9341  Other / Off-topic / Re: What creative methods of protest you know. on: June 06, 2017, 03:09:12 AM
I think there are a lot of stuff that can be done to those who are doing more harm than good. Advertisements have made a large impact towards the reduction of the things that are made, knowing that they have done a big statement using it. For example, I just saw a video about crossing the roads not following the traffic lights. They somehow made it look like they are about to be hit by a car but then suddenly, a loud screech comes by and they are taken by surprise.

9342  Economy / Speculation / Re: can my bitcoin drop to nothing on: June 06, 2017, 02:36:43 AM
Definitely, you haven't thought about or bothered to research on what Bitcoin is and how it works underneath it, you shouldn't just look at the price then you are probably concerned more about it rather how popular it is. It won't definitely be worth zero, but there would be turmoils with the prices, it's never constant because there are buyers and sellers who want's different prices, etc.
9343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy In The Dips Guys on: June 06, 2017, 02:21:29 AM
Has anyone bought from the Dips? Because I did and it's slowly rising up again in the trend. Hopefully, in a few months, it would reach another all-time high. I'm just concerned what would happen after the BIP148 fork in the network, who will side with who, something like that.
9344  Other / Politics & Society / Re: You eat pork you look like pork on: June 06, 2017, 02:19:28 AM
As you know pigs eat everything including rats. The main distribution of infectious diseases including bubonic plague are rodents, therefore, pigs must help in the fight against the spread of epidemics. Probably another reason.

There is another way of looking in to it. Pigs do eat a lot of biodegradable waste, thereby considerably reducing the transmission of harmful pathogens. If the pigs are removed, then this waste will rot, and it will trigger epidemics.

The spreading of epidemics can be cured by medical science, but how will infectious (indoctrinous) religious epidemics be cured?

With education, perhaps? Have you ever wondered why Islamists are so much against western-style education? They are afraid that if the followers gain education, then they will dump Islam.
I have never thought about that in that way, I don't know Islam and I don't want to judge people with their religion either. What kind of things that are scientifically explainable that are not in accordance with the Islam religion?
9345  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Religion of Peace in the Philippines. on: June 06, 2017, 02:18:06 AM
It's going to be a hard thing to stop, it's just that they have no respect for other religions anymore and that's what they firmly believe. Knowing that they have the money, guns, and other things that are illegal, they could've gotten it from the ISIS. They probably assisted them with their firearms and probably helped them do it and probably trained them (if they are like that). It's a matter of time that the military would regain back it's peace in Marawi.
9346  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Manila terrorist was in a casino burning casino tables on: June 06, 2017, 02:14:39 AM
No, it's not a terrorist or anything that is related to ISIS or any terror group.

He is just an addicted gambler that is depressed for having debts with many people.. assuming $75,000+

