So you want to buy giftcards using btc.The whole idea of buying and selling giftcards is a bit illegal, but who

cares, everyone is trading giftcards, even here. Grin

I don`t think i understand your post. What help exactly do you need?
9222  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many people here don't really care about BTC? on: June 18, 2016, 12:44:12 PM
Who here doesn't care what happens with bitcoin as long as you can use them to make money, all the other drama doesn't really matter right?
All I care about is getting that $$$$ in my hands at the end of the day, everything else is irrelevant

What do you mean by "all the other drama"?I don`t understand that.

Yes,bitcoin is  money and people are interested in making money. That`s normal.

I want to make money and i don`t care if they are btc or USD.
9223  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 18, 2016, 06:58:18 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.

It`s always better to diversify your wealth and never keep all eggs in one place.

I would say both or 50/50 or maybe 40/30/30 including real estate.

Gold is "evergreen" and bitcoin is the new gold  Grin
9224  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: June 18, 2016, 06:54:25 AM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.

I hope that bitcoin will become a lot more popular after 6 years.

I can`t agree with your opinion about banks. They will change ,but they won`t disappear.

Someone has to manage people`s savings and give loans...
9225  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 18, 2016, 06:51:04 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

It depends of what profit you want. The bigger the risk, the higher the profit.

Some people want more secure investments and little profit, other people want higher profits.

There are people who want to gamble for profits...and loose everything  Grin
9226  Economy / Economics / Re: EU Bnks Stock vs Bitcoin Comparison on: June 18, 2016, 06:45:22 AM
Small comparison
EU banks stock is going down down down
From begining of year Deutche Bank has fail almost 60% Commerzbank the same
Italian banks even more over 70%

That time Bitcoin price has inreased significantly
Yesterday banks stock failed one time again
Analitics are trying to suggest that it is about Brexit
Nobody believe,Derivative investments are knocking, and investors are looking for alternatives
If that theory is real, btc price will stay high, with possibility of rise in future

There`s no correlation between bank stocks and btc,so it`s pointless to compare them.

Bank stocks are going down because of the European financial crysis and the negative interests.

I don` think that people will move their money from EU banks to btc, because their deposits are guaranteed

and all the EU banks are supported with cheap funds by the European central bank.
9227  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: June 18, 2016, 06:38:56 AM
Poor people and small businesses rely on cash. A contactless system will likely entrench poverty and pave the way for terrifying levels of surveillance

http://www.theguardian.com/money/commentisfree/2016/mar/21/fear-cashless-world-contactless

Discussion

In  a cashless world people will become slaves of the technology and if the system crashes, billions of dollars

could dissapear.People still need paper money and paper money are still useful.

Bitcoin can be printed and used as paper money. That`s not a problem  Smiley
9228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ID proof on Localbitcoins on: June 17, 2016, 08:25:20 AM
I am a trader on localbitcoins, and a lot of people say I sell bitcoins too, for neteller send me their ID proof to verify identity. But whats a safe practice to prevent identity theft ? I recently dealt with a guy who charged back and I later found out that he was using some other guys ID and even had that guy fooled(saying he was using his ID for some purpose).

Whats a good way about in general to send or receive ID cards without falling into identity theft ?

There are people who are trying to scam on localbitcoins, even with ID verification?

Wow,i`ll never use localbitcoins again  Angry

I have no idea how to resolve this...

Did you lose money?
9229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Some Sensible News About Bitcoin price rally! on: June 17, 2016, 08:16:25 AM
Nothing fancy. Its halving ,we get it.Came across this article which mentions couple of other good (weird) happenings in the bitcoin world :

The original article : https://e27.co/bitcoin-price-rally-really-going-20160602/

Important quotes for lazy readers :

Quote
China’s central bank has set the yuan daily reference rate at 6.5784 on 25 May 2016, the weakest level since February 2011.
Due to restrictions on bank transfers and moving cash out of the country, people have come up with various ways to move their money, bitcoin being one of them. Yuan devaluation can be a factor driving up the price of bitcoin.

Quote
Australian police bitcoin auction
Australia police will be auctioning off 24518 bitcoins, worth around USD$12.9m, confiscated as ‘proceeds of crime’. The auction will start at 12.01am AEST on 20th June 2016 and held over 48 hours in tranches of 2000 bitcoins.
Based on past auctions by the US Marshals Service, the events seem to spur investor interest and boosted bitcoin prices before the sale.

Quote
The risk is that if the buyers of these bitcoins sell them immediately, they will flood the market and drive down the price of bitcoins.

Can bitcoins  worth 13 million USD have influence over the worldwide btc market worth 10 Billion dollars?

13m USD is around 0.013% of all btc worth. Will this affect the market?
9230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When did you hear about Bitcoin the first time and got your first bits? on: June 17, 2016, 07:47:43 AM
When did you get into Bitcoin?  Smiley

The first time i heard about bitcoin was back in 2013 ,when a webiste called Twiends was selling "seeds"

using bitcoin as a payment method.I had a Twitter account then and i was trying to build a following...

The first time i earned bitcoins was June 2015.The best month in my life  Smiley
9231  Economy / Economics / Re: What if all those Fund houses dump all their Bitcoins? on: June 17, 2016, 07:23:48 AM
I vaguely remember there were a few fund houses or venture capitalists who bought Bitcoins aggressively. Remember the silkroad case - The Marshals auctioned away the confiscated coins. What about the Bitcoins that were recovered when Law enforcement intervened? The Feds auction away those coins too.

