921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The End of the Bitcoin Mixing Service, Should We Worry about Our Privacy? on: March 27, 2023, 06:59:50 AM
when bitcoins get too big, and mixers are always associated with negative things like money laundering, or to erase transaction traces, it might be natural for the government to shut down such services. However, the fall of the chipmixer did not mean the end of mixers. I think there are still quite a lot of mixers out there. Other than that, I don't think we need to worry about privacy issues. making transactions with bitcoin does not require an identity if you use certain wallets. besides, if the transaction we are doing is legal, we don't have to worry about it at all.
922  Economy / Economics / Re: Would You Consider Adding Bitcoin to Your Retirement Savings on: March 26, 2023, 02:18:22 PM
if i wanted to put bitcoins in my retirement savings i would keep no more than 15%. in fact, I'd probably save it as an investment, not as retirement savings. that's because the retirement savings that we need to prepare must be of a fixed amount, so that we can share the needs we have in our old age. Meanwhile, we do not know how bitcoin will develop in the future. although we support that, and expect the price to be very high, it's still not certain. keeping retirement savings in bitcoin above 50% may be very risky.
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is storing bitcoin is more secure in iPhone than in an Andriod phone on: March 26, 2023, 08:17:38 AM
i think its the same. storing bitcoins on android and on iPhone will probably be the same, because basically, the storage of softwallets is based on private keys and passwords. in fact, when you use an iPhone, when other people know that, then that person will also be able to access the wallet that you have. however, I think if it's a malware problem, iPhone is slightly better than android. Besides that, the iPhone also has a system where when your iPhone is lost, you can find it more easily than Android.
924  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: March 26, 2023, 05:40:40 AM
Until now, social media is still used as a business field for offline or online businesses, even the potential to get profits from social media is sometimes greater than trying to develop the business itself. That's because until now people spend more time on social media than doing activities looking for something. So, that's why advertising a business on social media is a very good business opportunity. Until now, there has been a lot of evidence that social media is a very good place to do business and a place to advertise a business. many people have successfully developed their businesses from it.
925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can old trading strategies work again? on: March 25, 2023, 01:29:19 PM
I don't know what strategy you used, but I think the pattern of trading will be the same. You can still use the strategy you have when the circumstances allow it. all you need to do is adapt, see the progress of the charts, as well as the information available. if the circumstances are suitable for the strategy you are using, then give it a try. however, if not, then you need to adapt, and try new strategies.
Apart from that, people still use the basics of trading, namely buying low and selling high. to determine that, we really need to adapt to market conditions, and look for accurate information whether the price of the coin we are targeting will go down or up. the strategy for doing that, can use your old way or your new one, and it all depends on the conditions.
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which kind of situation will force you to sell? on: March 25, 2023, 09:08:25 AM
Three scenarios will always make me sell:

1. If bitcoin increases in value so much that it would set me for life
2. If bitcoin decreases in value that the selling pressure is immense I couldn't keep it anymore.
3. If a significant portion of the demographic sells their bitcoin which is still tied to number two but in most cases selling pressure isn't linked to a lot of people selling.

In any case, I'd try my hardest to hold my bitcoins, especially after the fact that I hoarded these and worked for this bag for a long time. To sell is to admit defeat if I were to sell at a very low price. But not gonna lie, there's been times in the past when I'm forced to empty my bags.
well, selling some bitcoins when the price is on the rise is a natural thing. i will also do the same. selling some bitcoins for profit and prizes, it is probably the case that most people will sell some of the bitcoins they have.
Also, I might also sell my bitcoins when I'm really broke, and that might be the only way. Circumstances sometimes push someone to sell their assets, even the most important ones. it is in this condition that I most often sell the bitcoins that I have.
927  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 25, 2023, 05:51:07 AM
One big lesson I've learnt in life about lending money is that the whenever you want to lend money to a family member or friend who you don't trust his financial worthiness, the amount should not be more than what you can let go for him/her. Some family members will or friends do borrow money they perfectly know in their herat that they are not gonna pay back. So instead allowing a lended money to damage family bond, it's better not to lend in the first place
this is a great suggestion. personally, I also have a family like that. they just come to borrow money, then never discuss the debt again. however, the money I lent him was money I was willing to lose, only a few tens of dollars to my recollection, so it wouldn't hurt the relationship I had with my family. This will not make him borrow money again before he repays the money he has borrowed.
Only, it would be different if they borrowed a lot of money. It might damage the relationship we have. so, I thought, it was better not to loan the money at all, than to cause a bigger rift in the family.
928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan for investment can be life threatening on: March 24, 2023, 03:24:10 PM
if I were you, I would do what you are doing right now. tries to explain the risks of crypto trading and the dangers of failing. seeing the condition of your old uncle, and borrowing a lot of money is a mistake if the investment fails. I don't know if this will be life-threatening or not, but I think it will be a huge stress boost when the plan doesn't work out. After all, you warned him, it's just that he's so sure about his friend. all you can do right now is pray and prepare for the worst so you can be relied on when it happens.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the best interest of investors, Bounties shouldn't be paid in Tokens on: March 24, 2023, 09:17:59 AM
I don't see that happening.

