921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 17, 2023, 09:42:46 PM
After being loaned out to Bayern Munich, Joao Cancelo will face his old team, Manchester City, in the UCL quarterfinal match. It will undoubtedly be difficult to witness the tie. Both Pep Guardiola and Julian Nagelsmann are good coaches who understand how to cope with competitive elite clubs. Betting on the game is challenging because both clubs are well-versed in the champions league, and their performances are magnificent and amazing with top-notch players.
This will be an emotional encounter for Joao Cancelo playing against City in the UCL quarter final. I am not so sure whether he will feature in this game but I am expecting a very interesting and entertaining game between this two giants and it just so unfortunate one of them will have to progress to the next round ahead of the other. I am definitely stacking my bets on Manchester City to progress to the next round.

Madrid can't lose for anyone at this crucial point....I'm solely a Barcelona fan, but I can't dare to guarantee a win against Madrid.
As at the last match, everything went wrong when Barcelona took possession on the ball and -- after all they tried, it was impossible to make a goal -- then, just at the closure of the match, an own goal came from militao... That was a pretty big flop.
Since these is a different tournament entirely, they'll have to keep their finger crossed -- let's assume they are able to defeat against Bayern, then they'll have to Play finally against Napoli.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
Real Madrid have been the most consistent team in the last 6 years in regards to the champions league and this season they are fired up as usual for the Champions league title. History is about to be repeated again this season, The same way Real Madrid eliminated Chelsea and Liverpool last season. Real Madrid have already defeated Liverpool and now been paired to eliminate Chelsea. This is so interesting, I will be keeping my fingers crossed and anticipating the return of the champions league games.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 17, 2023, 12:01:12 AM
Napoli played well in both matches against Frankfurt. They won the first leg 2-0 and the second leg 3-0. And they qualified for the quarter finals of the Champions League. Now the Napoli players will be more confident. Napoli will play an away match against Torino. And Napoli are more likely to win. Napoli won the home match against Torino 3-1. Napoli are in a very good position in Serie A. And the Serie A title is almost certain for Napoli. And so now Serie A matches are not very important for Napoli. Even so, Napoli are unlikely to drop points against Torino.
Napoli have earned themselves a position in the league, it seems they have secured the trophy already. With the current form at which they are going, it will be difficult for any other team in the Seria A to overtake them in the race as they have maintained consistency this season. No doubts Napoli are top favorites to win the trophy this season.

Barcelona might be selling Frenkie de Jong this time to Manchester United or Chelsea in the summer.

The price is said to be 70 million pounds now. For de Jong I think both of these teams would still be willing to pay this amount. He is a really skilled young midfielder now. But he is still one of the important players in Barcelona's lineup also. Xavi is really contented with his performance and he wants to see him in his team. In this situation it might be really difficult for the English teams to sign him. de Jong also seems happy with being a part of Barcelona as he is a regular in the lineup.

It seems Manchester United still have their mind set on bringing Frankie De Jong to the club despite getting disappointed and all approach turned down by the player in the summer they still want to try again. Frankie De Jong is a very talented player who obviously matches the hype so it's no surprise why Manchester United are bent on having him on their team.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 16, 2023, 09:40:52 PM
Most chances current or new management will not sack Jürgen Klopp because they all know how things were difficult in this season with injuries and few players were not able to perform their best even right now they are still had chance for the Champions League which is challenging, but they still can achieve this target if they are able to fix their problems in last few years Klopp done amazing stuff here, so just one season is not solid reason to sack him from this job as he still can do things at their best in near future.

Currently, they are having next three matches which will decide can they achieve their fourth spot or not because they are going to visit Manchester City then Chelsea and hosting Arsenal all tough matches in coming weeks if they will have good results then surely Tottenham and Newcastle United will be under pressure otherwise they have to wait for the next season to be better and have their spot into top four now April is surely going to decider.
I think if Jurgen Klopp was to be sacked it would have happened a long time ago when Liverpool were recording back to back losses in the premier league but the management were very patient with Klopp. I doubt a sacking Klopp will be an option now that the team are playing better and gradually gaining momentum. I think Klopp will be around until the end of the season.
926  Other / Meta / Re: Should the forum stop advertising mixers? on: March 16, 2023, 08:54:49 PM
I think a more concerning question is “should we be worried about what we post here?”
Bitcoin is not illegal and neither are Bitcoin mixing platforms, no one should feel they are doing something shady when interacting with any of them.
The government is anti bitcoin and are using every trick in the book to discourage bitcoin. I think bitcoin mixers are about to face a lot of heat. There’s nothing stopping the government from going after other bitcoin mixers. Private cryptocurrencies like Monero and Dash may face similar problems in coming days.

