941  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Poor network reception is contributory to failed transactions. on: March 12, 2023, 08:40:45 PM
How far guys how una Dey, I no understand the levels the country they head to anymore. First them been talk say the cash less issues, na to better the country economy and on the side prevent election corruption.

The presidential election is over, no be only just that The Supreme Court has ordered the use of the old note until December 31st but yet the presidency hasn’t said anything yet now coupled with network and transactions problems.
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which cryptocurrency do you prefer the most to accept payments in? on: March 12, 2023, 08:33:14 PM
If it was a generalized cryptocurrency question then I would always choose to have my payment in Bitcoin and definitely if bitcoin wasn’t in the option I would then prefer stable coins.

If this question was only meant for Altcoin alone then I have no other choice than to go with Ethereum. I am a type of investor that tries to minimize my risk that why I go for the best option rather than gamble.
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: he/they roasted us? on: March 12, 2023, 07:18:42 PM
To be honest the facts are there that place bitcoin as supreme so it’s not wrong or bragging to claim bitcoin to be supreme is just only stating the obvious fact.

Bitcoin is the only coin I can hold now and have more than average assurance that its won’t go worthless, there are good altcoins like Ethereum but the adoption and real usage level of bitcoin can not be compared to any altcoin.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 12, 2023, 07:13:24 PM
And again the Gunners showed their class today. It was really an easy win for Arteta’s men no disrespect to the team they faced, but Arsenal are slowly edging to the English Premier League title.

Although the league is still open and Manchester City are creeping in slowly in second place, arsenal would have to take it one win at a time and this would help them put their destiny in their hands.
945  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 2023 Gubernatorial Elections Discussion Thread {Focus on Lagos & Rivers States} on: March 11, 2023, 08:36:16 PM
From wetin me observe for this whole matter, na the court case of Peter Obi/Atiku and INEC concerning the inspection of ONEC sensitive materials and BIVAS reconfiguration be the main reason for the postponement.
Now concerning Rivers and Lagos gubernatorial election, I dey see big fight for those two states. First be say, the status quo may change in Lagos but Rivers State is too hard to predict. Make we see as e go be sha.... but make every omah stay safe.

This could be true and also it may not be, as we all know the court has agreed that INEC can go on to reconfigure their system provided the back up the history of the concluded presidential election and ensure it’s not tempered with.

We know by now the electoral system isn’t genuine and that other isn’t as easy as it sounds I believe the gubernatorial elections was postponed to by inec time to come up with something to cover their tracks.
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone saw the New Bitcoin Advertisement? on: March 11, 2023, 08:24:53 PM
It’s not just an advert for bitcoin rather it’s an advert that highlights some of the major flaws of the traditional financial system that we had to deal with on an almost everyday level.

The video was point black direct and correct about their illustrations, the banking system is a legal violation of human rights from their delays and their unwarranted charges, crypto-currency is changing all that.
947  Economy / Economics / Re: With the present economic outlook, do you think that this is good advise? on: March 11, 2023, 07:49:10 PM
I also think there is are some points you can take home from that advice mate. Come to think of it check how many small business owner you know especially those who owns a small daily needs store and calculate how many years you know them, they actually don’t do big things and are more of the time having what they can use to feed and settle other necessary bills.

To do big you ought to aspire for more and learning is one way to do so. I think it’s more like investing in yourself and never settle for less. But also there are those with big mind set that started from small investment and still made it.
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 11, 2023, 06:41:23 PM
The premier league is actually very uncertain and unpredictable, Liverpool shocked the world last week by embarrassing Manchester United by defeating them 7:0

Fast forward till today and they lost to the 20th team in the league in the person of Bournemouth. Liverpool has shown striking inconsistencies in their game and this seems to have no end I fear where they would end up this season.
949  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Tinubu's plan for Blockchain and eNaira is appealing despite lacking details. on: March 10, 2023, 08:48:26 PM
How you go take serious a man who all he did to become president was to rig the election. We have seen government promises on lots of things and they never came through on it. We have had a fail economy in the country and I am sorry to say if the president elect still remains there after court proceedings then there is no hope.

