921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Another Good Source Of Motivation For You ... on: July 28, 2023, 03:32:08 PM
It is no point eating comfortably every day if you do not invest money. I use to tell my younger ones too, if you do not do anything, 10 years will still pass you by and you will have nothing to show for it. There's nothing wrong with investing most of your money into Bitcoin and using the rest to survive.

Those who live their life base of risky investments are always the ones who take the top, and trust be told, Bitcoin is now on a journey of becoming a less risky investment, it's riskier not to have any Bitcoin right now because if in near future the US embrace Bitcoin completely, that will be a game changer and loads of people will then start rushing in, not to miss out but they have already missed out because they fail to accumulate when no one cares.

922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there age limits to Bitcoin investment? on: July 28, 2023, 10:58:42 AM
There's nothing wrong with introducing bitcoin to children, just as we teach children to save.
there is no age limit for investing in bitcoin as long as there is capital they are entitled to invest in bitcoin. There is no age limit for investing in Bitcoins.
There should be, it doesn't make sense that you are passing this information around, kids are kids and they will always behave like one, even adults that are in crypto are messing things up, selling Bitcoin mistakenly for lower price on exchange, some people can't even operate an exchange properly, you want kids to embark on such path? It will be confusing as heck, I won't recommend letting your kids to invest in Bitcoin if they are too small, now this is where I believe your point doesn't make sense.

Some ages can't operate an exchange, not even a crypto wallet, for you to say that there is no age limit for investing in Bitcoin is totally incorrect, if adults can make mistakes, kids can make much more, this is why I believe that age matters when it comes to crypto investment.

923  Other / Off-topic / Re: Missing Crypto Millionaire Found Dismembered in a Suitcase on: July 28, 2023, 09:04:28 AM
There are few crypto millionaires in the world today and everyone knows what they are into but we don't hear that they end up in a pool of blood, this is the second time I am hearing something like this and we shouldn't just into conclusion because of what the media is feeding us.

The first story was about a Mexican fella who dumped many into Ponzi scheme crypto investment and ran away but he didn't know that few of his victims are drug lords or Cartel members and they dismembered him.

There is a big chance that the same happened with this crypto influencer, maybe he owe or scam some people into making them invest in something that later crash?

One thing I noticed about Crypto influencers is using people to pump their bags, a coin with thousands market cap can easily turn into 2 million because of a crypto influencer talking about the coin.

I am not saying this is it, it could be few other things but it's not about living a good life and showing off, the news said it's done by a professional, he must have hurt someone, a killer was sent to get the job done.
924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bitcoin obsessed university lecturer. on: July 27, 2023, 06:36:54 PM
I'm curious how he is going to get paid for doing this, he is a lecturer and teaching Bitcoin is not one of his work, it's even illegal to do this because i am certain that's a government college or university, and for the fact that he is even forcing Bitcoin on them sounds unbelievable, I will like to read more about this OP, if you can drop the source link where you read this from?

If he is forcing the students to learn about Bitcoin, I can't help but think that this lecturer has other plan, maybe he will later run a Ponzi scheme where he will ask the students to invest in something? Because, sorry to say, this doesn't make any sense.

We are not talking about kids here, these are grown up, and they are old enough to make their own decisions, this isn't learning, it could make them hate Bitcoin even more.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Appeal to the Average Joe and Jane Bitcoin Investors: Buy Bitcoin Now! on: July 27, 2023, 04:39:22 PM
It's really not easy to DCA into Bitcoin and hold for a very period of time, that's why many members on the forum are advancing people to have a source of income before you start buying Bitcoin, the journey will become boring if you have no more money to invest because we can't still predict when there will be a new dump for buying opportunity in the market. Also, we can't keep telling people to start DCA, some are not even the type to DCA, it's later they will find out that DCA is not for them.

Let's leave people to make decisions themselves, I was once someone who didn't like to DCA into Bitcoin because I don't in bear market, I used to think that bear season are where you exist the market until when bull market is getting started, it was later that I learnt my lesson.
926  Economy / Economics / Re: Methods to cut food costs on: July 27, 2023, 11:04:42 AM
If there are such offers in my country I will run for my life, because it's either the foods are stolen or they use something else to prepare the food, in my country even human parts are used to prepare food, if I have to advice anyone coming to my country I will tell them not to eat food outside, they should buy food items and prepare the food themselves.

