941  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next? on: November 15, 2019, 07:22:17 PM

There is so much risk for whales these days since people are already expecting its bullrun due to halving. If that is the case then they are set to disappoint those who are buying because the whales are always going top prefer to buy cheap BTC than how it had last 2017. Prices I guess are going to be dragged to the bottom for more people to come into crypto space.
942  Economy / Exchanges / Re: high bitcoin fee on: November 15, 2019, 06:54:43 PM

This is the reason why XRP is being used by some just to withdraw funds outside and then to their banks because its cheaper it doesn't even cost $1. I guess you can say withdrawing BTC going to your personal wallet for long term holding has a price to pay.

As much as I hate suggesting leaving your coins on an exchange for any length of time, if you are only going to be buying 5 bucks worth of BTC at a time, then withdrawing every 5 bucks separately is going to cost way too much in exchange fees. You'd be better off leaving your coins on the exchange until you have $30 or more and then withdrawing all at once. Another option would be to save your fiat up until you have $30 and then buy the BTC all at once. Either of these options will also prevent you from having a wallet filled with multiple small UTXOs which will cost you more fees to consolidate in the future.

Alternatively, avoid the exchanges altogether and trade peer-to-peer on this forum or a DEX, and then there is no withdrawal fee.

That is what could happen for some of those who are just buying at every dip, until the consolidation ends he can then send his BTC outside which at least he will just do it once.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON’s Justin Sun Announces an Announcement (Again) on: November 14, 2019, 08:48:41 PM

I have no idea what niTron is.

I have been following TRX though because of the hype he did in the past. Now that he already claimed to have bought Polo I guess there is much to see from what he could come up with it and TRON. For a project to rank above with huge marketcap, its interesting still since the dapps still continues to increase.
944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not control my bitcoins - Zimbabwe News! on: November 14, 2019, 07:25:13 PM
Its their government way of controlling people though. They have to limit the money to be withdrawn or else it will be withdrawn by an individual who can withdraw thousands to hundred thousands for himself and all others will be left with nothing. BTC might not be solving their situation there for the moment if no one accepts BTC as fee for products to buy. They will first have to fix their government which is going to take more than decades before it can happen.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making money through DEX fee's. The next big thing? on: November 14, 2019, 07:14:57 PM
I really like decentralized exchanges and I hope that they will become popular in 2020. However, many people do not use decentralized exchanges due to trading volume.

honestly, it is not just the trading volume that I consider in choosing an exchange. I am also not certain to connect my wallet directly to the dex exchange, though I have the private key, the regulation, and convenience that a centralized exchange is what I want to consider. Most of the time, the volume in DEX is determined by traders, and it might not be the reason why people don't want to trade in DEX since the volume can be achieve if the crpyto do really is performing well in the market. It is the regulation that centralized exchange provides, despite of wallet security or also known as "not your keys, not your coins".

True! A friend of mine has traded on DEX's for a few months already, and otherwise used exchanges with no KYC. He's a very "private" person, told me NOT to tell anyone of our friends that he even owns any crypto.
There's a LOT of people who straight up AVOID exchanges with KYC, because they want to remain private. Makes sense, it's the reason BTC was created in the first place. It's nobodys business what you trade and hold.

Guess what? KYC/AML is coming to every exchange, be it a CEX or a DEX.

No it's not. What makes you even think that? A real DEX is not owned by anyone. Based on your logic, everyone of us would have to undergo KYC every time we access the internet, which isn't true at all. Use a prepaid phone, and jump on an open Wifi connection, and you're pretty much anonymous.

I think you need to do some research here buddy, as decentralized trading works just like when you download torrents. These transactions happens between users, and no one else.

Several DEX are owned by people just like Mcaffees and Ivanov, there is a possibility that they may ask KYC if government asks them to. The one DEX that might not really be compromised by government is blocknet since you can install the exchange itself. The problem with blocknet is that there isn't much coins listed to it, they don't even have ETH there.

