941  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why we will see $50k Bitcoin end of year on: September 10, 2018, 07:27:50 PM
After reading this post, I look up the current price of bitcoin and without any basic knowledge of TA, I can say the chances of bitcoin hitting 50k is very minute. Anything is possible here, but we have to wait till end of the year. 112 days is a still long way.
942  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I handle crypto regret on: September 10, 2018, 07:11:48 PM
Regret! It happens a lot of time in crypto, whether you are a holder, trader or an investor. And to survive in this crypto world and come out strong each time things go other way, one must learn to face the consequences, live with the regret or let it go. The most important thing is to learn from every circumstance in this space — both good and bad.
943  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover? on: September 09, 2018, 09:49:08 PM
We all know this year is one of the worst year of crypto, market is dead and new investors are in fear to enter,  My portfolio is 75% down as compare to January. How long this market will take time to recover?. I am stucked in holding.

It was quite easy to make predictions this time last year as both the young and old had strong feelings about the growth of market. But right now, the feelings aren't the same. Neither can I say when the market will recover. My fear is that a larger percentage of these tokens/coins might not see ATH/ICO price again. And if they do, might take a very long time. Hope you are holding good coin.
944  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: September 09, 2018, 08:41:46 PM
What do you think about that?

Many countries don't even understand the idea and concept behind cryptocurrencies and the few that do feel they have no control over it. In addition, Crypto gives power and wealth to the people and governments do not for in love with whatever thing that hands power and wealth to their citizens.
945  Economy / Economics / Re: What should we focus on more? Demand or Supply? on: September 09, 2018, 06:51:55 PM
I see a lot of people that are hoarding 100% of their bitcoins, because they believe cutting off the supply, would be enough to increase the price. <mostly speculators>

Would it not be better, if we increased the demand by increasing Bitcoin awareness and convincing more merchants to offer Bitcoin payments?

A 100% hoarding strategy is more harmful, because it cancels all the good work that was done to get merchants to accept Bitcoin as a payment option. A merchant will stop accepting Bitcoin, if their is no demand or transactions being generated for their business from the Bitcoin payment side.

We should actively encourage local merchants to start accepting bitcoins and then we should start supporting them. <No matter how low the price is>

Just buy back the bitcoins that you spend and you will be fine or use money that you would not have hoarded and buy the goods or service with bitcoins. <So when the price increase, you will not have regrets that you spend those coins>

Adopt a 80% hoarding and 20% spending strategy and we will see a massive increase in Bitcoin adoption <Merchants & Bitcoin users >  Cool

I absolutely agree with your point and your strategy. However, everyone knows what works best for him/her. Meanwhile let's not forget that the supply of bitcoin is fixed. The focus should be on demand which will be drive by merchants accepting bitcoin as payment method.

947  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one do you prefer?Increase your Bitcoin or ِDollar? on: September 08, 2018, 04:09:10 PM
The actual value of a Bitcoin that everyone can relate with is measured in dollars and because of this, most people prefer increase dollar. Meanwhile, an increase in Bitcoin results in an increase in dollar on the long run. So, personally I prefer increase in Bitcoin to increase in dollar. Another edge this has over dollar increment is that I can buy more of other cryptocurrencies with my increased bitcoin.
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] KUBITX - Cryptocurrency Exchange & Trading Platform on: September 07, 2018, 07:25:05 AM
what about verification? would it be possible to trade and withdraw funds without any verification?

I do not think that will be possible.

Please note that it is NOT possible to trade and withdraw funds without any verification. You may not withdraw from the exchange until you verify your identity.

That is a very good sign for people without verification they want to withdraw funds. I hope even bounty people should also have to verify their account of withdrawing the coins?

KYC for bounty does not make sense at all.

Why not? Huh
I thought that's a standard requirement.  Huh

This is a standard procedure for investors, I don't think is needed for bounty.

KYC is not a bad idea for bounty as bounty participants will be holders as well, but it should be well spelled out in the participatory requirements right from the onset.
949  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the bull run start? on: September 06, 2018, 08:05:39 PM
When will the bull run start? Huh in 2018? i've lose a lot of money through bitcoin. because price went down. when will the bull run start and i regain my money?

