921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when the market is full of red on: November 04, 2017, 06:09:34 AM
I often lose my temper when altcoins drop sharply.
And in general, I sell altscoin at the bottom
Don't sell at the bottom or in lose unless the coins that you hold or have is a kind of shitcoins that after a pump it will dump hardly. If the altcoins have a good future it is better to hold and buy more if you have.
I am not in favor of holding altcoins. They are just best for day trading or just trading because losing them is not going o put you in big loss. The coin your re holding is if new in the market and continuously staying in the red zone of graph, it is better to get rid of it than keeping it in wallet with a lame hope of making some profit with it. The best coin for holding is just bitcoin so far.
Yes a good statement at all. When one shitty coin is coming in red zones again and again then you don’t need to keep with you, rather just get rid of them. Reason is, all the altcoins are only for die trade as you said, so you can’t keep them on hold for a long time. Their market price is not that much stiff as bitcoin so don’t play with your profits coming ahead, leave them by selling.
That is always just the best way to treat a shitcoin.
Unless I notice some panky activities going on with a shit coin, I hardly bother myself holding them for too long even when they are at dips cause if anything happens, even the devs would dump theirs pretty fast, if they have not already.

It is best if you do not see much profit on them after a long while, sell them, or to always be very safe, never buy a shit coin without setting a profit loss.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbies on airdrop on: November 04, 2017, 04:04:34 AM
oops did not realise that being a newbie was such a bad thing  Sad
It wasn’t a bad thing until so many people started spamming the thread with newbie accounts and increasing the insanity related to spamming every single day. If you have your account, you can develop it as it does not take much time to become a member, and by then you should be able to participate. The reason why most of them are trying to go for member/full members and above is because it takes a lot to be able to maintain spam accounts up to that level.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My strategy for the next hardfork SEGWIT2X on: November 04, 2017, 03:41:06 AM
I don't know man, people are getting bored with a lot of forking recently, most of them are only looking for free money, people not really support the coin, it is a good idea to keep some btc to gained the free money and hunt for the  alt coin, usually near the forking the alt coin price will become unstable, three weeks is still a long way, all of the coin hasnt been affected by this forking and the traders still haven't taking any action
Honestly, more than bored already! It seems like every forked chain is pretty much like bullshit to me right now and it is best to just stick with the legacy coin. It started pissing me off the more when I heard there is even going to be a bitcoin silver fork by December. Is it not obvious some devs just want to be doing some hanky panky shit on the users.

But I believe this community must be enjoying these forks as we are all getting some free coins time to time on every forks. Then why we bother about getting bored.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO, still promising? on: November 04, 2017, 02:57:41 AM
Choosing the best ICO is a bit harder compared before. Since too many ICOs are coming out almost every week. everyone is claiming that they are the first in their claimed idea and so on. First you have to look if they have already come up with something. coz ICOs are way for scammers to just list all their ideas on the whitepaper and end up all are just promises to scam the investors. Look at a working and legit platform. Check all the team members. Some ICO just use random people  in their website and some investors  are too lazy to check out each one of them. Be wise on spending your hard earned money.
Yes, it is so hard these days looking at the number of ICOs and most especially the number of scammers on the loose, using the ICO thing to scam a whole lot of people.

You have to dig deeper and most times I just make use of the forum to find what some people are talking about to filter my research or make use of some websites as well.
You just have to find a way cause it is just like a very large ocean with plenty fishes right now.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any tricks available in gambling to won the bet? on: November 03, 2017, 07:06:06 PM
The key thing to win a bet is the right decision, i don't know they call this a trick or not but go the opposite bet with the crowd is the smartest choice. Cause the odds was given by the house will lead people to bet on a loss team. So don't do it will help you win the bet .
I guess you know that all still balls down to guessing right ?
There is no trick and it is either you win or you lose and the only trick to gambling is accepting that fact. It is only luck that would make you take the right step and then you end up winning as long as you have no idea what the outcome would become, it is still a guessing game and you just have to rely on your luck.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: November 03, 2017, 06:33:20 PM
whoelse would not be happy if you won in gambling, right? but personally aside from being happy there is always an excitement to play again and hoping that i will win again. that is why gambling is always an addiction because even if you are winning or losing the feeling of excitement is always there.

