921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your investment strategy? on: August 12, 2018, 01:45:18 PM
Hello all.

The current situation of the market is not so good. I believe that some of you are panic, some are giving up, some holding to die.  Cry

Could you please share with us your current investment strategy so that everybody can learn from your good practices and overcome this tough time?

Yes some peoples must be panicked because the price is worsening day by day down to date.
I am currently holding my cryptocurrency coins like ETH, XRP, XMR and not selling them at this kind of price.
sometimes i sell it to buy other coins to cut my losses, but not selling into fiat.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: August 11, 2018, 04:54:27 PM
I just created this thread to gather opinions ..
Ethereum is next to BTC?

ETH is the most popular altcoins in cryptocurrency, so it could be the next coin to BTC.
many investors use ETH to give contribution in many projects ICO.
But unfortunately there are many scam icos that makes investors afraid to invest now.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do i sell my altcoins? on: August 11, 2018, 04:28:58 PM
Hello guys i got really lucky and some of my altcoins received from airdrops have gained value.I want to sell it at its market price.Where can i sell it at its best price?
Also i am confused as to hold or sell the coins. The coins which i possess are at its initial stages so will its value increase with time or should i sell it now.Two of the coins are REBL and EQL.

Of course in exchanges. You cannot sell your coins with peoples directly because you won't know if they are scam or not.
If you want to sell your airdrop coins, i suggest you to not sell it because airdrop is worth only low price after ico.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way for marketing a new crypto? on: August 11, 2018, 04:07:48 PM
My question is mainly how to do the marketing if you are launching a new crypto currency step by step ?

If you planning to make your own cryptocurrency project, you will need to make promotional campaign for your coins.
I believe there are many peoples here are working as bounty hunters.
Just holding a bounty campaign for your coins, allocate some portion of your coins as the reward, and let the hunters work.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: August 11, 2018, 03:56:00 PM
I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

#Datarius

The best strategy to buy effectively is by doing both, buy during ICO and during the first market exchange.
If you just buying during the market after main sale, your ICO may failed to raise enough funds from investors.
926  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for bearish of BTC on: August 10, 2018, 06:04:52 PM
I want know the exact reason for that

looks like some peoples want to manipulates the price in the market before bull run start.
more with the delay of etf, the btc price dropping more in few days. Some possibilities can be happened.
The important thing is, we don't get manipulated by them.
927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks accepting Bitcoin soon? Nope! on: August 10, 2018, 05:51:36 PM
I’m a long time frappeholic of Starbucks, and I usually hanging out myself or with my friends there. There is a news plus a video from CNBC that Starbucks would finally accept Bitcoin soon.

However, it won’t happen as of this time as Starbucks clarifies media misrepresentation.

Take a look here guys: https://cointelegraph.com/news/no-coffee-for-bitcoin-starbucks-clarifies-as-media-misrepresent-its-new-crypto-venture

At first, I was excited because I am a long time customer of Starbucks in a local mall. But this was just sad.

LOL what happened with the 'misrepresent' ? So, starbuck won't accept bitcoin as their payment ?
I believe for now starbuck not yet using cryptocurrency, but in the future when many peoples use crypto they will accept crypto too.
928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price is not stop falling! What to do? on: August 10, 2018, 05:33:13 PM
That cannot be helped. They are seeing the market price keep dropping, so they think crypto will be dead.
What we must do is not to spreading the negativity about bitcoin and other coins.
Look for the positive point of view such as, you can buy the coins with very cheap price now.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to gain income from crypto 1k$/month on: August 02, 2018, 08:53:44 AM
I set a goal to reach incom from crypto 1k$/month to live on this earnings and do things that i'm interested in. What would you advise, how could i reach my goal this year?

I think the most reliable way to gain $1k cryptocurrency is by mining them. If you have nice mining rigs, you can very possible to gain more than $1k/month. Of course this will need quite amount of money to buy the mining equipments. But this way is safer than you investing in the projects.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you tell people? on: August 02, 2018, 08:41:52 AM
People do not believe in crypto currency.  They say that crypto is not fixed.  As fiat - gold.  Where does the value of crypts come from?  What do you tell people?

The value of cryptocurrency now is not stable indeed. But volatility is not a bad thing for me.
You can buy when the price is on the low point, and sell it higher later. No need to tell them anything. Just show them the profit you got.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH?? on: August 02, 2018, 08:24:39 AM
Since most of the alt coins are traded with BTC or ETH. SO I think altcoins prie are dependent on the price of this two.
What is your opinion please share.

Recently, bitcoin price has rising in the market. When bitcoin price increase, the other altcoins increased too, but not much as bitcoin.
With this we know the price of altcoins was not depending on the bitcoin price. So i think bitcoin and altcoins have a different price fluctuation in the market.
932  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Exchanges Are Coming? But It is OK? on: August 01, 2018, 05:30:20 AM
Everyday, we are seeing new crypto currency exchanges start working. So many platform has already opened. But Is that OK? I think volumes are seperating. How this effect prices?

Better if the volume spreading than it concentrate just on few big exchanges only. Small exchanges is important too.
There are few big exchanges require minimum deposit and for peoples who cant afford this requirement, can use smaller exchanges.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back) on: August 01, 2018, 05:05:47 AM
Dear Panic Sellers,

If the news about Google Ads and Facebook, as well as bubble-bursting warnings from "respectable" institutions such as universities, economists, banks, opinion makers, investors and governments have convinced you to sell your coins,

If you let yourself be influenced by the messages and actions from these corporations and governments,

You have not understood a single thing about Satoshi's libertarian dream of decentralization and liberty and cannot cope with the responsibility that comes with these liberties. You were only hoping for some quick profit to sell for fiat... Now that you're losing dollars, you are crying all the way... well... to the bank.

