i really believe that satoshi nakamoto is a member on this forum and may be his rank is legendary or hero the reason is that he has been a member here to watch about the condition of bitcoin from 2009 untill now...he also watch how cloud mining rises and then some of them disappear with customers money he always watch everything about what happen in bitcoin world

Satoshi is on this forum, he is that guy 'falllllllling'.  Sold all his bitcoins and has been trying to buy back since 2010 @ $1 Kiss

I would assume Satoshi still visits but isnt that active these days like many of the super early adopters it makes sense to put your money and time to use elsewhere.
942  Economy / Gambling / Re: The PrimeDice Rakeback Program! on: July 04, 2015, 05:34:21 PM
I understand the idea but I doubt someone who can afford to bet 10 BTC will be happy with 0.009 BTC referral commission.

The wagering does soon add up if you bet a lot on dice and its free money really, but yeah i still think its hard to attract sign ups due to most people are looking to gamble on dice.  Rakeback in poker seems to be popular due to being able to break even/win long term in poker.

If you play on dice a lot though you might aswell sign up for rakeback, its a no brainer.
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion about Wimbledon 2015 on: July 04, 2015, 05:29:37 PM
J. Jankovic is a great outside bet imo, former #1, shes currently in a 3rd set vs Kvitova and was looking good 15 minutes ago until my stream cut.

Yeah she lost [3-6 7-5 6-4  ]Sad That was so unlikely, the way she was playing I was confident she would win in straight sets, I also placed some bits on her to win 2-0. Disappointed.

lol thats a bad bet unfortunately.  Jankovic played a blinder i watched almost all the game. Considering Jankovic isnt even that good on grass it might be a good bet to bet against her next game as she will be over valued.
944  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in poker players with bitcoin? on: July 04, 2015, 05:13:33 PM
You could do this by talking to poker players or maybe checking a poker site that has player stats and look for the best player then talk to him privately and maybe he would want to take your investment but if the player is really good then he probably wont need your investment and it would be risky for you.

In the fiat world people will use sites like pokertableratings.com and sites like sharkscope.  If you want staking for bitcoin sites you could give your screen names at other sites.  Probably check out twoplustwo would be a good idea for staking also.

Japan can win againts germany is because lucky. I think japan can beat usa in finale match because need more big lucky for sure japan can beat usa like when they beat germany

Japan look dead on their feet, if they win it then it will be 1-0 and by some luck.  USA will powerhouse them off the pitch like england.

But hey.... i want japan to win i just think its a bad bet.

You can take a look at WWC 2011 final between USA vs Japan too, which Japan got big lucky and won by penalty shootout. I think Japan can do it again as an underdog team.

They win this game about 1 in 10 times or at best 2 in 10 times over 90 minutes i reckon.  Maybe if they can take the US into penalties they would have their best chance.  Defo think the value bet is with USA.

I tried this for a while with higher rates infact but its very hard to get sign ups no matter what the rates you offer, i've actually got more sign ups from just sticking a link on dice youtube vids i made.  Anyhow, good luck!

This would be a neat service, but I don't think it is out there yet.

Investors need to find players with an edge, staking in poker is big business you wont get people staking for large amounts if you have a small sample size.  Most winning poker players would probably be asked to play at fiat sites unless they can get better results in bitcoin poker sites.

There are quite a few options out there to do so with fiat money, portals which list players, rank them, and you can fund their game.

I wonder if you can already do the same thing with bitcoin?

The only thing is you need to make sure they are who they say they are if using bitcoin to stake.  With fiat transfers you can often get more details about a person if a deal backfires.  I dont see why bitcoin cant be used to stake though its just another payment method.  It would work good for micro staking.
950  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ok... What is the easieast way for a total newbie to buy some BTC? on: July 04, 2015, 09:46:49 AM
As the title says.  What if a newbie asks you what is the easiest way to buy BTC, what would you suggest?

I would suggest a newbie to buy bitcoin from localbitcoin, and if the newbie is an American resident coinbase would be better option...

I've just had a total newbie ask my friend to ask me how to buy bitcoin to get started in the UK.  I didnt suggest localbitcoins because it would require them meeting someone in a coffee shop or something.

Instead i suggested coinbase..... i dont know if that is a good suggestion for UK as i've not tried them myself but if i were going to use an exchange right now i would use them since they are insured by the NYSE.

I'm sure Japan can win it again, but not in regular time, since USA is one of best team in woman football world. Actually USA have a chance to avenge their defeat in final 2011, but Japan have great spirit to prove us that they are a new power in woman football.

Japan look dead on their feet, if they win it then it will be 1-0 and by some luck.  USA will powerhouse them off the pitch like england.

But hey.... i want japan to win i just think its a bad bet.

Wish I hadn't mentioned that if he went to court in Nassau County to testify he might end up in county jail negotiating for toilet paper from the other prisoners.

Do you know where Mark Karpeles is right now? It looks like he's still active in Twitter.

Last i heard he was still in japan, i think he might have to stay in the country by law atm? Isnt that why he couldnt leave with his family?
954  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have a +EV method for a dice site,[CONFIRMED +EV is possible] on: July 03, 2015, 06:14:34 PM
Im confused by this thread, ofcourse i would pay to know a +ev betting strategy on something as simple as dice but i dont see how this is possible and it doesnt make sense to sell it even it it were.  You have endless money anyway.

you wouldn't be confused if you read last few pages... anyway the story has reached its climax, it was fun!  Grin

Ok well i punched some of those numbers into primedice and i cant find any edge so far, i guess its with a different site or i need to use API access or something.
955  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why Do You Play Poker By Yourself? on: July 03, 2015, 06:00:34 PM
Well, at least we have some stable playerbase at swc, or betcoin

well we still don't know if those are really controlled by humans  Shocked

I've noticed that there are some users have been playing for straight hrs but i maybe just being assumptious about it.

yes, we can't just say that a player who plays long hours is a bot. personally, 6hrs straight is standard, i can go for 12hrs non stop.

I've done 20k+ hands in 1 sitting on pokerstars 24 tabling, thinking it was about 18 hours straight more or less.  I needed to clear a VIP bonus thingy before the next day you see.  Glad i dont do that kinda thing anymore, not worth the stress.
956  Economy / Gambling / Re: Womens World Cup, Who will win? on: July 03, 2015, 05:56:32 PM
im going to say that with the experienve that japan has winning the world cup they can pull it off once again but with football u can never tell Sad like with england

Wow i just finished watching both semi finals, i cant believe how good england played they totally owned japan and got very unlucky.  Japan looked tired and out of ideas 2nd half.

Based on this USA will win this world cup easy, japan looks weak against any side with power.  Man im gutted about england.

960  Economy / Gambling / Re: Paddy Power Bitcoin Betting? on: July 03, 2015, 10:38:10 AM
Just stumbled across this section in Paddy Power, it is under the current affairs section.  I wonder what they are looking to do, perhaps betting on UK regulation or do you think it will be taking bets on the Bitcoin price?

http://www.paddypower.com/bet/novelty-betting/current-affairs/bitcoin-betting

Yeah looks like betting on the price or anything else bitcoin, perhaps regulations.  Would be nice for one of the bigger UK gambling companies to accept bitcoin, would love to see betfair on it myself.
