921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin a good investment in this pendamic situation? on: July 11, 2021, 10:15:52 PM
Just the price itself is a proof that it isn't a bad investment just take a look how much it goes up during the pandemic,
I think it is enough proof that those people believe that it is a good one to invest and not just Bitcoin but also other crypto as well.
Crypto has been the main source of income by most of us during this pandemic because they lost their jobs or even businesses.
Yes,its  possible but always mind off about the risk involved and dont go all in or put loaned money on it because we know that everything isnt guaranteed on crypto space.

We are on a pandemic situation on where majority cant really that afford on making out investment since we do need to save up for essentials for us to survive specially into those

who do lost up their jobs but if you do really tend to risk then its either you do make profits or lose money but of course you wont be losing anything when you dont sell anything.

It is not really advisable to risk your borrowed money into this market. Even if we say the crypto you will be investing has high chance to go up, but still the risk is high. In this market, it is smart to use your extra funds. At least when something goes sideways, you don't have to answer to anyone about the lost funds.

But if you can afford, btc for me is good for long-term investment. But if you go into short-term, maybe do the scalping strategy to earn profits. But you need to be careful, as one wrong move, and all your small profits will be wiped off.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Difficulty Bomb Delayed Again on: July 11, 2021, 04:36:06 AM
looks like the ethereum developers are doing it very carefully. of course, they don't want to rush to launch it perfectly. all very well processed. I'm sure those who support ETH by holding it in their wallets will surely reap the rewards of their long patience.
I think it's okay for the delay, although the current position of smart contract adoption is indeed mostly dominated by BSC who take advantage of this situation. everyone will still know how ETH is a real lion.

It is okay to have delays as long as they can commit with their deliverables. Maybe, next time, before eth team will give certain timeline of their next event, just provide allowances from their end so even if there are internal delays, it will not be far from their target schedule. But the nice thing about eth team is they do deliver and more. So I think the price of eth will continue to increase. Interesting what will happen this Aug 4 with their price level.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC] Eloncoin - Mars, here we come!! 🚀 - POS Energy Efficient. on: July 10, 2021, 11:57:28 PM
Definitely, lightlord will not ruin his reputation here. It may be a meme coin but he is not asking for anything to fund this project. I thought at first, this is just a joke but when I read that he is looking for people to manage some of the activities here, it means, he is pretty serious on this project. Let us see what goals he wants for this project, different one from his gambling sites.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: July 10, 2021, 11:33:32 PM
NFT is still not at the level where we can use its full potential. The idea of being unique is the most valuable thing in almost any environment. NFT is not only interesting artwork, it can also be used in the form of title deeds, royalty, ID, etc. so yea, it's glowing.
i agree, i think it did not reach all the attention yet, there is high potential that it could go way better from here, so for sure it is still hot, even though i am not really invested in it yet but i think NFT's are still in their first steps for big success.
this is just the beginning. and I think there will be a better future for the NFT project. we are now seeing more and more exchanges listing NFT assets for trading. this will make big progress in the crypto market.
very true, and check this out https://www.boxingnewsandviews.com/2021/07/09/mike-tyson-gets-into-the-nft-crypto-asset-space/ Mike Tyson is now supporting and helping the NFT community to grow more, @1ofoneNFT tweeted "It's official... Welcome to 1ofOne @MikeTyson" and i think this is what can make it even more popular, celebrities joining in, they influence a lot of people, literally one tweet can change a lot.

And don't forget also, the likes of Paris Hilton going to NFT industry -

https://www.coindesk.com/paris-hilton-nfts-powering-female-creators-future-of-art

I think, there will be more artists/singers/athletes that will explore the NFT industry. This will be another money making machine for them. This is just in the early phase. So I don't think NFT will die down soon because these personalities are finding out its significance to their industry.
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the currencies in the movie are Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 11:20:51 PM
Simple;
Not all people are into Bitcoin in Bitcoin or interested in Bitcoin or know Bitcoin.
If you are the movie producer, you will probably have a target audience, base on what genre your movie is.
You will use all terms that your target audience will easily understand the movie and everything talking in the movie.
So it's difficult. Just my 2 cents.

