9241  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: November 04, 2017, 06:27:29 AM
I do not know for sure whether billionaires also also invest in bitcoin. I think it could be someone billionaires using bitcoin because bitcoin free in use by anyone
Definitely, it is a free world and no one would stop anyone and mostly, they will not necessarily have to announce to the whole world that they are into bitcoin.
Most of them would not since they will not really want any unnecessary attention on themselves anyway. These guys are smart and they have the funds and it would not cost them anything to risk a certain amount of money to invest into a technology that sure would make a lot of difference in the finance sector.
9242  Economy / Economics / Re: Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years on: November 04, 2017, 05:38:53 AM
I'm pretty sure that alot of us here holding bitcoin for more than 3 years now. some are newbies but for sure they have a targeted price. it be worth it in the future. so buy and hold bitcoin.
Lots of people have been holding since the inception and creation of bitcoin and I see no reason why anyone should still hold for more than 3 years right now, be it a newbie or an old player in the game.

BTC has proved itself as a worthy asset which has a whole lot of usage and value and even if I will have to pull some out, it would be an investment that I know would be giving me a lot and would also be giving me so much to keep saving and holding in BTC.
9243  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HOW EXCHANGES PROCESS WITHDRAW? on: November 04, 2017, 04:43:57 AM
Each exchange platform might have their own way of processing withdrawals but most of them process withdrawals in batches or bundles so that they can save on transactions fees and not have multiple unconfirmed input (balances) in their hot wallets. I am not quite sure but they only push next batch of withdrawals when one of the previous batch get atleast one confirmation on the blockchain.

They might also manually verify few of the suspicious and big withdrawal request before processing them.
Yes, almost all the services (exchanges, gambling sites and even some web wallets) are following this strategy as far as I too have experienced. I noticed like requesting small amount and hitting my addy instantly but some what big requests take time to get processed but we can understand all these are just a precautionary measurements to prevent any possible attempts.

I believe no service provider can be having one single policy on withdrawal process as they cannot be sure about the capabilities of their user's malfunctioning.
9244  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Did someone make money with Steem (https://steemit.com/)? on: November 04, 2017, 03:59:35 AM
Well, yes you can make some money in Steemit and there are many users there really earn a good money just by posting some articles but they are more on blogging as far as I know as I've seen from their promotional video on Facebook. I think bitcointalk is really the best forum I've ever joined too although not a social website but on earning money no doubt here is a good one to stay long. Nevertheless, Steemit has their own coin and it keep on rising and that's why many also joined their especially a crypto enthusiastic person would love to stay there.
I remember there were people in service board, investing us to join steemit to form group to like/rate articles by promising guaranteed of more than $200 monthly. But no history of their earning tracks.

I also opened account with steemit and got verified but never got time and interest to be active there after bitcoins and bitcointalk. Yes, I am pretty comfortable with my signature campaign and bitcoin price levels for my leisure time, feeling lazy to try new things out of my comfort zones Tongue

Still, I like to see any real time proofs of making money with steemit. Probably that may be the force to push people like me to get into new earning opportunities.
9245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: November 04, 2017, 03:20:00 AM
The only coin with a proven track record and network very stable is Waves, I think waves have huge potential and will eventually spike huge in price.

I rather have waves than eth!
Waves has really been sparkling some pretty big interest in the minds of investors and it sure has some huge development going on for it and over time, we will end up seeing some huge number of usage for it and investors kicking in pretty bad, so it is simply a coin to really watch out for.

would ivest 250 in ebtc  Grin
other 250 to playkey
Pretty sure this was a joke ;ebtc of all coins? I would rather put my money on doge instead. As far as I am concerned, bitcoin seems to me more like the safest and most reliable place to put funds now since at the end, BTC movement only affects ALTs and ALTs movement hardly affects BTC.
9246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin sold out on: November 03, 2017, 07:16:51 PM
With the current trading volume? It will most likely not ruin the market but definitely result in having a decent decrease in price and then, it will be just a matter of time until the price goes up once again. I doubt he still have access to his coins honestly. (that's assuming he still alive)

Until now, it's not a fact that this is one person. And like any architect of the system, he (they) probably should know the fulcrum of the whole construction. By 2025-2030 he will be the richest man in the world and his secret plan does not know anybody. This makes one think his anonymity, and hence the uncertainty of intention.
So many speculations about satoshi being a group of people who came together to build something great while some imagine satoshi to be a single man from Japan. Whichever way, at this moment, no one really cares, and the only satoshi we know is the legacy that has already been dropped.

I would not blame whoever is behind the name anyway cause if I am the one, I would have done the same and that would have been a huge problem for me. So it is just better going solo and then knowing that you are an unknown god somewhere.
9247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BLOCKCHAIN TECNO WILL SURVIVE, bitcoin not on: November 03, 2017, 06:45:48 PM
I guess only time will let us know if you end up true or not. If you want to decide to see bitcoin as a bubble, then that is the way you absolutely want to see it and no one would criticize you for your opinion.

