941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: transaction unconfirmed on: May 21, 2020, 12:00:09 AM
Check out the average fee here https://www.blockchain.com/explorer?view=btc_averagefee, don't worry your transaction will confirm soon.

This kind of average fee is completely useless; it serves information purpose only. Most miners want to maximize their earnings so they mostly choose transactions which pay more satoshi per byte than other transactions. The current average fee (0.00066333 BTC) would be too high for a small transaction (1 inputs, 2 outputs) and too low for any large transaction. Most wallets don't allow you to set a fixed fee anyway.
942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: transaction unconfirmed on: May 20, 2020, 06:02:18 PM
so it will v likely get confirmed in a couple of days or else it will be reversed?

By default, transactions are dropped after 2 weeks. However, that depends on the node. You should be fine for the next few days, but we can't predict if the mempool is going to clear up soon so you might end up using CPFP. If your transaction is dropped from the mempool then the sender will be able to spend the funds again without any problems (if the transaction is marked as replaceable then it doesn't matter; it can be replaced even when it is in the mempool; dropped transactions can be rebroadcast by anyone unless they are no longer valid).
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: transaction unconfirmed on: May 20, 2020, 05:39:52 PM
Hi, im supposed to receive a BTC transaction but its been 2 days and still unconfirmed. Would appreciate some help in figuring out why please.

That transaction pays a really small fee compared to other transactions which are currently in the mempool. It pays 19 sat/byte fee while ~170 sat/byte is required to get a transaction confirmed in a few blocks. You can wait or ask the sender to bump the fee if transaction was marked as replaceable or use CPFP (spend those coins with a fee higher than 170 sat/byte). I have linked you a guide for Electrum, but it should be possible in most wallets too. What wallet are you using?
944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin not arrived / Ledger S / Electrum / Help me. on: May 20, 2020, 08:09:30 AM
Hello. Yes, you are right. I can see 4 transactions on this adress (bc1qj50q40uugqq23pz2nxgey3u2f0lphy3ls4x567) too. The fourth with ~0.1 BTC was not sent by me.

If your friend didn't send it or didn't ask anyone to pay him to that address then that is really concerning. Imagine how lucky you would have to be to receive free 0.1 BTC. I am sorry but it will seem to be someone else's address if your friend says that he doesn't know anything about the fourth transaction.

On friday i could see all the transaction, i think i have a problem with the derivation path, but i am not sure.

Still, this quote concerns me. The story doesn't add up. If you could see all the transactions then you should also had all the addresses. They shouldn't disappear on their own.
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: cancel unconfirmed tx on: May 19, 2020, 07:55:52 PM
any guide

I have already linked you a guide on removing a transaction from the wallet in the post above. This should be enough since you only need to create a new transaction with the same inputs after that. If you have a problem with that then you can enable Coins tab (View -> Show Coins) and select the same UTXOs (or at least one of them) from there (right-click and select 'Spend'). Why would you send transactions to yourself when transaction fees are extremely high?
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: cancel unconfirmed tx on: May 19, 2020, 07:39:02 PM
-snip

You cannot cancel a transaction. Electrum does not support Full RBF so creating a conflicting transaction is not easy. Since that transaction is replacable, you can attempt to double-spend. You have to modify the wallet file first (delete the unconfirmed transaction) before creating another one spending the same inputs.
947  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Disabling Email Authorization for a blockchain account on: May 19, 2020, 06:15:17 PM
I have recently been playing around the blockchain's basic and advanced settings but I can't seem to find a column to disable email authorization. I'm having issues interfacing with my wallet through an api because of this.

I don't think you can disable e-mails but you can use an IP whitelist, which is located in the Security Center, to bypass the authentication. You should have seen that option. Is there any reason why you don't want to use it?
948  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is some solution connect desktop Electrum Wallet and some mobile iOS wallet? on: May 19, 2020, 04:31:05 PM
But If you don't mind changing the wallet, you can try GreenAddress. I think it's the only (excluding Bither because it's unstable) open source wallet that supports both iOS and Desktop.