These coins were bought up by VCs or fund houses.

What if they were to dump those coins out in the market, now?

It`s a really stupid idea to sell all their coins at once. The profit will be less because of the price drop.

They could sell smaller amounts every day and  keep the market price rising.

That`s just my theory.Hope it works...
9232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Encouraging people to adopt Bitcoin. on: June 17, 2016, 07:20:58 AM
I've been in and out of the Bitcoin scene since it's start. More and more, over the years, I've been overwhelmingly convinced that it is worthwhile. I believe there is a need to get more people to accept Bitcoin as something very real and useful. It will help with the growth of the community and help to insure the future use and growth of Bitcoin in general if we show people that they can be a part of it. I do not have the money to do something like this alone, but what I do have is passion, tenacity, and of course time. Personally, I see a huge opportunity here and hope others do to.

I made a forum thread about bitcoin in a internet marketing related forum for people in my country.

All of them said:

"This is a speculation bubble.Don`t use this shit. You will lose money."

This is what people think about bitcoin. Undecided

9233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does World Economic Forum say 1 BTC will be $300,000 by 2027? on: June 17, 2016, 07:14:24 AM
Not really latest news (Sep 2015), but just stumbled on it. Basically World Economic Forum predicts that roughly 10% of the world's GDP will reside on the bitcoin blockchain by 2027. 10% of today's gdp is 7.5 trillion. So if you divide 7.5 trillion by 21 million, that would make each bitcoin worth over $300,000 per bitcoin by 2027.

http://www.coindesk.com/world-economic-forum-governments-blockchain/

http://www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_GAC15_Technological_Tipping_Points_report_2015.pdf

Nobody can predict what will happen in 2027.There are many factors.

What if another cryptocurrency beats bitcoin in popularity or what if governments ban bitcoin and all

the other altcoins?

300000$ per btc is too good to be true...
9234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc-e newb question on: June 16, 2016, 06:14:44 AM
i saw websites that sell btc-e codes for paypal.. is that legit at all?  Huh (chargeback problem?)

Selling btc-e codes for paypal is like selling btc for paypal. There is still a chargeback problem.

Is that legit? From Paypal`s point of view no,but who cares  Smiley

Just use escrow and deal with trusted traders.
9235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins price moving so fast! on: June 16, 2016, 06:06:32 AM
BTCitcoin is pumping like waterfalls in price chart, Today bitcoin rate is 730$, If this continuous what will be price on halving day and after that.

Maybe after a while there will be a thread here posted by someone saying:

"Bitcoin price is going down so fast!!!"  Grin

Just kidding. The speculation bubble is drowing right now and this is good. Smiley
9236  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: June 16, 2016, 05:48:09 AM
Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh

Right now i have only 0.0191 ,but i will get more till the end of this month.

Hope that the price will continue to grow and reach 1000$.

I`m not very experienced ,so i can`t give you advice or tips.
9237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Measuring users from some continent who are use bitcoin. on: June 16, 2016, 05:40:38 AM
How many users of bitcoin?
And where come you from?

I think that mostly USA and European users use bitcoin.I`m from Bulgaria, which is a part of the  EU.

Perhaps people from more wealthy countries have more bitcoins and trade more often with cryptocurrencies.

I don`t think that poor people from Africa have bitcoins....
9238  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Buy Bitcoin Online on: June 15, 2016, 06:44:58 AM
Hi
I wanted to know if there is a way or services that lets you buy bitcoins using paypal and/or visa/mastercard? I dont like buying bitcoins by a bank transfer.
Thank you in advance

Buying btc with paypal is too complicated and expensive. You can use localbitcoins but everyone there wants

ID verification.Nobody will trust you because paypal is reversible.

I guess that you could  use Coinbase for CC/DC to btc, but it`s slow and i don`t trust them anymore.
9239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coinbase is run by idiots on: June 15, 2016, 06:38:58 AM
So I've been using Coinbase quite a bit for buys. Last week I made an instant purchase buy just before the big spike in price and the bitcoins should have been released immediately. For some reason, the transaction got stuck and the bitcoins were not credited to my account but stuck in a pending state. I sent in numerous emails none of which were returned but finally was able to reach someone on the live chat. He couldn't fix the situation and escalated the matter to a supervisor who would fix the problem and release my bitcoins. Mind you the funds have already been withdrawn from my bank account and completed. Well its still hasn't been fixed and when I go back to the same chat agent he cannot guarantee me when I will receive the bitcoin and give a definitive timeframe. It should have been a top priority to resolve a customers purchase. I have never had problems with coinbase before but when something breaks on their end good luck getting someone to promptly fix it. It's in my opinion this company is run by idiots.

I don`t trust Coinbase anymore.Their support is horrible.

I would never buy btc from them anymore.Their "instant" buy isn`t very instant  Grin

Hope that your problem will be fixed OP. Smiley
9240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: newbie question - buy/sell diff on: June 15, 2016, 06:33:38 AM
stupid question, probably. On YoBit, sometimes there is a small difference between the 'buy' and the 'sell' price, and sometimes there is a huge diff between them.

I don't understand what drives the difference between the 'buy' and the 'sell' price.  I can see the sell orders, and when one of them is used up, the price increases a little bit. Why don't the buy orders match? ie if the buy price goes up by 2 sats, why doesn't the sell price goes up 2 sats?

trading for dummies 101?

A part of that difference is a fee that the exchange platform gets.

In every currency market there is a difference between "buy" and "sell" price.

Usually the "Sell" price is higher because of that fee.
