I wouldn't just jump to conclusions right away. We did know, those were possibly AK's IP a few days back. I am sure espringe would have something else to support his claim.

Cloudbet is a great site, but having multiple accounts(if this is the case) should not entitle cloudbet to keep the entire funds of the user. The only abuse that can result from the multiple accounts is the use of points to get some rakeback, for which you have to gamble like 5-6 BTC to get 0.01-0.02 back. Once the 750 points are reached you get rakeback only once, and thats it. This is the reason users play through multiple accounts. If Cloudbet doesn't like it, they should simply return the funds and ban the user from playing further, and not seize the funds.
I had a similar issue once . I wasn't aware I can't create duplicate accounts. I had forgotten details to my original account, and created a new one. I created a new one and played without any issues. I took a break for a week, and next time I logged in it was fine, but as soon as I deposited around 0.5 Bitcoins to the site , and tried logging in the next day , I couldn't. It seemed they had banned my account and had taken my funds. I found a trick to log in, and was able to withdraw my funds. I still can't log in straight and have to do it to be able to log in and play. Hi caga, We did not ban you for multi-accounting, nor did we confiscate any funds. I actually did contact the support but got no reply ever, and never bothered to contact again, as I could log in the other way. I never knew if it was the IP which was banned or my account was banned. But, I really think you have no right to confiscate funds just because people create duplicate accounts. If you are so worried about people taking advantage of the bonus system, then you should take it out. |

I am glad I just had 0.2 BTC in the last recent days. I had over 2 BTC on the site just a week before, but cashed out. It is possible that the identity we all have might be fake, but its still best to atleast find out if it is. Its better than doing nothing. I wonder why the high rollers or people who had large balances there wouldn't do anything about it.

Virowx was a good site for the same, but their fees are way high now. Circle.com, or sites like quickbt.com(which I use a lot), are good. However, quickbt also has a fees which is significant, but its very easy and hassle free.

Well.... i don't want to sound like an advert, but i do play regularly on Alex's group of dice sites and i do feel he is very honest about the way he goes about doing things. Sure, there have been a few hurdles along the way, but he has managed to sort them all out to the best of his abilities and AFAIK. Since he has invested in all the sites in the group himself, i feel that he can be trusted, but what do i know.. especially when dice legends are unable to identify scammers! i guess temptations run high.  Not all of the owners are dis-honest, the lure of easy funds can turn people on their head though. At one point Alex could have divested with huge profits when someone lost big but he didn't. Looking at all the discussion about player / investor funded sites, just thought i should put this out here. Maybe someone can play here to do an audit and confirm if all is well? My 2 satoshi. OMG! So much panic here!  Can you, guys, read? It was a giveaway on FACEBOOK page, I just announced it here. Around 250 person did get reward. You can see comments on facebook with reply "sent", "done", "+" and verify any transaction in blockchain, before spreading fud. ) As I said before, not everyone get it, there are some reasons we have skipped many claims.