So, no, we should not be worried about what we post here.
Of course if you're sharing illegal content and violating forum laws and government laws, such user should be worried, but others should be allowed to interact freely without limitations.
The forum has always taken care of itself, illegal activities and scams are handled with red tags on the account. I’m concerned about the extent to which the government is willingly to take this case, if they decide to go after the signature participants (which I doubt they will), bitcointalk data will have to be shared with them for this purpose to be achieved.
927  Other / Meta / Re: Should the forum stop advertising mixers? on: March 16, 2023, 07:53:18 PM
Chipmixer is the hot topic this week and everyone seems to have a strong opinion on the matter.  It is obvious the government are hell bent on taking down bitcoin, and cannot be in favor of bitcoin mixers. This was going to happen at some point. It’s interesting that Chipmixer wasn’t accused of scamming but on money laundering charges. My major concern right now is the sanity of the forum, I see this forum as very private because nobody uses their real names or pictures and there is absolute freedom of speech. Imagine my surprise to see a old bitcoin post being referenced in the article. I think a more concerning question is “should we be worried about what we post here?”
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanging large amounts of BTC for FIAT on: March 16, 2023, 04:00:06 PM
Hello everybody.
A friend of mine has a problem and unfortunately they need to exchange BTC for FIAT and then withdraw the money to their bank account.
My friend has an account in Binance, but he asked me if I thought it was safe? Binance in my opinion is, like every exchange, a piece of sh... So, is there any other way to go about doing what he needs? I even thought of sending him FIAT and letting him send me BTC, because I don't plan to sell my BTC soon.

Notes:
1. When I say safe, I mean regarding the fact that exchanges are unpredictable and suddenly they decide to halt transactions. I don't mean anything about taxation etc.
2. He may have to trust an exchange after all, I know and he knows that...
I think your friend knows little about bitcoin and looks up to you for advice in this area. He wants to do something as simple as exchanging bitcoins to fiat, since he already has the bitcoins in an exchange he could have used the Binance p2p service, it’s safe and reliable. It’s a cheaper option than withdrawing the bitcoins to a different wallet because Binance charges a withdrawal fee. What’s the point of storing bitcoins in an exchange if you do not use the p2p service?
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Because of the love I have for bitcoin on: March 16, 2023, 10:26:47 AM
tell them how we are coming up with a welcome development how the supermarket will soon start accepting bitcoin as means of exchange
From your previous topic; Bitcoin as means of exchange in happy day supermarket I have to believe you already implemented bitcoin payments in your supermarket even though the pictures provided gives no indication that the supermarket actually accepts bitcoin. The Supermarket looks small and can’t possibly have more than two workers, training two persons on how to send and receive bitcoin shouldn’t be a problem.

First you have to work on building a relationship with your siblings, before coming at them with bitcoin investment or bitcointalk forum. They wouldn’t pay you no mind because y’all aren’t in the best of terms. Family can be difficult, especially a polygamous one. Everyone suspects the other person means them harm, even if that wasn’t the case I still wouldn’t recommend you mix business and family. It won’t end well in my opinion.
I have read threads about people asking similar questions or already doing what you have in mind.

I managed to convince my senior dad to invest in BTC
I helped my dad bought some Bitcoin last night
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I keep money in the bank or buy bitcoins? on: March 15, 2023, 02:54:17 PM
If you do not have immediate plans for the money then stacking bitcoins is a good idea. We can praise bitcoin all day but there are downsides to this as well, bitcoin is volatile and is unpredictable, while the bank interests of a savings account may be small, for bitcoin it may take longer that you think before you get x2 of your capital. If a bank gets robbed, your money is insured by the bank and the robbery doesn’t affect your money. For bitcoins, if you lose your private keys or store your bitcoins in a centralized exchange or closed-source wallet you stand the risk of losing all your bitcoins with no hope of refund. One of the best things about bitcoin is that you get to be your own bank, but it is a responsibility that some people do not handle well.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 14, 2023, 07:58:36 PM
Interestingly Arsenal will be away to Manchester City headquarters. As you said, Arsenal must end their bad record against Manchester City, this match was one of the toughest for Arsenal between the matches against Chelsea and Liverpool. I hope Manchester City can win the game, the three additional points from Arsenal will make the competition for the premier league title even more exciting.
Arsenal must not lose points in light games when facing a weak club, Arteta must maintain the opportunities they have in their hands from Manchester City. Meanwhile, Manchester City will continue to try to catch Arsenal until the last game.

Arsenal have been the most consistent team in the EPL this season. Manchester City have much experience in competing for the league trophy and this is the first time most of the players in the Arsenal squad are actually getting a shot at the league title. So many people want to see Arsenal drop out of the race but I think Arsenal have had a bit of luck this season and even when they lost 8 points lead they still got back 5 again. I also want to see Manchester City's dominance over the league come to an end.