Literally all that would be done is fake promises like this they would never materialized so make we all tell ourselves the truth the country needs a change.
950  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I Add This To My Business Grant Application? on: March 10, 2023, 08:26:20 PM
You aren’t the one to determine how your grant should be paid in, it would put you out as rude if you try doing that. Yes we love Bitcoin but we still in a world were Fiat is predominately used.

I think you can get the grant in what ever system they want to use and once the funds are at your disposal than you can act and convert it to bitcoin it’s up to you then.
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 10, 2023, 07:40:26 PM
It’s not going to be easy for Tottenham to win any trophy with the way the play and their mentality, they are not a big team minded team and this shows in their system of play.

The best they can get and can be getting is top four and harry Kane has to come to terms with that reality. And if he is not satisfied with that then he can leave the team.
952  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 10, 2023, 06:51:07 PM
With the situation with the dishonesty and greed of FTX and also the fall of Luna that caused many to go flat broke and even some had to commit suicide this and more happening in crypto-currency has lead to many loosing trust in crypto-currency .

Although I would say it has not made the more experience users of crypto-currency to lose trust but rather it has emphasized the need for every one to go back to their study books and focus on ways to stay safe in the crypto-currency space.
953  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I succeed as newbie. on: March 09, 2023, 07:47:13 PM
Firstly read all pinned post in your board of interest that’s a good way to start. And depending on your knowledge of crypto-currency you had before joining I Think making post should be less for you and only when you have some questions answered but always first research on it.

And other things you need to do is follow the rules of the forum, if you had thought the forum as quick riches forum debunk those thoughts and work for your development.
954  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can old people use bitcoin? on: March 08, 2023, 08:47:04 PM
Old people aren’t dumb people obviously so why not they can use bitcoin. There are some old people already in crypto-currency and they are doing very well without any issues.

I have tried to teach one on how Bitcoin was and the process wasn’t relatively difficult because some old people are better listeners the problem now with the teaching the elderly would have to be their stubbornness to change or move away from the traditional form of transactions and also believe and speculations can be a hinderance.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 08, 2023, 07:22:16 PM
The UEFA Champions league is on today again and we have some amazing encounters but the biggest is Paris saint German and Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich defeated PSG in the first leg I must say it’s largely due to sloppy play form Paris saint German but I think the game is not yet won and lost and PSG can still turn the game around.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 07, 2023, 09:03:46 PM
Is it just me or is anyone noticing Chelsea fans as kind of lost faith in the team. It’s unbelievable how the away team fans has more presence in their match.

Chelsea faces Dortmund and the away team got Stamford bridge looking like Germany. I don’t see Dortmund losing this match so Chelsea beat result would be a draw.
957  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Old naira note remain valid till Dec 31 2023 by supreme court. on: March 05, 2023, 08:53:24 PM
When I been first here about the supreme court’s judgement say make them return the use of the old naira note up till 31st of December this year, I was really glad because the situation of no availability of cash has really been a disaster.

But my fear here is that the country has shown no respect for the supreme court’s decision on different occasions and I am thinking they may also do so this time around.
958  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Before you buy your first bitcoin take note on: March 05, 2023, 08:39:23 PM
Don’t waste to much time when you have made up your mind to buy some bitcoin delay may favor you and also not favor you. I believe the risk is much on the Altcoin side of things.

Although the simple steps you need to follow before buying bitcoin. First you should know is where you buying your bitcoin form, you either buy it from an exchange or you can get it via peer to peer either ways you must always try to be safe. Also where you save your bitcoin matter, basically you are at risk saving it on an exchange so get a trusted personal wallet.
959  Economy / Economics / Re: My survival strategies in this harsh economic conditions on: March 05, 2023, 07:50:11 PM
Great advice especially on the bulk buying aspect, many people may consider it unnecessary and even wasteful but buying in bulk actually do help in bad economy season.

I remember when I stalked up some bags of rice in my country at a very good price although I wasn’t anticipating any fall in my nations economy it actually did happen and not only did the stalked up rice see me through that situation I actually earn double the amount I bought one by selling off some.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 05, 2023, 06:36:13 PM
Manchester United has had a great run they have forgotten how a the taste of a loss is but today Liverpool are bringing them back to earth and in the most imposing fashion of all time.

Manchester United has had there hopes up and their game tight winning back to back across England and even Europe but now I believe if they had any hope on the English premier league it has been bashed by Liverpool.
