9381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC Delays Decision on SolidX Bitcoin Trust on: January 08, 2017, 05:10:04 AM
Let's hope this project kicks of sooner than later. This shall help the popularity of Bitcoin grown even further. Maybe the SEC is arm twisting them to agree into somw deals that may not be good and that's why the delay. I do hope that it's get started sooner it will be really good and exciting. Let's keep our hands folded with positive expectations that it shall be given permission to operate.
9382  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which stock market? on: January 08, 2017, 04:41:14 AM
Op no site will directly accept Bitcoin as stock exchange. One it's not recognized currency. Two it's prices keep on fluctuating. You can do one thing is keep on buying and selling your btc for Fiat at local Bitcoin or there are many sellers here, I dont Know if I can post the link here, or you can message me I will send you, you can read about his trust if you want to buy and sell. That's the only way to do it.

9384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar Opened , your first impressions ? on: January 07, 2017, 03:10:04 PM
This is a very positive start it's been so many months and I hardly knew about this. It's decent but to say it can take on eBay just cause it accepts Bitcoin is huge imagination. I don't think it can just beat eBay by use of Bitcoin, it will require more than Bitcoin heavy marketing needs to be done. More and more people should be using btc. Each and every country should accept Bitcoin then maybe.
9385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm doing a study on Bitcoin on: January 07, 2017, 03:05:30 PM
Does anyone know of any research into how much and what % of revenue businesses are receiving in Bitcoin?

One of the main barriers for worldwide adoption of Bitcoin is that many people don't see the tangible benefit. This study hopes to show the bottom-line benefit that businesses are getting.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

You need to provide more details of what revenue you want. Are you looking for a revenue earned by the exchanges that buy and sell Bitcoin. Or are you trying to say revenue earned by people using Bitcoin. Or the people who exchange the money and keep certain commission. I would suggest you to provide more details and be more specific so people will be able to guide you and do publish your report here.
9386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China central bank to release digital currency prototype in 2017 on: January 07, 2017, 03:02:21 PM
Well they can try and good luck to them. It shall fall flat on their face, cause it's again going to be centralized and government can track it, and not to forget the taxes they need to pay on the Fiat digital currency. Plus it's value won't increase like btc, it will remain same just trying to be cashless invokes lots of risk. Next year we all will read of how they tried but did not succeed lol
9387  Economy / Speculation / Re: The China Effect on: January 07, 2017, 11:45:23 AM
What is happening right now with the value of Bitcoin can all be partly traced to China. Chinese hold a big portion of the quantity of Bitcoin now circulating globally...they can manipulate its value and whatever they do that can affect Bitcoin will have a direct and indirect impact on its market value. Not to mention the fact that pronouncements from the China government in relation to Bitcoin can send the value of Bitcoin tumbling down or rolling up.

And this leads me into thinking...is Bitcoin now tied to China and is there something we can do about it?

I had this similar question on my mind when I had read Chinese news and knew the prices would tumble down and so did it. We are really helpless of you see as there's no way to fight it. They have cheapest electricity and have a major share of the Bitcoin in their hand. We all are just playing mere spectators and will have to watch as to how the Chinese government will further affect the Bitcoin prices.
9388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Investment: risk or benefit? on: January 07, 2017, 10:50:53 AM
-Benefits is you may use that bitcoin to invest in other Bitcoin services and invest bitcoin is safe, profit good
-Risk is that Bitcoin collapses and if countries and government accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin will have tax, your computer can be hacked
What’s your opinion?

First of all understand there's nothing like a risk free investment. There's risk involved in almost everything so you think it will be risky in Bitcoin then it's also risky in Fiat. You need to learn to play smart. All you need to buy at low levels and sell at high levels. Keep on earning from different sources. Even if the government bans they never owned it anyway and they can't find your are the owner, so they are helpless anyway. The only is risk is price devaluation but that happens with all currencies.
9389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: January 07, 2017, 10:40:35 AM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?

Bitcoin is the only crytocurrency I recognise, it's the king in the North for me. I owe my alliance to it. Yes you easily exchange it and even buy it. Swizz has shops where you can purchase goods. Many shops now allow the use of Bitcoins. Also many gas pumps allow you to use Bitcoins. It's simply the best and keep on accumulating and trading you shall enjoy it. And if you see now the number of people have adopted it. There's also a school that accepts Bitcoin as a payment method. Use Bitcoin and forget the rest.
9390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: January 07, 2017, 09:04:01 AM
There is a thread about recomendations for the best wallet to use, but not all practice what they preach, so this poll is to see what people are actually using.
I understand that some people use multiple wallets of different kinds, so this poll asks which wallet is most used, this can be measured either by quantity of bitcoin or ammount of transactions.

I think this kind of thread has come up before, anyway you could have simplified it and kept it easier by listing names of the wallets. For the best one is Coinbase.com it's simple, easy and efficient to use. It's has good Security measures. Then there's Xapo but I never have used it but people love it. And of course the common wallets blockchain, there's not much to say about it. Then the thing one is supposed to take care is which wallet gives you the keys and this is important if you are holding a huge amount, hope it helps you.
9391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your new year start in gambling! on: January 07, 2017, 05:11:45 AM
Hey guys!