We all really do not know the future and most definitely blockchain technology is the future, but whether bitcoin will still remain in the show at the end or not, only time can really tell us that but as far as I am concerned, it is totally worth the risk knowing it is going to be here for a long time, before we start seeing much more development on other cryptocurrencies.
9248  Economy / Marketplace / Re: enough bitcoins to start small project ? on: November 03, 2017, 06:10:26 PM
First of all research about the business you want to setup because without researching you cannot find how to market your product. Based on machines, labour, electricity etc. You should know who much you have to invest and same time you have to keep some money aside for further expenses.
Research is always very important which is the reason a lot of small, medium or large scale businesses find a way to get a business plan or feasibility study before the embark on a project. It helps a lot when you know what you want to delve into and then with some little research, you can tend to see if what you have to start the project is feasible or not.

After cryptocurrency's trend of ICOs, I guess only our concept is important not the budget as we can raise any required funds when our concept is attractive.
9249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: November 03, 2017, 04:08:35 PM
I pamper my self because winning on gambling is like an achievement. You feel lucky and it makes you happy every time you win. I drink or treat my friends.
Well, pampering yourself only depends on the amount of cash you have won. Once that I hit it big in gambling, I just got home and started calculating how I could make effective use of the money so it can keep growing and I am happy I made that decision.

I gamble now not because I want to win, but because I want to have fun. I never expected the huge win but when it came, I just had to make the very best use of it cause opportunities like that most times only come once in a lifetime except if you are just super ordinarily lucky.
9250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: losing 50 bitcoins gambling on: November 03, 2017, 03:47:49 PM
I would fwel really bad, I always feel bad when I lose I aswar and I feel an enormous amger
Anger is what comes up when you take gambling as either a profession or a way of earning. It should just be a way of trying your luck honestly. I have felt those huge angers before when I was gambling with the hope that I can win big and then I browsed through the net looking for strategies, applying them and still nothing until I realized that come on!

I could have used those times to do something much more productive, earn a lot and if I wish I can put little into gambling to try my luck and see it as fun if I lose but not as a way to earn.
9251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: return as soon as possible and win back your losses . on: November 03, 2017, 08:15:22 AM
We all can lose in gambling  and lose our money but shall we stop or try to win back what we lost ?

The best thing you can do after losing enough to bother you, is step back, calm down, and take some time to think about what you're doing.  The last thing you want to do is chase your money with riskier bets.  When we are "bothered" by our losses, we tend to make bad decisions, so the best thing to do after a major loss is walk away.
As far as I see this thing, the major loss is to decide and come back with bigger best in order to recover your losses. Whatever you have lost in gambling, there are not even chances of getting it back in negative numbers. It is much better to stay away from this evil game once you have lost more than you can afford because when you play with a mindset of getting back money, you make decisions under pressure and they are often wrong ones.
Evil game ? Grin I am very sure gambling must have dealt with you one way or the other for you to have said that. There is one mistake we have all made in gambling and although not very few learnt their lessons, but few people like me did and that is never ever try to return as soon as possible to win back your losses.

Like you said, there is that pressure that overwhelms you and then your decisions become so cloudy and then controlling that impulse of not trying your luck just feels impossible but then, that is where self control comes in and it is better to walk away and if you wish, come back later on if you have more money you can spare to loose and then try your luck from the scratch.
9252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Resistance level of BTC on: November 02, 2017, 03:26:00 PM
What resistance levels do you have for BTC, and at which level would you buy a lot of BTC if it got there?

Buy rate? Well I will always want it to go far below if Im given choice of getting it lowered.  Cheesy

Well, as far as the market is such strong for bitcoin at the movement then I'm considering bitcoin to go all the way down to 2000 to 3000 USD rates at what prices I missed buying last month. Well, I'm specifically putting this range because there is no way bitcoin will go below that range. If I'm true then thats because of the market cap that bitcoin is having currently and it will resist it going that far. Also, there will be assurance of the bitcoin hiking back to normal rates which are nothing but 6K currently thus giving us wealthy profits.
At this stage that we are now, $7k is just a very sweet stage to buy for anyone. I ever doubt if it would get lower than that but no one obviously knows. However, if wishes were horses, even beggars would ride. Even $4000 is a stage that I doubt can ever happen unless something negative that superseded the strength of the support bitcoin has which I doubt we can ever see any of such for now.

Asides that, we might just end up having some little correction here and there and then looking forward to new ATHs every time. Also, I foresee some positive news coming up in months and I am sure those news would trigger another bullish trend for bitcoin.
9253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: long term invest in bitcoin on: November 02, 2017, 02:31:45 PM
Hello everyone
I have around 2400$ and I have the idea to invest them by buying bitcoin. I plane for a long term investment (few months to year). Best time to buy BTC and best strategy (I heard  about a hard fork will happen soon) ? Other ideas to invest this amount of money for the indicated period of time ?
Thank you
At this stage that we are testing a new ATH, you may need to relax a little bit and wait for correction. Don't rush in to buy and if you feel you do not have the patience and you can afford to, then you can still buy since we cannot really predict bitcoin's next surprise move. Nevertheless, one thing for sure is that, with bitcoin, it is more of a win-win situation which ever point you buy since it will eventually increase in value with patience.
9254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or altcoin, which is better to invest into now? on: November 02, 2017, 01:04:39 PM
As Bitcoin keep climbing and altcoin keeps going down, is it better to invest in bitcoin or altcoin now?

