Why did just-dice shut down in the first place?

Because of the some regulations ion canada. But I think, they are being relaxed right now, and the income can provide dooglus the ability to love outside canada. But in the end its his decision if he wants to come back. I really hope he does.

Its disappointing to see this site end as another scam. Maybe people should realize not to trust their money with any anonymous person.
946  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: October 10, 2014, 01:40:03 AM
It is a bad news that you are going to be selling the website. Is the site going to continue running till the time you sell it?
and How much are you selling it for?
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coin charity fund idea on: October 09, 2014, 07:16:50 PM
This does not seem like a useful idea. And I doubt people want to donate more coins after a scam happens, as that won't fix anything.

Howdy Smiley,

I am selling Dropbox.com plans for 25% off the original price, as it follows:

I think you meant 25% of the price. Isn't dropbox pro per month for 10$?

Just saw a 25,638x. it was crazy. What is the highest multiplier it can go to?

Can you tell us what is new in the coin. The timeline is too general, with no new features.

The first goal is to get the coin stable and with regular services , the innovation comes after

you will disappear after one month .lol

One month is too late. Probably the next day after the IPO.

Is there a verifier available for the site? I know they provide the code they use and all, but its hard for a non technical person to use the code only to verify. Is there a verifier, that allows me to plug in the seed info and see the rolls?
Appreciate any help.

This is a great solution.  I wished dooglus was cosigning DB's funds as well. Would have saved a lot of people from losing money.

I'm not so sure about that last part. With the way DB were manipulating bets I think they would have been able to hurt a lot of players and investors even if the cold wallet was co-signed.

If it was cosigned, JoeMattie would have been paid out. And DB wouldn't have able to just move the funds to where ever they wanted.
And to BayAreaCoin, I know dooglus isn't cosigning. I just mean, if dooglus had cosigned DB's funds, then it would have been good.

I think it's more important to prove solvency than to placate coinbase, but would rather hear from someone "in charge" what's going on.

How about this as a compromise?

* Site owners send me a list of "cold wallet" addresses, along with a series of signed messages, one per address, saying "dice.ninja cold storage address".

* I verify the balance, round it down to the next multiple of 100 to prevent anyone determining the addresses, and publish the balance.

* Then if you trust me, you can trust that the coins are still controlled by dice.ninja without government spies or their agents being able to track the coins.

That seems to solve both problems (proof of solvency, coinbase snooping) and adds just one problem, that you need to trust me not to lie.

This is a great solution.  I wished dooglus was cosigning DB's funds as well. Would have saved a lot of people from losing money.
954  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any good\big sites that accept investments ? on: October 08, 2014, 11:49:31 AM
Invested 0.1 BTC for tests. We'll see result after week Smiley

btw why this dice site so popular ? design is not pretty as for me and has a lags and problems with layout ... IMHO

Currently, there are only 2  big dice sites which offer investments. dince.ninja and PRC. The owner of PRC is not a good person, so I wouldn't trust him with my money. I can't say anything about dice.ninja, but it has always been a good site and good owners. Just-Dice was another big good site in the past, but they shutdown couple of months back.

Check out dice.ninja . Its a great Dice site with Plinko as well.
how much is the weekly profit for 1 BTC investment?

It depends what percentage of the bankroll you are. After doing that, the amount you win/lose will be based on site's profit and loss. The site just had incredible action in the past 1 hr and won around 250 BTC for investors . If you had invested 1BTC, you would have been up by around 0.17 BTC in the last 1 hr.
957  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 08, 2014, 10:08:46 AM

you guys should have invested if you havnt yet

dice.ninja has broke its cherry

That turned out rather good for the investors. Finally the site is positive, after AK taking it negative. Has dmf been around lately? Haven't seen him in the past 3-4 days.
958  Economy / Gambling / Re: dice.ninja - Now with Plinko! on: October 08, 2014, 09:53:07 AM
Seems he won it back and the site lost 150 btc more. He is still betting, lets see how this ends.

More weird thing is how he managed to go from -200 to +500 . Smiley
Its gambling u are supposed to lose eventually ...

He should have stopped when he was up 500. Thats the best thing to do in gambling.
