Yo motherfuckers. I robbed a bank. Looking to sell the shit I stole. Come at me bro.

am I doing something wrong? How come I don't see POT coin in the drop down list on coin-swap when I try to create a trade? Also don't see it in the list of currencies on the homepage?

Have 1.0 btc and want to purchase 600k doge.
Please do not waste my time or beat around the bush if you have it. I have the btc on hand, and transaction will be done securely by the most trusted escrow member on this forum.
Please pm me if you are ready to sell and get this done.

What's your best amount of doge for 1.0btc?
Am fielding offers from others, so figured I'd see what you can do.
Due to you having no trust feedback yet, I'd require you either go first or we use a trusted escrow.

I've been perusing around a few threads, and I guess the consensus is to avoid mtgox like the plague. Fair enough.
But which of the remaining exchanges (for day trading) would be the best, all things considered?
Mind you, I'm not going to be depositing money from my bank (as I purchase all my btc through coinbase), and will be only depositing btc directly. But I'm more concerned about the withdrawl times and overall dependability.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

As title states, want to buy as much doge as possible for 1btc.
Low or no feedback individuals must go first. Else, am open for escrow.
Let me know what you have and at what price.

Whoah, that's crazy.
Doesn't this essentially negate all the benefits of what bitcoins and alt currencies were created for? If you have to prove/substantiate the origins of all of your bitcoins, then why even have them in the first place?
It's not like you walk into a dealership with a briefcase full of legit 1000 dollar bills to purchase a ferrari cash, and the dealership asks for record receipts of how you earned the money.
While I'm all for anti-fraud measures, this does seem quite extreme. It's almost as though they're acting like the IRS and interrogating, which should not be the case if you are already fully verified with them and have been doing good business for some time.
I'm starting to think a lot of these companies are simply implementing 'additional security measures' not for the security, but to hold funds for an additional amount of time.
Thanks for the headsup though, looks like I'll be staying with coinbase.

Nothing but glowing reviews on my end. My one and ONLY hiccup I experienced was a single btc transfer request that took around 3 hours (though customer support was quick to reply and assure me it was just a random, unexpected delay from high volume of requests). The rest of my transfers and purchases have been virtually instant.
Still have another week to go before my 30 day trial is over, which is very exciting as I've been dying to find a reliable method to buy and sell btc without headache. My first non-instant purchase for over 1btc should be approved by tomorrow, so I'll keep this thread updated with how that goes.
Loving it so far though!

It shouldn't be too difficult to track him down now, considering you have his name and a bunch of his profiles. A bit more research and a quick bounty to people in Europe and his life will soon be a living hell.
But a note to all those who may potentially look into it: DO NOT PAY WITH PAYPAL EITHER VIA GOODS OR GIFT if you're purchasing on anything but Ebay. Best case scenario is you will never get anything, and you will have to file a chargeback claim and wait almost a month for your money back.
Worst case scenario is paypal will side against you.
DO NOT USE PAYPAL EITHER AS BUYER OR SELLER!!!!!

I'd be more interested in a 99% silver coin. I know that would probably require quite a bit more start up capitol, simply based on materials used and perhaps the forging process? (not quite familiar with it all). But having a nice, silver piece just like an american eagle that has not only the bitcoin value but intrinsic metal value would be epic. I think whoever pioneers this segment of the market first will make a killing if altcoins continue their march towards being mainstream.

I know, I did too, They tried pulling that shit on me, and I responded with my lawyers contact info, I had 1 BTC in there that they weren't going to release, I was bout ready to sue them, along with PayPal. They responded and said it was their mistake, Limit has been lifted. Damn, interesting. That is some REALLY shady stuff they are pulling off. By the way, both of my transactions weren't funded through paypal either. It was through my bank debit card. So them 'stating' 2 days already after the charges had cleared my account, that my transactions were 'high risk' only after I initiated a withdrawl, is laughable. Actually, it's more like a joke. But whatever...coinbase's rates are WAY better, it's just a matter of me having to wait another week and a half for my trial limits to be raised : /

Broken BTC withdrawals from Gox are piling up bigtime as we speak. There are nearly 200 broken transactions -- totaling almost 4000 BTC -- and some have been waiting more than four days!! Most are stuck due to outpoints already spent. Data is here: http://skanner.net/MtGox/mtgox_tx.phpAnd yes, 25% of my own BTC are currently stuck (26 hours and counting). There has been zero official acknowledgment of the issue, and they're not even responding to support tickets related to this situation. The only contact anyone has made with them is with their IRC consultants who don't know a damn thing. The IRC support stated that they think "it is being caused by a bug or attack of some sort," but they haven't provided any additional information at all. This is getting serious... VERY serious. Ouch. I just had a terrible experience with virwox...hope you all get your btc in an expedient manner! One of the few pitfalls of no regulation in the bitcoin trading market.

