921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I go with Bitcoin or Altcoins for the upcoming bull run cycle? on: September 09, 2023, 08:45:55 PM
It’s certainly your own choice and not for others to decide. Simply because it’s your money that will be compromised if ever you decide to follow other people’s decison.

Personally, it’s always a good choice if you have sufficient amount of bitcoin in your portfolio and a little of established altcoins as well. Because when the bull run happens, it’s not just bitcoin price that will be bullish but also the other potential altcoins too. However, if you are struggling with your funds, then it’s safer to chose bitcoin over altcoins. That way, you will have guarantees to be profitable in the future as long as you intend to hold them tight for long term hodling.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: September 09, 2023, 05:28:47 PM
But here, in this new weight class, it's not all about the power, it's going to be a thinking game as well. Like you said, Takuma is not well known for his power and yet he has won the belt. Because he has that intelligent and hopefully the camp of Ancajas will have a good game plan here, otherwise it will be Ancajas 3rd lost in 4th fight which is not good for the former champion.

It's a new journey for Ancajas, and he should forget his losses and simply learn from them. He should strive to win the belt currently held by Takuma, as if I'm not mistaken, the Philippines doesn't have a world champion anymore. Losing this fight won't help his future, as if he keeps losing, opportunities will keep fading as well. So personally, I'm rooting for him to win and betting on him as well. It's a tough situation, considering this fight will happen on the home court of the champion. Ancajas needs to be impressive so that judges would award him the win in case no one goes down.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 09, 2023, 04:41:49 PM

Well, if that's the case then there is a big chance that we can see the fight that we have been waiting for all these years. A fight where Casimero and Inoue will finally share the same ring and make the argument end once and for all. Although, after saying that, that also means that we're truly underestimating Tapales here because we're already assuming that by then Inoue is still the champion and that Tapaes was just a mere ladder to achieve Inoue's target.

I think every boxing fan wants to see that fight happen since that was the only fight for Inoue to prove he is the real monster if he beat Casimero, it would be a great accomplishment for him since he found the last piece of the puzzle for his achievement. As for Tapales, he won't have any chance to win the fight and it would be just a waste of belts to fight Inoue right now. Maybe he needs more time until he fights Inoue but if he really wants to try his luck then it's really up to him.

Tapales probably sees an opportunity in fighting Inoue; it's the money he would make, which is bigger compared to fighting an unknown boxer who would be his challenger. He's seizing the opportunity, win or lose; he would make a decent paycheck. But if he wins via an upset, it will be life-changing for him, and he will be recognized all over the world. With that to happened, I'm sure there are more opportunities waiting for him.

.we are all know that once a champion will have a fight against challenger then he can not say that he can earn a lot of money or even he can receives a good offer cause as we all know that only few around the world will watch your fights. Unless a champion vs champion then we can say that there a lot of people want to watch cause they will know that both fighter a re champion then they will see a good fight for sure.

The purse is already a guaranteed amount a boxer would receive, with additional earnings coming from PPV and other advertisements, depending on the outcome of the fight. In my opinion, the style of the boxers matters a lot because most of the boxers who are KO artists attract fans significantly, as they entertain the fans. This is unlike the boxers who are boring in the ring. Additionally, a champion vs. champion matchup does not guarantee good money, especially if both boxers do not take risks by being aggressive. To be specific, I don't find the styles of Haney and Shaku entertaining, which is why they don't generate good PPV numbers.
924  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What did you do After Reaching your Bitcoin Goal? on: September 08, 2023, 08:22:39 PM
I may reach my Bitcoin goal very soon all thanks to majorly the Dollar Cost Averaging strategy. I have been investing some specific amount into Bitcoin every month since the past couple of years. I have been at least 80% consistent in doing that through the dips and the funds and the bears and the pumps. The question that's been on my heart is what do I do when I finally reach this goal: set a new one and DCA or just keep DCAing without any goal in mind. If you have reached reached your Bitcoin goal what did you do after then?
Always know that bitcoin is not the only potential investments in the market. You could start a new goal through acquiring some real estate or invest in gold. For me, that’s probably my next in line when I come to maximize my bitcoin investment. Although I believe that bitcoin investment has no end, so if you can also add more investments to it, then that will definitely make your life more valuable and meaningful to live with.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 08, 2023, 02:25:45 PM
I would love to see another upset hehe. Serbia vs. Germany in the Finals would be nice to see as there's more balance between the two teams. It's more favorable to bettors as odds are most likely going to be even.

