941  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW TO AVOID DOUBLE POSTING (CLOUDFARE ISSUE) on: July 09, 2023, 11:23:04 PM
In some of my post I didn't experience the long loading I don't know if the issue is already fixed but you could easily avoid the double posting for sure, after experiencing the issue, most of the button seems to be okay, preview button seems to be working fine and then if you already posted the topic editing it seems to be completely fine I didn't encounter any issue editing only if I click the post button I encounter the long loading.

After testing it I already understand how you could avoid getting the double post.

My post is taking too long to post and then I'm going to get the error It's just taking too long, my internet seems to be okay and fast so for sure, there are some issues.

It didn't show me my post as posted in the thread so I ended up posting my topic 2 times because of the issue so I just delete the 2nd one, browsing some topics seems to be okay and fast as well but I would just encounter the issue when I started to post.

Edited:

It seems to load for a long time without confirming that the post is posted but actually, if your going to check your post history your going to see that the post is already posted. so there are a lot of posts here in the forum that get double because after clicking the button they just don't know that the post is already posted so they ended up clicking the post button again or refreshing and clicking the post again.

Didnt encounter some of the issues it seems to be okay even though the preview is working completely, and editing seems to be okay as well, it doesnt seem to be a big problem because it is just the loading part that annoys me.

So if you click the post button already it seems like it was taking too long to load but the post seems to be posted fine, if your going to visit your recent post your going to see that the post is posted, so the tendency is you see the long loading some of the members probably think that it is still not posted but it is already posted, then they are going to refresh the page because of the loading then repost the topic so it always get double.
942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin experience a more price increase during the halving? on: July 09, 2023, 10:52:42 PM
When Binance and Coinbase were sued by the SEC
Institutions should be afraid, but why are institutions the other way around?
institutions even apply for licenses to their respective regulators, and instead open a digital asset service?

And if the institution has entered, the pump should have happened, especially when it coincided with
halving in 2024. Right?

So, when institutions come in, and their bitcoins are custodied by them.
Are the bitcoins on the market becoming scarcer? plus, because there will be a halving?
and that means potentially Bitcoin will become more expensive as it becomes scarcer, and more numerous
less?

I'm sure many of the seniors in this forum know more about what happened and what will happen, therefore I beg the seniors to give a little knowledge and experience to us newbies, Really appreciate your discussion, Thanks.

I mean most of these cases did happen before and most people think that it's serious and it's different from that time, so Bitcoin might be in a bad situation at that time but most of the time it doesnt seem to change anything. Bitcoin halving is going to happen soon, but is it going to impact the market, probably yes Since it is a huge event on Bitcoin most of the time Bitcoin halving is a big hype if we're going back to the past Bitcoin halving we can see the market price skyrocket on the Halving getting from a 1000$ then gets double to 2500$ last 201, after that we already see the price skyrocket to 56k$ one year after the bitcoin halving on 2021. We notice that there was some delay on the pump after but we can notice that after one year of the Bitcoin halving the halving seems to get hype and skyrocketed, So if we're going to project that to the next Bitcoin halving in 2025 we could maybe expect the next bull run if we're going to rely on the halving timeline.

944  Economy / Economics / Re: Deposits-in the bank or in gold? on: July 09, 2023, 10:05:24 PM
How to save savings in inflation, there are many deposits provided by the bank, but banks often go bankrupt, does it make sense to buy gold? How is gold bought in a bank and interest is issued on it?

I mean yes if you put your money in the bank most of the time the interest your going to get is just too low and at the same time the value of it is dropping because of inflation but at the same time you still need to put some amount on your bank so that you have a cash or emergency cash that you could get at any time, also your gonna need a saving so you could put that in the bank as well. So at least your put some savings that are up to 3 months of your salary as your savings.

No doubt that gold is better as an investment since the value of it is almost guaranteed that after years you're going to get a higher value of it. But if it is always better for long-term investment even though it is gold the value of it is still volatile so if you planning to just sell it after a few months or a year your probably not going to get a lot of profit or possibly you could also lose your money.
945  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin What is the probability of 60 K+ again? on: July 09, 2023, 03:14:26 PM
2022 In 22 trade I have never had to accept so many losses since the advent of cryptocurrencies. Those who are mainly dependent on trade are now on the verge of destitution. Before 2022, it seems that trading has not suffered so much loss2022 is a cursed year for traders. If anyone has any idea on when bitcoin position will turn please share it will save many traders like me from losing.

