921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 22, 2020, 10:51:50 AM
If you checkout the market today you will see that ethereum price has broken 500 resistance which was very important for future price direction of eth, with this break we can expect eth to finally gain momentum that is important for longterm bulls.
Yes, and in general this is a moment that everyone looks forward to with Ethereum tokens, because it has been a long time since Ethereum had a good price increase in the market, but now Ethereum is starting to show that it is still very good to sustain in the long term.
Indeed and if you check the market almost all the coins are failing to match the increase and change that Bitcoin is going through so it is indeed a great sign that ETH is at least making better progress and it is impossible to expect any coin to match the growth that BTC is going through right now. I am glad it broke the $500 mark because I don't remember last time when I saw ETH at 500 if ever at all. Maybe in 2018 the price was highest so this is certainly good for ETH investors.

I hope once the BTC market becomes stable at a price which it has to at some point, then all these altcoins don't start dropping because that is how it goes usually.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes to avoid when investing in Crypto on: November 22, 2020, 06:39:35 AM
Also, if you are a newbie in the crypto market, you should choose the projects in which you invest carefully, and I know that new projects are more risky because they may be scam. You should study any project and review it well before you take a step forward. You also have to invest with money that you do not need and do not resort to selling Your car, home, etc., for investment.
Obviously trading capital should not consist of money that you require for your livings. I think new projects and tokens coming out are mostly scam or they have no intention to build the project and their primary and only objective is to somehow get listed on an exchange and then disconnect from the project and build a new one with new names and profiles.

The best idea to identify a good project is actually spend time in their telegram and ask them tough questions and see how they react and if they are just suppressing the questions by force or delete the messages then obviously they are scam. Another thing is to check if they are actually interested in building the product or just want to quickly get listed on some exchange.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: November 21, 2020, 09:28:12 PM
This is something almost any gambler does at least once in their life and it is just a right of passage for gamblers. If you have never tried to recover and lost all of your balance, that means you do not know what you are doing. At the end of the day we are talking about something very dangerous here that could end up with all of your deposit gone and unfortunately it is something we all do.

I am not doing it anymore, not all gamblers constantly do it, most of us stop that and do not care about chasing the loss and when we lose we just accept it and move on. However everyone does it at least once, and some people can't stop it neither, they keep doing it again and again for a long period of time, which causes them to gamble more frequently and they end up losing a ton more money as well.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 21, 2020, 12:04:31 PM
This is the kind of discipline we need, we have to be in command of stopping ourselves anytime we need to, regardless of what situation we are, may it be in winning or losing situation, consider treating it as you are in a mission and that strategy has to be properly put in place.
That is achieved once you have gone through enough roller coaster rides of emotions throughout your gambling journey such that the losses and wins do not impact you anymore financially and does not hurt your sentiments. I have seen even the biggest gamblers raging in chat after a loss and some even to such an extent that mods have to ban them for sometime.

I usually play at stake for sports betting and I remember someone lost around 3 Bitcoins on some betslip and he was so nice and raining around before losing but as he lost the bet he was furious and insulting to the fellow members. So even the experienced gamblers and the high rollers get raged and losses hurt their sentiments.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 20, 2020, 07:28:00 PM
Guys recently sportsbet.io have added a new game which is also multiplayer game, known as Aviator which you guys might know as the crash game where the rocket goes up and eventually busts at some point. I am addicted to this new game at sportsbet and play it all day long and there are some big bettors as you can see when you make bets on the left. There is a Fun mode to try the game in case you want to check it before playing with real money.

Here is a screenshot of how the multipliers look for recent games - http://prntscr.com/vmzl3e

I always prefer multiplayer games over single player games and skill games above luck based games. I hope more and more multi-player games are added and more skill games are added too.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot can take place of Ethereum? on: November 20, 2020, 03:27:13 PM
Polkadot offers better scalability than the ethereum blockchain. It offers relay chain, cross-blockchain features, forkless network, decentralized governance and all these are not available in the ethereum network. Actually, Polkadot offers all the solutions to those problems that the ethereum network can not. So many projects are using the Polkadot network. Do you think Polkadot is really Ethreum killer?
Polkadot looks like a really good project. Time is going to tell, when developers starts making use of it they will decide for themselves which network is best for them, and they will start switching to that platform. Although we are yet to know how good the ETH 2.0 is going to be, but we already know that Polkadot has some good features that might be giving it some edge in the fight with Ethereum.

There are a lot of "Ethereum Killers", the future hasn't been decided. I have a couple killers in my portfolio but I still hold Ethereum for the most part: Universa $UTNP and Radix eXDR.
There are already so many projects that works better than Ethereum, but the odds is always on the side of Ethereum for being the first to do it. It’s just like the same thing we are seeing in Bitcoin, there are other coins that were created to be better than Bitcoin, but BTC is ahead for being the first.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All markets in 2020 on: November 20, 2020, 09:17:04 AM
As we all know we face so many circumstances in 2020,  that could have crashed bitcoin and alt coins market. Economy of many countries has down very fast. The covid-19 is still around. As this year is going to finish but i see many good changes in this time frame. In my opinion crypto performed very well is this time.
This year has been in favour of the cryptocurrency market, and some stocks. It’s just like Tesla, the price for Tesla stock has been moving upwards after the Coronavirus started and it reached it’s highest price this year and is still on the green even when checked this evening. Bitcoin steady been on the move up.