Only those in foreign countries will enjoy discounts off food items they purchase, it's not going to happen in so many countries, food is very costly here and that's why many people just prepare food anyhow and sell to people who have no idea what's happening around them.

The best method to cut of food prices is to start planting them yourself, most homes have spaces or backyard, it's a good way to cut down the expenses on food.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robert Kennedy Jr bought each of his 7 kids 2 BTC each! on: July 27, 2023, 09:04:35 AM
Why are we having this discussion? I mean who cares how many Bitcoin he bought for his kids? He had the money and he understand Bitcoin and it's potential, it's something that every one of us can do for our children, the only difference is he is rich and many of us here can't afford 1BTC.

I do like what Kennedy Jr is doing in crypto space lately and I also like that he is going for the presidential candidate but there is nothing proven here yet, are we supposed to be happy he bought Bitcoin? Or do you expect the market to start pumping because Kennedy Jr bought some Bitcoin?

If he likes, he should buy 100 more for his children, we aren't supposed to debate on that, it's why I believe your point is not valid.
928  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: USB Mining on: July 26, 2023, 03:45:51 PM
If he's just looking for a novelty item and a fun quiet thing with no money involved, yeah, the USB miner might be a thing.
I see some Memecoin can be mined with ~350GH/s but I don't know if this altcoins worth to buy a miner for $335.
Therefore, even if this thing is possible, I think it is better to spend this money to buy those memcoins directly.

Memecoin? God have mercy on your soul, it's better to buy Bitcoin with what you have, your money will be safe with Bitcoin instead of meme coin, you can wake up one day and find out that the meme coin is no more existing, maybe rug pulled.

Even if it's not a meme coin and it's PoW alt I still won't try it because Bitcoin is the best bet for every new crypto investors.

If you can't afford a Asic miner today it's not the end of the world yet, tomorrow is another day, maybe trying to buy Bitcoin now will open door to buying Asic miner someday, it's possible, think about doing this rather than some altcoins.
929  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining On 2023 from home on: July 26, 2023, 12:08:53 PM
Someone is flashing off s19 making 8$ per day on TikTok the other day, and I replied that it's going to be good for only him, because some people can't keep running their rigs with 3000+ watt drawings, so advertising that the rig makes 8$ per day without telling his buyers to do some calculation on electricity consumption and bills first is misleading.

For me its all about the electricity bills, if you are already paying high amount per KW then don't do it, you are better off running a less-consuming setup, like a single GPU or set up node or something else..

For many that's the case, they are better off using that money they got to buy Bitcoin.
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if salaries were paid in BTC on: July 26, 2023, 09:48:00 AM
It's never going to happen because the government of every country has their own centralized currency, they can control it, they are the one printing the money, it's by far the best interest for them to pay government workers with the same currency, Bitcoin? Nah the government won't want that to happen, it's why we are still this far behind in crypto space.

The oy advantage that's even here is the easier way of keeping some Bitcoin for long term hold, the stress of changing fiat to Bitcoin will be gone but still, even if younger paid in Bitcoin you will need to exchange some back into Fiat, because you need Fiat to spend your Bitcoin, many stores offline are not accepting Bitcoin and crypto still.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A neighbor next door on: July 26, 2023, 08:50:18 AM
I can't help you pick a side but there are two possibilities to this

1. This neighbor of yours might have heard that Bitcoin can change his life, the other neighbor that failed to teach him might be a good example, maybe he sees how life-changing with Bitcoin is possible looking at the two of you, maybe he want a change? If he isn't a dangerous addict, like those that use guns and weapons you can ask questions, ask him why he want to get involved, his answer will bring out the clear intentions he have in mind.

2. Normal once a drug dealer is always a drug dealer and everything they get involved with is for the purpose of nurturing their illicit business, this can one one of those way to get away with easy crime life, this is one of those ways you can tarnish the image of Bitcoin, do not do it if his intent are unknown or he failed to speak up his mind.