And if they will dedicate a movie only with bitcoin as currency, they will only gain small percentage of audience. And one of their aims is to generate money from what they are making. So nope, they can't sacrifice with that. Unless, their aim is to educate people with bitcoin and they don't aim to earn money from it. But that I think is still far from happening.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH sheep, buy now? on: July 10, 2021, 11:10:13 PM
So far ETH has always maintained a higher behavior than BTC, but in these moments where BTC has touched $ 34k and then has fallen a bit, it is necessary to highlight that the ETH bulls have fallen asleep a bit:
-
Quote
Ethereum (ETH) has bounced off the support at $2,084. However, growth has not followed it. If the rate of the main altcoin fixes below it, there are good chances of seeing a sharp decline to the next support zone around $1,730.
Source: https://u.today/btc-eth-bnb-ada-and-doge-price-analysis-for-july-10

In general, ETH always rises faster than BTC, but this time I think that due to the uncertainty the bulls have not wanted to risk, I think it is a matter of time before they can give a bullish surprise.

Maybe, eth will surprise us this coming aug 4, once they deployed their london hard fork. It may not follow the btc trend but they will have their own trend. So right now, it is up to use if we will buy or not. The event is upcoming so the potential of increasing its price is very likely to happen. The good thing here is that there's really development going on in this network, so you have hopes that they can deliver.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre-Sale] GoMeat 🚀 Empowering The Specialty Meat Industry 🚀 on: July 10, 2021, 10:58:45 PM
The pre sale is ongoing, 25% of the soft cap already met and will be ending by on the 24th of august. We are currently running a 20% bonus offer for the duration of the pre ICO only. Sign up and buy now.  Cheesy

https://gomeat.io/icopanel
So far you get 25% of softcap? Well that is unbelievable, so more than $100K is in your storage right now. I see 4 step of funding plan, 3 of them are take place in Q3 2021, so the time is shorter than now. Can we assume that your funding will be end at the middle of Q4 2021 later?
What if the softcap is not meet, what's gonna be? Will it continue to run with sufficient funds? Although it seems to have a great chance of hitting softcap.

I just hope that this project will truly implement their objectives here and not fail their investors. Even if they will not hit their hard cap, whatever they raised can already be used to fund their developments. This industry is not very well explored. So it would be great if they can realized their targets here. And be a good example in this meat industry. If they can actually make this work, they can easily expand their business and maybe other countries will follow.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Nint Coin ★★★ A Coin that is built by Individual Creativity ★★★ on: July 10, 2021, 10:05:34 PM
This project is also deploying their own exchange, ctreet. It is premature to claim that you are the best platform for crypto trading, because you are not. Binance is still the top 1, and before you surpass all the other popular crypto exchanges, you need to build your trading platform first, and attract traders. The usual bottleneck is at the beginning, how can you increase the trading volume in your platform?
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Cardano really reach 20$+ near end of year? on: July 10, 2021, 09:25:37 PM
I've been seeing many price speculations on ADA. Some say that its impossible due to market cap and some say it has so much potential to do it. What would be the sensible valuation you think it could be near end and why?

There is still hope to reach $ 20, there is nothing difficult in crypto, the market can skyrocket up to hundreds of percent is normal, if the september market is still like now of course the highest price that can be achieved is around $ 3.

Yes, the possibility is always there especially ADA is already in the top 5. It means, it has great potential. However, $20 is a lil bit high for this year. But if ADA will be aggressive in their developments, and projects will be built under their network, the chance of increasing its price is high. However, be conservative with estimates because $20 I believe, is still high for ADA to attain this early. We need to see more updates from this network.
930  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a pattern when there is a dump like this? on: July 10, 2021, 11:07:03 AM

Expect the unexpected, but some says buy when fear are everywhere, it's not that easy to expect and there's no real formula to calculate what market will bring you in the next following hours/days.