I believe this moment become the right time to invest with altcoin. Even bitcoin still has high price and big volume, but for small trader/ investor like me, that price is too high and not interesting anymore. I think bitcoin pattern like commodities ( gold ), always up but when fall need long time to raise again. Only that risk I must prepared, so be careful and good luck.
Well, since bitcoin is more of a digital asset, you cannot expect the value to remain the same and if it does, it just will not  make sense as an asset again, will it ?

One thing you should understand first is that no matter what you buy, it would still appreciate and funny enough, I have got so much steady growth and profit from bitcoin this year than any altcoin. However, if you want to go all the way with altcoins, you had better be careful too which one you invest in.
9255  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: November 01, 2017, 05:37:33 PM
You need to study how to be successful in trading, read books and attend some seminar about business trading,,make sure you have confidence. and also take a risk,,creating more money have risk,,so prepare yourself to outcome.
Most times, we put so much attention into trading and forgetting that there are so many areas you can make a lot of money from. We can make money and more money if we are smart. I am not saying trading is bad as it is one way you can invest in yourself if you learn.

But most people do not consider the fact that you can render services, you can learn some skills that will not involve much like graphic designs, php coding, programming, ethical hacking etc and you can make huge chunk of money from these skills without stress once you are good.
9256  Economy / Economics / Re: Generating Passive Income on: November 01, 2017, 04:54:24 PM
You can invest in bitcoin for passive income. But better invest for a long time.
If you have a more money saving in bank, you can try invest bitcoin for your future.
Apart from even holding for a long time, there are so many things one can do to earn passively. Definitely, you can save and watch it grow but how about watching even the amount of the bitcoin you have grow. I simply like the sound of that more anyway, so it is best you look for skills you can offer on the forum or on freelance sites and get to work. they pay, you do not have to use the whole day and once you complete your gis, you get paid.
9257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I HAVE 50.000 dollars to invest, help please! on: November 01, 2017, 08:42:47 AM
Actually it is a good time to buy altcoins now. Most of them are cheap because of the fork. If i were you i would divide it to 3 equal parts. 1 for bitcoin 1 for altcoins and 1 part for icos.
It is really a good time to buy altcoins now, but which altcoin to buy is what is very important. The market is huge and it is something you will need to do some pretty good research first before you just end up buying anyhow alt. On the other hand, like you said, I would rather give a larger share to bitcoin, some smaller part for top altcoins, another smaller part for altcoin with a solid team and good project already in the market, and then the littlest part for ICOs.
9258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO of week on: November 01, 2017, 07:14:43 AM
This list is not complete without Brisk Pass being on the list. Brisk Pass is going to not only be the best ICO for this week but the best in the entire WORLD. I have decided to put aside several grand for this token. Its partners are amazing, its team is amazing, the whole thing is amazing!
And I would also say the list is not complete without Global Job Coin and Tio Tour.

Global job project is one that is already having a huge load of support as the team and the project has been around since 2014 and then trying to integrate the blockchain technology into their system seems pretty cool. I love the idea, the team is superb and I am really sure this project would boom.

Also, tio tour project got me attracted cause of the team's response and how much they are targeting the tour sector most especially in Asia which seems pretty cool and they are really working hard already with lots of partner in the tour industry.
9259  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How erning over 100000 satoshi/wekly on: October 31, 2017, 06:34:48 PM
Earning 100000 Satoshi in a week is very easy I think. You can simply join any signature campaign of this forum. All you need to do is make some good quality posts and good rank position like member.A member can earn upto 0.004BTC per week by signature campaign.Another way is earning through faucet.Faucet is slow earning way and I think it's too boring.
I really do not know why someone would really want to stoop so low as to earning that ridiculous amount of money weekly. I will rather work offline, earn something tangible and then use part of it to buy bitcoin. Nothing comes free in this life and one way or the other you have to give either your time, your skills or your money.

How you go about it smartly now depends on each individual. Some are using their skills to earn as much as 0.05 weekly on this forum even without signature campaigns and it is just left for everyone to find how they can fit in.
9260  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I want to invest $200K to set up an exchange and I need your help on: October 31, 2017, 05:55:19 PM
This doesn't make sense that a person who can afford to invest $200,000 monthly and going to set up an exchange is asking for help from random users here on this forum.
BTW Poloniex have many altcoins on their platform to trade, so mostly altcoins trader prefer using it.
I am using Bittrex from the start and i prefer it over poloniex because of the variety of altcoins, many other exchanges lacks famous profitable altcoins on their platform.
It is not a bad thing to want to get a random idea from people.
As far as I am concerned, they always help. The fact that the OP had $200,000 does not mean he could find this forum as an interesting place to get knowledgeable ideas on how to kick start his project and does not mean he has sourced for ideas somewhere else. After all, he even gave $50 to the first few people who answered his question, would you have been that generous? Grin
