What's up with KTChampions? I see that bunch of you are afraid of him. He is not in the BSFL so I don't know what's the deal with him. Does he have some super powers to see the future results or something? Smiley

first of all, welcome to La Liga pool

he won Champions league pool last season, if I am not wrong, not sure about other competitions
nevertheless, I am not afraid of him Smiley

good to know that Trofo is on vacation, I didn't send payment so far, but will have to sit one day and send for all competitions that I am joining, not easy to put all on paper, but interesting during season

It's the end of the 3rd, 9-5 advantage for Greece, today shouldn't be the day Olympus would fall, please  Roll Eyes

yeah, congrats on a point, important one, looking at another lose this round

just a hint, this is first time that Serbia lost knock-out match against Greece in any Waterpolo competition, TBH, didn't expect that to happen, but their keeper was as wall in second quarter, we have five shots in crossbar, and that was when everything was decided

there is a DOTA as well, but I am not following those, whatever happens

Fenerbah็e has very strong squad comparing teams that play in Conference League qualifiers in my opinion.

yeah, Turkwy dropped a lot on rankings, and Fenerbahce have to play this round against low level teams, so easy win over Zimbru was pretty much expected

Struga won over Buducnost, and Sabah won away match against RKS, it next round, winner from these two will play Partizan

intersting matches today, Ferencvaros is back after humiliation from Klaksvik in CL qualifications, Vojvodina plays on Cyprus against APOEL, seems as easy home win

as if I called it, two games on Women WC BTTS in a row, and one with an overturn
USA didn't win it at all, Netherlands put an early lead and took point in the end

now is a right time to have several next matches with BTTS NO on Women WC, although odds are pretty low, as an expected outcome
945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: July 26, 2023, 07:56:52 PM

waterpolo question and boxing question. If I'm not mistaken, those sports are scheduled for Sunday.

Watepolo SF is scheduled tomorrow
Serbia plays Greece at 10am, Greece is a bit of a favorite according to bookies, but it is an open game
Spain and Hungary right after that

not sure what difference you have, final is on Saturday I think
Spain should win it, their team is pretty much the best overall, but other finalist is open, IMO

Boxing should be Saturday night in US, so before we wake on Sunday in Europe

I did think that Aris would fail anyway - so let's see if we're lucky today. I'll bet on them so I'll be happy whatever happens.

TBH, I looked at all three, and sort of felt that would put any as a must pick for a bet, so went with NO
but overall, Aris is looking as lousiest pick from those three

Ludogorets is probably bigger favorite today

Dinamo won much easier than expected

@buwaytress there are now goals at WC, but it always one-sided, BTTS is not their market at all, who scores first wins, no overturn
hopefully will be better after group stage
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) 2021 on: July 26, 2023, 06:25:13 AM
Messi is having fun again, two games, three goals in League cup
they demolished Atlanta last night, he scored two goals in first 22 minutes, assist on one more and overall proved he could be enough for Miami to enter play-off in MLS, if there is enough rounds to do so, after being lousy and placed last

have to admit he is being great to watch so far in Inter Miami, didn't expect that

think that this is first round in both seasons where I have only two different answers to opponent
obviously, Harkorede is mostly thinking the same, it all boils down to Finalist in DOTA - Liquid or BetBoom, and SF in Waterpolo between Serbia and Greece

I had to go with home country in Waterpolo, but DOTA question was just a coin-flip, good luck mate

Nothing much to say about this one, as you said this was his first match of the season after bad knee injury and we all have seen how some other great players had problems to return. Zverev needed a lot of time after breaking an ankle and Thiem never properly retuned and both are way younger than Čilić.

yeah, Thiem never properly continued playing tennis after injury
I am always having DelPo on my mind when hearing about injuries, pretty sure he would have 5+ GS's if not for so many injuries, even with all three top players playing at same time

off-topic, Djokovic is on vacation in Dubrovnik, as I can see, but not giving interviewes regarding Wimbledon
950  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Sportsbet.io Sponsorship Prediction Contest!! on: July 25, 2023, 01:19:40 PM
interesting topic, didn't saw it earlier

1. while obvioua answer would be Everton, they had another bookie on their shirts, so I would go with Nottingham, as second best
AFAIK, their new kit is still without sponsor