GreenAddress was actually renamed to Green: Bitcoin Wallet for mobile devices. I have tried the mobile version and it worked fine on Android. @zxbit, if you create a new wallet in Green Wallet then you will be able to use your new recovery phrase (the seed) in most wallets, including Electrum. This way you can recreate your Green Wallet addresses in Electrum on the desktop

Edit: Use a different wallet than GreenAddress.

I don't think so. These versions are multisig-wallets 2/2 too. You only have one BIP39 seed, and you need two to recover.

Actually, you're right. I was quite sure that I could use Green Wallet while being offline, but I have just double checked that and I am wrong. Normally, I would have recommended Samourai Wallet, but it hasn't been released for iOS, yet.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin not arrived / Ledger S / Electrum / Help me. on: May 19, 2020, 11:38:45 AM
I tried account from 0-9. My way is, trying to find the private keys for this Adress bc1qj50q40uugqq23pz2nxgey3u2f0lphy3ls4x567, so maybe i get a clue if he is the owner, but i cant find the private keys, so for me it looks also like he is not the owner. I dont know where are the coins, i have no explanation, except he is not the owner and make failure during copy & paste, but this never happened to him....

I don't think he is in control of that address either. You mentioned that you sent a total of 4 transactions. Three to that address and one to another one. However, I can see a fourth transaction in the missing address. Another ~0.1 BTC was sent to bc1qj50q40uugqq23pz2nxgey3u2f0lphy3ls4x567. Was that transaction sent by you?

What about bc1qefs2d4ck8mw68l24r9w7y2nwy7t3nkt43fw5pg address? You claim that your friend could see the transaction received to that wallet. Did you manage to find that address in one of these 10 accounts?
950  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Recovery Phrase Extraction Vulnerability on: May 19, 2020, 11:18:47 AM
In this latest post, Ledger warns that users of model T can be compromised even if they use passphrase, assuming their computer is compromised.

I think you meant Trezor One. Trezor T users can enter the passphrase directly on the device so it is not exposed to the computer. I wonder why they won't implement more secure passphrase entry just like their advanced recovery which works great. It would take much longer time to use a device, but it would be more secure.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin not arrived / Ledger S / Electrum / Help me. on: May 19, 2020, 10:51:23 AM
Friends. Today i tried to export my friend private keys with the BIP39 tool.

Are you referring to this tool? If so then first of all, you should use the offline version without the Internet connetion. Never enter your recovery phrase on any online website. Once you recover your friend's funds, create a new wallet using Ledger and send the coins there. You should be also be careful when entering the seed on a computer since it could be infected with some malware. Having said that, never enter your seed anywhere unless there is no other choice.

If you tried to use this particular tool to generate your addresses then you should have also modified the derivation path after entering your seed. Under 'Derivation Path', there are a few buttons (BIP32, BIP44, BIP49, BIP84, BIP141). Select BIP84 and you should see addresses starting from bc1. You can also easily modify the account number under that tab.

952  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor or Ledger? And how to get my forks Bitcoin Cash / Gold / SV?? on: May 18, 2020, 06:24:25 PM
My 2nd question is, would you trust coinomni more or Ledger? I received my Ledger today. But I wonder why not keep the coins on Coinomni? They say the private keys never leave the phone. And if you lose the phone, you can recreate your wallet with the 24 word phrase.

I would trust Ledger more. Since most phones are encrypted by default, you shouldn't be worried about coins getting stolen if you lost your device. However, you never know what kind of malware or vulnerabilities might affect your device. Hardware wallets are designed to be invulnerable to remote attacks unlike smartphones which are general purpose devices.
953  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Recovery Phrase Extraction Vulnerability on: May 18, 2020, 02:08:44 PM
They call it 'responsible disclosure'

Laughable. Trezor claims that Ledger asked them not to publish this issue.

