921  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: March 17, 2022, 05:40:07 PM

If you can sacrifice your luxury in life then Bangladesh or India can be affordable with small living costs.
No kidding?  I'm friendly with a few guys who own small stores in my area who are from Bangladesh, and I always ask them about it.  Their accents are very thick and their English isn't great, so it's hard to understand them sometimes, but I enjoy chatting with them.  They've got wicked senses of humor, much like many of the Indians I've met in the US.  I never asked them why they immigrated here--and I probably shouldn't, but I'm curious now.

Bangladesh is a developing country. Monthly income here is way less than in most of the western countries. So many people go out of the country who seek luxury and a western lifestyle. It's very common here and a large quantity of Bangladeshi who are immigrants in the west are students or political refugees. As long as you are not doing something against the current govt you have nothing to worry about. For being a developing country political instability is common here too. But I can assure you most of the Bangladeshi people are very hospitable towards foreigners and treat them as a guest.

If you ever come to Bangladesh be my guest.

That tells me that there's something to it, because there's no way father, sons, mom, and whatever grandparents are still alive would be bounty hunting if it weren't at least a little bit lucrative.  So I'd love to know how far campaign earnings ($1500 per week for 5 people in my example) could be stretched.  Are there actually places out there where one could not only survive but thrive by earning bitcoin on the forum?

If you can sacrifice your luxury in life then Bangladesh or India can be affordable with small living costs. For being an agricultural country food is pretty cheap here. You can afford and eat a healthy diet and enough food with just 100$ per month for an individual. Another 100$ for your house rent and transportation cost but it's in a small town where no pollution and traffic jams can annoy you. If you want to stay in a metropolitan city then you have to double that amount.

If you can add another 100$ then your life will be a luxury here. I do not need any data to show you because I am telling you this from my personal experience.

<and how does one go about getting citizenship?>

Naturalization is permitted by the Citizenship Law of Bangladesh. Any adult of good character who is married to a Bangladeshi and residing legally in Bangladesh for a period of five years; competent in the Bengali language; and intending to reside in Bangladesh can apply for naturalization.
923  Economy / Economics / US warns India over oil deal with Russia on: March 16, 2022, 10:08:40 AM
White House Press Secretary Jane Sackie said, "We believe that India will not violate US sanctions by buying oil from Russia through discounts." However, he warned India that such a move would lead the world's largest democracy to the wrong side of history.

India's largest refiner, Indian Oil Corporation, bought 3 million barrels of crude oil from Russia, Reuters reported on Monday. This is the first such transaction since Russia launched an operation in Ukraine on February 24. Indian officials also told Reuters that Delhi could accept Russian offers for oil and other products at a special discount.

924  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanction the the right option? on: March 14, 2022, 06:39:14 PM
You do realise that you are actually indirectly supporting the Nazis to some extent, don't you? Hitler and his pathetic Nazi cronies tried to take revenge and got screwed royally in the process.

Do you really think Russia and Putin are foolish enough to make similar mistakes? I don't think so. Personally, I don't completely support these sanctions since they are hurting innocent Russian citizens who don't support the war.

However, I can understand why so many countries are putting pressure on Russia in this manner since they all want the war to end asap through these sanctions.

I am not supporting Nazis. I am just asking isn't there is any other alternative that we can use to punish Russia instead of putting sanctions on them. Right now Russian people don't support war with Ukraine but if they lose their economy they might hate the west as well.
925  Economy / Economics / Sanction isn't the right option on: March 14, 2022, 04:40:10 PM
It is true that economic sanctions may break the backs of many countries. The country will become poor, maybe try to be self-sufficient, if it can, it will be able to survive, but it will not be able to shout at all. However, these theories may apply to Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea. But what happens when you try to play this kind of game with superpowers?

The greatest lesson of history is that no one learns from history. The same thing that is being done with Russia today is being done with Germany. Following Germany's defeat in World War I, Germany was burdened with a huge debt burden of about 269 billion gold coins. In terms of money, it is equivalent to 1 lakh tons of gold. The sole purpose of imposing this huge debt was that France and Britain wanted Germany to break the economic deadlock and not even think of war for the next hundred years. A master plan to subdue Germany without a war.

The problem is, only the weak die in the rice without hitting the hand. If you want to kill someone who has a sword in his hand, he will snatch the rice from you.

This humiliating chapter of the Treaty of Versailles provoked widespread outrage inside Germany. The Allies were to blame for Germany's economic woes at the time, and the people were agitating. When Hit-Lar finally came to power, he completely refused to repay the loan.

This debt burden and all the degrading chapters of the 1st Treaty of Versailles led to the rise of extremism in Germany. By capitalizing on which, the national hero becomes a hit-and-run offensive. Those who pushed for the treaty rather than cripple Germany seemed to invite more rather than avoid war through the treaty. Everyone knows the history of violence in the rest of Europe.

The context is not exactly the same, but how realistic is it if the West thinks that Russia will continue to weaken the economy by quietly imposing sanctions on this huge military power? It is possible to put pressure on Russia on various issues if we have economic relations. But when Russia is left completely helpless, will they apologize to the West as helpless? It is difficult to believe that Russia will do that with such a huge military force. When the Russians turn from angry to extremist against the West over Russia's problems, there may be a repeat of what happened in Germany. Which will devastate Europe.