Reason 1: Basically free marketing. They are giving out tokens. They don't pay straight out of their pocket.

Reason 2: Usually the amounts they decide to give to bounty hunters isn't that big. So there will be little to none market impact.
for the first reason, it's obvious. some teams might recruit customers this way while minimizing advertising dollars. Personally, I have supported several bounties, they sometimes encourage bounty hunters to use the applications they develop. it can also have an impact on their products because indirectly, we will become their consumers, and we will also advertise their products.

the second reason should be the most important reason. because the tokens distributed to hunters are only a few, it shouldn't affect the market. however, the fact is that it affects a lot, and many investors object to it. Not many projects actually survive this state.
930  Economy / Economics / Re: Money hardly come this days! Why? on: March 24, 2023, 06:40:19 AM
everyone's situation is different. right now, there are people who feel that finding cash is very difficult, there are also those who don't feel that way. it all depends on the backup of the business is run and also the job. However, if the economic situation is getting more difficult at this time, that is a natural thing, and I think it is experienced by many people, even me too. Several reasons such as the influence of Covid-19, a recession in a country, deteriorating economic conditions, and many other things. the way out of this is to find alternative income by adding a business or looking for other businesses that people currently need.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: March 23, 2023, 02:29:55 PM
you need to know, the potential of each altcoin is different. maybe, you buy all of these altcoins, then a bear market occurs, so that all the altcoin prices that you own drop drastically, and so does the bitcoin price.
We cannot predict what the future of altcoins will be without bitcoin, because as I said, each altcoin has its own potential. there may be some who survive, and there may be some who go bankrupt. However, it is common knowledge that investing in crypto is a very risky type of investment. so when you get into this investment, you are ready to take the risk.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guys!! I was finally able to buy my home thanks to Bitcoin!!! on: March 23, 2023, 09:33:35 AM
first of all, congrats to you for successfully achieving one of the goals many people aim for in collecting bitcoins. buying a house with bitcoin is the dream of almost all crypto users, especially me. However, I fully understand that it is not an easy journey, however, you really enjoy it to the point where you can buy a house with the result of your hard work.
Apart from that, I also hope that this can motivate people who are still accumulating assets until now to achieve their goals. a house is not a cheap property, but with persistence and hard work, we can achieve what we want. once again, congrats on buying the house you wanted. this really motivates me to immediately enlarge the business that I have with bitcoin and then buy what I want too.
933  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: March 23, 2023, 06:57:30 AM
as you said, until now I am still trying to maximize the income from the business that I am currently doing. if one day my job disappears, I still have a business to run. after all, we cannot depend on a single income. we need to have a side job to build a business that can give us profit every day or every month. we do this as a precaution when we lose the main source of income that we have today.
934  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: March 21, 2023, 09:53:43 AM
Money must generate money (greater value - more profit), I think this is the big problem for the journey to financial freedom.  No matter what you are focusing your energy on, you must have money to invest, accumulate, do business, trade... I have a job but my salary loses value, it won't give you the opportunity to save money.  save more as well as have money to invest more.  A
after getting married, i failed to invest a large amount of money.  so it's hard to get the condition as money to make money.  The more money, the closer to financial freedom. Lol
well, if you want financial freedom, then we need a business that can support the needs we have every day, and to build a business, money is needed. I think, to achieve financial freedom, you need a big business, which means you need more money. So, the main obstacle to achieving financial freedom is money. I also have problems with money to achieve financial freedom. until now, there is still a lot of business that I need to create, and it costs money. unfortunately, the money I'm making can only build on that piecemeal. but that's better, than not trying to achieve financial freedom.
935  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 20, 2023, 03:14:24 PM
if what you mean is a degree, then I don't think it's too important, but education is indeed very important in doing business. if someone does not have expertise in their business, then there is a possibility that there will be a big loss in the business that will be run. that's why sometimes people always recommend researching the background of a project team before investing. It's just that the title will not be useful without proof of the business they make.
for example, if a person has a business degree, but has no business to run, or has not run any successful business, compare this to a person who does not have a business degree in his name, but has successfully run many large businesses. people will definitely tend to people who have been successful. however, business is sometimes seen from how knowledgeable a person is in strategizing in achieving success in his business, not on his degree.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bounty really pay? on: March 20, 2023, 01:56:38 PM
I am still active controlling with several bounties campaign although have been participants on signature campaign service with weekly payment, last ended bounties campaign have vesting payment with 10% each months and price going up. I dislike with this Bounties campaign rule because ever have cases with twice distribution only and left 80% the project not paying yet until right now depend with coins have going up..