946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An investor lost $24 million worth of bitcoin on: November 14, 2019, 04:39:34 PM
With such amount it shouldn't be on the exchange or online wallet where anyone with the knowledge of howtos can access anyone's email. Some websites can even be accessed by the mobile's phone number, they don't need to know your email address but just the mobile number. If $1M is worth the killing, for $24M I'd probably bomb the suspect to pieces.
947  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto Adoption Expanding Everywhere on: November 14, 2019, 01:33:00 PM
Nothing is too early for adoption. Cardano is a good coin. I have invested to it and are still holding my coins. But I have to say merchants should just concentrate more on accepting BTC and ETH just like the airlines because its a much accepted for now. Cardano will one day moon but I don't see adoption to it in terms of dapps running with Cardano.
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PAC (Pacquiao) Token Starts Trading from Nov 12. Will You Buy It? If Yes, Why? on: November 13, 2019, 03:50:10 PM
Are you kidding me? I don't see any point in buying or investing in altcoin which doesn't have the concept to die for and to my understanding, the concept behind the coin creation was just a kind of joke.
I hope been a die-hard fan won't be enough to blind people into buying or investing in the coin.

He is not kidding. Someone must have explained to him what blockchain is. Pacquiao may not be as bright as we may think but I believe he understood what all these cryptocurrencies are. He has the money, he is a senator and has all the time in the world to read asks things what he has to know.

Floyd may have even introduced BTC to him, the two seem to have constant talks and I think the two had planned all these lol If he really backs this coin, this could be pumped before taking a nosedive.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the Bounty program is over? on: November 13, 2019, 02:29:41 PM

The investors are just frustrated about what had happened from 2018-2019 and so they are not investing to any projects right now since the market is yet not in a good condition. But once the market began to have green signs all over everyday and BTC gone up to $15k, the trust will be restored little by little. Investors may one again come and this I GUESS is all for the money and then bounty campaigns will probably be profitable again for the users.
950  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Freewallet makes me stress asking me proof ID and freezing my wallet on: November 13, 2019, 02:03:38 PM
Users who are not willing to install desktop wallet somehow resorted to signing up on blockchain.com as their webwallet and not to freewallet.org. I guess blockchain.com is somehow acceptable even it being an online wallet.  You will have to decide whether is it worth submitting KYC and selfies than just give up and forget about the coins you have to them.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: November 13, 2019, 01:21:57 PM
its hard to recover investor trust because many times they got scam. and now, altcoin its like shitcoin, i dont know where is the best place to take shelter. and someone interest in altcoin drop because of it.
Because when entering 2018 many ICO scams made investors start fear to invest their money, and now there is another solution namely IEO but also has flaws when IEO is launched on exchangers that are less popular and have a small trading volume
There's always a flow if you don't know what you are doing with your investment, the risk should be understood correctly in order to be ready if what will happen to your money. Most investors are hard to be attract due to uncertainty of any new projects that being introduced, both ICO's and IEO's
having troubles convincing investors to support them, not unless the project came from big name exchange there's good chance to get something from those kinds of projects.

The reason why these projects become scam is because of the bear market and there is nothing between the team and ethereum network that will bind them to have accountability which will force them to continue the project they started. In the bear season, these developers because they are not traders lose the funds when coin prices gradually dried out leaving these poor developers without funds to compensate themselves to work hard. Investors lose trust to projects on ETH.

These were solved in the case of EOS and TRX, the only developers allowed to develop in these platform are the ones capable. Though it made them centralize in a way, it guarantees project will be launched and not just empty promises.

952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: November 13, 2019, 12:40:23 PM

BTC is best introduced when allowing the person you are trying to convince to learn BTC is to give few BTC to them to experience how it works. Most of the time when you tell them that they can already buy that amount somewhere in Japan, they will soon think of when its going to happen in your local are.
953  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Shortex] – Independent crypto ecosystem: Exchange, Payments, IEOs on: November 12, 2019, 07:32:01 PM

Must be related since the logo is no doubt very identical.

https://exchange.shortex.tech/trading/ethusd
https://exchange.shortex.net/trading/ethusdc

Its just the extension that changes and so I guess this is sort of a back up like yobit.net where it can also be access on yobit.io .

Seem very new exchange but were already doing some IEO, I doubt investors will really create an account where in many of the exchanges will also KYC.

954  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any Impact of AI technology in Trading? on: November 12, 2019, 06:59:19 PM
AI may not really be the most brilliant technology ever created today, it may not even be the focus right now of government, industrial companies, facebook and banks because in the next few decades we are all going to be in transition to using blockchain and smartcontracts. They will all realize how revolutionary this technology is and we may be able to use it in trading.