Bitcoin market price dropped significantly after it hit an all-time high which is around 60k-70k$ which is a huge amount, It would make sense that you did make a good profit last Bullrun since the market price of Bitcoin at that time and most of the cryptocurrency continue to skyrocket you could just go with the flow of the market that time just buying low and selling on high but on the last Bullrun it just continues to increase its market price most of the time. Comparing it to the trades since the month which is having a lot of resistance like today the market price was stuck on the 30k$ and then I remember we did experience a deep on around 15k$ which is I think a good opportunity already I buy bitcoin that time.

We can't predict accurately the movement of the market so what we can always do is plan our buy and exit strategy in the market, my advice is to position on the market early while there are still an opportunity to buy at lower price I think its a good time to accumulate bitcoin since bitcoin market price could easily skyrocket at any moment.
946  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What was your biggest fear with starting in crypto? on: July 08, 2023, 11:58:53 PM
Genuinely want to know what prevents your friends/gf/ colleagues from investing? Did you have any barriers when you first started?

My experience I started to learn Bitcoin when I was just a student, I try to find ways how I'm going to invest in Bitcoin but since I'm a student my biggest barrier was the money, as a student I do not have the money to invest on Bitcoin, And I imagine now that if I did but bitcoin that time, it's going to be a huge profit since the market price of Bitcoin that time as just around 400$ if I did have enough money to invest on Bitcoin I did make a big amount of profit.

I would say that knowledge as well is really plays a big part here, I don't really have enough knowledge on Bitcoin at that time so I don't really know what to do at that time, If I have the knowledge that I have today that time I'll probably going to buy with my own money using my allowance just to invest on Bitcoin. I'll probably still make a decent profit if I did that. Money and knowledge I guess was probably the most common that prevent beginners and newbies on starting on investing on Bitcoin.

947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting Bitcoin on: July 08, 2023, 11:32:24 PM
Since I joined this forum I have always wanted to invest in Bitcoin however Bitcoin investments in my country is not easy because of our currency value and the government is not in much support am currently working on convincing my mom to accepting Bitcoin in her tailoring shop i Also intend on hodling those Bitcoins

I would appreciate any advice on this my move

Investing in Bitcoin is great but if you think that investing in Bitcoin is going to put you in trouble in your country it's better not to do it since that could just lead to losing your investment, But if you have enough knowledge and know what your doing then go and invest on it. I mean Bitcoin is decentralized so it's natural actually doesn't really need the support of the government. I mean in my opinion, the Bitcoin price at this moment was already a good value, accepting Bitcoin on your Bitcoin is not that great since it's a volatile currency your investing the money directly on Bitcoin meaning you are forced to buy Bitcoin every time there was a customer who pays Bitcoin which is probably great but that could end up bad on your business because your not really going to sell that Bitcoin right away your just going to leave it as a bitcoin then sell it if you have a opportunity for profit that just mean that your business need a lot of cash flow so make your you could still sustain your business if your going to accept Bitcoin payments.

I mean if your really interested on investing on Bitcoin just do it and start your journey already, what you can do is dollar cost average to lower your risk and at the same time you could just invest the money that you want weekly or monthly.
948  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot on: July 08, 2023, 11:07:20 PM
Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot

And is there any other alternatives

I have 4k btc to invest

If I need to choose between the two I would choose to copy trading but both of this are not great, copy trading wasn't really that bad since you're going to copy the trading of the people who makes a lot of profit so you could easily guarantee that you're not going to lose money since they are probably the most professional trader but if you really want to invest on cryptocurrency or Bitcoin the first rule is you should be the one that is going to do it, not like you're going to invest on someone who is a trader and then give them your money letting them trade for you, if you do that there is a good chance that you're just going to lose your money.