If there's an actual blueprint that even newcomers can  follow money can easily flow around. But reality wise there's none.

or maybe only those big whales who can made statement and impacts who can recognized.  Roll Eyes Wink

OP's question is very hard to answer as every case is different. And yes, there's no real formula here as the situation is very subjective and the factors involved are not the same. You just need to keep your eyes open and in time, you will see some trend. But no one can give you the exact recipe on this market. The pattern yesterday may not be true today.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin comes first and blockchain comes later on: July 09, 2021, 11:59:05 PM
Well, blockchain was created for the purpose of keeping trqck record on bitcoin activities. I guess there is no need to elaborate which comes first because in the first place blpckchain is already part of plan to integrate in bitcoin system. The project bitcoin has been plan prior to implementation and also had made some thorough run through before it has been introduce to public for consumption or put to good use.

They go side by side. And there's no need to argue which comes first because they are invented on the same period. The other one will not exist without the other. And what is the significance when the other comes first? I don't think there's really point of arguing on this topic. Blockchain is the digital ledger of transactions so it is important for bitcoin itself. This will give you idea what are the early transactions made in btc network. Without blockchain, we won't know the history of bitcoin.

932  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why is Singapore so popular? on: July 09, 2021, 01:53:02 PM
In my opinion, crypto-friendly countries like Singapore will not immediately allow crypto without doing research first, so they already understand all the pros and cons. Singapore is a country that is quite rich, their political situation is also stable, so the development of new technologies will be very easy in such countries.
The Singapore government certainly understands how much money can enter their country through crypto and they catch this very well.

They are also considered like the technohub in Asia. So as much as possible, new innovations and advancements in technology like this crypto, they want to get a hold first but of course, they will be doing their job of understanding it. This is why they are open to this kind of new tech. If some are hesitant to accept this new currency, they are very open on the other hand. So the laws or protocols towards crypto are not that strict as they want to accommodate this tech as much as possible.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The market turns into Bear, does defi still have a chance? on: July 08, 2021, 11:52:36 PM
I think DeFi will continue to thrive for the next few years, especially during a bear market, people can stake or become a liquidity provider as a way to maintain the value of their assets until the bullrun returns.
It might continue to thrive but as for the demand, I'm not sure if it will be the same. But the trend continues and keeps going on with the world getting an idea how cryptocurrencies are good for us as an investment.

And with such exploration mostly being done by the newbies, they might find out that it's a good way to get into even if a bear market occurs.

DeFi system can survive but the question is which among them can? So you need to choose wisely when you decide to farm/stake or provide LP in one of these DeFi platforms. Because not all can sustain the interest of their farmers and they will just hop from one DeFi platform to another. Better evaluate the foundation of the platform that you are going to participate with, so you know what you are earning in your farm will still be valuable once you decide to harvest.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN] ॐ AKASHA ॐ an Ethereum Clone for Religious Purposes on: July 08, 2021, 11:07:18 PM
uhhhhh? I think your head is in the clouds. This post seems very scatter brained and kind of out there.

They need to get together and contemplate on what they want to do here. And there's no need to post every activity or struggle they are experiencing with. People want output. So no matter how they do it, just deliver it to the community. Otherwise, this will just be ignored and be forgotten.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Number of altcoins keep increasing! on: July 07, 2021, 11:55:31 PM
I see alot of altcoins and tokens been introduced into the market every day and I keep wondering if that is how this industry will keep growing.  The number of altcoins does not translate to increase in the over all market capitalization of the cryptocurrencies market and it that means that some of the coins we currently have in the market is not needed!

Even the number of altcoins increased in this type of business industry, it won't affect the market.
If that happens that is because there are a lot of altcoins too that are dying or already dead here in crypto space.
So for me, if this thing happened we really need to be careful in choosing coins here.

Only few percentage of these thousand alts has active development. Most of them are already dead and long time abandoned. So even if new alts are coming up, still few of them will survive. It is better to see new projects because we will see which of them will indeed end up realizing their objectives. There are so many industries to explore, this is why we have seen various projects. But only few of them can implement what they are talking.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Die today, Die tommorrow, the same dying! still get vaccinated! on: July 07, 2021, 10:08:10 PM
I'm still surprised that there are still people who feel that the covid vaccine is dangerous for the body. let's use the time well, do good, and don't hide your assets from family.