Now I leave the rest to you, do the finding yourself, also my advice is leave that premises it's not safe living with a drug dealer, unless he is ready to change and give up on the business, maybe that's why he want to know Bitcoin? That's your job to find out.

Most times it's not safe living with such people,  stay safe.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My easy way to teach your kids bitcoin. on: July 25, 2023, 07:50:02 PM
I know someone who have a 7 years old boy and this boy can identity what a Bitcoin logo looks like, he learnt that from his father but I doubt he knows about how to get it than buying it, it's good to know what Bitcoin looks like and it doesn't mean the children will have a motive to start looking for Bitcoin instead of facing their studies, but anything is possible, this kids coming into the world today are way too smart for their ages.

Also, it could be unsafe for a small child to know what Bitcoin is, like the example I wrote about the 7years old boy, imagine this Boy start saying it in public that his father has Bitcoin and it's better than Gold, words fly faster than anything, this could bring evil eye on the family, they might be a target by criminals.

There was a case like this in my area but it's not about Bitcoin, it's about a child telling is friends about how rich his father is, that he also bring a load of money into the house recently, we don't even know that some neighbors are robbers in the night, and target the man and steal his money and took the mans life too, it was through investigation that every secret came out.
933  Economy / Gambling / Re: what are the best crypto casinos! on: July 25, 2023, 05:07:06 PM
Stake casino is no doubt one of the most popular of them all but it's not a must to use this casino because they are on top, I hardly gamble on the platform as I prefer others, it has everything to do with experience and if a platform can give you that there is no reason to start looking for another.

The reason why people use online casinos is different for each gambler. If your luck isn't that far from you, then you don't need to change casinos, for example, casinos with low withdrawal fees and a minimal withdrawal amount is a good features, I look for these things since I always gamble with money I can afford to lose, and I want excellent customer service, too, in case I need assistance.

I don't choose online casino because of high popularity only, how often do one get lucky on the casino is the top priority for me.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a person buy a hardware wallet where crypto is ban? on: July 25, 2023, 04:43:40 PM
Ban or no ban, Bitcoin hardware wallet was meant to be used privately, it increases your level of security for your assets compare to someone who always tell everyone that he has Bitcoin wish can attract criminals to his door or lead to arrest if Bitcoin is ban in the country.

Even if government warned you not to get involve with Bitcoin, how will they know if you do? I think the Ban is for the banks, meaning you can't publicly exchange Bitcoin into your local currency anymore unlike before, this was what happened when crypto was banned in my country and that was when I learned how to use Peer 2 Peer trading.

I think it's the same with what OP is saying, the Ban will only affect your Fiat to Crypto or Crypto to Fiat exchange.
935  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 24, 2023, 06:08:22 PM
Every passions are not about money making or future net worth, many people have passions for things that will make them less money, they can't help but have passion for it, not because of how their lives will change but others.

Some people have passions on things that they found peace with, everything is not always about money.
936  Other / Off-topic / Re: KONJI IS REAL on: July 24, 2023, 05:20:53 PM
That gut that you have to bring this on this forum, man, wonders shall never end.

At your age I was struggling to learn a good skill for my future since I don't plan on furthering my education, but my mind was set on making money and not females, they are trouble and I stay away from them to avoid distraction.

You are the first person that I really feel disappointed for, I wonder what your goals in life is, at this very young age all you could think about is this? You are a complete failure boy.

Have your way with your little girl friend and see what happens next, mistakes that most grown up regretted is what you want to start your life with, good luck.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin tips: Bullish and Bearish Flags on: July 24, 2023, 04:09:17 PM
Upon reading this post and noticing that maybe I can't load the picture, I search what's bullish and bearish are and read about some info about it. It's the simple explanation of downwards and upwards of the value or price of a certain product or business. Surely your friend has given you a good advice that can be also applied in buying Bitcoin and like what you said sir it's a matter of risk and chance that we don't know if it will be a good choice or not.
What do you mean by you don't know if it's good choice or not? Risk is a very important thing in everyone's life, that's if you want for best for yourself, you need to expose yourself to risk, Sleeping and waking up every day is even riskier because death could come and take you away, and everything you did before won't count anymore.

