921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe do you feel with casinos that ask you to input your log detail. on: October 28, 2023, 12:03:34 AM
It's frustrating at times because most of my accounts have 2FA, but i'm okay with that extra inconvenience if it can save me from losing my account in the future. It does bother me a bit when I get logged out or my previous session expires because it sometimes gives me the thought of logging in at a potential phishing site, so I always double or triple-check before typing my username and password. In casino apps, it's easier to log in and out since they can use your fingerprint to store your login info but only a few casinos have a mobile app.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: October 27, 2023, 03:41:47 PM
Im taking this because sportsbet selected son to score again. Tottenham is in a good form right now and Crystal Palace only had 1 lucky win in the last 5 games against United so we all know how this game is going to end. All that left for this special would be Son to score, obviously I know that he is capable to score but you know shit might happens
Same, today's MOTD is a no-brainer when Tottenham is one of the few teams that are raking in a lot of points on the road and we get better odds than yesterday's best MOTD.

The only downside with Tottenham's MOTD is that it could end in a 1-0 win for them since Crystal Palace held Arsenal to a 1-0 win in their first home match.

Also, some of the markets for tomorrow are already available, and the EPL multi-bet (Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle) looks more interesting than the next MOTD(Real vs Barca).

And your BTTS betslip did win so congrats on another good decision!
Thanks, I got lucky with that BTTS bet as AEK got a goal before receiving a red card.  Grin

BIG BIG News coming out today from csgo/cs2 esports

1) S1mple has announced he will take a leave from competitive play and focus on personal life, who would seen this coming ??
At least it's not permanent and he mentioned that he's willing to play again if there's an opportunity. When Navi wasn't doing well with this new roster, I had a hunch someone would give in, but I wasn't expecting the first player to be simple.

Also, Worlds and TI is back again later today. I couldn't place a bet on the outright markets for TI so I might just roll my Worlds bet if it hits.  Wink

I've got LNG @1.5 to win against KT Rolster for the qualifying match since there's no good reason to bet on DK vs GAM series when the odds are close to 1.1 or less.

924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Live Sports Betting vs virtual Games Betting on: October 27, 2023, 12:46:18 AM
So, I'm throwing the question out to all of you. Which type of sports betting gets your heart racing and your wallets fattening up? Do you have a preference, and if so, why?
I'll always pick live betting over virtual games because those simulated sports can't replicate the experience I get in actual sports betting. I do agree that live betting is unpredictable if you're going to bet on every live match. The same can be said with virtual games when they rely more on luck due to how it works, so you can't back your bets with information compared to live betting. Live betting doesn't give me constant wins but it's still worth using when it gives you the option to jump in on matches you've missed and sometimes you could get good value bets through live odds if you learn how to wait.

This being a TNF game makes me want to go with the bucs +9.5 with how the TNF games have gone this season, but i also feel like Bills might finally do something and just smash the bucs today :/

Maybe Bills -2.5 & u49.5 is the play  ?
It's the best play to go for since Mayfield might not be at his best for today's match, but I remember getting cooked on my last bet builder and I saw a lot of bets being placed on the over.

I still can't forget how the Bills disappointed me last time and i'm backing them once again to cover the spread. Tongue Their mediocre performance can continue, but i'm hoping they're due for a dominant win after a close loss against the Patriots.

926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: October 26, 2023, 04:28:01 PM
Man I should have listened to you ! It would have been 3 consecutive MOTD win if only I had picked that PSG MOTD as well. I know for sure that Milan is not going to win this game but they are pretty good in defending though thus I had a hunch it could be a draw or probably a close 1-0 win from PSG so I decided to leave that one out but gosh Mbappe ended up scoring as well
That's what I initially had in mind when I looked at their matchup, but the longer I thought about it, the more I liked PSG to win.

Grats on winning this mate
Thanks.  Cheesy

In today's MOTD we have a match in the Europa league with Brighton & Hove Albion taking on Ajax Amsterdam:

So maybe this isn't the best time to backing them due to them going through a restructuring of their team management.
Today's MOTD looks more of a trap as both teams don't have the best form, with Brighton slightly on the better side since they're playing at home and most of the risk comes from Ferguson's ATGS, which is currently at 1.8 on the match page.

We better avoid that trap and bet on something else, i'm rolling with a BTTS on the Marseille match since these teams like to score and concede goals.

