2. Put the numerical index of the order of this into a deadman switch which will be sent to them if I fail to respond for my chosen period / times.

Trusting these devices is difficult and it may not broadcast the message at all, so I prefer to use a 3-of-5 (or 3-of-4)  multi-signature wallet, and you can choose the distribution according to what you need:

  • A key to a safe place such as a bank or a safe for a private company that protects everything, with their names placed on the list of guardians after proof of death
  • Another key is in the house.
  • A lawyer's key is in a safe whose password no one knows.
  • Distribute the password among them.
  • You have two additional keys that you can keep in a safe place outside the country or with a friend you trust.

942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unusual mnemonic seed and alternative recovery options on: September 21, 2023, 09:16:33 AM
She tried to login with the wallet ID instead of email, which asked for her password, which then gave a "Authorization required, check your email" message. So I'm assuming she also had two factor authentication.

Let her try to create a new account using that email or recover the wallet-ID using it. If a new account is created, this means that it is not the email associated with your account, and if you get a notification with the wallet-ID, then the problem is on their part in sending authorization mails.

There is a suggestion: If she is using a device from 2016 or from a device that she has connected to before, then try to connect through it. People rarely delete cookies, and if cookies are present, they may bypass authorization, although I think the probability of this option being successful is slim.
943  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Whats your thoughts: Next-Gen Bitcoin Mining Machine With 1X Efficiency Rating. on: September 21, 2023, 08:53:51 AM
So guys I stumbled on this article while doing my normal reading routine and I decided to bring it here to know how miners in the forum will react about this development by freely expressing their take about  it by way of a discussion.

If you have any investments in Bitcoin or are adopting any investment plan according to articles on bitcoin.com, it is a misleading site and may intentionally publish false information related to Bitcoin, and sometimes BCH is mentioned as if it were Bitcoin, review the article more than once or stop browsing them.

What do you think about Microbt’s plans to launch a new bitcoin miner with an efficiency rating of 1X J/T?  Share your thoughts and opinions about this subject just for the purpose of discussion.
Planning is different from implementation. Implementation requires testing several times before we can say that the promises they make are true. Therefore, we rarely witness rapid transformation of mining devices without tests. Some people may request a device or two, and after several months of experimentation, we can give an evaluation.
944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do crypto gateways compare to traditional methods in security & efficiency? on: September 21, 2023, 08:31:57 AM

And to be honest, local currency doesn't fluctuate that much, and in some sight that fluctuation is good. Because those who are making losses due to transactional fees and due to the volatility of the BTC. They might recover the loss by selling BTC into USDT and then USDT into local currency while the rates are now high and you are getting more money in local currency now due to the high fluctuations in the local currency/USDT pair.
It is that you are limited to a certain time before selling Bitcoin. The best stores can wait a year or two before selling their balance of Bitcoin, and then they may be forced to sell at a loss. For example, whoever bought Bitcoin in the previous period may be forced to sell it at the end of the year at a price less than 20,000.

Small stores cannot bear such surprises. They either use a third party that processes Bitcoin and transfers it to the bank account, whether in dollars or local currency, or they transfer part of their balances into stablecoin.
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I'm looking for information on the wallet that has been emptied after the crack on: September 21, 2023, 08:08:49 AM
To collect information, if bitcoins are in the hackers wallet and it has not been moved, you may need to search  https://walletexplorer.com/wallet/
Walletexplorer is a poor tool for tracking transactions, which hasn't had most of the name database updated since 2016 since the founder moved on and now works for Chainalysis.com. If the hacker does not co-spend the transaction with other UTXO's in the same wallet. Walletexplorer will never know.
This is the main goal of such services. If you do not spend from many inputs (not using coinControl,) there is no way to know that they are linked except by connecting to a node managed by block analysis service and not having used Tor.
I agree with you that the results are bad, but I think they update them from time to time to exploit this service to collect more data, just as is the case when cooperating with some explorers.

Do you know a better or updated tool?