Have you ever felt happy taking risks with something before? Whenever I DCA into Bitcoin this is how I always feel because I am taking the right risk, something many people can't picture themselves doing, they don't have the courage.

If you understand crypto investment very well risks isn't one of those things that will push you away from investing, risks are necessary in our life if we want to change our story.
938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost bitcoins on: July 24, 2023, 03:41:47 PM
I read some old threads about lost Bitcoins ND this question has been on my mind ever since
If the lost Bitcoins were for instance recovered will the price of Bitcoin drop  because in theory it would affect the amount of Bitcoin in circulation which will lower it's price . I saw in those threads that lost Bitcoins are considered a donation to the Bitcoin network. so if my theory is correct then we should be happy those Bitcoins were lost.

Happy that someone lost his or her life savings? No I am not, because I am also a Bitcoin holder, I won't like it if I manage to lost my Bitcoin, also there is no way we can know the numbers of lost Bitcoins, and not all sleeping wallet addresses are lost.

Even if no single Bitcoin are lost till date are you saying that the value ain't never going to be the same? Those who lost their Bitcoin for real might have sold them in the past years already, any old holders that have Bitcoin right now understood the game, and they are prepared to always be here for a longer period.

939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: July 24, 2023, 02:58:56 PM
both are good but I prefer bull market rather than bear market. I do altcoin trading too, when bull market happen the percentage of getting profit is bigger because bitcoin price also affect on altcoin price. for me it is hard to trading in bear market, because not much pump happen in altcoin trading. I am a trader so when bull market come I always try to sell at as highest price as possible then buy it back when bear market come again. in the past I was just do holding and the profit still big. both holding and trading is profitable, the difference is just the risk.

Almost every bitcoin holders will prefer the bull season because it gives them more opportunities to secure more interests on their investments they have longed time venture into and hodl, but also, there's profitabilities in the bear market as well and those that get this unique opportunities are the bitcoin traders, they enjoy going into different leverage positions and trade especially in future trades and make earnings when the prices dumps as they have predicted, though not everyone is into this because of the risk associated with this kind of trading category, while the majority of the traders prefers the bull market together with the bitcoin long time investors.
It is undeniable that the majority prefer bull markets to bear markets. But aside from the short-term traders who like the bull market, the majority of the people who want this are those who bought at the previous high, and they are losing money, and they hope their losses will recover soon.

Personally, I prefer bear season, because that's when the market purges junk projects as well as the market matures. I always thought that the rewards would only be for the last stayers, and this is the financial markets. The market is a battlefield, the more people give up, the greater the opportunity for us.
The problem is lack of understanding,  a good trader should not be bothered with any side of the market conditions either bull or bear, you can short the market if you are sure we are headed for a new bear market and you will make tons of profits, it's why I believe that daily trading is nonsense, trading base on market sentimental is way better, maybe when there is a powerful news that can affect the market condition that's a great time to trade.

I prefer bear season too because it's the perfect time to silently accumulate some good assets and wait for the bull market, that's why I said before that it's all about your level of understanding the crypto market, I know the advantage of buying in a bear market and selling in a bull market.

For someone that lacks the understanding of the market, they fear for their money in every bear market because the dumps might just be starting up, compare to us that understands, we are always in for the long run, so whatever happens with the market is less of a concern.
940  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think selling your property is better than taking loan? on: July 23, 2023, 08:08:02 AM
It depend on what you plan to do with the money, if it's emergency like health problem then you can do either but if it's business it depends on what your worth is, if you have a lot of items that's worth good money like gold you can still take a loan, your mind will ease because you have collateral at mind in case things go wrong, this is better than someone who have nothing valuable somewhere and go ahead to take some loan, that's not smart.

For some people, any problems that come their way is loan related, honestly I believe loans are for those that are running big businesses, not those that have nothing they are running, that's why many end up in debt after taking a loan.
