921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 11, 2017, 08:31:10 AM
2018 will be the year of VR because we are evolving in every sector of the market and the future of entertainment industry will be Virtual reality and its environment. We have already seen giants supporting VR openly so the project definitely have future.

this project might have a future, but I don't think VR will be adopted as much to make 2018 a significant year. we're still a while away.

If the hardware requirements are met satisfactorily then I don't have any doubt in VR being the leader in entertainment business. I hope the ecosystem finds a solution for that.
the technology of VR equipment is now too expensive. But I'm sure that as the degree of development of this technology grows, the cost of equipment will quickly decline! At least, look at cell phones, they were expensive before, now every student has a phone.

Well, i have a feeling that cell phones are going the other way. After the release of smartphones, they got much more expensive but first the price had to drop in order to get that mass adoption as they have now.  I think the same will happen to VR, you need to make it affordable and popular before you can start making luxurious products.
But this will take time. Currently you need a big gaming PC to have enough power to run VR games. I hope this will be better in the future.
Game PC are getting much more powerful and efficient. In a couple of years you will be able to run VR on home pc and laptops

In a few years the mobiles will be powerfull enough. Imo the whole idea of VR/AR is to be portable so i don't see people running around with their pc's around their neck Cheesy

Smartphones - the flagships are already powerful. For example Samsung. As I wrote here before, you can directly get the VR glasses on your smartphone if you insert the smartphone into a special case and install the program. Well, the image will not be as good as when connected to a computer, but it's quite acceptable.

It's true you can get VR on smartphone, but it's not exactly immersive. we still have a way to go.

Nice, this project's sale seems to be going quite well. Lets see this round if it will do well to. Quite happy i got in first with the discount

What do you mean with exchange rates? is it already listen on exchanges?

nah man, it's the rate you can buy the token at in the ICO stage.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][Rentberry] – Decentralized Home Rental Platform on: December 11, 2017, 07:37:02 AM
This project caught my attention. This is one of a kind project. Actually this is the first time a saw this kind of platform. It will be convenient to those people who have struggles finding home rentals. I wonder what if the customer don't have your coin? They can still use actual money or currency as payment?

In fact, recently there was a very similar Relest project, but he could not raise money.

I'm interested in something else:
Partner with utility companies to give users the ability to pay the bills directly via Rentberry's platform.
Why is the most convenient service scheduled for 2020?

Wow I remember that I listened to Joe Rogans podcast with Andreas Antonopoulos a while ago and he was saying that he was paying his rent in bitcoin. It is going to become reality for the mainstream soon

not soon enough in my opinion. I'm glad so many projects are springing up around crypto.

Quick question here,
What are the value of this token?
And also is there any benefits for token holder?

they're selling it for 0.18 USD as far as I can see right now. the benefits is using the token on their platform.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][Rentberry] – Decentralized Home Rental Platform on: December 10, 2017, 05:00:03 PM
I've seen other projects that deal with renting , but not one was as seemingly of a complete solution like this one. good job.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SophiaTX Announcement - The Blockchain for Business on: December 10, 2017, 09:47:58 AM
Almost another 4 million Tokens sold since the second round started yesterday. So far the sale is performing very well.
SophiaTX TGE is performing exceptionally well. I just can't wait to see it listed on some exchanges

Speaking of exchanges. Is there already an Exchange confirmed that will list the token after the sales are finished?

We have announce our listing on Qryptos just before the TGE. As far as I know, there are plans for two another exchanges but we are still waiting for the deal to be confirmed and can be announced. Our token will be tradable before the release of our own network - so even in the form of ERC20.

It is nice that making an agreement with an exchange before ico end.

But qryptos has very low volume and very little known. I am not sure it will bring some positive to project.

at least it's not etherdelta. that exchanges is very user unfriendly.

To mass adopt the prices ned to go down and become more user friendly, htc vive has too many wires at the moment...

All of them are mostly wired clutter. I don't want wires to interrupt my pleasure with virtual reality and of course the price.

It will become cheaper, wireless at some point but tech is very new now. We must be patient.

Also there is too less content for it, an ecosystem for vr may bring vr to next level.

steam integration would be so cool. there are many VR titles there and the platform would benefit from it.

that's why I say the VR technology has a long way to go. it's still in the starting phase.

Was there any softcap for the TGE? I haven't seen it stated on the WP. Or I've just missed it?

