921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this bad or good news? on: March 14, 2015, 10:38:25 AM
it is going to draw more attention to bitcoin, and that is going to be good as always. but about replacing bitcoin, i doubt it.

To much work has been put into bitcoin to be replaced by a new government issued crypto most people here are and kind of against the govt and its effort to enslave us financially, so the only users i believe it will possibly get are the ones who are only here for a quick buck and do not care for the ideology's most share. Agree that the more they promote against bitcoin the more people it will bring to the doors Smiley
922  Economy / Economics / Re: 2014: Do you think Bitcoin was the worst possible investment? on: March 13, 2015, 11:25:50 PM
This is only the beginning of Bitcoin. You cannot say it is a bad investment at today's price. In two years time, you will kick yourself for not investing more. Like some people here who wished they bought more at $30 two years ago.

Exactly just giving you 1 year charts what about how far it has come from pennies? still well in the green. Granted that year there was a lot of unlucky people who invested but that is the game you win some you lose some but the game is still being played so no it is not the worst investment possible, litecoin is lol To add i don't believe that Smiley
923  Economy / Gambling / Re: cryptocoins-dice.com vanished on: March 13, 2015, 11:16:33 PM
Another scammy site is gone? That is actually good news for the community. I hope that people do not lose much in deposits.
I wonder now if that site was rigged from the start and not 'provably fair" tho. I will remember to never keep any deposits anymore.

That would be a good idea on most sites not to keep deposits on there longer than you need to, it is to tempting for a lot of people to just take off although there are exceptions to this of course just look at how long they have been going who active the owner is what sort of person do they come across as etc etc. Agreed good news when the scams are over with and people can move on hope no one lost to much :/
924  Economy / Gambling / Re: cryptocoins-dice.com vanished on: March 13, 2015, 09:41:55 PM
wow i had 0.6 in there i withdrew last night

thius means i have good luck. gonna go bet now

Wow if that is true that is some seriously good luck lol surprised you got it though if the owner planned on doing a runner all withdrawals should have been canceled but at least it wasn't for you and you have some coin to go make a bet and i am sure win Smiley
925  Economy / Economics / Re: An easy way to make bitcoin worth millions of dollars on: March 13, 2015, 09:32:56 PM
Yes, it is possible.
Bitcoin should become mainstream.
It means that we need much more users and many more merchants accepting BTC.
But, there is no easy way to achieve millions of dollars and it's not realistic in short period of time.

Possible but seriously unlikely, even if it goes mainstream that does not give us a million dollar tag does it, at the moment there is no need for bitcoin if there is finally a need for it then we will reach thousands i am sure but million lol
926  Economy / Speculation / Re: What kind of money have people here made trading? on: March 13, 2015, 09:22:56 PM
Quote
On February 24, MtGox closed its website and announced that it had been hacked, again. This time, it had lost everything: the sum total of its bitcoin holdings were just 2000BTC, according to a leaked crisis document, while it owed customers around 750,000BTC.

This was insane 750,000 bitcoins owed to customers i bet it was crazy in this forum for months after that crap, so so sad the mark probably sitting in paradise on innocent investors money. He had it sorted after that i wonder if anything will ever happen to the horrible little man!?

I have not really made much threw trading maybe a btc or 2 but at least i have not lost stupid amounts trading or getting stolen from trying to trade
927  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: March 13, 2015, 09:12:11 PM
and the price skyrocketed to $50,000?
I certainly don't believe in my lifetime that $50,000 is going to happen. I don't think we're going to come anywhere close to $50,000. Heck, I don't even think we'll reach more than $5,000-$6,000.

Back in 2009: "I certainly don't believe in my lifetime that $10 is going to happen."
Don't limit yourself or what's possible.

You was around in 2009 but you have a 2014 made account?, i see. Your right and realistic 50,000 is not likely to happen but that does not mean it won't or can't just have to get a need for bitcoin for it to properly rocket but who knows what the future holds. If it went to 5-6 k i would cry because i would have sold at about 1000 Smiley
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins To Watch Out For This 2015 on: March 13, 2015, 09:07:14 PM
I say Mintcoin, Coin-Magi and Doge/Dogeparty will make a big impact this year.

But hey, what do I know?

What is it with mint coin can you tell us why you think that coin should be watched? Doge has lost 15-20% this year not sure that will have any impact this year. If you really want a coin to watch out for how about Bitbay the ebay of crypto currency but that uses smart contracts and no fee's? Now that is one to watch out for also E-cash 8% daily stake has potential if you just want to make some extra coin Smiley
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this bad or good news? on: March 13, 2015, 08:48:46 PM
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-value-gets-boost-fed/

IBM AND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ARE NOW ON THE CRYPTO CURRENCY BANDWAGON AND IT SAYS THIS WILL "REPLACE" BITCOIN,NOT THAT THAT IS POSSIBLE BUT THIS IS BAD RIGHT?

No chance it will really replace bitcoin, any attention is good news.

This is right the more they will try to knock and down grade bitcoin the more people will look and that is only good news because once they look i doubt they will be looking away back towards the government and its regulations. It is said a lot but i believe it all publicity is good publicity so let them do whatever they want and we just keep going Smiley
930  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have USD 2000 to invest. Should I buy Bitcoins or gold? on: March 13, 2015, 08:44:55 PM
Bitcoin in theory should be a more risky investment, but with risk comes big rewards. With Gold you are going to be bored aiming for a small increase in wealth in the next decades. With Bitcoin it's uncharted territory, it's an open field.

This is a good point you can only make so much with gold and that is not a lot, but when you invest in bitcoin the sky is the limit and of course middle earth is also the limit but that is what makes it interesting to me the fact it can go either way but to an extreme and not just bore you with sideways for years. I would invest 2000 in btc but you are your own man. good luck

I pmed you

Hi!
I saw ur pm but i dont need to change,  I give the service..
Ty for ur interest. Ill go bitstamp price plus 5/8%
I don't understand why people would want to pay a premium for an LTC/BTC trade when they can just use one of many exchanges

I don't understand either, one can simply use instant exchange such as shapeshift.io, which don't even require users to make an account.

Either I dont understand why people buy eggs when they could have a chicken!