Not always. Some people are contented with what they've won and spend their time enjoying their winnings. I don't think about gambling again if i win. I immediately log out or leave the casino and enjoy.
This is usually like the best thing to do before one ends up being tempted on retrying one's luck all over again and then losing all.

Big winnings don’t usually come every time, so anytime you have it, it is just best to have plans for it and utilize it effectively so that you can keep having money coming for you from your investments and then you can keep gambling a little with what you have if you wish. This sounds more like a pretty cool way to utilize the cash anyway.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: November 03, 2017, 06:03:16 PM
I really like this game, almost every day i play. Because i see this slot game is very easy to use.
I wish i could get a big jackpot with a small betting capital, but i'm not really looking forward to it. Because this game is for me just for fun.

That is the most important thing - you should be gambling just for fun and that is what everyone should do. Because if you target or aim at profiting from gambling sites, better think twice especially when you are playing games that are based on pure luck!

Playing purely for fun could be a bit dangerous though. You could get drunk, have fun, and all of a sudden you've lost $100k. Not so fun anymore, eh? I think some limits, some realistic goals and common sense overall is needed. By all means, always try and have fun, but be realistic Cheesy.
Then I guess we just say you have fun and not get stupid at the same time. Gambling should even be something you do when you are in your right senses and drinking is something that takes that sense away from you and bring out the worst part of you and your decisions. That is just the truth.

I cannot really imagine myself drinking a whole lot and gambling, it is unwise and sometimes, it would just be crazy that you would not even know what you have done even when you are back to your right sense.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you learn from your gambling mistakes? on: November 03, 2017, 05:35:43 PM
I was actually like that before but I learned my lesson well. To the point that I borrow money from my friends but they didn't know it was for gambling. But I changed that habit, and honestly I don't even gamble anymore.
Really good for you that you realized quickly and decided to change the habit. Lots of people have got lost while trying what you did and recovering from it became bad.
Self control even at times like this is the only thing that can help anyone overcome some of those impulse that gambling brings and if we allow that impulse overcome us for a very long time, then that is where the problem starts.
929  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Exposed? on: November 03, 2017, 04:16:29 PM
A documentary here in the Philippines entitled: FAILON NGAYON have exposed Bitcoin as a type of scam.
It goes like this: a callcenter agent guy invested on one of the sh*tcoins here. He invested a fair amount of money into it as a promise projection of 50% gain for about 3 months. After 3 months have passed and he was about to withdrawn the money, support system from that UK based comoany was suddenly became unresponsive.
Financial analyst said that bitcoin is being used by some scammers to phish for money from users through untrusted sites.
I think that due to anonymity, it is very hard to track down those people who uses bitcoin for scamming.
For me, I think you just invest amount ofnmeny that you can afford to lose. Secondly, just transact with secured sites and not fall for get rich quick schemes because most likely thisnis a scam.
What are your thoughts on this?
I do not understand how that which the so called (whatever the media outfit name is) said has anything to do with bitcoin. Someone invested in an ICO that promised heaven on earth and you got screwed, does that concern bitcoin that has been up and running for over 7 years? NO!

