9321  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my signature campaign earnings ? on: August 16, 2016, 06:56:32 AM
Right now i am earning close to 0.01btc per weak with my signature campaign but i just dont know what to do with them.I want to grow them and reach a good amount of btc but only collecting will take a long time to reach a good amount. So i start to gamble with them and till now since 3-4 weaks i have lost all my signature campaing earnings.I win at the start but i become greedy and gamble more and then lost them.
So i decided not to gamble with them can any one tell me what are the other options which i can do with my earnings.

I have no idea yet but I read here that it is not that much just good for a starting money in trading or something else.
9322  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: August 08, 2016, 07:38:40 AM
Of course I aware that there are different situations with different banks but some of them charge you for using their card as a method of payment and if you are using Bitcoin you only pay a transaction fee which is small and unsignificant. I think that's one of of the main reasons why would customers use Bitcoins.

I agree. I am using it and base on my calculations I see that I did save a lot of money than paying my annual payment with credit cards.

Depending on what the problem is that you say is wrong with the pc why cant you just transfer the whole hard drive to a new pc, This way your taking everything with you and all will be in tact, unless of course its the hard drive thats failing . As long as your backed up i suppose your all good as well.

I browsed the answers and I find this is the best and easiest. I am more of technical in hardware than software and I am new in bitcoin. But PC related he didn't mention that it was the Hard Disk that was failing. It was the PC itself and there is a big chance the other parts are the ones infected.

Im not good in terms of software discussion because my course is very far from this type of topic. But, since everyone here tells you to have a backup to your wallet (which is a MUST) having this kind of large quantity of bitcoin. I also suggest that if you want to have a fast transaction to transfer your fees. You can pay at least double or triple or even pay 5x the minimum fee of the blockhain so that they will prioritize your transaction. The reason why I didn't recommend the much larger amount that it will cost much, some patient is also needed considering that you are transferring large amount right?

If you want more details you are free to browse: http://blog.coinkite.com/post/129708232446/faster-bitcoin-transactions-miners-fee-done

(c) to the owner and author of the site Cheesy

That is possible? Aint it like some kind of extortion? Paying more for your transaction to be faster? I dont know, havent tried that. But I do transact at lower fees but do it for so many times. That could work also.
9324  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn 0.1 Bitcoin in month? on: July 29, 2016, 06:29:32 AM
Hey Guys,

I already stored a few bits in a TREZOR wallet and I wanted to ask you now how to earn 0.1 BTC in one month.
I also already know that signature campagnes are a good way to earn Bitcoins on in this forum... Smiley

So if you know some good ways to earn Bitcoins... please share it with me. Wink

Best regards,

Patrick Smiley

I dont have a campaign but I do faucets for now. It takes time to get a lot of satoshis but I love doing it. If you are aiming for that big price I think you will need a large capital also. I might do that, for now I am in the testing process. Good luck to us.
9325  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 29, 2016, 06:09:12 AM
Good question.  Cheesy

I think I will pass with that. I cannot imagine having a salary using bitcoin. It might be a disaster to the employer and employees.
9326  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I follow BTC price instantly and accurately? on: July 25, 2016, 06:14:47 AM
It is like every website got a different price. I guess it will be about the refreshing of that certain website and other got late. I see Yobit got a really high price. Why is that?  Shocked
9327  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about signature campaigns! on: July 25, 2016, 06:06:37 AM
There's no general answer to that question, different campaigns handle this in a different way.
Some campaigns pay you with the increased rates immediately after you put on the new signature, others let you switch to the higher rates after their payround is completed,
and sometimes you might have to leave/switch campaigns, because there's no space in the higher group for new members.

Point is, it always depends on the campaign you join.

Thank you for this answer Mr. Lutpin. The last one hurts if the said campaign will have this kind of rule. Leaving the campaign because you ranked up.  Cry

All types of people uses bitcoins. It cannot be divided on the basis of race or gender.
and people from all age groups uses it starting from 15-60 years but most of them i think will be between 20-35

Yeah. If we look at the local section there are a lot who speaks different languages here. That is one proof that this bitcoin is for all. I see a lot of Asians in the said section.

Imagine me a newbie reading it from top to bottom.  Cry That is a lot of stress and ending up it cant be done. You are saying you guessed some account of a Russian by a mere coincidence? There is a 1/a billion chance I think for this to happen? And you are saying our bitcoin is hackable after how many years of service? Oh crap! My head hurts after reading. Need some rest.

9331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: July 20, 2016, 05:39:16 AM
If the Internet goes down, people wouldn't be able to do Bitcoin transactions. But once the Internet goes back, then people can resume their bitcoin business. It would be just as if the Bitcoin status is at 'paused'. The data and records of bitcoin wouldn't be deleted, once the Internet is back, all of those data can be retrieved as if nothing happened.

That would be the scenario BUT for bitcoin to shutdown? It would not happen or  in very small percentage. Will the world will have a power outage at the same time? If no power in Asia, in Europe or Ameroca or Middle East surely will have power. Another is, there are also Power storage or backups on servers, telcos etc.

If all of that happens it is still not the end of the world. We are just not used to it. The world did start without electricity and it will still live without it actually it is the one who is making it die.
Bitcoin is just a dot in all of that. It can happen but not soon.
9332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: July 14, 2016, 06:40:56 AM
I am not really making use of Bitcoin because using it as a currency does not make to much sense for me.
What I am doing is holding on to them to make a profit in the future.

It doesnt make sense? I thought it was used for many things now. Specially, when sending money thru online. Or you just dont use it with that reason?
9333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: July 12, 2016, 08:01:13 AM
If internet went down then bitcoin will dissapear aswell since all bitcoin transactions need internet. Nowadays internet is one of the effective way to connect all people around the world and I do believe that a bunch of people that competent on it will keep maintan and make sure that internet will be available for a very long time! So, no worry about it!

I think it is just like a "What if?" That is possible but you are also right. Many will have a problem without internet and society is used to it so someone will fix it if that happen.

That was a cool one. It is okay to share right?
9335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: July 12, 2016, 05:53:03 AM
For now I have none, because it is easier to earn than other online works that pays with just a little amount. But I have read that some are getting some problems regarding the slow sending of it.
9336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who really uses bitcoin? on: July 12, 2016, 04:55:11 AM
Hi I wonder about the demographics of bitcoin. Who uses it, race, location, gender?

I read the coindesk paper on it, but wonder if there is some other more updated documentation on it.

Regards

My suggestions are:

99% Men,from which 55% white,40% asian and 5% other. Grin

This is just a suggestion,i don`t know where to find demographic data about this.

Bitcoin will spread very fast,if more women start using it...

That's funny.  Grin I don't think also that is the exact percentage of it. There are a lot other countries here. I see it in other languages. I think 60 percent are Asian.  Grin