2. would like to see Sportsbet on Fulham, black and white combination would suit it best

3. staying on black and white colors, local favorite Partizan Belgrade, but also on Valencia home orange shirts

4. Millwall is an obvious choice for all "Only Fools and Horses" fans

I think Groningen and Vitesse have a very big base of fans, can anyone confirm?

not sure about Vitesse, but Groningen has a solid fan base, maybe not that large, but passionate

AFAIK, Feyenoord and Ajax have much larger fan base compared to PSV, but that is also subjective
although fan base doesn't make a team good, some teams are full of money, no fan base and still within top each year
AZ also does not have large fan base, as far as I know, but that doesn't make them bad team

I just checked the waterpolo results and man it's though to choose the finalists. All quarterfinal games were won by one point. I think we will need more luck than knowledge to win this point.

Spain was down two goals against France, almost eliminated, but pulled through with 3 goals in three minutes, without conceiving (really hard to do in Waterpolo9
yeah, both semi-finals will be tough to choose

but it is good to see different sports here, some you like, some don't, but overall found out something new

Trofo I have the same tactic but that is my Superbru criticism from the very beginning. Pointless not to choose the strong favourite, as an upset of 100/1 or of 3/1 gives the same points. I have no strategy other than to guess who enters top 10 as those finishers gives points. Time to cut off Ocon and Gasly?

basically, Superbru is favoring picking favorites in all sports, not just F1, because of point system
it is not easy to pick a surprise and reward for that is really low

and of course all pick Verstappen for win, pole, fastest lap, because it is usually correct answer (although lap and pole have gone to others from time to time, but guessing who is usually hard)

who would said that Hamilton will win pole in Hungary and after that finished fourth, lousy performance in the end

Did not watch water polo for a long time but I know a lot about the sport from before, even played it (not professionally) sometimes during the summer

Serbia just kicked Italy on penalties, which gaves me a headache who to put for final, it was far from expected to see us in semi-finals
but yeah, Waterpolo is pretty familiar comparing to fighting sports as Boxing and MMA

in DOTA, hopefully there is Gaimin again to put them

but CL qualification questions are also a grey terittory, looking forward to new football season starts

tough round, with a lot of other sports questions, which I don't have anything against, but now we have some boxing and DOTA, that I am not following almost at all

and to add to that, playing Harkorede, so can't be tougher
but, have to try my best, after last week loss

European cups qualifications started, and my team is good for one more round, having to wait for duel between RFS and Sabah from Azerbeijan, should be passable
957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: July 23, 2023, 06:44:47 PM
Brian Harman won it with 13 below par, it looked as he will be able to put more with two Birdie in a row, but he had a big advantage and didn't had to push

Vingegaard won second TdF in a row, congrats to him, being much better on individual stage was again a decider (although Pogacar fell ones and make it easier)

interesting F1, but another win for Max

off to next round, this loss is forgotten

We will probably be without a sponsor this year (although it's not clear yet) so I'm here to ask how much would it be normal for you to pay for the entry fee?

Can we stick to last year's rate? (2mBTC)

not sure, but I will be there probably as well
last year rate seems reasonable

it is not about sponsors, it takes solid amount of time to compete, and I gave up after 30 or so rounds last season (first season was after 10 rounds, so much better)
hope to see better season this year, but having already several pools, it will be tough to manage, seems that will have to decide Bundesliga or FPL to miss out (and in the end participate in both)

what a qualification round
Hamilton taking a pole in front of Max, with a distance so small that it hardly can be counted and McLaren driver in second raw

didn't know that, but this is actually 9 pole position for Hamilton at Hungaroring, great stuff, hopefully he can bring best tomorrow and cut Max's strike this season

In the half time it's 0-0 in Denmark vs. China game. Im leading by one point but due to Vingegaard's big lead, this game will probably decide the winner (or a draw in case of a draw or China winning).

late winner for Denmark, congrats on winning this round
knew that it will be hard to win another after winning 8:2 last round, cursed few next rounds with big win Sad
always better to win with a small margin

seems that Vingegaard will win with more than 1:30 (way more, last stage is usually just promotion stage), but other xxxxgaard lady goal for Denmark equalize that in our duel
