921  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠ Fair.Poker | Provably Fair Bitcoin Texas Hold’em | HTML5 | Play Now! on: May 22, 2019, 10:29:57 AM
So what is the difference of this site to the other poker site?
We already have a trusted site for poker and also do you have any plan for promotion to attract gamblers?
It would be great if you would host a tournament on your site to create a publicity .
922  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where's FOMO at? Tom Lee on: May 22, 2019, 09:37:41 AM
LOL, Tom Lee is permabull so what do you expect? I wouldn't vote neither or any of the choices.  There will be FOMO at different stages as the price increase as well. But I guess FOMO had died down in the last couple of days though, the price goes and settled around $8000 now. But there will be FOMO that's for sure, when the price started to pick up again and run up to $10000.
I agree FOMO would always be there when the price increase it would always be at peoples mind .
And what do you expect when the price hit $10K it would trigger everyone?
And invest continuesly on crypto? Even now it could happen and it could also be the reason why we would hit $10K.
923  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will spending Bitcoin actually be bad for the price? on: May 22, 2019, 09:08:09 AM
Spending it to a merchant is basically trading your crypto into Fiat so it would affect the price but the crypto market is huge so a single transaction would see an effect on it.
Even in a trading site we could see that there are plenty of traders doing it daily but it still continues to grow because of the demand is huge.
So even if we use it to pay in a merchant the price could still hold it unless we are also experiencing a market crash.
And even if Bitcoin gets accepted by merchants only a small percent of crypto user would pay with it since they would rather hold it to gain profit since most of us see's it as an investment not as a payment option.
924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price and Binance on: May 22, 2019, 08:43:59 AM
I don't think that binance has anything to do with the price ,
The issue of binance happen while we are having a great price pump and it didn't affect the pump,
The issue didn't stop the price from increasing and we have faced a great decline for a short period of time but the price manage to get back up again,
And now it is playing around $7,900+ and if I am not mistaken binance is already operating and already allowed withdrawal and deposit function on their site.
925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Going Back to $7,000? on: May 22, 2019, 07:57:12 AM
I don't think that it would be down to $7,000 again it is playing around $7,900-8,000 .
If it does go down the lowest price would be around $7,500 because the investors would surely take the chance to buy it so it wouldn't stay low for a long time.
But if it does break it's current price range then maybe it would start climbing to $10K.
926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Novice trader analysis advice on: May 22, 2019, 07:38:13 AM
Hi

I have recently purchased £200 of bitcoin and want to understand how to read and analysis charts. What would be the most appropriate type of analysis for a newbie?

I am also looking to invest a further £50 in ethereum or should I stick to bitcoin ?

Thanks in advance for you advice  Smiley
Before you try it on a real trading site I suggest that you try out your trading skills in a simulator.
There are already great tips in this forum like this thread and try to read some tips on this thread too,
Just read some of the threads in this forum and you would find some useful tips to trade .
Learn from it first and apply or try it on trading simulator to see if the strategy works for you.
927  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Bitter Critic: "Bitcoin Will be Zero" on: May 22, 2019, 07:14:54 AM
Come on it has been 10 years already and people still believe that Bitcoin would be worthless?
Isn't 10 years enough proof for them ? The price has been increasing each year and they still think that it would go down to zero?
Let them think what they want it wouldn't really matter to us since we already know the truth.
928  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobs Created by the Blockchain & Bitcoin on: May 22, 2019, 06:56:06 AM
Apart from those you mentioned that are directly related to blockchain, I think there are others that might not necessarily be direct to blockchain but they are jobs that have come up because of this new industry, for example, mining which even bring more jobs in electricity generation. There are those who gain directly from bitcoin by trading and buying bitcoin to hodl for a long time.

For instance again, I have read on this thread about people who have left their monthly jobs to do bounties, freelancing and graphics because they are benefiting more than formal jobs. Many are really benefitting indirectly or directly.
Yes it is true I know some people who quit on there jobs back in 2017 because they are earning more in bounty and they control their own time.
Crypto gives opportunity for everyone to earn and it already help so many people.
I myself also earns more than a regular wage earner because of crypto if I would compare the money that I am earning doing trading and signature campaign it would be a lot more than a regular wage earner in my country.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day! on: May 22, 2019, 06:02:51 AM
It's wonderful to see how small things can change with days. Smiley

I'll pay 10,000 bitcoins for a couple of pizzas.. like maybe 2 large ones so I have some left over for the next day.
ender_x >> 10,000... Thats quite a bit.. you could sell those on https://www.bitcoinmarket.com/ for $41USD right now..
laszlo >> So nobody wants to buy me pizza?  Is the bitcoin amount I'm offering too low?
laszlo>> I just want to report that I successfully traded 10,000 bitcoins for pizza.

