I really concerned from the last changes oof ledger and their narratives about they can get your private key , in addition to they always update software because of their shitcoins ,I finally moved my fund from ledger wallet to software cold wallet and learned how to deal with cold wallet and transfer transactions partial signing online and then signing offline and broadcast it 😏 , and learned some coin control and going to learn some privacy coinjoin , it work so great , why they don't tell us about cold wallet from begining instead of wasting our money on a fucking signing device ,really I enjoyed the experiment and fuck you ledger ,🖕,, and I want to thank you Gus because you helped me so match
Nice to know that you have learned many things about cold wallet. But I am unsure if you are talking about Electrum or not. Or how Electrum is related in your post. Because you have created this thread in the Electrum wallet section. Many have a bad impression of Ledger since the last changes. But it's not mandatory anyway. Still, it questions the legitimacy of their honesty and how concerned they are about users' security. I don't know if they think it's a smart move from them or a dumb move from them. I don't know many things about wallets yet. But since I learned about Electrum, I have been using it and I am satisfied with it. I had a plan to buy a hardware wallet but unfortunately, I am unable to buy from my location and they do not deliver to my country as well. |

Hi there. Recently I decided to move to the Linux operating system due to security reasons and I was excited about it. I never used the Linux operating system before so I do not have any experience. I was trying to install Electrum's latest version on my Operating system which is Debian 12. The problem is, that whenever I write a command in my terminal, it always installs a backdated version of Electrum in my system. The command I am using is sudo apt install electrum I also tried to upgrade my package by applying this command sudo -H pip3 install --upgrade https://download.electrum.org/4.4.6/Electrum-4.4.6.tar.gz#egg=electrum[fast] and unfortunately, I get this error: error: externally-managed-environment

If it's their own hard-earned money, usually, people do not spend their hard-earned money on something that is useless. If the money is from some sugar mommy and from sugar daddy, then people love to spend others' money. It happens in the family as well. When men earn money, their wives love to spend that money by shopping, eating outside, and doing various activities. আমাদের প্রধান সমস্যা গুলোর মধ্যে একটা হলো অন্য কে অতিরিক্ত ফলো করা। আমরা ভালো কিছু ফলো করি না। আমরা শুধু চেক করি অই লোক টা মেরিট পেলো কোন পোস্ট থেকে? কিভাবে পেলো? কি করে পেলো? এই ফলো করার রেজাল্ট অনেক ভয়াবহ। একজন একটা কাজ করে মেরিট পেয়েছে বলে যে আপনি করলে আপনি পাবেন, ব্যাপার টা সেরকম না। প্রায় অনেকদিন আগে একটা থ্রেড দেখলাম পোস্ট করলেই সেই থ্রেড এর ক্রিয়েটর ১০ টা করে মেরিট দিচ্ছে। তো বাংলাদেশের অনেক মানুষ সেখানে পোস্ট করেছে এবং অনেকে মেরিট ও পেয়েছে। কয়েক সপ্তাহ আগে দেখলাম সেটা নিয়ে গ্লোবালে থ্রেড ওপেন করে একজন বলছে যে এই একাউন্ট গুলো এক জনের। নইলে সবাই মিলে এই থ্রেড এ পোস্ট করলো কেনো আর সবাইকে থ্রেড ক্রিয়েটর মেরিট দিলো কেনো? সব সময় ফলো করা ভালো রেজাল্ট নিয়ে আসে না। মাঝে মাঝে খারাপ রেজাল্ট ও নিয়ে আসে। সুতরাং, মেরিট দেখলেই ঝাপিয়ে পড়ার দরকার নাই।

The problem for Reddit users is we don't know if they have any reputation or not. I do not understand the reputation system of Reddit. Bitcoin price will increase over the time. A lot of people don't know about bitcoin and they will heard about it a lot later than you. So, you should be glad that you already heard about Bitcoin.

The Op has not earned any merit before, aside from the extra one that was gotten from his local board. During the merit system, maybe a few (s) merits were airdropped to him; I don't know how many, but based on the merit record, the OP has only sent out four merits twice to a user, which I believe can't be his alt. Maybe a lack of merit won't allow his cheating scheme to go that way. As far as I know, old members received airdropped merits according to their rank and activity. So, Full members received 100 airdropped merits to get their rank, Sr 250, hero 500, and Legendaries 1000. There are a lot of inactive accounts that have not earned a single merit other than the air-dropped merits. So, when I see high-rank accounts without earning a single or very little amount of merits, I tend to think those are sold accounts. The account changed hands. The account owner does not even know if they have a high-ranked Bitcointalk account because of their previous activity. So, if you see a Legendary member with zero earned merits, it means they did not earn it with their knowledge. |

I am afraid of this malware. The problem is we don't know when these malware affect our machines until we notice the changes of address. Most of us do not double-check the address before we send the crypto to the destination. I wonder how this malware enters the system. Do these malware get downloaded with other programs? Let's say I did not download any program or file in the last couple of months, do I still have the possibility to get affected? Can those malware get into my machine just by visiting some random links? If this malware cannot get into a PC without downloading any program, then it's a relief. Otherwise, it's a big threat as we always click random links.

Back to the topic, it's not true that you can get tons of merits from gambling threads. Gambling boards are the haven of spammers and merit sources rarely visit those boards. No matter how constructive your post is, it will be buried in a lot of spam. If you have good writing skills, try to be active in the beginner and help section, technical discussion, project development, meta, and reputation. Even if you do not earn a lot of merits, you will learn many things from these boards which will help you to earn merits in the future. |
