Someone should take a concept like Huntercoin and use an existing opensource game as the game portion, such as http://crossfire.real-time.com/

Or Worldforge:

http://www.worldforge.org

this is very cool!!!

I must try it on my own!

Cheers!

And also remember that in my pet care services accept payments DIGIBYTE! www.cuidotusmascotas.com

9243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should the foundation apologize to GOX?! on: February 24, 2014, 11:24:11 PM
Bitstamp/Coinbase don't have this problem... Fiat withdrawals were also fucked at Gox.

I thought the fiat withdrawals were permitted, when did that change?

Permitted ≠ Functional; USD withdrawals take 5 Weeks - Forever these days. They don't work properly, and they continue to get worse.

Indeed... Hope thing will come back to better one day ... soon Smiley

9244  Other / Off-topic / Re: The official, totally epic thread dedicated to discussing wookie nuts. on: February 24, 2014, 11:23:10 PM

9247  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to empty out an airplane on: February 24, 2014, 11:19:33 PM
Tape a Block Erupter to the wall of the bathroom of the plane

this is interesting Smiley or you can take out butterfly and shout that this is a robbery Smiley

And what would that give to Bitcoin aside from bad rep in the press?

just a bad joke Tongue

and do not take it too serious. We are just kidding.

Nobody will risk their mining hardware Smiley

Same here. The whole thread is a joke so anything said in here automatically makes it one.

Smiley Jokes are good for us Smiley

we should laugh to make our live better and health needs it too Smiley
9248  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2014 is NOT the year of bitcoin, sorry on: February 24, 2014, 11:17:08 PM

9249  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTC/LTC PONZI 2x with fee on: February 24, 2014, 11:16:32 PM
hi, i'll run a ponzi 2x with 10% fee on interest, to ensure profit for me and a long ponzi scheme

BTC/LTC only, instant payout if someone pay after you if not, i refund your account in 24 hours

BTC address: 1C9UwE64FrUmWHnidAYcXW5iZWYV9gFsj1 (min 0.01)

LTC address: LaKUwmS5F4mHzNa24RMSiziE77Z8ZpUrnD (min 0.5)

you are assured that this is the best trusted ponzi here, not like the other fancy ponzi with flashy OP and gimmick talk

join the train you won't be disappointed

your "trust" seems -6 Cheesy

I would not recommend to give a try to your Ponzis Smiley

+1 this

I just say that there is a huge risk when dealing with person -6 trust Tongue

He should get some + trust first, and then offer deals to people in gambling industry ...

9251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people work in Bitcoin? on: February 24, 2014, 11:13:23 PM
Exactly how many people do not know I think there are at least hundreds of people

but we must say - all miners are Bitcoin workers.

And you say hundreds? Smiley

Millions!
9252  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 149.34 BTC and 7397 LTC stolen, assistance appreciated/rewarded on: February 24, 2014, 11:12:46 PM
Wait you had 100 BTC on a server with public access and you didn't even know if the wallet was encrypted or not?

It isn't and wasn't a public server, but as part of development of an application, ElasticSearch was open to the Internet for a time. Apparently just long enough. The wallet was encrypted, but it looks like there may have been unencrypted backups used. The bitcoin/litecoin daemons were restarted and the debug logs wiped.

Smiley keeping Bitcoin backups without a password is like setting pin number in your credit card to null Tongue
9253  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: RESOLVED: Mt Gox login issues? on: February 24, 2014, 11:07:55 PM
Thanks guys - resolved.  Used email instead of username and it worked.

Luckily, no Goxcoins for me.  When I saw the price diverge in mid-summer (higher than elsewhere) I freaked out and transferred immediately to Bitstamp, and subsequently to cold storage.

Good Smiley

And good that you haven't got any goxcoins Tongue
9254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex sign in on: February 24, 2014, 11:07:21 PM

Seems up and fine now.

Mintpal and Poloniex are under DDOS is seems. Bad guys are trying to get more cheap MRC
or keep people from buying it. Those are the only two exchanges that sell it and they are being
attacked.

hmmm.

Hehe. You think MRC is a reason for those attacks? Smiley
9255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FLAP] FlappyCoin ★ 0 PREMINED ★ COPYRIGHTED ★ MANY GIVEAWAYS ★ V1.0.0.2 on: February 24, 2014, 11:06:43 PM

That's because MINT is being manipulated to make certain people (probably Wolong) money... POW/POS is nothing new, MINT just goes POS faster than most other coins thus far... However, people poured money into get it to 60 sat... then the whales who bought it back when it was 4sat cashed out for a nice profit. They still have a position in the coin most likely, so expect more of that in the future.

It's really difficult at this point to tell if FLAP is going to get picked up like that or not. Obviously we want to see the coin succeed, however, organic growth is a lot better than a crazy pump to 20 sat, only to have it then crash to 2

<puts tinfoil hat on> Based off the action I saw on MintPal over the past days I'm thinking Mintcoin's price may have been manipulated by its own devs. <takes tinfoil hat off>

We need a FlappyPal.

FlappyPal! Smiley and FlappyUnion Tongue

9259  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 0.1 BTC loan by tonight on: February 24, 2014, 10:43:23 PM
I need this loan for gas to drive 4 hours away and back to see my daughter get christened. I really do not want to miss this. I have a good reputation in this forum, and will be open for any offers you may have for me. I can pay you back when devtome pays out, or if you would like it back in cash I can send it through other means.

Just cut me a break here, someone?

Gor

I wish I could help Sad but I don't have that much by now.

Wish you luck with finding someone!

All best!

Regards!
