941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Permission to Use Bitcoin Logo on: November 12, 2019, 07:44:52 AM
Bitcoin is freedom its free to use for all and its logo is included of course, no one owns it. Unless you are using a custom bitcoin logo from a certain company.  I found so many bitcoin t-shirt online I dont think they bother to get a permission first from bitcoin org.
Just start printing and spread bitcoin good job Grin
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is more scary... on: November 12, 2019, 07:18:50 AM
Actually both are scary it depends on the situation, you invested on a project and the price dump and does not recover unless it is bitcoin because it will surely recover some altcoins will never recover and leave you in the dust.
Market manipulation is still scary but if you ride on the manipulation you can make it to your advantage if you made the right call but often most traders are rekt and jebaited.

If you have bad experience about them or you are being scammed, feel free to create a scam accusation thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 just provide necessary details to support your accusation. I have been seeing this on different social media, like youtube if this is really scam, youtube should make amends for promoting a scam ads. In fact I installed this myself along with etoro but I haven't trade yet.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: November 11, 2019, 05:20:13 PM
I don't think gamblers will stop even if they won a huge amount. If you are playing for fun nothing will stop you except if you are playing just for money alone and not entertainment and fun probably yes they will stop and live a comfortable life having an amount that can support your family for a lifetime. I don't think they will only stop gambling but working daily too, having a huge amount of money there is no need to work. But I believe if you are a gambler you're always be a gambler.
945  Other / Meta / Re: Open letter to bounty managers on: November 11, 2019, 04:48:00 PM
On Bitcoin payment signature usually, they require a minimum post of 15 to 25 to qualify for the week.  Bounty managers on services are really strict they only accept an applicant with earned merits with quality post it will help both projects for promotions and the forum. It's not really spamming if you are contributing.
Signatures on bounties board usually have 10 post requirements to get stakes and they are not strict even with no merit they accept applicants and some manager's concerns are only post count, not the quality I think that's spamming.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 5 on: November 11, 2019, 04:07:46 PM
If it's about money, not my pride I will absolutely join him right away but if it's about my pride I would prefer to challenge and beat him/her. First I need to observe his/her playstyle if he has some tricks or anything and finds his weakness if he has. It feels satisfying if you have beaten the best and it is very challenging and fun.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: November 11, 2019, 03:40:14 PM
I usually look at the projects team if its not fake, the concept of their project if it's unique, if they are active attending conferences and having AMA (Ask me Anything) on different social media, listed on a decent exchange with good trading volume. Not a fake volume generated by bots on not well-known exchange. Listed on CMC or coingecko with good reputation don't risk on suspicious projects.
948  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}: Fake Trezor pops up in Google on: November 10, 2019, 02:48:46 AM

Thanks for the info, Tried it and found the same, this is alarming why google allow this kind of malicious attempt without reviewing the ads first.
I guess this is not only on trezor maybe some exchanges and another well-known wallet too. Pretty much the same on google playstore fake app, scammers duplicate any app so we need to check the uploader every time.

That's how competent google on their so called restrict crypto ad policy. Basically, they just accept any crypto ads without even scanning or researching about the ad, they just want money.

If anyone who don't want to get any ads, on website or even on search engines, just use ad blocker, I recommend uBlock Origin for chrome, firefox and some chromium based browser.
I have Adguard  ad blocker, ads like that can't be blocked, testing uBlock Origin now.

EDIT: changing my adguard to uBlock Origin. uBlock blocked it completely. Thanks
949  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Tutorial] How To Report Phishing Email & Create Auto Delete Filter - Gmail User on: November 10, 2019, 01:24:16 AM
~
Thanks for this useful instructions, We can't really stop scammers from doing bad things so we need to create countermeasures like this one.

Add extension Suspicious Site Reporter for chrome browser or Netcraft Anti-Phishing Extension for firefox.
It will automatically detect phishing or unconfirmed website.

I don't use before, so I can't review those both extensions.
Thanks for this I use Cryptonite - Online Identity Protection but it is paid now but they have a free 1-month trial, I will try this suspicious-site-reporter looks like it is free.  But I always do the old ways to always check the URL or where the email is coming from before clicking anything.

Hey guys cryptonite just block a phishing attempt from a legit social media "twitter" I am just amazed they have detected the user is a scammer or has a malicious attempt. He tag me and then I click the twitter notif and then this pop-up.