You are right, there is no softcap for the TGE. The project will go on no matter what the sales results will be. Actually, the token sales are going pretty well, round 1 already sold out

I personally think that soft caps should be there as it shows really what amount of money they need for the product. Without it project owners seems greedy.

non-sense, even if no-one contributed the project would go on. how is that greedy? if anything it's opposite of greedy.

Nice, there is now a warning that you need an Ethereum wallet that supports SPHTX tokens Grin

If you could add a link directly to the guide in that warning, it would be perfect.

You should also add a warning on the KYC Check page. https://kyc.sophiatx.com/

yeah, you'd be surprised how many people still don't take heed about that warning.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SophiaTX Announcement - The Blockchain for Business on: December 09, 2017, 06:22:14 PM
Hello,

If we bought SPHTX tokens with BTC,  which exchange rate will be used for the conversion of BTC to ETHER? Is it the day rate  when the payment is received to SophiaTX or the day rate when ToKen are generated?

that's actually a legit quation. especially considering the volatility of the market nowadays.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 09, 2017, 06:21:19 PM
I am not sure hot long does it take for mainstream adoption of vr, but when that happens, these kind of projects have an advance since they were prepared it from a start.

I feel the same way. I think we're about 10 years away from that, but since projects like this are already there, they can steer the market.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 08, 2017, 03:16:19 PM
The scenario within a year is very unpredictable, one can not imagine in which situation the tokens will be received, many unforeseen events can happen, internal and external factors. Is there a form of guarantee, at least residual for possible losses in the long term?

So, the tokens will be tradable after a year? That's a very long waited then, especially for short period investors.

that's what I've been saying. it's gonna put off a lot of people. 1 year is an eternity in crypto time.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SophiaTX Announcement - The Blockchain for Business on: December 08, 2017, 12:49:51 PM
"1633015 tokens to be sold."

Very little tokens left for round 1. If my transfer was stuck on the network i would probably crying right now.

If you want to catch it before round 1 is over send dct or send eth with 60 or more gwei.
thanks for the information. This is not serious, it can not be that factors external to the ICO decide who enters to invest and who does not.

They don't decide, just clog the network increasing the fees. gotta pay to play i guess.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] MARK.SPACE - 3D/VR ecosystem on blockchain on: December 08, 2017, 12:45:51 PM
ICO will be in 2 stages? Why the second ICO in a year? The first stage will last more than a month?

Yes, we will have ICO in 2 stages. There are many reasons why second part of ICO is in a year from now, yet mainly it is because we do believe that in a year from now we will be able to present much more mature product. The first stage will last slightly more than month Jan 23 - Feb. 28

Actually I really like the idea of this 2 staged-ICO. Let's say they won't sell all tokens now because the platform isn't that far in development. With the second stage of the ICO the team then has a great incentive to speed up the development.

And for investors there is the possibility to regulate the risks a bit by maybe only investing a part in the first stage and then see how the whole platform is evolving. The "danger" for the investor here is of course that the first stage gets sold out completely or that the second stage will be muuuch more expensive.
I also think that is agood a idea to make two stages. Is common to get tokens more expensive as they are sold. ans in thsi case there's a time gap where you can see the improvement in the product.

yeah but people lose interest if they have to wait 1 year to get their tokens. that the real issue here.

finally my 2 ETH transaction went through... damn those crypto kitties...

hope to be in the first round Smiley

lets wait the tokens to be distributed Smiley

mine still stuck in the limbo and it also shows transaction not found on etherscan.

my bitcoin in limbo too, selected lowest priority in mycellium wallet

never select lowest priority man or it will never get processed.

So the token wont hit/enter the free market (exchanges) before the second ICO stage?

That's a long time to wait for the token to arrive. I think this may put off some people.

Now Ive participated in the tokensale Smiley

Great start on the fundraising, good work team!

Good for you! The token sale already sold more than 15.8k ETH in the first 8 hours alone. I think investors were waiting for this one. Smiley

really? these are some astonishing figures. Round 2 is about to start let's see how it goes.

there's 9 days left in round 1 and they've almost managed to sell out. just 3,5 mil tokens left.

I'm a fan of VR, so I want to get excited about this project, but how do you plan on running the ecosystem using blockchain technology? Which portion of the VR ecosystem will run there? Just the hosting? Could you explain more..

Also that demo is just interactive 3D photos/renderings. How is that virtual reality?

well it is a demo. the full version should have 3d space rendering for it to be qualified as true VR.