You carelessly made a mistake by not securing your funds or entering your details into a phishing site and you got screwed by a hacker, does that have anything to do with bitcoin? Let's call a spade a spade!
930  Economy / Economics / Re: Yes or No? Doesn't Bitcoin unfairly benefit early adopters? on: November 03, 2017, 08:35:38 AM
It should actually be the opposit. It rewards the brave early adopters who decided to even in fact "throw away" their money for a random new project about some "weird internet money" that no one even expected to go that far. It shows that brave decisions pay off and you shouldn't be greedy when investing in new ideas. There are many new altcoins out there right now. You know that some of them will in few years be really big? They costs now a dollar, while they can go to thousands. I think it's about choosing and supporting a project that for real does something revolutionary.
Yeah, it took being brave to be an early adopter, something that not everyone had.
Many of us called it names, so many did not believe but some did. It seems unfair to them if we all at the end, ended up having equal advantage. It was a huge risk they took which is paying or has paid off for them now and when the time comes, most of us here too will be glad we did in upcoming years. That is just the way life work! First come, first serve! Unless you just got lucky.
931  Economy / Economics / Re: If the powerful governments wanted to, do you think they could stop Bitcoin? on: November 03, 2017, 05:38:11 AM
They could try by making their own version of bitcoin but it won't be enough to stop bitcoin. One way of killing bitcoin is to cut the internet access of everyone so there would be no transactions being made every second but that's unlikely to happen.
Well, internet has got past the stage where it can be cut off now as it will most definitely affect them too. Buying all bitcoin as well is already impossible and unless they are willing to wait for the remaining unmined bitcoin to keep buying, then no problem.

The thing is that it is too late and even right from the onset it is a disruptive scheme that has come to stay and in as much as they did all their best to frustrate the effort, it just kept growing and I am sure they have come to realize it is better they benefit than to keep attacking now that is still possible. God bless Satoshi! Grin
932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: November 02, 2017, 03:50:37 PM
I am not in favor of investing all the savings in bitcoin because if the price becomes too low it means that you will lose a lot of your investment and it is not good.

You must keep some money in your bank account because if the hard times start due to lose in bitcoin investment you will survive easily while having money in your local bank account. Otherwise you will be intense if you invest all the savings you have.
I am really not in favor too but everyone knows the level of risk they can take and apparently not all of us can.
We might say it is risky and then it ends up paying him and being worth it at the end and we might say it is not and then shit ended up happening.

I feel the decision is in everyone's hand once they have been able to understand what they are getting into.
After all, if I had take the bold risk to go all in as far back as 2010, I would have been worth a lot, and I would still not have bothered later on if anything had happen cause life obviously continues.
933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 02:56:18 PM
I always believe in diversifying my portfolio by investing my money in different products to minimize the risk of loosing money and bitcoin is a big risk to put all your money in it as the future of bitcoin is unpredictable and anything is possible in future and if bitcoin disappears then I will be loosing all my money at once
The way I see it now, it does not really seem the future of bitcoin is not possible anymore.
World powers are trying to see how they can make the best use of it and regulate it and that is something that would not die anytime soon except everyone just wants to back out.

Yes, we cannot know what happens in the next future, but with all the recent developments, I guess the future is possible and holding in bitcoin is less risky than we once had it.
934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: November 02, 2017, 02:02:51 PM
Most of us have a daily responsibilities.
How do you manage your time in trading and in bounty campaign as well as researching for the news and updates of your favorite altcoin?
We all know that jobs in the cryptocurrency are really time consuming. So time management is really important for us to make more money. We should know how to manage our time for us to finish all of our daily responsibilities.
They really are and you just have to find a way to maximize the opportunities to your advantage. Most times all you need to manage the moments and time is to see how you can always do each of the task better and effectively and plan them out.