I mean I see a lot of trading bots already sometimes these bots are lucky and able to create some profit but most of the time they just lose the trading, I don't think there was an accurate bot that could easily predict the market if there was then bot traders I guess was already rich, but it was not so just don't do bot trading to avoid losing money.
949  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: July 08, 2023, 06:37:37 PM
Luxury watches at the top end of the market can be considered as an alternative form of investment. While I don't possess extensive knowledge about watches, my understanding from available information suggests that reselling them can yield a substantial profit. The return on investment for luxury watches tends to be quite satisfactory. Prominent examples of such watches include Patek Philippe, Rolex, and Audemars Piguet, some of which have a waitlist spanning two years. Most of these watches tend to appreciate in value.

However, the worth attributed to an item is typically influenced by its demand and supply. While I believe that owning one or two high-end watches, provided they are well-maintained, may outperform stocks, gold, and real estate, it's worth noting that their appeal may diminish over time. This is because future generations are increasingly gravitating towards other interests, such as bitcoin and other emerging trends. If given the choice, would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin, digital assets, gold, stocks, or real estate?

In my opinion, owning a luxury brand wasn't really a bad investment I mean it's a good investment since most luxury watches or vintage watches are collectibles so the value of it is increasing over time depending on the rarity, but these luxury brands' cost you a big amount of money so it's obviously going to be risky as well putting on this watches, I mean it wasn't really a guaranteed profit as well.

I would prefer Bitcoin investment compared to other assets or investments like luxury watches, just because of the high investment in luxury watches I would not prefer it, I also feel like these watches could be just for people who can afford this kind of item, it's going to be huge money if some of this watches prices are going to drop so you should make be able to afford that, your gonna need a lot of knowledge about this items if you really want to invest on this kind of brands. Unlike Bitcoin, you could invest as low as you want and still earn a good amount of profit in the future. But I invest in Bitcoin for the goal of buying an asset like a house that I want to use as an apartment where I could earn a passive income.
950  Economy / Speculation / Re: Whats your thought on: July 08, 2023, 04:58:04 PM
I'm curious about the recent pump in Bitcoin's price. What are your thoughts on the factors that contributed to this surge? Do you believe it was primarily driven by positive news, investor speculation, increased mainstream awareness, or a combination of these factors? How do you think this pump will impact the overall cryptocurrency market? Looking forward to hearing your insights and opinions!"
Whenever bitcoin makes an increase in its USD value it means the demand for Bitcoin has boosted as that has reacted in the price so since Bitcoin is not like all those shitcoins/altcoins it then means using the term pump in your attempt to define the recent price increase in bitcoin is wrong so in an attempt to uncover the reason behind the recent price increase for Bitcoin I stumbled on a couple of reasons but then we have to know that Bitcoin as a volatile asset, does not rely on a particular event of news to make a price rise since it price depends only on the demand.

I mean yes the Bitcoin market price basically depends on the supply and demand on the market, if the demand is high and the supply is low then that could easily boost the price of Bitcoin making it pump to a certain percentage. There are a lot of factors that contribute to the bitcoin market price pump but the most common just depend on the news, articles, etc. online since that is the one that creates FUD or encourages investors to buy bitcoin most of the time. Bitcoin market price could easily skyrocket at any time pump like this at 30k$ could easily be good news meaning that the bitcoin demand is increasing, but there is resistance at 30k$, one great piece of news about Bitcoin could easily break this resistance for sure.

You can't really accurately predict the movement of the market since there are a lot of factors that affect its movement of it, so the best thing to do is just to position your self to this kind of pump, market price could probably stay at the 20k-30k$ range but at any moment it could easily trigger and skyrocket, if you accumulate enough Bitcoin when the market price is still low you could potentially make a good profit in a short amount of time.

952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm officially not a newbie anymore!!! on: July 07, 2023, 11:49:35 PM
I'm happy to say that I am no longer in the newbie rank. I can remember being ashamed of the newbie rank glaring on my profile. I soon got used to it and then ignored it and focused on growing my knowledge on btc and crypto in general. I can say I've learnt a whole lot with loads more to learn. Learning is a continuous process and I look forward to growing in continuous knowledge and information sharing here in the forum.