There’s a potential for another upset since USA is down by 10pts with 5 minutes remaining on the 4th quarter. I’m sensing same vibes with Canada vs Serbia since USA can’t cut the lead while team like Germany is very good on holding on lead by just answering every aggression of USA and provide good defense.

I’m surprised too about the result of both games since this is semi finals while dominant team usually play more aggressive on this round.

It's not over yet, plenty of time, Edwards has taken over and a double digit of Germany is down to 3 points now.

Edit

Germany defeated the USA by only 2 points. Although Edwards was the reason for the big comeback, he was also the reason why they lost due to his costly turnover. The lack of communication in the dying seconds of the game really hurt them. What can I say? Germany played great defense, and their excellent chemistry was on display.

The MVP for the game, in my opinion, is Dennis Schröder. With him on the floor, the offense runs smoothly.

926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 08, 2023, 02:03:47 PM
< he might start off the bench because there no extra position for him to fill in while for the meantime, he will be a back up for Davis.

For me, having a player with length like Davis makes him a good backup, even though he may not be as strong as Davis in terms of rebounding and defense. However, giving Davis some rest would already be helpful, as every game feels different when Davis is on the court. He has the ability to bring a positive energy that elevates the team's performance. There shouldn't be any issues with the Lakers on the defensive end, given their height advantage. I'm confident that their coach knows how to manage the roster, so let's wait and see.

Davis is extraordinary talent Wood cannot easily replace his performance but adding him on the roster is really a great addition to them knowing that he can also provide some good performance to the minutes given to him. To many changes happen to them so for sure this is also need some huge adjustment to them so let see if they can work together since the issue now is their chemistry since Lakers always change their roster every season opener so might they will get a problem on rosters chemistry.

They have enough time to build that chemistry; they were even impressive last season despite forming a good roster later in the season. They only fell to the Nuggets, who had already built good chemistry. But they will be back with a new season, just adding some players, and I'm almost certain that the chemistry will be well-established. LeBron and Davis remain the leaders of the team, and seeing them healthy gives the Lakers a strong chance of winning another championship.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Frank Martin - tentative date 11/16 or 12/9 on: September 08, 2023, 07:41:48 AM

I have seen his fight highlights, and I can already tell he would lose to Shakur. His style is inferior to Shakur's, knowing that Shakur loves to box and is very quick. So, I doubt Martin would be able to score a KO or even hurt Shakur. I think the scenario we are going to see here will be Shakur vs. Oscar Valdez, so Shakur will likely win via a unanimous decision.

Checking the poll and the comments here nobody picked Martin to beat Shakur, Shakur is so good that even an undefeated fighter with a good knockout ratio can challenge Shakur, the poll and the discussion will end picking Shakur unanimously as the winner, Martin is a big underdog here and Shakur a heavy favorite, I just hope Martin can give Shakur a good fight and this fight is a breakthrough fight for Martin, but not yet his time to fight a heavy favorite like Shakur.
This fight is more like a tuneup fight for Shakur against Haney, and this is a very good tune fight for him.

Yes, they are creating a lot of hype on Frank Martin or at least his team, but we all know that Shakur is just above the current set of 135 lbs fighters, maybe except Haney or Tank Davis.

But currently they wanted to test him with Martin but then again, Martin might be good but as you have said, he is the big underdog and the best scenario is go and test Shakur chin, that is if he can target it as Shakur is also known to have a good defense. So most likely a tune up fight and winning here could land him a fight for the belt.

