I guess that this may need to be also sorted out. It looks like there are only 4 blocks until the draw.

The latest Bitcoin adoption news came from one of the oldest Italian banks – Banca Sella.
It may worth mentioning that this info was already posted 2020-03-18, just not in press ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Suddenly become worried You suddenly became worried about something that didn't happen in 2019 (and could not actually happen)? Market manipulation happens on all levels. My country's central bank is adjusting the Forex price of our national currency multiple times a day and nobody writes long texts about how worried they are. All I see is that you want to fix something that's not broken.

Yeah I agree with you, maybe there is a someone in this forum who hate satoshi ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) satoshi actually has negative trust feedback. I was also surprised. I was reading some old posts and I noticed that. Interesting enough I've even seen it red/orange (because one of the guys leaving the negative was trusted by somebody in DT or my trust list).

This person hates this guy, that guy scammed this guy, this dude pissed in the wind.
Indeed. The way to go is to read the feedback, decide for yourself, maybe distrust this and that member in your own settings. The problem is that newbies can get puzzled by all this.. and I don't have a solution (other than let them learn they have to make their own decisions).

The play store is full of barcode and QR code readers. If one wants to have a nice QR code, it's not that difficult to install 1-2 such readers and test it out, instead of blindly trust others. Also seeing a bitcoin specific QR generator should be quite an alarm. General purpose QR generators should be just fine (you may put bitcoin: in front of the address, but on https://bitcoin.org/ they don't even put that).

You will most probably have to sell the gift card if you want Bitcoin. You can use specialized sites, as already said, or you can try to sell here on the forum. You'll need to discount the price and use escrow though, but with some luck Bitcoin will rise only after you sell and it'll cover these extra expenses.

Edit: I owe you a sMerit.
Did you ~finally~ pressed the buy button? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) It's the best Pre-ICO sale possible and there's no way Suchmoon or Theymos could get flagged. I also recommend those HoweyCoins.

How can someone hack or brute that?
There was quite a known hack some years ago, celebrities' private photos went online, you may remember that. That has happened because somebody has managed to find a hole in iCloud security and exploited it. Trusting others, especially if we talk about life changing funds, is a terrible idea.

Best way to store your private key physically? Heard of cryptosteel but wouldn't that have to hidden somewhere similar to like if you wrote it down on the cards?
Laminated paper in a safe may be almost as good. Notes in a book in your library (if you have one) can be also pretty good, but you'll need a backup in case your house gets on fire. The really good part with cryptosteel is that you can bury it and you're fine.

I do have Monero and a big bag of dead (or even scam) coins, like HeavyCoin, MidasCoin, FutureCoin, HobbitCoin... I guess that this was inevitable. Quite a learning curve and yeah, only some did survive. Also I've sold long ago (in 2017) my oldest assets - some 100$ worth of Dogecoin.

CZ is missing from the list. And many other known crypto rich guys are missing from the list. I am convinced that they've also invested consistent funds into Bitcoin.

When they die, it's from something else.
Let's make an analogy. Let's say somebody falls from 20th floor. He will die because his head broke, not because he was falling, right? CV "breaks" the lungs badly. If the person was not 100% healthy (which means it's not really young), this will probably be fatal. As simple as that. In a year or so, when there will be proper drugs for this, when they'll know at the hospital how to "fix" you, when the hospitals (which have many other sick people) will not be overcrowded with CV infected people, then we can see this much more lightly. Until then your simplified way to see the things is incorrect.

Coronavirus hysteria is more fun than science fiction. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Yep, it's fun until people you know starts dying or you can't buy things you need. Sadly, we really have to #stayathome

If you google for shortener site:bitcointalk.org and in tools you pick "last year" you should get more relevant data. I've read lately about Z24 but I don't know if it's any good. Actually that's why I've suggested google: I cannot really recommend any since I didn't use them. Still, I hope it helps a little bit.

You could read at least the bold part from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2415854.0For Bitcoin mining you basically need: * ASIC hardware (Bitcoin / SHA ASIC) and not too old (the very old models are also kinda useless); this can get quite expensive * extremely cheap electricity