LOL worlds main event resumes in just about 12 hours
We have Cloud9 vs Fnatic and then Weibo vs MAD Lions

I dont think there are many times u will get a EU team at 2+ odds against NA so i love the Fnatic play tomorrow,
For second game odds are too skewed towards weibo but maybe mad can finally do something  Sad
Yup, in other bookies, they're offering Fnatic around 2.10+ and i'm surprised when I think they're the slightly better team over Cloud9. I went with the over 2.5 and hope we'll see a competitive series as both teams are fighting to survive another round.

In the second series, if it was another EU team like BDS, maybe there's value, but with Mad Lions, I think the odds are accurate enough when they can't even beat the NA teams.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a Top-down or Bottom-up bettor? on: October 26, 2023, 02:27:16 AM
Even though i've tried both of them, i'm mostly a bottom-up bettor because I noticed there are only a few different providers that most crypto sportsbooks use. I could still spend a few minutes shopping to get better odds but the best ones are always on the fiat sportsbooks and betting exchanges. Those usually require KYC and that's a pass for me, i'd rather stay with the sportsbooks and take the juice on their markets than get verified when I don't wager that much.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just like visiting a cinema on: October 26, 2023, 01:37:15 AM
Changing the way you view something isn't simple for most people. It could take time before they can adapt and for other gamblers, it might not happen because they can't remove the thought of making money or chasing losses. I used to play for profit when I started and the entertainment part is only a bonus while i'm winning. After countless losses, it shifted the other way because it's one of the few ways that helped me from spending more than my budget.

I really wouldn't compare gambling to visiting a cinema still, because while we relax with pop corn or some soda during movies, gambling in a casino might require some drink with a stronger punch like Martini or vodka.
I agree, it's not the best comparison when the others already mentioned a few good reasons, but it's enough to understand what OP is pointing out.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a record of winnings and losses in gambling? on: October 26, 2023, 12:15:08 AM
I used to do it, but not anymore because I sometimes forget to track a couple of bets until they stack up to a hundred. It was helpful at the start so I could keep myself under control after a few losses and then I got a bit lazy as my betting went on through the year.

If you lose your bankroll too quickly and gamble again the next day, it might feel like a chore and even a waste of time because gamblers don't always look back at the mistakes they've made from their previous bets.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: October 25, 2023, 03:53:08 PM
For some odd reason I got a hunch that this match is going to end with a draw. I even put 0-0 on this match for the UCL's pool so yeah I think I might skip this but Im abit tempted with Newcastle's MOTD but Isak might not even make it to the scoresheet. I probably will throw in few usdt later today if I dont forget about them before the kickoff lol  Roll Eyes

I picked this for now because Im pretty sure that Dortmund will get higher booking points so that leaves the corner for Newcastle so I hope I hit this
The others are doubting as well, and a few are taking a shot at AC Milan's odds as they think it's a bit high after PSG got rolled last time. I'm only hoping for the best since PSG is playing at home and Mbappe made me a bit of money during the international break. To me, it's one of those matches where they have to win if they plan on moving on to the knockout phase.

I've also added Porto as my second bet since Shakhtar beat Antwerp last time and i'm expecting Porto to get all three points when Antwerp is becoming the weakest team in their group.

932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: October 25, 2023, 06:30:40 AM
Grats man!
Thanks, i'm lucky to get away with that loss due to the promotion.  Grin

When I thought GSW had a promising third quarter, I thought they'd have no problems closing it out, but the Suns immediately went on a run to take back the lead during the fourth quarter.

Tomorrow, i'm looking at the Celtics since they've prepared another similar promo, but this time, it requires two threes instead of one.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: October 25, 2023, 02:00:10 AM
I have my trust for the Nuggets, but I'm leaning towards the Warriors on opening night. KD is undoubtedly great, but in this game, I think either team could win. What I'm considering here is the home court advantage, nothing else. Also, the noticeable line movement is interesting – it opened at 232 and is now at 235. I have a feeling this game could reach 250 points, so I'm betting on the over as well.
I agree, the value is on the Suns, but we can't underestimate the Warriors at home when they're one of the few good teams that won't simply drop a game at home.

Stake is also offering a good bonus on the opening matches. If they're the first team to make the three-pointer, it should be a sweat-free bet for us Warriors backers.

Edit: Curry with the first three to cash the bet.  Cheesy

Gratz on winning this mate !
Congrats to you as well.  Cheesy

We got a rare double MOTD for the CL matches later today and the more promising one is probably the PSG MOTD since they picked Mbappe for the ATGS. The Newcastle MOTD is the second-best after PSG since Isak only has one assist. The good part for these two MOTDs is they're both playing at home, so the ATGS should have a better chance of hitting but i'll take the best MOTD when there's only a little difference in terms of odds.

