I don't think Ronaldo will leave in the January transfer window, there are serious rumours about a return to Man Utd though which could happen in the summer.
As for Benitez unfortunately I don't think he will last the season.
This is how the conflict will grow. There have been persistent rumors that a mate of Benitez at Real Madrid will be Zidane. And about Ronaldo saying that in addition to Manchester, there is still Paris. And it is not clear until the end what Ronaldo wants himself. I expect that Ronaldo will go in to USA, and pickup money there.