I'll try and keep this as short and concise as possible. I know perhaps my personal experience may not be indicative of the whole, but it has still left quite a sour taste in my mouth.
Signed up for a virwox account last week, after exploring my options. Already had a coinbase account, but it's still under the 30 day trial phase so I can't purchase more than a tiny amount instantly at a time.
All went fine, and I funded 2 maximum transactions to purchase SLL (or whatever it's called) through my bank's visa debit card (with more than adequate funds available).
That was around 3 days ago. The next day, I decided to convert my SLL to btc at their accepted market rates so it would appear instantly in my account. All good...0.22 btc.
Later that afternoon, I found that I could not even load the virwox homepage. Kept on timing out...502 bad gateway...repeat...repeat. Finally gave up, as it seems their server was completely fucked. That's gotta be a great selling point for dealing with digital currency markets that can suffer huge market swings in the course of even an hour, right? ......
Finally was able to log in (albeit after several refreshes) and access my account about 8 hours later. Promptly went and submitted my first withdrawl request for the btc directly to my wallet. Okay...seems promising.
Their website stated that it would be subject to manual review, since this was my first withdrawl from their service. I'm totally cool with that, as I'd never have anything to hide.
Fast forward to yesterday morning. I try to log in, and suddenly am greeted by a red 'your account has been disabled' message. What. The. Eff?
I thought perhaps it was just a glitch, or that I had entered the incorrect password. Try 5 more times, each time the same message.
Check both my email inbox and spam folders and not a single message from virwox stating an impending account lock.
Soooooooo....after fishing around their site, I finally locate their customer service email. Wrote them a not-so-friendly message asking why the hell I'm locked out of my account while they have my hard earned money.
A few hours later was greeted by this totally awesome message:
Hello,
unfortunately we have received high risk indications for your account from our credit card processor (Skrill). We have therefore refunded your payment and closed the account.
It can take up to 7 days until you see the refund back on the card or bank account.
Greetings,
VirWoX Support
No apologies. No details outlining what prompted or constituted a 'high risk indiciation'...nothing. I've used this same credit union for over 10 years now, without issue.
Needless to say, they better refund my money asap, or I'm going to get ugly with them. This may have ended up being a blessing in disguise, however...as virwox's transaction fees are absolutely laughable.
End rant. Hopefully anyone else deciding to use them has better luck than me. But definitely user beware.

I agree. With the anonymity of bitcoins and alt currencies also comes a great pitfall: fraud and security.
Unlike with credit card transactions, one simply cannot go back and 'dispute' a btc transaction, be it from fraud or being hacked either on the individual or server side.
There is still an overwhelming risk when dealing with digital currencies right now, which I think will prevent them from fully going mainstream and being a 'legitimate' threat to credit card or fiat payments.
You have to remember...with fiat...there is always the risk of having your money stolen. But there is also not the risk that your money will vanish out of thin air from a hard drive crash or an exchange or mining pool packing up with your money. Banks are still backed and insured...digital currencies are not.
(p.s.: I've been scammed on this forum twice. And no longer will I subject myself to being scammed again. Even if it's for an $8 transaction, always go the extra mile to ensure you're dealing with someone legit, and make them go first if they don't have trusted feedback.

No probs bud. Sorry to hear you got taken as well, but just glad we didn't get taken for a larger amount. He originally wanted me to send half (.2) up front. Hilarious. But it looks like they made a good 3x dollars off us with under an hours worth of work. I fully expect them to be back (or might already be on here) with an alternate screenname trying to milk others. Unfortunately this place is a breeding grounds for slimy scammers. : (

Flip, Should have taken your post as a warning, but this seller appears to be a scammer. Can't believe it was done for $8! Why ruin your rep? Thanks, YC Buyer beware. Zero feedback and wanted me to send at least half the btc balance first.
No way Jose..been there done that!
I see you were the one who got taken for 0.01 btc? Man...amazing what these scammers are willing to do for peanuts. Absolutely amazing. In any case, this is 'her' (most likely just a him who uses a female screenname to gain trust) btc address: 1QZTjK3TKrj7baRLVGe2VvjCjCs3dwMPE Already transferred out the funds to an alternate account which is probably where all his scam funds are. Not too optimistic on this one, even if it's only been one day, they pretty much cut off all communication after they got the btc. NEVER, EVER SEND FIRST TO A MEMBER WITH NO FEEDBACK...YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOUR GOODS!!! I'll be sure to go back and edit if they make good on this, but at this point it doesn't look good.