That being said, we were surprised by Ledger’s announcement of this issue, especially after being explicitly asked by Ledger not to publicize the issue, due to possible implications for the whole microchip industry, beyond hardware wallets, such as the medical and automotive industries.

They also posted The Workaround

By the way, there is another workaround for Trezor T users. Since the latest update, SD cards can be used to store a secret which along with the PIN can be used to encrypt/decrypt the data stored on the device. So, without the SD card inserted, the attack is not valid anymore.

Why Ledger is posting this now on all their social media and website? Am I missing something?

I believe it is Ledger's answer to Trezor's recent announcement of Tropic Square.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin not arrived / Ledger S / Electrum / Help me. on: May 18, 2020, 12:12:32 PM

Keep in mind that before modifying the derivation path, you need to select the type of address (in your case native segwit p2wpkh). You can try modifying the last number of the derivation path to see if you have used a different account by an accident. So, after selecting the correct type of address, try m/84'/0'/0', m/84'/0'/1', m/84'/0'/2', m/84'/0'/3' .

On friday i could see all the transaction, i think i have a problem with the derivation path, but i am not sure.

Still, it sounds like a synchronization problem to me. Can you see a green dot in the bottom-right corner of Electrum?
955  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor announces Tropic Square on: May 18, 2020, 09:39:05 AM
It's interesting feature, but i wonder if we can use multiple SD card (by perform raw copy from one SD card to another) in case you lost or broke your SD card which is quite small and fragile Huh

Sure! Trezor automatically creates a folder in the main directory of the SD card (trezor -> device_DEVICEID) inside which there is a small 'salt' file. You can easily copy that folder to any SD card and it will work fine as long as its file system is set to FAT32.
956  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor announces Tropic Square on: May 17, 2020, 02:57:55 PM
This is not a huge vulnerability imo, as the attacker would need pyshical access and you can use a passphrase which would make it much harder to exploit. Isn't it?

I don't feel affected myself either. The probability of a physical attack is really low. Still, I think that we should keep talking about this issue in case someone missed it.

I'm not overly concerned about this particular vulnerability either, but if Trezor can do something to eliminate it I would be all in favor.

Actually, in the lastest Trezor T update, they introduced SD card protection. A randomly generated secret is stored on an SD card which along with the PIN is used to decrypt the data stored on the device. I have tried it and it works well. Without the SD card, the device is practically useless for the attacker.
957  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: May 17, 2020, 10:53:23 AM
Well, that's strange. Why would they continue to push updates to the web wallet if they're going to deprecate it and release a desktop wallet soon?

My bad, the background image probably represents what Trezor Suite (the upcoming desktop and Android/iOS app) will look like. Apparently, it's going to have some interesting features like connecting to a local instance of Bitcoin Core or to Trezor backend via Tor. I have asked them how long they are going to keep updating Trezor Wallet; waiting for a reply.
958  Local / Polski / Re: Jak otrzymywać powiadomienia o zacytowaniu wypowiedzi lub @wspomnieniu? on: May 17, 2020, 09:01:16 AM
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Sending bitcoins to a wrong address on: May 17, 2020, 07:15:16 AM
Imagine i send bitcoin to a wrong address, its still unconfirmed, how do i cancel the transaction or double spend it

You cannot cancel any transaction. Double-spending is also pointless since most nodes will reject the conflicting transaction (transaction spending the same inputs) if they already have the first transaction in their mempools. You are more likely to succeed in a few days when most nodes drop the first transaction.

If you really insist on doing that, since you are using a Blockchain wallet, you would have to import your wallet into Electrum, for example. Then you would have to follow these instructions .

Trezor Beta Wallet is now behind a login wall. The login and the password seem to be the same for everyone. They are sent after subscribing to the newsletter which covers new, experimental features. In the background of the new landing page, there is a sneak peak of upcoming visual overhaul of Trezor Wallet. You should take a look at it.

Login credentials removed upon request.