You are one of those who blindly believe in media propaganda that vaccines are safe, but these are vaccines that have not been sufficiently tested, and for which it is not known at all what effect they have in the long run. More than 10 000 deaths are currently under investigation in the EU, all linked to covid vaccines, and those with mild or severe side effects are measured in the hundreds of thousands. Since they started vaccinating children under the age of 18, a very large number of deaths have been recorded - all of them were healthy children and without any need to be vaccinated.

Pharma industries are in the race for this covid vaccine, so high likely that they really didn't have enough trials for different types/conditions of the body. We can say maybe, some are premature but if they passed the minimum requirements, they are good to go. But they have different efficacy on different people. As trials are not that wide and varied, they don't know the after effect of the vaccine for certain rare conditions of the body.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥⭐[ANN]⭐ Kooopa - A community driven gaming network powered by a crypto 🔥⭐ on: July 07, 2021, 09:04:00 PM
Another project that supports the gamer community, let's see how far, because some that I met can't reach the level of e-sports, just bullshit. As far as I know if it's related to E-Sports, it won't be easy to achieve. What's your plan? are there some people who will make it easier for you?
I see you have partnership, what kind of partners did you do with those four great projects? Just displaying their names there at will?

The partners listed are eth and polygon. I don't think you can consider them as partner if they will be building their platform under these networks. It is more of, they will be deploying their project on these networks. And I think SSG is their partner to build this gaming network. They need to have something to offer before launching their IDO. Otherwise, it would be hard for them to raise money if the investors are not seeing any tangible developments with their project.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cake Coin good for Passive Income? on: July 06, 2021, 11:55:05 PM
as long as the conditions of the exchange are good and always make the price of the cake go up then it can certainly provide quite a lot of income but if the condition of the exchange is collapsing like this then it will make you lose money because the selling price at the exchange is falling, hopefully the pancake platform can last longer so it can keep a lot of people calm.

Yes, it really depends on the exchange performance in the market. And right now, it seems pancake swap is still doing good, so investing even today can give you good profits. But you need to check their volume if they are improving or going down. Because that will give you idea if they are doing good in the business. I guess, those who got early in the farming in pancake already got their initial investments back.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: A message from my bank saying they will not allow me to purchase from Binance on: July 06, 2021, 10:30:02 PM
It is ok, they have anticipated that there will be a massive loss of revenue from the UK region.

Although it's Binance that's being favored and loved by most traders, you still have a lot of choices to trade if your bank won't allow you to use their service to go through Binance.
I disagree that it's going to be alright because that's still a loss no matter how you look at it, isn't UK region a big market for Binance to just let it go that fast and easy and also, are they planning to become legitimate in UK so they can finally get out of the ban?
It is a big market but Binance is the one that did the cause. They don't comply from what's being asked so that sums up that they've anticipated already the loss on their part with that move.

If they didn't ignored the notice and compliance, they won't be banned and they will still be good to operate within UKs jurisdiction.

We don't know what's really going on, but we are not sure if Binance is really not doing anything towards this situation. As they realized that they will lose this market, I think they will start thinking about complying the FCA protocols. Who knows their lawyers are already preparing their docs to comply? Remember, when they see that there's business, they always find a way how to get that market. Let's just wait and see.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next ETH on: July 05, 2021, 11:56:23 PM
Hello guys, what is the next eth in your point of view?? I can see next eth is Polkadot.
Well to think there is new ETH is absurd in my point of view. Polkadot is a good blockchain but i think we just cant compare it with ETH, If you asking next eth by comparing the marketcap or the product i dont think there will be a blockchain as good as ETH in terms of developments and adoptions.

They should aim for their own identity in the market and not chase the achievements of ETH. Because it is very hard to compete with what ETH achieved already. Like DOT, what they need to do is just attract as many projects as they can and entice developers to use their network. Now, we will see if they are satisfied if they will endorse this network to others and will have good word about. If they can attract projects that would be nice for their platform.