Very well Congratulation then, I mean nothing is wrong with being a newbie we are all once a newbie at some point and that is the time when we learn a lot about cryptocurrency there's nothing to be ashamed of that. You know nothing is wrong if you're asking a lot, if you don't know anything about something you just need to ask about it nothing is wrong with that and its better than just doing nothing, newbies are the future of this future, lot of high ranks members are already inactive some of the members are already old so soon, newbies and low-rank members will be the future of this forum. My advice is just don't mind your rank in the future, continue your journey on cryptocurrency with that you could easily share your experiences in your journey and at the same time if you don't understand anything you could easily ask here in the forum, your going to rank up naturally there was no pressure there, you could take a break anytime when your tired, good luck on your journey mate!.
953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching Bitcoin is not do or die on: July 07, 2023, 06:33:37 AM
I completely agree that we shouldn't force anyone to learn Bitcoin, Teaching someone about Bitcoin could be a big help in Bitcoin adaptation but sure there are still a lot of ways and it's going to adapt in a lot of countries whatever the government does it's going to happen soon, its always my take about the discussion of teaching our kids about bitcoin I really think it's a  great thing to teach our kids bitcoin but not at a very early age probably the best time is when they are teenagers you could start teaching them about it and when they reach collage you could probably teach them how to buy bitcoin and teach them what it is. I mean it's not actually necessary that your kids needed to learn Bitcoin but if you know Bitcoin it feels like you need to teach this to your kids, but you can't really force anything if your kids get interested in Bitcoin then it's a good thing if not then maybe they need to realize something first before knowing the importance of investing and saving. I mean forcing someone is not really going to work you cannot force them to invest or buy Bitcoin it would just end up broke in the end, investing in Bitcoin is a risky thing, and without knowing what is Bitcoin your risking your money and probably going to end up losing it.
954  Other / Meta / Re: Know who ignores who on: July 07, 2023, 02:03:26 AM
Lately I've been wondering if we can find out who ignored us.
Is there any way to find out who ignored us?  Huh

No, just don't mind it I guess, I mean that if we can see who ignored us that could to more problems since members might get revenge on you at some point right unless if it has the option you could make it private or public then with that you could decide if you want to show it or now but I guess its better this way just for privacy. I mean the forum is not perfect there are still a lot of conflicts from a lot of members here so that could just trigger more conflict in the future. Even though it wasn't like red tagging someone I guess it might still hurt someone if they know that they are on someone's ignore list.

This was just a preference of the members if they don't want to see your post they could ignore you I mean it wouldn't really affect you other members just prefer it that way so let's just respect that. Also, some members just use ignore list on spammers here in the forum, I guess if your high rank here like DTs there just so much going on so putting spammers on ignore list could lessen that.
955  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: July 06, 2023, 07:20:58 PM
As a first post I wanted to try and motivate people in the community. If at least one person will be motivated by this post, it is a win for me!

Clearly, by the LUNA fall and then we are experiencing a bear market. No one can deny that.

I have been in the space since 2017 - I wasn't just too bored to write here, since now  Grin - and I have seen a lot of ups and downs from the market all this time.
It is obvious that people are losing attention when the market is down and they try to grab opportunities from serious even from scam projects during a bull market.

I just want to say to all the members that will read this that a bear market doesn't say anything about your investment. In the long term you are going to reap profits from the coin you have selected, especially if your coin is a well established one with developers with experience and passion for crypto evolvement.

A hint for that is the growth of Bitcoin through the years.

Bitcoin ROI is at 13820.78% right now, cosindering the fact that the price is pretty low right now it can still explode.

Keep accumulating crypto and you will reap the rewards in the future!

This bear market is actually a great opportunity to buy a cryptocurrency and Bitcoin at some point where going to reach a time high of bitcoin and when that happened all of the cryptocurrency on Bullrun skyrocket as well and it potentially a big amount of profit, we could easily project a good profit if we start to accumulate cryptocurrency and Bitcoin now while the market price is still below 30k$ and for altcoins blue chips altcoins that are probably guaranteed to skyrocket on the next bull run are so cheap in the market so its also a good opportunity to buy.