10,000BTC was equivalent to 41$, (a couple of pizzas,) today many dreams come true.

I saw the 60 Minutes segment with the guy who spent 10,000 BTC, and he says he is not upset that he spent it. Actually, he lives in a nice home and has a nice standard of living. I believe Satoshi sent him that amount based on his contributions to the nascent network. According to today's valuation, that would be worth about $800 million.

There's no regret here since Laszlo is now part of bitcoin history and there is even a special day given in honor of that very historical transaction. Of course, the regret I think is on people like us thinking that we could have been a millionaire already if we were in the shoes of the man. The thing is that nobody can really be sure of the future and that time only a few had the vision enough to see that bitcoin can go as high as today. Remember that bitcoin started as a simple idea with no assurance that it can catch the attention and fancy of this generation and be the symbol of our displeasure with the traditional financial system. Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day, everyone!

This is true the guy isn't having a regret I mean why would he?
Back then it was just around $41 and nobody expect the price of Bitcoin to raise this high.
And I agree why would he have regrets to his action he became legend in crypto industry he would go down in history.
And for sure he still have a good amount of Bitcoin in his hands .
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior Start to Use Blockchain Technology on: May 22, 2019, 05:43:08 AM
Well, it definitely proves that Blockchain Technology is not only good when it comes to cryptos or its transactions but for anything we can think about.

first of all something written on some news site is hardly proof of anything until we actually see things like this in action. the media tends to publish all kinds of crap that most of them aren't even real!
secondly, the real question you should be asking is WHY and WHAT is the benefit. the answer is nothing. this system being described here already exists with a database and works perfectly fine, and most importantly is working efficiently. using a blockchain is not going to improve that but instead make it less efficient and more expensive specially if you use a third party platform like ethereum, before the company had to just add a new entry in their database but now it would have to "pay" hefty fees to include the same thing in an inefficient database called ethereum's blockchain!
so i ask again, what is the benefit of this and why would anybody want to do this?
Yes ,We shouldn't believe what the media is posting because we all know that not everything they say is true.
We should wait till they are already working and be used by the public.
But at least if it is true then crypto could attract more investors or user because of this.
931  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: windice scamed me today 22/05/2019 on: May 22, 2019, 05:12:10 AM
Please post this to the right board this is not the scam accusation board ,
And aren't you the one who abuse and disrespect them?
Didn't you learn your lesson?
You are being disrespecrful to them and you are assuming that they would still help you?
932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to trading crypto - any advice? on: May 21, 2019, 11:09:03 PM
Hey there, I'm new to trading cryptocurrencies. I'm curious what kind of strategies successful crypto traders employ? How did you learn to trade? Did you have a mentor or learn by yourself? Are there any books, videos, or other resources you recommend?
You could watch some tutorial or read some tips from other threads on this forum and apply it on trading,
Use simulator first to practice and learn from your mistakes,
Experiencing it would be the best lesson that you could have and don't ever follow a signal group .
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright, BTC USA Copy Rights/Patent Troll: What is his 'Endgame'? on: May 21, 2019, 10:47:31 PM
Let's put everything aside. You're Satoshi. If you had thought to come out one day, would you try to stay that much? I do not think so. And it's easy for Craig Wright to prove all his claims.

Everyone knows that Satoshi owns many Bitcoins. If Satoshi wants to prove that he is, he can transfer all these Bitcoins to a wallet where he will create it and then redistribute it. I guess that could convince us all.