951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 08, 2019, 02:20:20 AM
If you have at least a small business you can use it to introduce it to your neighbors by accepting bitcoin as payments, they will be curious about it and start learning about it and probably they will ask you and it is your task to encourage them. I have seen a small business in my country accepting bitcoin it is a small tech cellphone repair shop, I'm just amazed with what I am seeing.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: honest opinion on our future gaming platform project. on: November 08, 2019, 01:20:52 AM
Not that unique gambling platform but I like the graphics of Crash it's like playing a casual game with a price. For now, I cannot review or give an opinion until I tried it. I'll give an honest review when your platform has launched. Hoping there is no delay with deposit and withdrawal that's everybody wants an instant transaction with active support.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto-powered social network a trend? on: November 08, 2019, 12:04:16 AM
They targeted social media platforms because they believe it will be a trend, they are assuming to be like facebook with a bunch of users around the world.
With a lot of audiences, they can promote to a large scale of people but the question is, will their platform click? I guess not, I have encountered a lot of new start-ups projects that fail with a concept of crypto social media. I guess twitter and facebook, etc. is hard to beat they have gained their reputation. These new startups have bump into a wall. Grin
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Turkey working on their own digital by end of 2020 on: November 07, 2019, 04:49:43 AM
Who cares if it's crypto when it's centralized, controlled and under the eyes of the government. They would never put a cap on fiat, they can change the rules, they can now just more easily spy on transactions if they produce the wallets. It's a shit scenario. Fuck state owned crypto.
If it is centralized who cares just don't use it, but the good thing is, it will spread crypto awareness in the whole nation or the world, everyone will be curious and start learning about cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. People will search for history and will find and end up with the real thing which is BTC. This is a free marketing for bitcoin  Grin
955  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are Airdrops worth participating in? WHERE to find all of them? on: November 06, 2019, 12:43:02 PM
I want to be frank most of the airdrop now is not worth it, so many scams, if ever it is legit the allocation is very small you will get below $1 which is a waste of time you can't even sell it on the exchange. However, there few that still exist and gives a decent amount.

I recommend these two but not in Asian countries and always try in your own risk.

Coinbase  - need KYC, in some countries the reward is not instant especially on Asia.

Keybase - No need KYC - Selected countries are allowed.

956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: November 05, 2019, 04:34:04 PM
I think investors have learned from their mistakes, IEO dominates now ICO days are gone. If I am a wise investor I will just buy on trusted exchanges learn trading and invest on trusted projects only. I will not gamble on new projects which its future is not secured and very dim and has a low chance of getting profits.
957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Did China Dominate Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2019, 03:15:07 PM
I guess because china is not so strict than US? US has been well-known for a very tight security country and china wants to adapt and take the risk, they are business-minded people willing to learn about new technology, In fact, they are tokenizing their national currency and will be launching soon, I think what china is doing will have a great impact on crypto community.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you records your winnings and losses stats? on: November 05, 2019, 02:50:02 PM
If we start to register our stats we will quit gambling almost immediately because in most cases the lost amount would be more than the won amount.I also do not keep track of anything except of the maximum bankroll I will spend within a month and no matter what happens,if I win or lose that’s all the amount I gamble for the month.

Cheesy This is hilarious, yeah you are right I might quit or feel down after seeing the amount I have lost from the start. Maybe just forget about what we have lost and moved on. I guess my question has been answered and I am satisfied. Thanks for your feedback guys. I will close this thread now.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Did you records your winnings and losses stats? on: November 05, 2019, 02:06:59 PM
Hi, I am just curious if you record all winnings and losses statistics in all betting platforms that you join? In my case, I don't record anything I just play for fun I just play when I want to and I am just looking at my capital if it grows or not. Do professional gamblers records everything to track and review how much they lose or win? I knew some sites have all the history of our bets but I am talking about all betting sites that we have joined like a spreadsheet with a grand total.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The use of stable coins or no? on: November 05, 2019, 01:27:51 PM
~
This is the purpose of stablecoins they are designed to minimize the volatility of the price, I don't think it will cause congestion when selling bitcoin into fiat. Often the conversion will happen on a platform or a crypto wallet. Conversion or selling from BTC to Fiat is most likely instant. Simultaneous withdrawal or sending of bitcoin will cause the network to be congested.