Mistakes most people usually do is trying to multitask by doing everything all at once, and then realizing they have not been able to achieve anything. You have to plan each at a time, do it well and move to the next, which you can only do if you know how to manage your time.
935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: November 02, 2017, 01:23:18 PM
You can only be disappointed with crypto trading if you are impatient or havent done your research (or really if you just but shitcoins). Atleast that is how I feel.
well at first there are always thing to be considered one of that is the profit trading is not always a big profit in return sometimes it all goes parallel and sometimes we loose  but these all thing would happen because we dont own our disteny in this feikd of trading maybe we are not lucky on that they but if we have  patient there is nothing to be disapointed of.because those things are considerable.
The journey of a trader is full of such ups and downs. Sometimes he will earn huge profits or sometimes there will be loss. Even a trader might earn or lose small amounts that won’t affect his capital overall. So before really jumping into trading, a trader must have a good assessment of himself and develop survival skills like patience to decrease the chances of facing loss. Trading is all about taking risk but these are not blind ones.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: November 02, 2017, 12:17:01 PM
You must know bitcoin can survive because there are still many people who believe and still to using bitcoin. If nobody later buys automatic bitcoin the longer this coin will disappear from circulation.
People are using bitcoin and are welcoming it warmly because once a person enjoys the miracles of bitcoin they get obsessed with it, So, it is the currency which is long lasting and will replace the regular currencies in future because it is easy to invest and is providing good ways to earn money and is quick and easy to use.

It is providing comfort and multiple benefits which is very overwhelming. And it is the reason that people will not stop buying bitcoin.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: November 02, 2017, 09:18:28 AM
I believe that they're popular mainly because well it was the first of all cryptocurrencies to be made. Honestly most of the other coins are scams and greedy ways that the developers make money. The only other coin I can think of that isn't a scam are dogecoins! What do you think?

There are over a thousand of altcoins, so there are certainly some 'doubtful' ones. Although I don’t really think that most of altcoins are scams.
As for bitcoin, the answer is simple. It is the first and almost every newcomer won’t go for altcoins at the start, they will buy bitcoins. There are much more newcomers now rather than expert users, so this hype will continue for a long time, i think.
The reason is that it is the more promising currency ever. It is providing good chances to the people to earn more money and secure their future.

It is providing easy and quick ways of transferring, some educational institutions have started accepting tuition fee in bitcoin, its an area of great attraction for the investors. The more people are getting into it and its worth is increasing with time and is about to replace paper money in future.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRATIS or WAVES or ARK? on: November 02, 2017, 08:15:19 AM
Pretty much all over the forum i keep hearing good things about Waves and how they could be the next Ethereum. So, out of those three options i'd say Waves.
Yes. You are right mate! Waves is really having some development going on with it and the devs are doing pretty much some big jobs underneath.

It has had some pretty good years, no doubt but if all things end up working well for this coin and the development goes successfully as expected, then I expect something big coming for this coin in the next few months. Usually when bitcoin prices are on action, we cannot expect bit movements in altcoins. So, once bitcoin settle down we can expect waves to fly.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my airdropped tokens quickly or hold on to them? on: November 02, 2017, 07:52:21 AM
Airdropped coins are unnaturally getting higher values nowadays, I think it's better to sell them if they have high value and are already listed for more than a week.
I noticed that too but well, it is airdrop and I really do not have anything to lose. I just received an airdrop recently as I have never given a shit about them before, but I thought, whatever, after all, they are free and I have nothing to lose at all.

I am looking at keeping most of them anyway to even really see or prove my point if they end up shitty or not. I guess time will tell. Reading through some projects though, some seem to have some good idea.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: October 31, 2017, 06:35:56 PM
I'm happy to see my fellow gambler leave gambling already, i know what you feel man, gambling is really addictive and it's so hard to leave it alone. Me myself as a gambler also feel like that, can't leave gambling, i already trying so hard to not gambling but in the end i always coming back.

Maybe you should do what OP did, try to divert your attention to other things so you can forget gambling even little by little. It's hard to let go the things that we want and got addicted but if our will of change will drives us to a better one then we can do it. Yeah it isn't easy to do but eventually I know you can successfully eliminate it.
Always believe in this thing that there exist replacement for everything, whether it is some activity or a person. The suffering person just needs to make his mind and move on. We must be like water, always flowing.
Sticking at one place will eventually get us killed. In the past, we did not have many options but now this world is full of choices. We must never get attached to anything because in this word there is nothing permanent.