Don't want to brag or anything but I had a freaking good 2017 beginning!! I hope it's the same for you  Wink

Transformed my 0.04btc from my sig campaign into 0.25 while btc was hitting the 1000$  Grin Grin Grin

That can seem as small amounts but it's not for me and I think it's like the first time I multiply my initial gambling amount by 5  EDIT: by 6 in fact  Cheesy !

Did anyone hit a jackpot on this begining of 2017?

Haha you did brag but that's good for you. Small or big all amounts are welcome till the time we are winning it. I decided to stop gambling from the new year to make sure I could recover the looses by saving money, but when I see such posts they make me want to gamble and try my luck so as to win the huge price you have win. Let's hope even my gambling tactics pay off, only will gamble after saving some good money but good luck to all those who are gambling.
9392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: January 07, 2017, 05:08:45 AM
Don't fall for this tricks or tips, gambling can never be profitable it only is made to let you believe so that you keep on playing and loosing. In the hope that some day you shall win. Trust me I have seen the ugly side of gambling and you don't wish to see it, gambling till the time of fun is fine, but once it crosses that stage, it will lead your life in chaos. Stay away from it.
9393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Usage Reduce Demand Of Fiat? on: January 07, 2017, 04:10:54 AM
Is it correct if more people start to use Bitcoin than they will use less fiat currency than demand of fiat currency will reduce and at the same time Bitcoin value will be growing?

Not really Bitcoin and fiat both hold their importance in equal ways. Many people use Bitcoin and then convert it to Fiat to use it for daily working. Not all countries and places is Bitcoins used. So no I don't see that it will come to a end any time soon. Bitcoin and Fiat are two sides of the coin both are needed, cause if Bitcoins are in over demand caous would take place. Hence I feel both should be kept in one's wallet not only one that is either Bitcoin or Fiat.
9394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today's investors do not care about Bitcoin on: January 06, 2017, 04:04:24 PM
I think the Op is trying to say that current users and especially the ones from India and China, do not understand btc, all they saw a loophole and they used it fully. That's a valid concern and I. Don't think he is wrong to voice it out, this has actually spooked the btc price and yes one could say users have increased, people are using but this are temporary and they shall exit leaving a hole in the Bitcoin and we all should be ready to brace for a storm.
9395  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introduction to bitocin on: January 06, 2017, 08:03:09 AM
Hello could someone educate me on the importance of bitocin in third world countries?I live in one whereby its starting to  pick and want to be a part of it and dont know how to go about it?

Firstly I would recommend you to search by yourselve it's not that difficult. Secondly see Bitcoin is a crytocurrency and which is owned by no government. It is independent and is free to rise and fall. They are mined and are controlled on demand and supply. The best part is they are decentralised and so no one can manipulate them. It's a good hedge against all the existing currencies and any factor that may effect the local currency. I would recommend you to but in dips when ever it slows down. At least"10% of your retirement corpus you can Put.
9396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be the best moral / immoral ways to become Bitcoin millionaire? on: January 06, 2017, 07:04:45 AM
I think it would be interesting talk.

This topic is indeed interesting but don't you think it will give the guys who want to make btc illegally free ideas. I would say there's only one way and that is hard work, efforts nothing can be achieved without this. You need to be alert for the giveaway and all. Patience again is a big important thing, then you buy and sell of course. It's all about how much time you have and the risks you are willing to take shall make you Rich. Immorrally I am not aware much as to just make a scam deal and become and that's sad method.
9397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying More Bitcoins on: January 06, 2017, 06:34:50 AM
What do you mean under 1000$ did you but at 999 or 700 or what amount first specify it. You have done a good job by buying Bitcoins but have you brought it at a good price is subject to discusssion. A) you brought at low price and it increases you will be happy good choice. B) you bought at high price btc crashes, you will regret it is bad choice. So now wait and watch, buying btc is a good thing. Just be patient with it. Hope you shall reap good profits.
9398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Please give me advice, Bitcoin will rise again or go to hell? I'm scared on: January 05, 2017, 03:23:42 PM
No one will be able to tell you precisely, as no one knows this answer. Now you should ask yourself will I be severely affected with the price going down and can I function fully without the support of btc in near future. Do I need funds badly and sell it now so to avoid nasty shocks. If both the answer is no then hold your funds and sit back, just FYI life moved on before btc and will always move on, I love btc but I am just trying to make you take a proper decision.
9399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2016 ends,tell me which occurred in 2016? on: January 05, 2017, 12:39:05 PM
2016 is over and we are entering 2017
The worst incident what happened in 2016 during use bitcoin ?
tell me

The worst incident that happened to me was that one guy promised to pay very good returns on the Bitcoin, I was bit skeptical in the start but he paid many people and then I also gave him he paid me full amount with interests twice, and I should have controlled my greed but I gave him again and then he disappeared yet not recovered my money. That's the worst thing that happened to me, never ever falling for such tricks.
9400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is seeking Advice regarding Cryptocurrency on: January 05, 2017, 11:39:01 AM

I just asked Paypal, do they have any plans for cryptocurrencies and they said,

What do you think, What are your suggestions to help them in adapting cryptocurrency?

Best
Dudeperfect

If you believe that they actually considered your request and that they were going to pass it on the right person you should not be so naive. It's a standard reply and one of the polite way to end the topic. Paypal and Bitcoin I don't really see this happening anytime in future. PayPal has its host of rules and regulations and as rightly said they had seen it before and understood it would be problematic for them to get this technology. So stick with the existing technology, and let's wait to see what the future brings in view of paypal for Bitcoin.
