I've released new version of Faucet in a Box: https://static.faucetbox.com/download/faucetinabox/faucetinabox-r19.zipChanges: - when using Dogecoin, show values in DOGE, not in satoshi - it also applies to setting Rewards in admin panel!
- show faucet balance
- when there's new version, show changelog on admin panel
Quite a lot has changed internally and although I've tested it, don't panic if there's something broken. Let me know and I'll do my best to fix it. If you use Dogecoin on your faucet, this update will disable your faucet. You'll have to open admin panel and set rewards again to reenable. Remember to set them in DOGE (whole coins), not in satoshi (0.00000001 coin)!

It's almost ready, we just need to test it a bit. We'll probably release it in about 14 hours.

Hi, Played around with a local test-faucet. Here are some suggestions:
- the captcha is not centered, at least the solvemedia one. - when clicking the home link (upper left corner, like going back from a custom page to the faucet again) it goes to the root of the domain / so if the faucet is installed in /myfaucet it does not go to the faucet
I believe it's fixed in r16: https://static.faucetbox.com/download/faucetinabox/faucetinabox-r16.zip- display the balance on the faucet page like on a microwallet faucet. - display the percent chance of rewards on the faucet page, also like on a MW faucet. "10*100, 1*500" displays only "100, 500 satoshi every..." no user knows how rare 500 is.
We'll implement this in near future. - maybe the ability to manage more than one faucet in one account on faucetbox.
We'll think about it, but we won't be able to do that in this month. The deposit fee is pretty steep. It should be a withdrawal fee instead. Faucet owners should not be punished as they are the ones that hand out free coins and promote the whole faucet network for faucetbox.
It's not a punishment . It doesn't really matter where the fee is charged, the end result is the same. If faucets have 5% less to give away, users get 5% less. If faucets have full 100%, but we take 5% on withdrawal, still users get 5% less. However after the first transaction it looks like we'll be able to lower the fee Thank you for your comments.

Okay i am using r15. For btc its works all fine, but it needs some adjusments to doge or other coins.
Its wierd to say that you are paying 1000000 doge for example, but the real value would be 0,01 doge. its scales different from btc.
i could change 2 things on the code so insteand of
1000000, 2000000, 3000000, 4000000, 100000000, 1000000000 Satoshi every 60 minutes. (changed the satoshi to doge)
How or if we can set it up to look like 0.01 , 0.02 , 0.03, 1, 10 doge
1000000 doge was sent to your FaucetBOX.com address.
would be 0.01 doge bla bla
I agree that it looks weird. We'll do something about it in next few days.

Do i have to have 2 faucetbox account one for hosting faucets the other so i can collect?
You can't have an account for collecting from faucets. Bitcoin/Litecoin etc address is all you need.

Quick question - are you going to list just full listings of faucets even if not on your own platform.. imo this was/is a good feature of LandofBitcoin.. and personally I want my own faucets on my own unique installs now rather than to rely on a 3rd party, whoever it is.. but obviously I'd like to be listed and shared.
Currently we're busy resolving issues, but as soon as we're done with that we'll think about listing other faucets

i sent email to support. but they have no reply for me. not good!
We have responded to every email we've got, looks like it was lost in transit . You can also try to PM me here on Bitcointalk, but don't expect immediate answer. Look like its working. I will wait a little more before moving the btc from microwallet. But i have added one for DOGE! Okay. for some reason i cant add basic anything. If i try to add a google adsense code. example [...] maybe this is a problem because my server runs a 5.3 php version?
Hello and thanks for reporting that . I confirm that there's a bug in script that truncates this ad code. I'll try to fix it in an hour. This problem isn't related to PHP version.

No good.
Stil doing the same error. i will try to clean the entire domain and do it from scratch. i am deleting the old site there so nothing would interfere in this point.
I did send an msg to my service asking for an update.
But yeah hoping for a 5.3 version xD
Ok, no guarantees, but the latest version should work good with PHP 5.3.

PHP Version 5.3.29 MySQL Version 5.5.39-cll Architecture x86_64 Operating System linux Dedicated IP Address 23.88.104.7 Path to sendmail /usr/sbin/sendmail Path to Perl /usr/bin/perl Perl Version 5.10.1 Kernel Version 2.6.32-042stab090.5 cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1) Service Status View
this is me. i will try to install it.
We have only tested it on PHP 5.4 and newer, so that's probably it. I've fixed a few incompatibilities with PHP 5.3 in r9, but I don't guarantee that was everything. Let me know if it still breaks and I'll install PHP 5.3 and test under it. Thanks for notice

You charge 5% deposit fee for faucet admin and another 5% for users when they withdraw? Do you plan to lower these fees and rely on adbit.co like Microwallet.org ?
As BitcoinzB said, we only charge faucet admins, we don't charge users when they withdraw. If user has accumulated 0.01 BTC, that's exactly how much will be sent to his address (which will require us to send 0.01 BTC + bitcoin network fee). We don't want nor plan to include any ads on our page, but we don't say we won't do that in future.

In as much as i like this service, do i need to register my own domain to do this?
We only provide the API, so you need both hosting and domain.
|
|

it says: migration complete please delete this file. But when i go back to http://smallfaucet.pw it's still in microfaucet page ? After migration it's still Microfaucet you're using . It just connects with FaucetBOX.com and not with Microwallet.org. Fill all required data in admin panel and try to send any coins to any address with your site and you should see a confirmation with a FaucetBOX.com link in it. Also if you're setting up new faucet, try our script: https://faucetbox.com/faucetinaboxHow about a fee discount for the firsts new faucets to join your service?
We can think about it. Send an individual request to support@faucetbox.com please

We'll show all withdrawals both on global stats page and on each faucet user's page, so it'll be easy to verify

We’re glad to announce FaucetBOX.com - a new transaction provider for faucets. If you want to create a faucet for a cryptocurrency, look nowhere else. We are the best micropayment cache out there. Fast, reliable, with no ads on the website, but with a reasonable deposit fee - after all, you don’t want us to disappear after a few months because we wouldn’t have money for maintaining our services, right? Why are we the best? For a faucet owner: - you can register your faucet through the website and activate it immediately, no need for us to accept it,
- you get an API key automatically,
- your deposits are being confirmed automatically as well,
- and if you use our API the right way, coins will be sent to your users instantly.
We provide ready-to-go scripts, faucet packages (with nice customisable templates) and many complex statistics (graphs and so on). For users: - we are using a secure connection,
- you don’t need to register (in fact, you can’t!),
- we accept only coin addresses to maintain your privacy,
- your account is created automatically when you use a faucet.
Why is such service needed? If you are a user of faucets and want to get a payout quicker, you have to use a website like ours where you can collect your coins and accumulate them. Then, when you reach the minimal payout (unless you delay it), you will get your coins - automatically. Everything is also explained in our FAQ page, but if you have a problem, reach out to our Support. PS Some people say that we take fees when withdrawing to users. That’s not true, we only take 5% fee from faucet owner on deposits, so that we can pay network fees when we withdraw to users.

Hi, I'm the admin of Bitcoiner.net. I've just wanted to say that I've increased the average payout to 0.00015 BTC. Also I'll implement some way to reward those that are visiting the site regulary in next few days.