After all, this is resolved to be Satoshi, he can tell us what he wants about these issues. Let's think about endgame when those times come.
That is one of the best solution and a proof that he is fake.
He should have done it in the first place to prove to all of us that he is the real creator but most of his stance are purely drama.
I also have the same question as OP because I don't see any benefits from being Satoshi unless you just wants publicity and fame.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't scammers a huge stopper to the internet (Bitcoin) on: May 21, 2019, 10:22:34 PM
Yes it is the scammers who are the main reason why people are afraid of crypto or hates crypto.
It is also the reason why people think that crypto is a scam this is what most people's mistake when they don't know about crypto currency.
They would call it scam just because of those scammers investment or any schemes.
It has been a huge issue and not just on the internet but also in real world.
Crypto just made it easy for them because of it's anonymity for the users.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We Create Our own Bull Run....and everyday might be a Bull Run on: May 21, 2019, 02:37:48 PM
I do understand your point but I don't really think that it works that way,
We couldn't create our own bull run and we couldn't dictate the market .
If you want to create your own bull run then create a signal group and make sure that they would follow your words,
It is similar to what you are saying one person couldn't really have an impact to the market unless that person would enter a million worth of money.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont believe on sale on: May 21, 2019, 02:20:38 PM
Sales are everywhere. Sale on shoes, bags, shirts, gadgets and everything. Malls and shops use this technique to attract buyers, but you know what?  Do you think you've been discounted a higher price than ordinary? No. Instead of saving 20%, you spend 80% on things you dont really need. This is not economical and most of us are easily lured to it. This is what i hate about people. When there's useless trending items on sale, they buy immediately even on credit cards but if bitcoin drops, they talk negative about it. Normal mindset wants to get temporary attention. Not permanent comfort.
True it wouldn't be a discount for yourself if you don't really need to spend for it on the first place,
This is why poor people stays poor because we couldn't control our self on spending on something that we don't really need.
While other are spending their money wisely and only buy what they need they don't over spend I am not talking about those crazy super rich person but those person who have nothing that become rich because of they could control their self.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto for the homeless day 9 - halal truck food - the homeless probably ate bet on: May 21, 2019, 01:59:36 PM
A meal would really mean a lot for a homeless person so this kind of act is really heartwarming.
I hope you could continue this and also help the other area not just on your place ,
In my country there was a viral trend back in February 2016 about a taxi driver who gives food to the homeless.
If you are interested about the story here is the link .
938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading signals review on: May 21, 2019, 01:37:43 PM
Hi Veterans
I'm newbie when it comes to trading cryptocurrency and i currently follow trading signals from a telegram group
Now the issue is that i'm not sure if they are being honest with figures when it comes to their returns
is there a way i can review all the trade signals automatically without having to do it manually, which is exhausting
checking one trades at a time for over 100 signals is time tasking
thanks in advance for your input
It is not really advisable to join or follow trading signals .
Like I always say about trading signals it is just a group that pumps a crypto from their followers,
So if their signal didn't hit it the followers would just lose their money for trusting their words,
And if does hit it then it is going to be the investors vs other investors who ever converts last would lose the investment,
It is a pyramid scheme used on a trading platform the early to take their bait would win if their pump group successfully pump their target crypto.
939  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Andrew Yang or John McAfee? on: May 21, 2019, 01:21:10 PM

There will be presidential election in the USA next year and so today we have many personalities both known and even relatively unknown who are already expressing and working with their desire to run for presidency with the assumption that they can successfully kick the sitting President Donald Trump out of office in 2019. The race is on for contenders to get the final presidential nomination of their respective parties.

Right now, we have Andrew Yang who is battling attention and support within the Democratic Party. Andrew Yang is an American entrepreneur, politician, philanthropist, the founder of Venture for America, and a U.S. 2020 Democratic presidential candidate. He worked in startups and early-stage growth companies as a founder or executive from 2000 to 2009. Among many other things, he is proposing the $1,000  a month free cash to all.

Then we have the popular guy named John McAfee who is known for his many outlandish predictions on the price of Bitcoin and promising to do something in front of the camera in case those predictions failed. John David McAfee is a British-American computer programmer and businessman. He founded the software company McAfee Associates in 1987 and ran it until 1994, when he resigned from the company.

Both guys are great supporters of bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Both guys provide cryptocurrency the opportunity to land in the mainstream media's coverage. Among the two, which do you think is really serious in running for the presidency in 2020 and who has the better chance of making it through the White House? Or do you think that these are just a bunch of jokers providing us the much-needed comedic relief from time to time?

This should be fun I think this is just a bunch of jokers providing us a comedic relief.
Besides who would really vote for them? Just because they are well known in the internet doesn't mean that they could just run for presidency,
People wouldn't really vote them even if they would really do it,There are so many other people who are suited for it than them.
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what we can buy with bitcoin ?? on: May 21, 2019, 01:02:19 PM
It all depends on where you are at there are some countries that already have plenty of merchant that accepts crypto as payment for their products and services ,
But here in the Philippines I think it is only use with our local wallet I don't really know any other merchant or companies in the Philippines that accepts crypto for payment.
But on our local wallet we could use it to pay load and bills you could also see some proof on my thread but currently it has been locked down.