He can only test Shakur's chin if he can hit him. Given Shakur's style, his opponents would have a hard time imposing their offense on him, as he is a very slick fighter. He moves around and uses his jab very well. Martin doesn't have the quickness and power to match Shakur, so I think they can only increase the hype. But I wouldn't be surprised if the fans were disappointed in the actual fight.
928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found Facebook trading group they work with signals wolf of wstreet on: September 07, 2023, 09:59:15 PM
This what i found over 400 members i'll join becouse i want to trade together like team they are ispired by wall Street ...i like to slogan "u got to pump up rookie numbers "  Nice idea

Their Facebook link so far looking decent group

Link: https://m.facebook.com/groups/3093147371003425/
I’m afraid to say that you won’t end up in a Wall Street in the end and just see yourself losing all the way. That is why be cautious not to fall from every trading groups that look decent because you’ll never know that it’s just their own strategy to lure people at the end of the day. While some may be lucky and get good profits, a lot of them have been suffering from constant losses in the app.
929  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin and get rich quick syndrome on: September 07, 2023, 08:58:12 PM
You are right with this. Reality is bitcoin is never a get rich quick tool, but an instant way to lose your funds if you are not cautious. With that, I mean to say those who invest for greed, those who invest because of FOMO, and those who invest and trade because bitcoin is in a big hype. When you fall on all of these, you will certainly realize that there’s no easy and quick way to get profits with bitcoin, all should endure hardship and losses at first.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: September 07, 2023, 02:11:16 PM
I haven't seen enough hype about this fight. The media is more focused on Canelo and Crawford nowadays. I wonder if Eddie made the right call by signing Regis Prograis and Devin Haney. These guys aren't cheap and will be paid millions of dollars but they need to sell tickets, PPV, and convince companies for sponsorships. Maybe the fans are tired of Haney's boring style and while Prograis packs a punch, he is not that popular to the casuals.

Fight is still months to go so there are no hype currently. But maybe when the fight approaches, they are going to sell this fight as both are trash talkers. I do agree that Eddie might have sign this boxers for good amount of money so he needs to get it back. But not sure how, they need some good storyline to sell this fight to the boxing fans. And Eddie might be losing money in the end.

There's only one reason why the fight was moved: people are not interested in watching it. I'm not sure if this will really happen despite the announcement that it could take place later this year. It still depends on how the fans will react to this fight. If it's not going to be profitable for the promoters, it will likely be off this year. I would bet on the outcome; I think it's not going to happen this year.

With lots of exciting fights happening now, who would want to watch Haney, a somewhat boring boxer, against a non-popular champion?
931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 06, 2023, 09:51:21 PM
I was tempted to use trading bots but it never reaches towards my high expectation on it so I end up trusting my own knowledge and experience in trading because that is more reliable than trusting my trades into a robot. Note that trading is always a battle of minds and emotions, and if you think you’re not capable to manage your emotions and increase your trading resources, then do your own diligence to learn all by yourself but never resort into using trading bots because they are not worthy of our funds.
932  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin really risky as they say? on: September 04, 2023, 06:44:02 PM
All types of investment have definitely its own individual’s risk. And bitcoin being a high risk asset requires more knowledge and understanding from its buyer so he won’t end up increasing its risk itself. However, the good thing about high risky investments is that they also promise bigger amount of future profits. And bitcoin is a living proof. Moreover, if you can’t afford to buy a single bitcoin, then do the DCA and buy portion of bitcoin every time you’re capable to do it.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 04, 2023, 01:41:41 PM
So consistency is the key although we wanted for to him impressively. I guess we are used to seeing this man knocking people out. But he should focus one fight at a time, this time is opponent doesn't have a good record so hopefully he can win and it could be a added bonus if that is a big knockout. And then after that, maybe he can chase Inoue. If no Inoue then just continue with fighting good boxers like Nery.