We all know that the gunman was born as a Christian in a Filipino family. But even now the ISIS links can't be ruled out. Too many questions are still unanswered. From where he got the assault rifle, if he was not linked to the terrorist groups?
We can never know the truth now unless there is someone willing to give their stand on how he managed to get the gun and based on the footage shown by the CCTV, he has no help whatsoever. That's how ISIS spread their fear, claiming everything that has happened to the world that is bad. That's how they somehow make the world tremble with fear.
9347  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will Religions die? on: June 06, 2017, 02:12:08 AM
Religions will never die, it has been around for centuries and probably won't stop growing. There are a lot of religion in the world, and the spread of it won't stop because people believe in it, and I do too. I'm a Catholic, and I believe in the Holy Bible, whether or not you judge a people by their religion or not, Religion is a way to have a better life, IF you actually apply it and make real actions to the world.
9348  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: June 06, 2017, 02:09:07 AM
Really easy and convenient, globe across functionality in seconds, quick and cheap, could be bought and sold easily.
just some features from btc that makes it the future.
It's already happening now, the convenient way of transacting from anywhere on the earth and it could be reflected on the ledgers already. Right now, I don't think "quick and cheap" would be the way to say it because right now the transaction fees are really high and if you want to confirm it fast, you need to have a high transaction fee. That's the drawbacks in my opinion.
9349  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: June 06, 2017, 02:07:02 AM
Tax is not bad. We need to pay tax because it needs for our country to survive. However its application is the one that make it hard to understans because as person and individual citizen we are already paying our taxes plus the item that we purchased has tax as well. And that makes me feel that this is too much and looks like a theft already. If someone can stand and do something about this. Because its very hard to live by always paying taxes its like we are only workig for the sake of the government which they dont care about us.
That's true, it's the governments' payroll that we're paying for (if you are paying taxes). The people in the government are the ones to be blamed or can be investigated when they have an unaccountable wealth. If they can't explain their wealth, then probably they got it illegally or something like that. That's the real theft in my opinion.
9350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: June 06, 2017, 02:04:37 AM
I have never thought about that, maybe it would have some kind of effect, and probably it's going to work if you manage to do your best on it somehow.  Gambling can have many effects on everything and can be affected by moods, attitude, opponents, etc. If you believe that your superstitions are working, then go with it.
9351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA FINALS (Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers) on: June 06, 2017, 02:02:16 AM
Once again the Cavs let them self down in the 3rd quarter just like in game 1 but now they return home down 2-0 in the series and I am expecting the Cavs to get the win in game 3. It's all about the money now and ratings so they need the Cavs to win and make the series go longer. I'm still expecting a game 7 in this series just like last year.
They give up on defense. That's why GS outscored them. That's worst defense I've seen on Cleveland. If they play good defense. I think they could win that match. But again, weak defense. They let KD and Curry get their rhythm. That's why they are hot on shooting. Just a little space. You pay for it. They are very dangerous if you let them wide open. If they put more pressure on these two players. They will force other player to score for them. But that's not what's happen.
For sure, they would probably make a gameplay for their mistakes and come back at it. It's a matter of fact that the feeling would make them better by learning and acknowledge them on what they would do in the next game.  They could really do something about their defense and how they come short against GSW.
9352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of the money on: June 06, 2017, 02:00:36 AM
Which game you played when you earned most of money?
Before asking this question, are you sure about the possibility of making money from gambling ?
Because many gamblers are not making money from gambling and they are just losing there. I am also one of them. I guess it would be more interesting question if you as like in which game people have lost most of the money.
I think most people gambling can bring in money and also lose when they play gambling all depends on your luck on the fate of each one of them so I can make sure own money from gambling because I never felt my luck when playing gambling dice. only fared the goddess fortuna only
It also depends on how you play, depending on the game you play and depends on how much you bet per game. It depends on luck but also in strategy. If you can somehow increase your chances in winning the games, wouldn't you do it? Strategies can come a long way, not just improve your chances but improve your experience in playing.
9353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: June 06, 2017, 01:57:30 AM
You shouldn't gamble what you can't afford to lose in the first place. I agree that the majority of people who gamble is in the red. Even if they win sometime, but they still lose more before. And a few one who's positive have a great luck. And the purpose of gambling is to enjoy the game.

Gamblers will not remember this that they need to gamble only what they afford to lose. The extent feeling of always winning when they started to play is what always comes out of their mind. It's not worth it when these addicted gamblers, realized that they need to moderate their addiction and convert their time to some other good things.
That's true, they feel what they need to feel and see what they need to see in order to gamble continuously. It could lead to problems in the future if they are not addressed properly. They shouldn't let themselves be on the negative side of the profit table, make a way and probably enjoy it.
9354  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Save the planet or not on: June 06, 2017, 01:55:18 AM
For me, we have to save the planet, not for us but for the future generations to come. I am an environmentalist and yes I know that our planet is slowly dying, and save I know that if we save it or not, this planet would still die because it's made this way. Now, my point is, it is up to us to control the speed of this planet's death, it's either we let it die fast or slow.
Yes we have to save it because we have no other choice .In my own research and opinions now global warming is not totally true ,but the truth is we see some big changes in our planet even its true or not we need to conserve what we have our resources is limited ,water becomes dirty in some part of the river and sea so the people will only have the right to save our planet .

You still believe that the global warming is a myth? What about the sharp increase in the average temperatures during the last few decades (especially since the 1970s)? It has been scientifically proven.
Believing that global warming is not true, then probably you have never researched on the actual facts. Scientific facts that can be easily seen and don't tell me that it's a conspiracy because it isn't. He is correct in the resources, that it is limited and needs to be conserved, that's why there are scientists that research on those kinds of stuff and we should do ourselves a favor in doing our part also.
9355  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump pulling out of Paris Climate Deal - Here's why I think it's great! on: June 06, 2017, 01:50:53 AM
Climate deals only last as long as a president stays in power, unless they get 3-4 terms in the USA only binding obligations will ever change that outcome. That said regardless of whether they are in or not in aggregate everyone suffers from the greenhouse effect, and cancer near the production locations. I say plant more trees so we can farm them later ^^.
I think that all the same things like climatic arrangements should be supported by all countries that use very large production. The fact is that there is a large percentage of the impact of CO2 emissions on the atmosphere. Of course, you can fix this situation, plant many trees, but at the same time a person destroys a large number of forest points. We do not have time to recreate what has already been destroyed.
I'm just curious on what you said, farm trees. Get the harvest probably, not farm the trees. Everyone suffers from the causes that humans have done here on our planet and there should be done at least something. We are already on the verge of the destruction of the earth. The abnormal weather, humidity, ice in the Antarctica reduces, etc. There are a lot of signs that we are destroying the planet.