Chinese teams were not the favorites coming into this year as they usually are , its gonna be very tough to beat spirit but i think it will be LGD vs azure ray in the finals, giving china TI aegis back after some years  Grin
I would've agreed with you if both Chinese teams were still at their peak. At the moment, I have higher hopes with the other two teams that'll duke it out for the first UB final spot, so i'm leaning on a Spirit vs. Liquid finals.  Wink

Looking at the top match-up for Team Spirit and Team Liquid, I'm eyeing Team Spirit on this one. Both have been so good during all of the run on this TI but if we talk about consistency, it's always been Team Spirit no doubt. But what I like about Team Liquid is they always surprise us with something new. Whoever makes these strategies, either the captain or the coach or analyst or anyone from their team has a huge set of mind because of these new set of strategies that they make like the IO + WD combo.
I'm also expecting Team Spirit to knock Team Liquid, and I might take them to win outright at 2.70 because if they can survive against Team Liquid, it might be smooth sailing for them to the grand finals.

Going in for another MOTD on UCL today

Obviously this is going to hit if it is a league match but on UCL, it could be a different story as Kane has only scored 1 goal out of 6 goals scored by Bayern Munich
I was also eyeing the Bayern Munich MOTD earlier today and then passed on it when the odds for the ATGS were all over the place. Anyway, BOL on the bet.

I've placed a parlay including them and Inter Milan @1.86 since they're the only two early matches starting in less than an hour. Once this parlay hits, I might roll it over to Real Madrid since they're the only favorite I trust to win on the road(and Bayern Munich).

937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: October 24, 2023, 03:46:34 AM
It will bet BetBoom and Virtus Pro and I think that BetBoom is better than them and they know more counters and gameplays against VP.  On the lower bracket, it's gonna be Gaimin Gladiators and BetBoom that I am thinking of but there are still other 2 teams coming down on it from the top bracket.
Those two should advance if they can still perform at the same level but the next round becomes impossible for GG when they could be facing Team Spirit or Team Liquid, depending on who loses that upper bracket series.

As for Tundra and Topson in the second game with Zeus, it was terrible. Let me remind that many thought that they would win TI12, but this didn't happen. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more changes in the team. Although, in principle, this happens after every TI.
Tundra will probably roll back with their original squad since Topson is only filling in for TI and Saksa can still return with the team if he can recover before the next tournament starts.

Surprisingly on later interview to Sneyking about the team tundra, He had mentioned about having on Topson on the team which it is a bit late of making adjustments? No, its not really a valid
reason but i do still respect with those words that with those recent patches and game changes which it did really affect out their performance but in general then its not a solid
reason for you to tell considering that all teams are experiencing  the same.
It's reasonable enough when Topson has a different hero pool than most mid players and maybe Nouns made them adjust too much than they should.

Thanks for the last tag, i've submitted my picks for Pot B and might make some last-minute changes to my score predictions.

Even though I like Pot B much more I'm still in 46th place. I assume that betting all your money on a single match isn't always much of a good strategy. Galatasaray are going to host Bayern Munich tomorrow. It is said that it is difficult for Icardi to play as well. I still want to try my luck in favour of Galatasaray.
I enjoy Pot B as well but i'm finding more success in Pot A since i'm not that good at sniffing underdogs that have potential. I might've opted for the underdogs if there's an alternative option, but i'll keep riding with the favorites and hope I can catch up.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 24, 2023, 12:44:26 AM
Having little experience playing at online casinos, I can't be sure that everything written in this article is true. What do you think about it?

It's very interesting to hear the opinion of experienced players and people who are versed in this subject.
Unfortunately, most of what they mentioned is accurate once you start watching several gambling streams. The only part i'm not sure about is the fake RTP with the providers because i've seen streamers drain their balance quickly and it's only a matter of time until they hit something big after countless top-ups coming from their sponsors. It's still possible for the RTP to be manipulated because casinos can adjust the payout, but there aren't enough hints to confirm the fake wins when they can also brute force their way to a max win (with an endless casino balance).

I'll try to go light for today's MNF as i'm not too confident with the Niners covering comfortably, and like you've mentioned, they have a few players out. Even though the Vikings always lose by a single possession, they might get exposed if the Niners pull ahead with their defense consistently getting stops or turnovers. I was debating if I should go for the over, but after what happened yesterday i'm starting to imagine it'll go under if both offenses can't get a quick score in the first quarter.

Edit: The Game isn't over, but the spread is dead now that the Vikings are the ones in control of the game and still in the lead by two possessions.  Tongue