933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin to local communities/villagers on: March 13, 2023, 07:02:31 PM
And it is glaring that you are introducing Bitcoin to them as a get-rich scheme because you are introducing it to them as an immediate source of income.
But I am elated when I see people invest time and resources to promote or introduce bitcoin to people. At least some people have known the currency called Bitcoin. Good try OP.
That’s what I’m worried about. The approach to teaching bitcoin to newbies matters, especially when introducing the concept to people who are desperate to escape poverty. They will want to make an investment right away without taking time to verify what they are told because they want to be rich. I think OP should start with a smaller group, that way it will be easy to communicate and monitor their progress.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 13, 2023, 10:01:05 AM
Marco Asensio will probably think of a controversial move to joining Real Madrid rival Barcelona this summer this because he felt Madrid has disrespect him and if i am not mistaken this season Asensio only played 11 times and mostly as substutions player which is this situation makes he didn't comfortable to playing on Real Madrid anymore although few months ago Real Madrid offering new contract to him but he is still not sure whether to accept the offer from Real Madrid or not

And if this rumours is true i think good advantages for Barcelona because he will arrived as free transfer status and Asensio could be the replacement of Raphinha if this player will be sell this summer

As a professional player I think he should understand how this things work especially when you play for a team who have many options in same position it is only understanding that the squad will be rotated to give players chance and when you fall down the hierarchy, you just have to work on improving yourself and fight for your place. That is the kind I mentality I expect Asensio to show.

Manchester city is rumored to be offering a contract extension for Julian Alvarez until 2028. As we know, Julian Alvarez's contract is actually long until 2027, but the club wants to tie him up with an additional year and the salary offer will also be increased. Coach Pep Guardiola is very pleased with Julian Alvarez and does not seem to want any other club to try to approach him.

Source: https://en.as.com/soccer/manchester-city-want-to-give-julian-alvarez-a-new-contract-n/
I think he has made an impression on the management and there is no better way to show satisfaction with his performances than offering a new and improved deal to keep him at the club for further years and it seems Manchester City are already taking that bold step to making it happen.

Sunday's transfer gossip:

Paris St-Germain could make a move to sign Erling Haaland from Manchester City and team up the Norway striker, 22, with France forward Kylian Mbappe, 24. Haaland and Mbappe together? What would that look like? It seems to me that PSG is making the same mistake again, they spend a lot of money on very expensive players, big stars, but in this way they cannot create a top team and win the Champions League, which is their ultimate goal.
But Mbappe is still keen on a move to Real Madrid, with the PSG player's representatives telling the Spanish club he still wants to join them and regrets signing a new contract at the Parc des Princes.  Grin So what will happen in the end? It seems that at the moment all the big stars want to leave the club. The owners of PSG will once again have to invest a lot of money to keep their biggest stars, but again with no guarantee that they will finally become the best club in Europe.

Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland on same team would be mind-blowing but with Mbappe's ego and lifestyle I doubt he will want to entertain such competition and will rather want to move to Real Madrid if Haaland is arriving PSG. I think until PSG gets the perfect fit in a coach they will be able to fight to the finals of the Champions league.
936  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Common red flag to detect a scam on: March 12, 2023, 12:46:07 PM
Still a good percentage of people will ignore these red flags even though it’s in their face. Scammers aren’t very creative, they are just really good at selecting their victims. Scammers use the same trick, a profile of a beautiful girl or a successful trader who has fleet of luxurious cars and houses always seem to get people to put their guard down when in reality it should be a red flag. I think some people only learn the hard way.
937  Economy / Economics / Re: less risk or big profit? on: March 12, 2023, 10:09:33 AM
I agree with wajik-tempe, cash flow is very important in building wealth and investments in rental properties give a steady monthly cash flow which you can reinvest in another property. I love real estate, it’s a good way to build wealth if you know what you’re doing. There are ways you could buy rental properties without using any of your own money. Unfortunately, we don’t have such luxury with crypto investments.
938  Economy / Economics / Re: With the present economic outlook, do you think that this is good advise? on: March 12, 2023, 06:41:36 AM
It’s good advice. Not is everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur, it takes more than knowledge to manage a business. I think young grads should research the top earning industries and learn a new skill that can help them transition or leverage their degree in that industry. Internships are also a good way to start one’s career. Don’t focus on the layoffs, companies are hiring.
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin to local communities/villagers on: March 11, 2023, 08:46:11 PM
You wrote a lot of words without actually saying anything. I honestly do not believe this story, just another newbie who thinks this is way to fish merits. The images show no indication that the gathering was for a bitcoin lecture or seminar. The environment is not even conducive for one. The so called “crypto gurus” you invited from the city should be more experienced and know how to manage seminars. I really think this was an attempt to fish merit, nothing more. If this story is true, I would be worried about what information was given to the villagers, I really hope they don’t get scammed.
940  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter becoming Worlds biggest Financial Institution? on: March 10, 2023, 06:19:04 PM
To be honest! I don't entirely believe Elon Musk because of his inconsistent behaviour and comments. He is definitely a big supporter of cryptocurrency but what he is doing with Twitter and the way he is firing people, is not good!

He might have big plans for Twitter but as of now I don't see a possibility for Twitter to become a financial service provider. He will face a similar kind of roadblock that Mera faced with their stablecoin project. Legal challenges need to be solved first.
Come on guys! Google, Amazon, Facebook, and every other tech companies are laying off employees. Why is it so terrible when it concerns Elon Musk? I think every now and then Elon Musk says some random stuff just to seek public attention and it works. The world is so focused on what next Elon Musk is going to do. It’s true Elon Musk is a unpredictable character and almost childlike, the only thing he’s been consistent at is his goal to have a human colony on Mars.
