Can you even imagine the difficulty and demand for miners with a $10k coin?

Maybe IBMs next OS will have required online and a mining program built in. There's their block chain. Otherwise if they control it in-house its not decentralized and pointless.

I have been using bit lending club. No defaulted loans so far. 10 loans paid back.

The price will double at minimum and miners will remain profitable.

I was in the same boat sorta. Im worried I'm not computer savy enough to get the most out of mining. Instead I decided to get into the p2p lending. I'm using bitlendding club. Started with 2 btc spread across 12 loans. I earned $34 in my first month and am now increasing my investments.
The free electricity is nice but you will blow circuits with multiple miners imo. I'd run just 1 miner and I bet you can slip under the radar.

Just my theory. It happened this way at the last halving. It will happen again. It will become more real to people at less then a year. Miners will start to price it in to there sells. People will start to hoard again anticipating a price increase. There will be more adoption in general. The prophecy will self fufill.

There needs to be a clear reason given to people as a reason to adopt and use bitcoin over credit cards.

April 15th is tax day in the US but means nothing anywhere else. Any big news would of been leaked by other people by now if this guy knew something. Nothing will happen.

Marketing. Need to educate people that its not for criminals. Need to have merchants that accept it give a discount so the people have a reason to use it over a credit card.