I hope you got out completely and never will return, because I am convinced you are as big a threat to Satoshi's dream as the corporations and law-makers that convinced you to panic sell.

PS: To my fellow believers: HODL.  Smiley

Panic sellers will appear if there are a great amount of changes of coins value in the market.
not only panic sellers, panic buyers too. Most of them are peoples who chasing hype by buying when high, and then when the price falling, they sell it before they loss more.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin history, a fact for each day! on: August 01, 2018, 04:46:35 AM
This is more likely "The log" of bitcoin for this year, it is very good for you to have this data.
Maybe we can use this list to predict what will be the bitcoin market price movements in the future.
although we cannot predict cryptocurrency, but at least we able to read some.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be fooled. on: July 31, 2018, 04:25:16 AM
Hi, I want to warn you that now on this market has come a lot of bad people, they just beg you for money for nothing, hiding behind the blockchain, but they are not competitive and in most cases are not even going to compete with other companies. Many of the ideas are stolen from other projects.
The result, they have business, and you have illiquid tokens. Your funds have decreased several times.
But you can not make a claim to the founders of the projects, because they do not hide ) it is an open Scam.

Thank you for your evaluation, I believe that we can continue to behave efficiently, but need should warn people about these risks. Otherwise, confidence in the crypto world will be undermined, and the reputation for digital excellence will be questioned. So I ask You to communicate to maximum number of people about these fraudulent schemes. If possible, create a similar warning in your local sections, in your language.

Now it is worth paying attention to the fact that most of the projects have already lost their exclusivity, we are now in chaos created HYIP, I go to the project today and want to know when will sell tokens, and I'm told that there is airdrop, you need to record a video and then you have a chance to get airdrop, well, it's just disgusting, they kill my time, I just want to invest, I'm not going to waste my time to participate in the competition. And they do not need ordinary investors. They are engaged in HYIP, because then, creating a sufficient level of HYIP, they throw a scarce amount of tokens to the exchange and raise the rate of their tokens. In fact, they do not carry anything sensible to the world. Or some mediocre idea or another bike. Please be careful, do not give in to this animal instinct of the crowd and do not get fooled on the HYIP. This scheme is far from normal manners.

Yes, thats why you should do your own due diligence first before start to buying a tokens in ICOs.
An open scam is the worst ICO to participate. It is not a scam, nor a good project.
I usually research about their token supply and the project roadmap to avoid this. If they cannot deliver the roadmap on time, they will extend their planning and it will be bad. so i will not buying this kind of ICO.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Ethereum on: July 31, 2018, 04:02:52 AM
Hello.

do you think it's a good time to invest in Ethereum?

Investing in ethereum will be a good option to choose because you can use eth for various things.
You can hold it, trade it, or you can use it to participate in many ICOs. You know that many companies raise funds with ethereum tokens.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks to start trading crypto sooner on: July 30, 2018, 02:51:24 AM
Banks will trade cryptocurrency sooner than people think, says former JPMorgan blockchain executive. If you are thinking to buy some bitcoins, it is right time as prices will go up soon.

Source: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/18/banks-could-start-trading-crypto-soon-says-fmr-jpmorgan-executive.html

If this is true, then cryptocurrency bearish market will be ended soon at any time. if the banks start to using cryptocurrency in their system,
i think cryptocurrency demand will be increase much higher than before. Resulting a spiking price in the market.
938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin become an asset on: July 30, 2018, 02:31:06 AM
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/

I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

Bitcoin is a currency actually, a digital currency that have a decentralized database system. If it recognized as an asset, then it will be different from currency. Asset is used for for holding, currency is used for operational. That means the cycle of bitcoin will be faster if it use as a currency than as an asset.
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep your coins physically secure? on: July 30, 2018, 02:02:26 AM
We're all aware of the risks of keeping our coins on online wallets and exchange wallets, but many of us still keep our coins on our own devices.

Are we keeping our devices secure? Its instinctual to not leave your fiat money wallet unattended in a public place but what about your bitcoin wallet? Are you leaving leaving the laptop you're writing your novel on the table at Starbucks when you go the bathroom? The laptop with your electrum wallet, your life savings.

Where does the line between paranoia and reasonable physical security meet?

Of course it must. If you not physically secure your coins, you may lose them later. for example i usually backup my wallet information in some storage.
Like flashdisk or hardisk, and keep them safe with my possession. Provide a deposit box if needed, then put your storage in the box.
If something bad happened like fire, flood, earthquake or others, your wallet backup will safe.
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Legalize Crypto currency on: July 29, 2018, 08:00:49 AM
While there are several nations which are passing laws against crypto world.  Thailand has entered the list of the nations which have legalized crypto currency.  Thailand is mainly dependent on tourism industry.  So I think it is wise decision on t he part of a country where major source of income is from tourism.  So it will attract more tourists to this country.
It will benefit a lot to the country and is healthy signal for the health of Bitcoin family.

Thailand is one of the country that supporting mining cryptocurrency activity too i guess.
So, legalization of cryptocurrency is not a big news from them. There will be more country legalize cryptocurrency in the future.
If this happened, crypto value will skyrocketing in the market because there are more demands.