I was expecting the good changes because the halving was announced to be on May, but when Coronavirus showed its ugly face I felt like everything was over, and then all of a sudden things are going back upwards. Bitcoin is now close to its last all time highest price as it sits at $18,000 now.

17,562x !!!!! Also a crazy $7,025 win amount on a .40c bet.
I played Jammin Jars for so long but never got good results but one game I can certainly recommend to everyone is The Dog House Megaways by Pragmatic play because it is really cool and once you get free spins you can earn huge. I have myself been lucky on that game and won decent amounts.

If you are trying the buy free spins feature then please go for Sticky Wilds because they give you 7 free spins instead of 15 as compared on the Raining Wilds but seriously the sticky multiplier can get crazy and you can easily hit big numbers if you get a couple of 2x and 3x with a wild maybe.

Congratulations to the guy who won such amounts on a slots and like I said, I am surprised Jammin jars can be so good at least never been as good to me.
930  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: November 12, 2020, 09:43:24 AM
.....
Thats why its called gambling and not investing.  Huh
Why do you think there is place called vegas, well because people like to gamble. They like to dream to win big money and its for entertainment.
Investing is a different topic and not even remotely comparable to Gambling.
On point.

It fascinates me when casual gamblers or the so called "small fish" criticizes the gambling habits and strategies of these high rollers then recommends what they should or shouldn't do.

Yep, it's the whale's money after all and they decide best what to do with them. I also find it kinda funny that people get mad at the "small fish" in the chat who start giving advice whenever a whale is betting. It's all human psychology and happens everywhere both in the online and offline world. Doesn't matter if it's an "advice" or "critique" or whatever, these "small fish" will always follow the whale until he's relevant. And since WangTang_v2's loss is still a hot topic, here is a video of his graph before he deleted the account: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ac-0_CrHGI
I doubt that "small fish" giving advice could be anything bad, there are tons of people who are interested in finances and actually do very well with what they but unfortunately they do not have a decent income so they can't save much and that is why they can't do much for themselves and stay as a small fish but the reality is that they are actually good at what they are doing with the small amount they have.

Not all whales are smart about money neither, wang is a great example of this by losing hundreds of bitcoins in few minutes only, does that sound like something we can say "well it is his money, he can do whatever he wants" , well doing whatever he wants made him lose hundreds of coins which is a sure fire way to say he shouldn't have done whatever he wanted.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happened to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: November 12, 2020, 08:49:58 AM
I always think if a big country like America or China makes their own digital currency and has the same system as Bitcoin (develops its own blockchain system), then the digital currency of that country is recognized as a legal digital currency and is used for digital transactions by all countries, then I thought what would happen to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, would Bitcoin and cryptocurrency survive? or even Bitcoin and cryptocurrency will become legal too?
I don’t think any of Satoshi’s visions includes Bitcoin replacing our main currencies, I think Bitcoin is meant to be a currency on its own that people can use if and whenever they want it, and is not something that’s going to be a must for everyone to make use of. It’s on its own, and then the USD, Euro, and other currencies are on their own.

Bitcoin is there so that whenever we want to send money to other countries it will be easy and cheap, although it’s no longer less as it used to be, the fees has increased and the time, and I’m hoping that they get it fixed so that everything will keep flowing.
932  Economy / Gambling / Re: Piwi247 on: November 11, 2020, 08:40:30 PM
Yes, Like the other broker/agent & bookmaker, verification is required
before withdrawal is permitted.
With all due respect to your platform and rules I must correct you that not all the casinos ask for ID verification before withdrawal. Most of the times the identity verification is done when the player wins big or there is a dispute or an abuse of the giveaways. But like I said all respect to your casino and the rules and it is nice that you mentioned it clear and upfront.

I like the layout of the website and there are sports betting odds also being provided but unfortunately I decided to not make an account after reading that account verification is a must before we can even withdraw money. Good luck though and you will find a lot of other plays who are find providing identity proofs to a new casino.
933  Economy / Economics / Re: Effective Covid-19 vaccine found on: November 11, 2020, 03:41:22 PM
If they have a vaccine that is really over 90% effective, then we should look forward to other vaccine producers coming up with their own vaccines soon as well.

I read a question and answer article on this Pfizer and BioNtech vaccine and they said 40,000 people were tested. The company has said they will only be able to produce vaccines for 15 to 20 million people for now and that’s about 30/40 million vaccines. So, it’s important that other producers get in and start testing and releasing their own vaccines as long as it’s going to be as effective as this Pfizer vaccine, and also having none or minor side effects.
934  Other / Archival / Re: Hong Kong bans retail trading of digital currencies on: November 11, 2020, 07:44:06 AM
That depends on what they mean by retail trading of bitcoin, because anyone can decide to send Bitcoin to another person and have them give them cash, so is that what they are referring to or people who open up a business space for the main purpose of buying and selling of Bitcoin. Here that I am staying, retail is the trend and that’s because people see it as more profitable than when they are trading with exchanges.

