921  Economy / Economics / Re: What if crypto vanishes? on: December 25, 2019, 11:04:30 AM
Well there is a lot of things that will happen specially to those individuals who have invested big amount of money to crypto, they will lose everything they have in crypto and i don't think we can recover the cryptos anymore and if ever some groups plans to rebuild crypto people will be having a hard time trusting it again, crypto might not exist again and a new system will be establish.
it will cause chaos, and the FUD will spread the word about scams, fraud, greed, and others to make crypto look bad. actually I can't imagine what happened, because as far as I know, many important people have invested in crypto. but thinking about it vanishes in 1 night, it's very impossible.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using crypto to help the homeless - (for real - with pics!) on: December 25, 2019, 06:09:53 AM
it's a great way to take advantage of cryptocurrency. I have always tried to do that, but I just need to exchange my cryptocurrency to fiat, so there is no documentation for that.
however, I also want those people to learn to use and utilize crypto. it's just that the economic limitations they have cannot achieve that. I really appreciate what you did. as a crypto user, I am inspired by this story.
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme on: December 25, 2019, 01:46:16 AM
well, as far as I know, the government is difficult to destroy bitcoin because bitcoin has a decentralized system. besides that, regarding poor and rich, it all depends on how the person uses it. as far as I know, many rich people use fiat and cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin. however, the statement is very difficult to accept, because we know that some people get rich because of fiat.
it's just that, many cons versions regarding the support and rejection of bitcoin as an investment tool, and transaction tool.
924  Economy / Speculation / Re: When is the perfect time to sell BTC? on: December 24, 2019, 12:50:37 PM
I am holding BTC from long time ago. And this time BTC going up can I sell now with this price? Or I can wait for more days?

No, wait 1-2 more years! Tongue

if B<20k in Nov 2020
hold 1 more year and sell

if B>20k in Nov 2020
    sell

edit: I suppose out of all the information and fors/ againsts I had digested over the years, the thing that stuck by me the most, was not the currency abilities of BTC, but its network effect/ longest chain and thus store of value feature that would be a natural outcome.
if he really can last for years, it's very good to do. but holding it for years is very difficult, especially when the price is already $ 13k, it is very difficult to hold our assets to hold.
but for the better, wait after halving, and the longest is in 2021.
925  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: December 24, 2019, 06:08:01 AM
I don't think like that. everyone has their own way to grow, and get rich. if the strategy is successful, he can become rich, but if not, he can become poor. that doesn't mean he's stupid, but he just has the wrong strategy. if a poor person becomes rich, does that mean he becomes smart after being stupid? or after being rich he becomes poor means he becomes stupid after being smart? however, it all depends on how you survive.
926  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: December 24, 2019, 03:11:33 AM
KYC only benefits to 'someone' who want to charge taxes and who want to track every single thing people are doing.
Best thing would be if people create some other decentralized form of verification.
actually, it's all a matter of regulation. some countries require investment companies to know who their investors are. it aims to prevent money laundering. however, some companies take advantage of this for other reasons. however, there are benefits and losses depending on who manages the KYC.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself And You Protect Your Assets on: December 23, 2019, 09:28:37 AM
There are people who will say sweet words and will deceive you so better stay away and not to trust anyone easily just stay aware and make research.
Just don't  believe anyone on the internet even it's the closest one because you don't know what would they think from someone you don't know physically and what's inside their mind so just be careful with everyone on the internet. It would be better to work solo on the internet and earn something decent rather than work out as a team

actually giving people passwords, private keys, and other important things on the internet is what makes a lot of people exposed to theft.  besides that many phishing sites that need attention to avoid theft and fraud.  however, don't give more trust to people on the internet, and store your private keys in a safe place.  that's the way I use to protect my assets.
928  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s your expectation on 2020 Halving year?! on: December 23, 2019, 04:52:14 AM
Speaking of expectations, I hope that in that year I will have more than 1 bitcoin and 10 ethereum. when I had that, the price of bitcoin rose above $ 20k, and ethereum went back up to $ 1k. it's just that looking at the current situation, it seems difficult to achieve that expectation, even more so if at this time I don't have 1 bitcoin yet. however, I expect the best.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: December 23, 2019, 02:04:41 AM
If youre scared of losing and only wanted to risk a little btc is a low risk cause its the most famous and trusted crypto. Its good if youre willing to risk 500$ on some potential coin pick one that durely can give you high profits in the end. I suggest check out chainlink, gochain, harmony, and tokoin. These platform seems a good chance and performance is highly appreciated.
the best thing to invest in altcoin is ethereum, and after that is BNB, BCH, and LTC. The coin you mentioned is quite good up to now, but we don't know of further developments. but for the coins that I have mentioned have survived long ago, and have been proven to make some people feel satisfied.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 on: December 22, 2019, 03:33:31 PM
So many projects fail to keep their promises and this is why I say they need more than a plan. They need to have already started on working towards the plan. A plan is not a project. If they have it carefully planned they will start working on it before the ICO. If no work has been done before the ICO then you should stay away. Most coins are like this so be aware people.