947  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Kroll Cyber Security Incident Leaks Out FTX Claimant Data on: September 20, 2023, 12:25:16 PM
The method for customers to recover their money from FTX started horribly, and I hope that the next stages will pass smoothly, but it is clear that from the moment the report was published, there was data sharing with several parties, not Kroll alone. Therefore, I think that it is easy for one of these parties to leak the data, and the entire recovery method seems hasty and as if An attempt to hide something. I do not think that everyone who lost their data will try to sue Kroll. I hope that they will be able to recover their money quickly and that what happened was a faltering start and not behavior that will turn the case into a new MTgox.
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do crypto gateways compare to traditional methods in security & efficiency? on: September 20, 2023, 12:14:15 PM
The current problem with Bitcoin is the limited user base and the fluctuation of exchange rates, which makes many people prefer to spend money with bank cards or banking services rather than spending it with Bitcoin, but in terms of security, the correct setting of the payment processing service reduces the possibility of losing your money, as you are in control of everything, you will not have to pay a commission or compliance with the terms of use. In terms of speed, it is the fastest based on the fact that payments are final and there is no possibility of using the Lightning network for small transactions.
The problem of exchange rate fluctuation can be solved by using a third party that converts bitcoin into dollars or stablecoins.
949  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All newbies should be aware. on: September 20, 2023, 11:56:09 AM
If you find money on the ground, this does not mean that you will find it daily at a pace that enables you to pay all your obligations. This is the same behavior that encourages people to airdrop, as there is a small possibility that one of several hundred of them will make a profit. However, this small gain makes people rush to it as long as it is written "Free" on them, but they do not feel that this free price comes with a price, either by trying to steal them, stealing their data, or wasting their time on worthless tokens.

Ignore every free Airdrop that comes to you, as you will lose a thousand dollars every few years, and use this time to learn something useful that will give you a continuous and guaranteed gain instead of dreams that may not came
950  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Notable apps that can accept BTC for premium subscription packages. on: September 20, 2023, 11:32:47 AM
Part of these services accept payment in Bitcoin directly, such as hosting service providers, VPNs, or freelancing platforms, or through Bitcoin payment services, whether direct, such as btcpayserver, or indirectly, such as cards that are charged with Bitcoin, such as Binance Pay. Indirect methods can include purchasing gift cards or postpaid cards, or paying a third party to conduct the transaction for you.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: How to reduce the price of goods on: September 20, 2023, 11:22:08 AM
Defining a high price may help you know whether the price is normal in your country or not. Food prices have risen globally in the past three years, either due to military-political conflicts, supply chain problems, or stagflation, which encourages people to consume more due to fear of an increase in the commodity. In the future or not available.
Search for the international price of the product, check the transfer price and withdraw taxes and profits. If the prices are reasonable, your problem cannot be solved except by improving your income. Otherwise, there is actually a problem with price manipulation in your country.
This manipulation can be minimized according to your country, as it is possible to buy in large quantities from ports and then ship to you, or the residents of a neighborhood or region agree to create a place for discounted sales based on tax exemptions or a reduction in transportation fees or profits.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I'm looking for information on the wallet that has been emptied after the crack on: September 20, 2023, 09:41:22 AM
I see in your previous post that you are looking for private keys for an old wallet, you are looking for a person who helps you to restore your wallet or a private key for an old wallet/Private Keys/Slushpool Account ?

To collect information, if bitcoins are in the hackers wallet and it has not been moved, you may need to search  https://walletexplorer.com/wallet/ or contact Blockchain Analytic Services. else e-mail will not help you, post your post your TX ID, as you used newbie account that you will not reveal your identity, .
953  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there another similar concept? on: September 20, 2023, 09:28:46 AM

Yes, that's what am talking about. I may have not properly articulated my question, still am glad you did help me with a better response.
I can also only imagine what makes this Bitcointalk forum more successful than Bitcoingarden forum from your perspective or from anyones' who can contribute.
Continuity. before the signature campaigns, there was an interest in the forum, as the forum continued as a place for discussion from 2009 to 2013, which is the date of registration of the first signature campaign.

We can attribute the cause of higher activity or density to post in a specific board due to signature campaigns, which are easy to notice their effect. Even trusted members change their posting pattern according to those campaigns. Most members of Chipmixer no longer publish 50 posts per week even though they were doing this for years.