There are always so many people that would want to sell their cryptocurrencies to you face to face than those that would make use of exchanges to sell them.
935  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden and Cryoto on: November 11, 2020, 07:03:31 AM
How do we speculate if bitcoin and crypto shall prosper under the Biden administration than it does under Trump administration.
We shouldn’t be speculating, I think it is best we wait for him to enter the office and we will know what are his views on crypto. I have not seen anything about him talking about cryptocurrencies before, so I can’t just start speculating and making wrong statements that will possibly discourage a lot of people.

Let’s just hope that they don’t place more of these strict regulations that will tighten up everywhere and become a burden for cryptocurrency exchanges. And I also hope that they don’t pass some crazy laws that are going to discourage people and make them scared to buy cryptocurrencies.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Hoping that its the end of corona virus on: November 11, 2020, 06:23:43 AM
the vaccine will be available next year, and the end of the corona virus will also end next year,
my prediction is in Quarter 2 or 3 2021 The vaccine is ready, I am really excited about next year,
the question is whether this will have an impact on crypto currency?
Even WHO is not sure when they will have a vaccine for the virus so any speculations we make are hopeful and not sure if any of the predictions will come true although I too feel like the vaccine is now near the edge and might be out soon.

I don't think the virus ever had any impact on Bitcoins although the drop that happened in March remains suspicious and I haven't been able to locate any article that explains the real reason behind that while some say that it happened because people cashed their assets which include bitcoins just to maintain their portfolio and equity in stock market but all these are again just speculations.
937  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com |Instant BTC & ETH withdrawals | Live Games & Slots! |Rakeback |VIP on: November 11, 2020, 05:38:59 AM
When someone comes into any casino and they end up losing too much money, they are going to claim that the fault is not with them and the casino rigged the system to make them lose.
That happens and it is basically called as raging after losing, I often roll dice and in chats people are shouting that they lost 10-12 bets in a row and it is impossible but the truth is that they had the option to verify their bets and if they feel they are cheated better to prove it and make the casino lose it's players rather than raging. With provably fair system into play you can easily prove it.

What these type of "special" people do not realize is the fact that casino is "rigged" as it is already, they have the house edge and provably fair which means they are not telling you any lies, they are telling you that they are going to win in the end, no matter how much you think you are winning, you will end up losing all of your money, nobody keeps this a secret from you.
But you know there have been instances when games have been rigged via various methods like skipping of the winning rolls so I believe it is fine to doubt any casino although I have myself played at duelbits and nothing abnormal happened with me at least.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam? on: November 10, 2020, 04:20:09 PM
From my point of view, it is not those crowdfunding methods are a scam but people who are taking advantage of hyped technologies for their own benefits. Wherever they will see the opportunity to scam investors, will make that try. So crypto investors must be ready and cautious for golden looking technologies and related projects.
The best way to avoid these scams is to actually wait for their promised product to be ready and then invest although you will get the token at a slightly higher cost but at least you know they have something solid to get the price going and the market will respond slowly but surely.

There is no way one can differentiate between scam and legit tokens in the ICO phase because there are way too many scams and more like 5-10% are legit and the scam ones actually advertise and popularize themselves better than the legit ones so it is nearly impossible to spot them hence use the safe method and wait for a big exchange listing or at least some progress on the product they promised.
939  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin over $10,000 for the past 66 days on: November 10, 2020, 03:24:10 PM
I've doubted that bitcoin will fall again at the end of the year Since New Year and Christmas is near and people surely use their bitcoin to spend the festival.
I think this what happens in 2017. But since it's highly volatile so I am not 100% sure if it happens or not.
No matter what happens I will still hold my all coins until it reaches to 20k
Yeah, actually the price hardly ever falls during the end of year because like you mentioned people spend their coins but there might be other reasons as well because I imagine the shopping with bitcoins cannot have a massive impact on the price. There might be other reasons like the year comes to an end so people invest their spare funds into bitcoin or something like that maybe.

I agree that we might see a $20k soon and anyone selling now will only regret but that doesn't mean I am trying to stop someone from selling because the market is so volatile that you better take your own decisions.
940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin still feasible? Profit or loss? on: November 10, 2020, 02:40:05 PM
We can not expect much from altcoins during this occasion. We are in one of the biggest crises, the Presidential election is being held and many people are losing their job. The economy, although, is recovering quite fast, people only consider safe assets such as gold or bitcoin to invest or at least hold for something special. Altcoins will soon have their performance, but this is not a good time for them.
But, to be frank the impact of the fiat economy has minimal impact on the prices of cryptocurrency as you might have seen how Bitcoin is moving which clearly indicates that the crypto market is not dependent completely on the economy of a particular country or even as a whole of them because if that was the case Bitcoins would have finished in March when the price dropped along with the pandemic all around.

I do agree that the current time is not the best time for altcoins but that is not because of the economy but because the bitcoin is doing so good that it is not worth investing into alts right now and if you are invest just do so in bitcoins.