Therefore, it is better to invest in projects that have a ready-made work product, or a ready-made business.
Projects for which the blockchain is only a useful complement to the work already done and not the basis.
It is not surprising that only one succeeds, this is the case with all startups, not only cryptocurrency.
not only ICO, many companies out there fail to fulfill their promises. we know that the crypto world is filled with competition and scammers. if you can't survive and compete, then the project that you make will die, and that will make you unable to fulfill that promise, especially if the project is filled with scammers.
there are so many projects like that that I can't mention them, so the advice we can give is to be careful choosing projects to invest in because promises alone aren't enough to make you successful.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your preparation for 2020? on: December 22, 2019, 09:42:41 AM
just like you. I have also bought several altcoins to welcome altcoin prices in the future. I'm also waiting for halving bitcoin in the hope that it will change the price of bitcoin for the next pump. because I still believe, the next bitcoin will come after halving, and altcoin will follow it.
I think crypto users have the same preparation, it's just that the difference lies in the type of coins. but, there is one coin that we store in greater amounts than altcoin, which is bitcoin. however, the preparation is to hold large amounts of bitcoin and altcoin, that is the main point.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: December 22, 2019, 04:59:09 AM
My response is to buy more in the dips. People doesn't understand in order for an investment to be successful it needs to have an innovative product that can provide good quality service and bitcoin has all those qualities. It is the pioneer and give birth to alternative currencies and has the biggest popularity in any part of the world with its rising adoption. Bitcoin will not fail if that what worries, fomo investor.
when this is a low price, this should be a moment to have a large amount of bitcoin.  but, most people are quite afraid that bitcoin prices will fall lower.
in my opinion, the right decision to have bitcoin right now, because everything will change soon.  although the risk is still there, but an investor is ready with all the risks right?  You can judge for yourself when looking at prices after halving.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which are your recommendations for best coins to invest in 2020? on: December 21, 2019, 08:58:51 AM
I am interested in investing in BINANCE coins. THERE, XLM, XRP, LINK and maybe NEO, QTUM, KLAYTN, Tron ... because I have seen the growth of this coin very well ... especially is BNB. which in my opinion is the next of ethereum. with great growth and very strong support.
besides ETH, I also recommend BNB. it is a coin that has great potential. if you look at the development of the price, it's the same as ETH, which has an extraordinary increase. it's just that, the quality of BNB depends on the binance exchanger. if binance grows into a more popular exchanger, I'm pretty sure that BNB has greater potential than the other coins you mentioned.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 20, 2019, 10:03:45 AM
I agree, but the one who needs to be convinced about this is the developer.  Until now, there are quite a lot of projects that have good quality, but only not developed and abandoned.  some of their CEOs were involved in cases of greed, and eventually the project died.
however, I will continue to support the project with its quality, not with the promises and bonuses provided
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: December 20, 2019, 05:11:19 AM
Last two years ICO and IEO have been scam with lower price and make many investor not interested with ICO and IEO again, when bitcoin back with higher price and altcoin have been potential with higher price maybe all investor back again with ICO and IEO because have higher price after listing on exchange.
however, until now there are still quite a lot of ICOs and IEOs being developed, so I feel that the developers don't give up on this. but, I think the current lack of investor interest is felt by developers because there are so many IEOs, and ICOs that are not what they want. well, so I feel that at this time not so many investors are looking at IEO and ICO. most of them focus on bitcoin and top altcoin.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Price Peak = $ 1,432.99 USD (Jan 13 2018) on: December 20, 2019, 02:54:47 AM
I am pretty sure Vitalik still keeps some ETH for his personal needs. of course the developer seems to have it, whether it's for personal purposes or for the benefit of the project. but because ethereum is a good quality project, I am pretty sure that ethereum will definitely develop even higher, moreover, ethereum will become ETH 2.0 in early 2020.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You selling to buy Xmas gifts or using bitcoins to buy Xmas gifts? on: December 19, 2019, 12:20:06 PM
I think many people have the same thought. I will not sell for anything at the current price.
maybe some people sell their bitcoin to celebrate Christmas or new year, but I don't do that. if there is something I want to buy, of course at a time like this the savings become the main money. hold on, moon soon.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to introduce crypto currency to newbies on: December 19, 2019, 08:16:49 AM
Well I cannot say we need to introduce to them about crypto currency, Ill think it depends on them if they want to learn in crypto currency if not well its good for us. Their are lots of Newbie right now want to learn in crypto and my advice to them must take a look in youtube there are many ways to learn more basic about in crypto. If they want more learn they have more threads in here it is a big help for them if they read some threads.
Well, we don't have to, but sometimes some newbies ask us about it. the way I do is quite simple if they really want to learn, I just direct them to find some information about crypto on the internet, after that, the risks and benefits, and other things. after that, I only answered questions they didn't know. I will help if I can. to be honest, I didn't really understand the whole crypto until now, so I only gave information that I knew.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: December 19, 2019, 05:10:39 AM
not only Binance can get a positive IEO, you can try Bittrex and Kucoin, there IEO has good value after they are traded, and for bounty hunters I think you all don't give up, even though there are many scam projects.
I see that almost most bounty hunters are still trying to find a legit project and they don't give up on it because there are still some projects that pay. And hope that in 2020 there will be more bounty campaigns that will be released so that the forum will be crowded again Cheesy
basically, for some projects, bounties are still very worth to follow. the proof, several projects this year have been quite successful. even though we really need to be careful to choose it. so far, maybe there have been many desperate bounty hunters, but I think there are still people who stay (like me) to support projects that I think are still appropriate.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is KuCoin better than HitBTC for trading altcoins? on: December 18, 2019, 04:26:49 PM
I use both, and so far I don't have any serious problems with the two exchangers. however, I feel that the hitbtc fee is quite large, and besides that I find a lot of negative comments about hitbtc. but, as far as I can see, there are no negative comments about kucoin, even people always pay attention to the IEO that is there.