At this point I don't think anybody can give a specific time as there are many determinants dictating the direction of the market. One thing is certain, the bull will surely run.
950  Economy / Economics / Re: Simply predict the future of bitcoin on: September 05, 2018, 04:03:44 PM
Predicting the future of bitcoin would have been more easier if there is only one determinant/factor involved. I'm not sure if last year predictions of this year bitcoin performance has come to pass because other factors beyond control are much more involved now than what determine movements last year. Previous year, it was more of breaking news and hard forks that decided the direction. However, we see the presence of the world governments getting involved this year. Different factors at different levels. What is certain and constant about the future of bitcoin is that there will always be bull runs, bearish market and more adoption.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you think the market is down right now? on: September 05, 2018, 03:29:52 PM
is it all that is going on with regulations?

Big whales just waiting?

People do not believe in crypto anymore?

is it trouble in some countries in ASIA with laws and regulations?

All of the above with big manipulation and short trading inclusive. However there are still a lot of crypto believers and more adoption will have a positive impact on the overall market performance.
952  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is the richest person? on: September 05, 2018, 02:36:08 PM
I have no doubt about the speculation that there are stealth billionaires that if their assets were declared, Jeff won't be in top 10. But there is no statistics to confirm that. Therefore, they are mere speculations.
953  Economy / Economics / Re: 46+ Real World Blockchain Use Cases [INFOGRAPHIC] on: September 04, 2018, 09:45:49 PM
It is nice to see blockchain technology touching different sectors and aspects of human life. More of this opens wide adoption of cryptocurrencies. Thanks for sharing
954  Economy / Economics / Re: A Dumb Question. Forgive Me For I Have Sinned. on: September 04, 2018, 09:26:37 PM
A Simple Dumb Question.

What if BITCOIN is DIGITALIZED but is being LITERALLY MINED like Gold and Silver ( MINED OVER 6 FT BELOW THE GROUND )and has a lot more value than gold, would you consider it to have an increase value over time? ; D

And If it is would you rather dig your house out of it or just stay on your sit and buy some of it ; D

This Question is Only For Dumbs Grin Let's Talk About Different Things Once For A While ; D

Edited: I think that would be more clearer now Grin

Bitcoin is digitalized but is being mined like gold doesn't add up. Well, to go with your assumption and answer this dumb question, I would consider it to have a strong value growth with time. It would be dumb of me if I don't have my house dug up once the presence of "golden bitcoin" is confirmed. Imagine one government coming the next day to lay claim of my house.
955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Zero Fee Trading? on: September 04, 2018, 08:49:59 PM
Where there is free trading, there is always a catch especially with the waves of exchange entry the space. Also, you might not have wide range of coins in such exchange coupled with low trading volume. I advise you go back to your drawing board and sketch out a profitable strategy. It might not be day trading.
956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: September 03, 2018, 09:26:02 PM
Let's say everyone decides to dump, take profit and leave — how will the market be if no one is HODLing? See it the other way round — no one trades, only to hold. They both bring check and balance to the market and both have ways of giving individual good profits depending strategy employed and simple rules of engagement.

For HODLer, hold good coins and take profit when your target is reached.
For Trader, buy low, sell high.
957  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Seriously, why would anyone want $20 Billion Dollars? on: September 03, 2018, 09:07:29 PM
A $20 Billion dollars is an ocean of money and why would anyone want such a huge amount? It is simple, because there is no end to human wants. So long as a man breathes, there is no limit to his wants, forgetting that they are insatiable.
958  Economy / Economics / Re: how to save money? on: September 02, 2018, 09:09:16 PM
here are the simple steps to save money:
1. You must record all your expenses
2. Make a budget for all expenses
3. Start planning on saving money
4. Choose something to save for your money
5. Decide on your priorities before spending
5. Make saving as a habit
6. Watch your savings grow.

any suggestion on how you save your money?

1. Before making any budget for expenses move 30% of your income/salary into your savings account and the remaining 70% can go in expenses.
8. Be discipline and stick to your budget.
959  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: September 02, 2018, 08:57:22 PM
Worldwide adoption will definitely render fiat useless, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Come to this part of the world and you will see that it will take years of intensive infrastructural development for the people to come with terms with digital age. Fiat will still be in use for a long in some countries due to this factor. Another great challenge is the governments. They will not give in easy to crypto rulership.
