Hardly ideal when your trying to buy a pizza...
I had this happen around the holidays once. this doesn't make sense TX's are broadcast instantly, you have to be pretty F'ing badly connected to the network for it to take more then a few seconds for your TX to propagate. did you withdraw from an online wallet?

On Bitfinex i think are the lowest fees 0.15% per buying and selling. and if u wanna trade a lill bit more risky, you can choose to margin trade where a leverage is 2.5:1.
I don't trust these opaque exchanges! I pay an outrageous 2% plus spread to Coinbase for every sell/buyback and I can't even do a simple f#cking limit order. Second Market wants to play New York Bitcoin Exchange and they don't have a single goddam broker I can use. Kraken needs to get crackin' if they want to be the Charles Schwabb of BTC. I'm a buyer at $645 and a seller over $695 until the weekend or until the next breakout, whichever comes first. bad choice flagpole pole is targeting 730+, and thats just the beginning. keep your coins safe and wait for my go.

I´m safing my Bitcoins on a paper wallet now and am a total noob. Can I ask here some questions?
good choice How long does it take to transfer the coins from Bitstamp to the Paper Wallet? I just made a test transfer 15 minutes ago and am still waiting.
same as any BTC transfer, instantly, then ~1 hour for 6 confirmations How can I get my Coins from the Paper Wallet to bitstamp again?
you can import the private key in a bitcoinQt client, or import it to a blockchina.info wallet. And if I am correct, I can check my BTC Amount on the Paper Wallet on blockchain.info when I write my Bitcoin adress there?
yes, its the same as any other bitcoin address, just that the private key only exists on paper. EDIT: Bitstamp says trasfer failed?
you sure you have the right address? if you type in the address incorrectly the checksum will fail. once you are sure the problem is not user error, contact support.

looks like we still got a few bears that think they know better, bears prepare to wake up dazed and confused as you look upon other flag pole formation and price at 741.POWNED!!!! This looks like the same scenario as when I traded in December. It's bouncing between 650 and 700. Well, I'll wait until 680 to 700 and sell. Then buy back at 650. End up going to sleep. Sold at 700. Wake up at 750. yup looks like a lot of bears are heading off to bed... 656.GoodNight!

A well written article, if it were written about something else. Global warming comes to mind.
That's an interesting article: there are no doubts there's gong to be a major financial storm pretty soon as the sins of the recent past catch up with the global market, however whether BT will 'save' us is pretty dubious. However, parallels with global warming are not accurate, it's a pity so many sceptics and deniers inhabit this forum but I imagine the US media has a lot to do with this (as well as your education system). I'm on a ferry on the Tasman strait and can't be bothered producing all the academic references. But even the 'skeptic' scientists who were employed by the corporate PR companies have jumped ship -- the evidence is now overwhelming. Hopefully, a few more super-storms will hit the east coast, wake you from your insular torpor. But loving the new, aggressive JorgeStolfi. As for the market....well, I can see some choppy water ahead: volume seems low, the bid order sum is reducing and I have no idea how we managed to breach 700 but I can't see that happening again until the constant flow of negative sentiment recedes. No. There have been now two separate events where climate scientists have been busted doctoring data. Their warming models have failed repeatedly. You have no way to prove that current storms have anything to do with any sort of warming event. We just had one of the coldest summers and winters on record. The recent expedition by the global warmers were stuck in record ice caps as they attempted to document the shrinking ice caps. Go find the original data from the Magellan Probe. From this you can get the temperature and pressure at various elevations on Venus. From that you can get the temperature at each pressure. Compare the temperatures on venus to the temperatures on earth at equivalent pressure. The relationship between the two is exactly proportional to the square root of planet's relative distances from the sun, exactly as predicted by the inverse square law and stefan-boltzman law. There is no room for greenhouse effect in explaining this data as far as I can tell. --END OT global warming ?! ahhhh quickly buy all the bitcoins!

I read your slumber posts with religious fervor. Would you mind posting them more frequently with more data? Thx
Wow, thanks, I am flattered. I don't know if I can provide more data, but I will try to produce even longer charts. Would that help? omg Jorge buy an Fing bitcoin.

I've been pretty bullish lately but I do have one concern. The injection of fiat into bitstamp order books seems to have stopped. There isn't any more fiat on the books nows than there was in the past week in the 500 levels. The amount of selling (in btc) to reach 400 is exactly the same and the total amount of fiat on the books is actually LESS because all the bids in the 300s and 200s were removed. If I don't see another fiat injection in the next week, I am going to get really concerned.
A bull may be transformed into a bear? Do you have to have a Bitstamp account to view this information? I do NOT have an account, but I can view the bid and ask order books - but only back so far. Currently, with the price at $663, I can see between $530 and $796. I did NOT know that anyone could view beyond those order price points. http://bitcoinity.org/markets/bitstamp/USDon high volume days stamps can trade over 100K coins pretty sure >90% of depth is off the books dont worry about it

pretty sure selling the news in this case is not the way to play this... this really is BIG news.
high performance exchange more / easier arbitrage opportunities mobile trading
all coming soon, what's not to love?
It's not exchange, it's trading platform on top of other exchanges. Might be nice but not really big news at all. pretty sure its both.