Consistency is no longer a problem for him, as he hasn't lost a fight in the current division he is competing in. Yes, as long as he has more fights and keeps winning, his ranking will likely improve, and he might become a mandatory challenger. Hopefully, by that time, Inoue is still in the same division so they can face each other, putting an end to the speculation.

This fight isn't what we were expecting. Personally, I thought Casimero would face a tougher opponent, but he ended up fighting a less active boxer. The only positive aspect of this fight is that it will be held in Japan. If Casimero continues to taunt Inoue, fans may start calling for a showdown between them, which would be beneficial for both fighters and us as fans, as it's a matchup we want to see.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: September 04, 2023, 08:45:38 AM

If you look at the physique of both of them Francis Ngannou is more likely to have a body posture that looks strong and tough so he can withstand every hug from Tyson Fury.
In this heavyweight fight we are waiting to see who is truly the strongest and deserves to be called a heavyweight monster.

This comparison isn't quite apt. While Ngannou may appear physically tougher than Fury, you can't discount Fury's achievements in boxing. He's undefeated and currently holds the heavyweight championship. I'm not sure if you've seen him fight against boxers with strong physiques, but he has beaten them. One of the most notable boxers he defeated was Wilder, a KO artist, but Fury identified his weaknesses and exploited them during the fight. Fury is a smart boxer, and he wouldn't allow himself to lose to a fighter who isn't a boxing pro. So, it's important not to set overly high expectations for Ngannou; you might end up disappointed.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 04, 2023, 08:15:03 AM
He's not a good player to trade for Giannis. There's no question that Davis is talented, but it's a big gamble for the Bucks to accept Davis because he's known to be injury-prone. While we're not hoping he will get injured, history has shown that he has been plagued by injuries most of the time. This is also the reason he was traded to the Lakers from the Pelicans.
The Bucks don't want him. PERIOD.

Can Davis be the franchise player of the Bucks? How can you put your trust into a player who's injury prone, and anytime, there's a chance that he might be out for the whole season? If healthy, he is a double-double machine, and one of the best bigs out there, but there's an "IF" on it. His performance last season is pretty well. Lesser injuries, and played well, but still there are still doubts if he can sustain to play that way knowing that he's been injured, and play only a few games for a number of years in the past.

The Bucks don't want to risk getting Davis for Giannis, and they will rather find another team that can give them better players than the Lakers. I believe those who has many draft picks are the ones that has the highest chance in getting him.

I'm curious now because, as far as I know, Giannis was rumored not to re-sign with the Bucks once he becomes a free agent. So, why are we discussing a possible trade here? I also gave my opinion about the potential trade, but now I realize that, is the trade really going to happen?

Since there are no trade rumors, all the discussions about which team could potentially land Giannis and which players would be exchanged for him don't make sense.

Perhaps the more appropriate discussion is which team could potentially sign Giannis in the upcoming offseason.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When to invest in bitcoin on: September 03, 2023, 09:38:46 PM
As always, the best market entry when to invest in bitcoin is definitely when the prices are all bearish, meaning everything is in bargain sale. And of course, having sufficient funds is a must at least so you can maximize taking the advantage of buying low and selling high. Moreover, with great knowledge and skills in bitcoin investment comes an over all package that you’re set to invest and be successful with bitcoin.
937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My experience as a beginner trader on: September 03, 2023, 07:01:17 PM
There are no experience mate Grin you lose  as a beginner to become a stronger trader  Smiley so for everyone out there thinking of QUITTING QUITTING is not the option here just keep learning  till you  can say "Gone are those days " Grin

Quitting is an option if;

- A person doesn't have an interest in doing trades in the first place and the reason why they consider doing trade is because they saw someone earning decent money here. Thinking of having the same experience, they just test the waters.

- After a long series of doing trades, still failure dominates the trading stats. Better change careers.