The density of posting and active new members is controlled by signature campaigns and the price of bitcoin. As for the existence and continuity of the forum, it is a reality, as there are boards that are not within the signature campaigns and have activity such as serious discussions, political and the wall.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dominace on: September 19, 2023, 11:05:01 AM
Bitcoin dominance is not an indicator on which technical analysis is calculated because it measures something limited versus something unlimited and changes easily. Market prices for alternative currencies are easy to manipulate and cannot be considered an indicator of growth compared to the difficulty or impossibility of manipulating them in Bitcoin due to the limited and variable supply with a fixed curve.

The dominance measure measures Bitcoin with its mass of all altcoins, including which it may not necessarily mean an increase in the price of altcoin (because they contain stablecoins), but the least relationship we can describe is

  • dominance UP                                 bitcoin UP                                  ALTCOINS DOWN
  • dominance UP                                 bitcoin DOWN                             ALTCOINS DUMP
  • dominance DOWN                            bitcoin UP                                 ALTCOINS PUMP

At some point, we will reach the USDT market cap being higher than Bitcoin, but this will not change the price of Bitcoin or lead to its decline.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UnionBank to offer Bitcoin trading on mobile app in Octomber on: September 19, 2023, 11:01:24 AM
My impression changes according to the type of service. If it keeps Bitcoin in a safe place for investors and gives them certificates or access in their banking services without the possibility of withdrawing to their wallets, then this type of adoption is bad because it exposes investors to risks. However, it is not possible to guarantee that these banks actually bought Bitcoin.
If it is possible to withdraw currencies to wallets, I think it is a good adoption and better than centralized exchanges that do not guarantee anything to customers, with a high possibility that you will be scammed.

Where you got this information? Union Bank doing there business on Bangladesh and bitcoin is still illegal on Bangladesh so it is not possible yet to accept bitcoin trade on Union Bank. i am not sure they can accept bitcoin trading Because i didn’t get any news about it. before posting a new information you should post a source link where you got the information.
Different bank branches in different countries adhere to the standards of those countries, you may find that they accept the service in one place and reject it in another place according to those standards. This does not prevent the Philippine branch from providing the cryptocurrency service and that it does not exist in Bangladesh.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They sent me btc to my wallet they were available and then they disappeared! on: September 19, 2023, 10:27:43 AM
Copy the Bitcoin address from which you received that balance in blockchair.com. The balance that appears here is your balance. If the currencies are present, then it is either a synchronization problem or you made a mistake. If they are not present, then either you have been defrauded (the old transaction has become invalid) or Someone gained access to your private key.
957  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CryptoRadar Exchange on: September 19, 2023, 10:20:39 AM
I added an incorrect email account that does not contain @XX.com and a password consisting of 3 duplicate letters. The account I created has been accepted. This is a vulnerability in the platform's security and is a bad impression of how and how developed your security team is.
Not only does the interface need to be changed, but do you have ownership rights to the existing images? If you have obtained licenses, it is better to stay away from copyright issues.
Why don't I get trading prices before creating an account?
958  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is there an exchange as similar as txbit.io? on: September 19, 2023, 09:30:47 AM
By looking at this link https://web.archive.org/web/20230530195659/https://txbit.io/ almost all the features in it are available and you can search this list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5461920.0 that are not strict about identity verification.
Visa, Mastercard and advcash you can use bestchange.com It will give you a list of platforms that accept these payments and convert them to Bitcoin, and then you can use the list above to trade or exchange between cryptocurrencies.
959  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there another similar concept? on: September 19, 2023, 09:04:18 AM
You read my conscience on this I must say...hehehe.
I no longer understand your point. Are you looking for other forums that pay people for renting their signatures, or talking about other advertising services on the forum that are not related to gambling?

All advertising share a simple principle, which is that there is an influential person who has an audience base such that they believe that what he is advertising is something useful, whether that influence is by preparing videos, or by writing high-quality posts. From here we find that advertising campaigns are looking for those people, and almost all of us used or is using cryptocurrencies, so it is a suitable place for anyone who wants to manage a crypto advertising campaign, although the advertising here are not limited to signature campaigns.