But automation in trading will really depend to the kind of conditions and parameters to execute buy/sell order. In Forex this is what they call the Expert Advisor (EA) where they just install it on their trading platform and go on with their daily lives. Soon they realize EA doesn't understand all kind of market situation because in most case they end up losing money. When trading is automated, the decision isn't made by you but the bots.
955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your EOS price prediction? on: November 12, 2019, 04:02:23 PM

$911 is huge. There would be really extra ordinary things that should happen first if we have to experience this big prices of altcoin. If EOS is going to be that high, this will also mean that ETH is to be more than $2500. A lot of people who are holding altcoins will really be rich by just holding whatever they have. I'd be worrying how low it will be the bears are to follow.
956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PAC (Pacquiao) Token Starts Trading from Nov 12. Will You Buy It? If Yes, Why? on: November 12, 2019, 03:15:54 PM

If what is said here is the only use for the coin, it may not really help investors hold the coin for long term. The developers wouldn't be this reliable if they stopped at just that use case of the coin but traders can still profit from the project.

Manny Pacquiao still has plans to fight on the ring and most likely the price of the coin will jump every time this happens. He owns malls and hotels, his businesses should accept these coins.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: which exchange should I use? on: November 12, 2019, 08:24:55 AM

That wallet has really huge amount of money on it. I will probably live travel all over the world with that money the only problem is withdrawing it. If you haven't been in the exchange where you have submitted KYC then don't go into an exchange. Try to just find someone who will buy coins from you like ETH for paypal funds.

I just checked it you just made a transaction by sending out USDT, you have decide which one a I guess. I wonder why the wallet has LibraToken (LBA) by mycred.io?
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi Global will freeze all US user accounts from November 13 on: November 11, 2019, 06:51:45 PM
Seems like Top cryptocurrency exchanges are making ways to create a separate market for USA customers different from what is obtainable at the international market (probably because of SEC) Binance, Upbit, Bittrex and now. Huobi. What does this spell for crypto market as a whole

https://huobiglobal.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000659122/
Another separate market but that must be the best idea to create a separate market that fits with SE regulation rather than use the old exchange site which focused to be used globally by various countries.
if you are creating a separate market like binance and it will be so easy to maintain the US customers caused by that separate exchange site has already made based on the SEC regulation.

If you are still using your base service to accept US customer and you are putting your base service like huobi global in a big risk when it still deals with US customer. This will give a huge impact caused by US customer can get in the market. This is the best way how to deal with the US market. There must be a separate service that fully complies with SEC regulation.

Yes, i dont think its entirely a bad idea to create an exchange tailored to best serve the US customers because of the regulations and laws directly affecting a US user because so far, what is applicable in China or other parts of the seems to be different for USA. So its fair

Each country will have different laws for cryptocurrency US citizen will be under the US SEC of course but then those countries where cryptocurrency isn't yet dealt by the government, I guess is free for them. China's law against cryptocurreny I think will really change entirely different when their digital fiat currency will be launched.

Most exchanges had been doing it already, Binance, Huobi, Polo, the list will add up soon.

959  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i make 50.000$ fast ? on: November 11, 2019, 06:01:26 PM
Another naive new Bitcoin user that thinks Bitcoin is easy money and he can get rich over night and without losses, of course.
There is no fsst and easy way to make such amount of money unless you are doing something illegal. Dealing with cryptocurrencies is risky, it takes time, patience, knowledge and experience.
Ik i have wrong expectations. Lately i got so obssesed with making this amount of money i dont know what to do anymore. I see other guys around my age on yt getting rich with day trading and i dont know how they do it.

How long would take me to learn crypto trading and make 50.000$ ? Or at least 20.000$ is all i need rn.

You mean the ad on Youtube? I've seen many of them, petite girl explaining how easy she earns by BTC trading?
Of course its going to make you feel like its easy to earn by trading, its their words. You'd be disappointed within a week of trading you can only get about $30, even less.  Find a job while continuing your studies and think about opportunity cost.
960  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start trading with 2 BTC? What is the first step? on: November 11, 2019, 05:39:07 PM

Don't start using leverage, even traders to had been trading for year lose a lot of money due to it. Start by just selling your BTC for USD and then buy back when it dips. Basically BTC/USDT is the pair. 2BTC is even big enough to play around as a newbie. I could really start with just $200 nothing for you but pennies.  Moving averages and RSI I guess, that's just the indicators to use for starters.

To avoid loss, which should be your first concern is that don't do anything yet unless a spike or price nosedive happen. and when that happens, check the RSI and then take action. This usually work for daily chart so no hurries, wait for days.
