and more wind plants and solar plants. With power plants that we use now, we only make damage to Earth. Future lies in alternative power production, which will be safer and not lethal from people and Earth it self.
Well, there are now alternative to fuels like the electric cars now. If we're talking about cars. Some people do agree with the power of just electricity, and it could be easier because you can get power in renewable energy sources. It's also beneficial to the earth, and we're not adding to the problem. If it were discovered or invented earlier, it would be mass adopted, and I hope it's taken everywhere soon. It's expensive, but it's worth it.
