Hey all. I have the opportunity to buy a gridseed miner for 220$. Let's say I wanna resell it, would I make any profit?
no . I can get them for 188 and so can you with zoomhash and paypal plus zoomzoom for the coupon. dont you need to buy like 10-20 for that price?

|

ive been having an issue with one of my miners and zoomhash quickly set up an RMA for me. excellent service!

good card, I have mine running solid at 810kh/s

I just spoke to gridseed today and they are willing to sell in bulk at a minimum of 500 units @ $158 USD per unit.
I know i dont have the trust or feedback to get this group buy started.. but would anyone be willing to jump on board to manage this that's trustworthy? this is a really good price per unit and I am sure buyers would be willing to pay for shipping.
That's like the price they have been charging from the start for bulk orders. You will get 'bare' miners though. No USB cables, no power cables, no individual packaging (they are per 10 in a box I think). Ya either 10 or 20 per box

just a bump for this guy.. ive ordered from mitty in the past, hes a stand up dude!

So $163 shipped or $163 plus shipping?
No:) The answer to an OR question is No? WTF. Option A: $163 Shipped Option B: $163 Plus Shipping Please Type A or B. Do Not type yes or no as it is not a yes or no question. Given this, I would steer clear of this one.. yeah wtf?! LOL "No:)"

For the life of me I can't seem to get these things to work on the cgminer GUI.
I am using clevermining and it won't even start. No output nothing.
I followed all the steps but no dice.
Any help is very appreciated.
Why not use dualminer GUI? Thanks. Ended up that the usbs just weren't getting recognized at first. hmmm I can only seem to get 3 of these things hashing at a time for any period of time on orico 10 port USB. anyone know of a good help thread? just the main thread under custom hardware are you using the DM GUI? what PLL are you using? Toggle switch is on L right? and LTC mode only is checked?

Question:
I made my own PSU connectors for my units with the barrel adapters and it seems like they are not working right.
I had some molex adapters I had leftover from my GPU's with 1 yellow, black, red cable for each adapter. I snipped the red cable and ran the yellow into the + and black into the - on the barrel adapter.
after plugging each adapter into a molex cable from my PSU the units fan turns on the the green light flashes, CGMiner registers the speed of each miner at 360kh/s but there are no accepted shares.
any idea?
I tried a standard power brick and it seemed to do the trick, now the units that are on power bricks are hashing away and the ones on the molex adapters are sitting there showing 360kh/s with fans spinning, green LED blinking, and no shares being accepted

So I fashioned my own power plugs with the barrel connectors and some molex adapters that came with my video card. Yellow In the + and black for the - then plugged them to a molex cable from my psu
They power my gridseeds but they don't get any accepted shares, I switched one to a regular power brick and it hashes and works fine. Any ideas?
Did you double-check that you are actually getting 12V out the end of the barrel plug? I had some weird things on mine. First off, I used exising power brick which has 5.5/2.5 and found it didn't fit very well, was very loose. I noticed that when I plugged in the USB, that the lights came on (red/blue) and I could see it in Windows and start cpuminer, but the fan wasn't running and also wasn't getting any shares. Tried re-positioning the barrel plug to get the fan working, restarted cpuminer and then it was working. Could be that it kinda looks like it's running just from USB only but unless you get good 12V on the barrel plug it won't run properly. I dont know how to check that? for mine they just flash green lights when I have them plugged into the molex adapters I made, they show up in CGminer just fine and show a speed of 360 each, but they dont actually start accepting shares. Is it possible that my molex adapters are not providing enough power? or the PSU's molex cable isnt up to par?

I am very confused, is the minimum 1 box of 20 miners? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ? How did -droid- get away with only buying 3 miners total? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) It was his initial 'trust' offering, to prove to everyone on the forums he's legit. ...and he is, I can vouch for him Since we had some issues with SF-Express shipping (only avail on the 3 and 5 pack when he first opened up shop) he's since stopped using their service and I think because of the shipping cost with other services he can only offer 20packs now to keep the prices down? but still, $165 each for a 20 pack is a smoking deal!