They concede that the attempt to economically cripple Germany at the end of World War I was suicidal, which is why German leaders were tried after World War II but no attempt was made to harm the German nation. But they want to do the same thing with Russia again. It remains to be seen whether the outcome will be the same again or not.

928  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why putin choose winter? on: January 27, 2022, 08:55:48 AM
and I think this is the same reason Russia needs Ukraine too. Ukraine has many important military infrastructures due to its being part of the former soviet union. Russia just wants to make sure those can not get in the hands of the USA or their Allies nations.

Um... here you may have a point, but I'm not that much convinced. It's super outdated technology there and whatever "secrets" would be there, I'm almost sure that those were sold to all the interested nations long ago. And Russia knows that, so I don't see a real benefit there. And the actual devices... they may very well lay in rust...

Apart from geostrategic or economic value, Russia's interest in Ukraine is elsewhere.  Putin wants to restore some of Russia's old glory he lost during the Cold War.  Russian officials have denied any possible invasion in Ukraine, but the removal of US diplomats from Kyiv and the deployment of troops and S-400 along the Russian-Ukrainian border indicates a possible invasion.

However, even if Russia occupies all of Ukraine, it is unlikely that the EU or the USA will be involved in the war. Germany denied helping Ukraine with weapons.
929  Economy / Economics / Re: One nation one currency... on: January 26, 2022, 07:18:01 PM
From the beginning of humans, we have created boundaries between ourselves by lots of conflict over the century. Our greediness and eagerness for more power make us intelligent animals. Humans are capable of their own destruction. But what if those never happen? what will be the scenario of the current world if there is only one nation and one currency and humans invest their full strength for human resource development and the development of science and technology? What do you think is that even possible in the future and what will be the benefits and inconvenience of it?

Necessity is the mother of all discovery. Human won't be technologically superior if there wasn't any conflict between them. Because of was humans made such discovery that was not only help to win the war but also benefited them many ways too. Nuclear energy was discovered and used for destruction but now we are using it for energy. If you look at the history then you will see most of the technological advancement happens when the world seen war.

I am not saying war is good so that we would see more technological advancement but what I said is the reality..

931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What michael saylor will do? on: January 24, 2022, 12:55:42 PM
As we all know that Michael Saylor brought a lot of BTC for more than one year and his average buying price of BTC is around $31k. Now BTC is trading around $33k which is pretty much near to his average buying price. Recently he said that "Never. No. We're not sellers," he said. "We're only acquiring and holding bitcoin, right? That's our strategy."

From previous market crash in 2018 we saw BTC dumped more than 70% from its ATH and if this time same thing happens BTC price could touch 20k. In the worst case scenario if history repeats again and BTC crash to $20k then what could be Michael Saylor action? He will be able to remain steadfast in his goal?
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / One of the largest centralized blockchain networks will be fail? on: January 23, 2022, 06:46:43 PM
Quote

1. Solana suffered from network overload due to bots spamming the network again this weekend.
2. The congestion prevented DeFi users from adjusting their collateralized positions as prices crashed, resulting in widespread liquidations.
3. Solana has faced similar issues on multiple occasions in recent months. It's aiming to resolve the issues in its new releases.

Many Defi and NFT projects have made Solana their base ground for the high gas fees of the Ethereum network.  The Solana network easily became everyone's first choice for high transaction speeds and nominal fees.  But Solana network has been in congestion issue several times since 2021.  While many thought that Solana would be a good alternative to Ether network or BSC Congestion problem but the same problem has arisen in Solana too.  Will one of the largest centralized blockchain networks finally be able to solve the problems of Eth Network and BSC or will it also appear as a failed project?
933  Other / Meta / Re: Another "Legednary" newbie on: January 23, 2022, 06:29:31 PM
It is about time to post another "amazing" "Legendary" newbie with "big" contribution to the forum.

They've been around for quite some time, earned over 1200 activity with their 4540 posts, but unfortunately only 0 Merit since June 22 of 2018, otherwise they could be a 100% Legendary in only 2 more activity rounds but instead they stuck on "newbie" for almost 4 years.

Hope the guy won't get me wrong, I don't mean he is a bad guy in any way... it's just statistics.
So Here I present to you.

He has been doing bounty for a long time and bounty workers do not post much in other sections of the forum as it may lead to ban their account.  Creating new account changing the username of social media to changing wallet address is a hassle of time.  If moderators stop banning low quality posts, they may be encouraged to post in other sections and at some point the quality of their posts will start to improve.

Do these people still make a decent amount of money on altcoin bounties in the first place? Like, I get it that these people most likely own multiple accounts, but last time I checked most of these bounty projects end up giving tokens that are worth nothing, or even end up not paying a single token at all.

I know they don't get much from a bounty project but its better than nothing. I have checked many hunters social media and found out most of them from Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Russia. Unemployment problem is very high in those places so i think this low paid campaign also give them some money to live.