When I say plant trees I meant forestry industries who want to sell them for profit later, the people who plant pine trees and conifers for timber and pulp and Christmas trees, in the end the tree is fallen but because their is an economic interest people replant their fields and put new trees in instead of leaving it clear cut and left alone to be turned into pasture land.

It would be good to keep the trees in general since they produce more Oxygen when they mature but it doesn't hurt to clear the fields now and then to reduce the forest fire risk and revive the vegetation, nature does a good job of doing that over the years without human intervention the problem is that if we firefight and stop the burns the fires that do happen will be bigger and more dangerous than if they are allowed to burn, and new vegetation may not be able to grow in the underbrush due to the lack of sunlight so forest management does have a role for cutting down and replanting old trees now and then they eat CO2 to grow hence its a viable strategy in eco protection.
http://www.fopap.org/the_truth_about_trees.html
That's definitely true and that would be a lot of help with the environment. And I like your saying that what you said, human intervention, that's where the problem happens (if you are negative and destroying the environment to make a profit). That's what people wants nowadays, pure money and that's going to be a problem because they just care about the money and not the world they are leaving in. It's like saying "Climate Change is a Conspiracy" and that's just turning your eyes away from the problem, running away from it. It's just that it's a stupid decision.
9356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Android apps and widgets on: June 06, 2017, 01:45:10 AM
Is Jaxx wallets easy to attack? Coz its private key is stored in cloud.  Or it is just for small amount of coins.
I haven't tried Jaxx wallets but keeping it in a cloud would probably attract hackers if they can really hack it and get into it. The cloud is an amazing thing, not just with that sensitive information (if you are keeping lots of money in your wallet there). Better use it for small amounts.
9357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoins now, At this price, It Isn't working on: June 06, 2017, 01:43:02 AM
Usually, after a sharp price climb, such as that of the last month, there will be a couple of corrections. Don't buy yet. Wait for a couple of corrections before buying BTC. At the moment, the price is quite high, but I am expecting at least another correction before a stable price.

it already happened when the price dropped from 2700 to 2200. it lingered there for a while then slowly made its way back up to the current price. that is the correction for that bull run. this just shows that there is more trust in bitcoin now or there are new players coming in pushing the price back. the price may not look back anymore unless there is a major setback that will pull the price back down.
Now it's getting back up and we could see the potential more and more about the bitcoins price. I'm just curious that there are just people who are just concerned with the price and not really learn what's behind it. It's definitely something that you could wait because if you really know Bitcoin, you would know it's worth a lot more.
9358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: June 06, 2017, 01:40:47 AM
Basing on how the Bitcoin works, it definitely can be advantageous to people who are doing criminal deeds. You can literally go and buy bitcoin to buy drugs or something illegal, and that opens the way with that. That's a bad thing, and that's what faces bitcoin now, and that makes people think that bitcoin is a bad thing.
9359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: June 06, 2017, 12:17:06 AM
Control greed on gambling really very tough.you need to setup your target how much profit or loss after you stop and you should obviously strict on that target.gamble how much can effort.better to stop gambling.I never seen  anyone win on gambling continuous.if you are addict on gambling you must lose all your investment.
Yes, although gambling are just games but there are no wrong when play gambling, we must have rules on play gambling, include money management, risk losing management on play gambling games. Stay follow on the rules that has been made and  always  dicipline will control feel greed on gambling games.

You need to be good in money management if you are a gambler, that will be your indicator if you are going to keep on moving or you need to stop for awhile. And as your goal is to control your greediness, you need to have the full control on your money as you can't gamble without money Be tight when holding your money.
It's not just gambling that you need money management from, normal people need that. Some people tend to spend their money on things they do not need or need yet, instead of using their money in more important matters, they just spend it on themselves. Not all people are like that and probably some do manage, some don't. It's the discipline that you need, in the day to day lives, not just in gambling.
9360  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Hot or Not ?] Male fashion for this summer, according to the Huffington Post on: June 06, 2017, 12:11:15 AM
How is that going to help you? Wearing those kinds of things won't protect you from the sun or something. Since it's summer, it's better to wear shorts compared to that. Definitely not the best fashion for men.  Shocked  Cheesy