Bounty still worth but join with campaign without any vesting payment and bounty campaign adopted with escrowed is priority because have guarantee about payment receiving. Many bounties campaign manager not use escrowed and face problem when bounty ended and can't get payment on time.
you are right. Until now I am also still trying to support a project from a bounty in the hope that the project can be truly successful and pay the bounty hunters a decent fee. However, it would be great if you prioritize bounties with payments that use escrow and stable coins, so the chances of getting paid are greater. Also, I suspect that if the market starts to recover, there will be quite a number of bounties popping up. I hope that at that time the Bounty Manager uses escrow to guarantee participants as payment guarantees.
937  Economy / Economics / Re: Can one achieve financial independence through crypto currency? on: March 20, 2023, 08:28:36 AM
if your goal is financial freedom, then whatever type of money, or investment you use, you can achieve this. what makes the difference is your strategy. I think, there have been very many people who have achieved financial freedom by utilizing cryptocurrencies. I've seen several videos on YouTube asking about people's jobs, and people who have luxury goods sometimes have a focus on the field of cryptocurreny. I concluded that they could afford these luxuries, so I thought financial freedom was in their sights. however, cryptocurrencies can be used to achieve financial freedom.
938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early bitcoin investment for my baby on: March 19, 2023, 01:07:08 PM
Since your goal is to hold thinking on long term results (18 years from now), you should think about storing your coins safely on your own hands. That is, to not rely on any third party online platforms to keep your coins stored. You need a hardware wallet and to control your own keys.
(...)
I'm curious how the OP stored the Bitcoin they bought for the baby, they created a paper wallet? Bought a hardware wallet or any software Bitcoin wallet? It would be more amazing for OP to share how they manage to store the Bitcoin so just in case in the future, other will follow it too.
Just like me, I am planning to do it in the future for my children. Since I saw a lot of people having life insurance to their children while at very young age, so for me, I will do like what OP did.
i just wish that the OP was using Hard Wallet. Because the main problem in the long-term storage for years from a crypto asset is where it is stored. some of the cases that I have seen, many people hold their assets in several wallets, but some hackers are able to access the assets they have. I've even experienced this myself. Anyway, I don't expect him to use CEX to store his assets. I think that way because many lay people think that CEX is a safe and reliable place to hold assets long term.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Anyone Think Luna Will Recover? on: March 19, 2023, 03:55:02 AM
It will never simply go back to it's glory days. Today Luna doesn't have enough support from the community given that they have a very bad past that makes them lost their community. People are just hyping it for profits and not for the actual project. Hoping that Luna will recover is just a myth. There are much more better projects that big investors wants to put their money on and Luna will never be their options. Luna doesn't have a charm anymore to those big investors that really bring up Luna to it's glory days. Imagine how much money they lost in this project, It's logical that they will never return investing on it. I believe that no one will invest on a flop project unless they are on short term and just aiming for short term profits.
we know that CEO Luna makes too many losses. it is very difficult to replace it all and I am very sure that no one believes in this project anymore. Besides that, until now, people have only taken advantage of the price volatility that has occurred at LUNA to take advantage of it. However, to recover, I also feel it is very difficult and maybe impossible.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: March 18, 2023, 12:47:23 PM
if you don't believe in BNB anymore, then there are only 2 options that I think for you right now which is to exchange the BNB you have for bitcoin, or stable coins. Personally, I'm still collecting BNB today, and will probably hold onto it for the long term. it's just that, I also still hold bitcoin, and ethereum. however, if you are not comfortable with BNB because there is so much FUD, then the safest options for you are Bitcoin and Stable coin.
