Its working for me now, i downloaded old fastpackDopeCoinV3 blockchain (04/10/2015) https://mega.co.nz/#!kFchTSaJ!0qb_x7bHtkd1GnhGg-sCXGQqqdpgx7UA3NdRgXjpZkg starting at 53 percent is allot better than 2.25 percent. Starting up your dopecoin wallet takes a while after you install either of the fast packs. Difficulty has plummeted down to 0.08 so synching with the rest of the network will be allot quicker. I highly recommend the new people download one of the fast packs (old one worked for me). Glad to hear! Yes, its a bit tricky sorting it out. Mine starts right up now with the fast sync pack. |

I keep getting an error with my blockchain, so I deleted everything but my wallet and downloaded faststart.zip
Now it's stuck about 195 days behind. Is there a more recent blockchain I can download?

The most important thing is the active dev team and to have some ongoing projects to enhance the features. Advertising and marketing is the key, which will spread the coins and get awareness.

Ok, I've updated the nodes I can using the new faststart pack anybody stuck below block 800,000 please download the new fast start pack to catch up and get on the right chain, after fast start you may need to do a "repairwallet" in the console to get all your coins back that were staked on the wrong chain

oh cool, I didn't realise that about posV thats pretty awesome and yes the wallet runs a bit heavy so having that many chunks/deposits might increase it, I guess we'll find out soon enough. I'm just waiting for mine to come out of stake so I can start breaking mine up into a new wallet. POSV has worked very nicely for Dopecoin. I highly recommend getting into coins that does this. I love getting the little dividends for the 'stash' |

This is naive, at best. Bitcoin was never made to be a get-rich-quick scheme. It's a method of transferring wealth. If it were a guaranteed way to profit, every hedge fund/investor in the world would be all-in on it. Hint: it's not guaranteed, and it's HIGHLY risky. How is it naive ? I deleted all files in data filder, except wallet.dat and it works great for me but command "repairwallet" was needed.

There's so many coins now, its hard to get out there. Do giveaways, try to put the name out there as much as possible.

You should more attractive on social media, like twitter for example, you can held a some twitter campaign it will attract more people but you need to filter to who want to join a campaign, choose a people who have a lot followers related bitcoin and you service, and filter their account, it's means for avoid a people who use a bot for their followers.
And held some features which can makes your community more fun, for example people will be happy if there are have some giveaway, so held it.