I mean yes looking at the History of Bitcoin this is always a cycle of bull market and bear market, we are expecting a huge pump, and probably its going to break the All time high, I was hoping for the market price to drop a few thousand dollars so that  I could get a huge discount on the bitcoin market price, there are still a pending stuff on SEC so price might be stagnant in the coming months so could possibly accumulate for before the Bitcoin halving hype.

Hello everyone!
I'm new here and happy to be part of this community, hopefully, to gain more knowledge about BTC and cryptocurrency, hope I'm in the right place.
I'm still trying to study how things work here.
Please, I would like to get your advice.
Thanks, everyone.

Welcome to the forum mate! No pressure here in the forum you could pretty much do whatever you want just make sure that you don't have any rules of the forum to avoid getting banned. Most of the things that you needed, knowledge about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin is already here in the forum, you just need to find it here or you could do your own topic ask question, etc. If your active your probably going to rank up and earn a good reputation but you don't need to worry about that.

For me the best first thing that you could do is to start in cryptocurrency already start investing in cryptocurrency or Bitcoin, starting your journey on cryptocurrency could help you understand a lot and the forum could easily guide you to what you wanted to know about cryptocurrency when I first started my journey on cryptocurrency I've read a lot of topics that is related to what I'm planning or I ask a lot of question about investing, is this a great buy? or is it a good time to invest? something like that. I mean to avoid mistakes make sure you learn from the experiences of the other members here in the forum don't get greedy and don't let your emotion take over. Good luck on your journey mate!
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you not hodling on: July 06, 2023, 03:50:06 PM
There are alot of persons out there who so wish to seize this very opportunity  to accumulate  and hodl more of bitcoin  but have no mean(money) to do so and this has been one of the major reasons to why people aren't hodling for now.

At some point,  some persons who even participate in signature  campaigns and earn bitcoin  without having to buy directly, who should have been the most persons to have some good figures in their portfolios still aren't having any because most of them either withdraw this earnings to fiat to be able to make ends meet or withdraw it to solve some issues but whatever the case be, alot of persons aren't hodling currently now not because they are ignorant  or even procrastinating but I believe  one of the major reason is because they don't have to means to invest.

And if you'll  agree with me that as a bitcoin enthusiast, we at some point believe  that after bitcoin  leaves this mess of instability,  then it should be aiming  for an all time high and no one would possibly  want to miss out of this intentionally if they have the means to buy.

Now I want to know what really do you think is holding people back for hodling this period?
Please try to answer the poll and I hope to update the thread with result of the thread after getting enough results, possibly after the 5th page.

In my case, the only reason why I'm not buying is because of lack of money if I do have a big amount of money I mean I would probably go to buy more, but for sure there are going to be other expenses and you can't really just invest all of your money on Bitcoin so at some point you're still going to save some of your money, budget your salary at some point you can't just use it all or buy bitcoin every time. It would obviously take time since you might have a better opportunity as well if the market price drop.

I don't think investors and traders do Procrastination since most of us who already have the knowledge surely are eager to buy any time, Fear of a later dip might be one of the reasons because its a common weakness of newbies.

Also, traders can hold for a long time if they have enough money or fiat that can sustain them through the years on holding since if you just forget about your investment then just let it rest through the years, probably you just need to watch the movement of the market at some point.
960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin maximum price on: July 05, 2023, 11:12:21 PM
Let's see the market prediction by crypto community.

I mean the market could probably skyrocket at any time because it is just a volatile market price hype could easily start with just one good article about Bitcoin for sure. Probably Im expecting the market price to reach around 50k$ this year or probably even more just because of the Bitcoin halving hype, honestly it could reach the ATH because of the Bitcoin halving I might sell a small percentage of my holding if the market price hype skyrocket the price of the All time high, I think its a fair price for sure and its a good opportunity to take profit but will never sell all of my Bitcoin unless it reach around a 100k$ which is probably going to happened when the Bullrun hits.

For sure it would take years before we hit the Bullrun is expected around 2025 then the last all-time high can easily be broken, then I'm just relaying on the Bitcoin halving next year to pump the market price, I think it is still a great event that could easily pump and hype the market. But honestly, it could skyrocket anytime, the SEC news could easily trigger that 30k$ resistance if that happened who knows if it could x2 already.