- Only genius during the bull run but ended up silent in a bear run

Professional and experienced traders still losing today as no one can withstand the volatile crypto market. However, traders at these levels already know some set of strategies on how to deal with any market trend and can adapt to any market situation anytime.
Well said. If you are no longer comfortable from consistent losing in trading, then quitting would be the best option as it could pave way for a new successful career that will let you feel satisfied with your current compensation wherein trading has fail to offer. Sometimes, it’s better to end than to prolong the suffering you experienced from unwanted career, that way you will have chances to improve your means of living. This is one of the reasons why trading isn’t for everyone.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 03, 2023, 01:34:50 PM
Big win by Germany against Slovenia; I think they are the real deal in this tournament.

The spread was -4.5 in favor of Germany, making them slight favorites, but it turned out to be a massacre as they routed Slovenia.

The final score was 100-71, with Dennis Schröder still leading the scoring for Germany with 24 points. It's a significant statement win, and if I'm not mistaken, they remain undefeated.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 03, 2023, 12:08:41 PM
Yup, even they win this one with a huge margin there's nothing that can be done for the host team to be qualified for the next olympics, we missed our chance losing from the last 4 games, a good learning experienced for the rest of the team and for sure if being handle by the same managements it will be the same exact reason, " A good learning experienced"

Oh well, just wanna congrats all those bettors who managed to place their support betting for the home team and earned decently after the game.
We are against the top teams, and we cannot blame the whole team for this as they performed their best and yet fell short. I agree about the statement of Coach Chot that other top teams didn’t even qualify for the next round and yet and we expecting to see Philippines in the next round? Maybe we are just expecting too much but its finally good to see our first win, we wish the team Gilas for a better years to come, we still have time to play next time.

The Samahang Basketbol of Pilipinas that manages the Gilas, spends big money for that event and talking about the salary, Jordan Clarkson alone has around Php 56,000,000 salary. Just try to do the math for all Gilas salary combined. They also spend much on long preparation for this event and there are lots of adjustments made the whole year just to be fully prepared.

If it's alright to just lose as other top teams didn't qualify for the next round, why still focus on basketball preparation? It's just reasonable for Pinoy fans to expect the Philippines to enter the next round because the country prioritize this sport compared to other sports that we are much good and better in the international event.

JC deserves that huge amount as he is an NBA player. Yes, they spent a lot of money on this event, but unfortunately, we didn't get what we wanted. Coach Chot stepping aside was probably the best thing that happened because with his departure, we can expect a new system to be put in place, making our players more capable in both offense and defense.

As JC said, that was not his last time playing with Gilas; he loves to play with Gilas. So, the longer he plays, the more he will develop great chemistry, and maybe next time, he will be able to join the early preparations.

I think with a better coach, the outcome could have been different; maybe a 2-2 record would have been quite reasonable.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 03, 2023, 11:13:25 AM
There is also a wild speculation on Giannis, him and Anthony Davis of LA Lakers for a 1:1 trade? I'm not sure though if the Lakers are going to make this trade, but for me this make sense. AD is already fragile and we all know that it was a cringe to watch him attempting to get rebounds or block shot as he might get injured once he lands down. This is just speculation though. Everything though depends on the performance of the Buck and Giannis, or maybe this is a sign that they might not be as good as the previous years as everyone for sure have heard about Giannis comments and it might have crack the relationship of the team right now.

If I were the General Manager of the Milwaukee Bucks, this trade would never happen even if Anthony Davis improves a lot from last season. As he is already known to be injury-prone, I would not invest in a player with a history of injuries like Anthony Davis. Giannis has had some injury issues in the past but they haven't been as like Anthony Davis is. I would consider accepting the trade if it included additional players like Austin Reaves not just Anthony Davis.

Correct! Why bother to trade your superstar with someone who is known to be an injury-prone player? that's make no sense at all.

Though on some side both are really playing great and the impact is not by far but investment wise, for me, I'll rather
add more money for Giannis' deal instead of letting him go.

Giannis is an all-around player and if he will play with someone who can meet his level of competitiveness, chance that
they may win another title is still possible.
