With this new addition bASIC-MINING has increased it's hashing power to approximately 465,000 Mh/s or 9.3Mh/s per share.

OK, OK.  I was just playing devil's advocate to get the discussion going.

Besides, it looks like Avalon's handling of refunds is even less timely, responsive, and transparent than their hardware division.  People have been waiting 20 days with no confirmation much less refunds.   Huh

Yes, their communication is lacking...well it stinks quite frankly. Still they've been the best source of reasonably priced efficient hardware for the past several months.

Cheers.

As Avalon is likely going to fully move away from OEM after this batch it might be worth looking into OEM hardware with the Avalon chips. Between Terrahash and some other products coming online we'll probably need to expand rapidly to keep up - at least until we get some amount of saturation and difficulty becomes more incremental.

BTC0.02

Hi davos. I have some plans in the works that should allow us to at the very least keep up with difficulty increases. More to follow.

Cheers.

Creativex,

I'm fairly new to the Bitcoin world but see the value in your company. What is the best way to buy shares?

Thank you,
Bill

Hi Bill. As was suggested btct.co is where virtual shares are traded. Here's a direct link.

Avalon is taking the BFL route of coerced refunds, great.   Roll Eyes

"Accept our flexible definition of 'two weeks = Soon' or take back the money you lent us with no interest."

"Ya, that's what we thought.  Thanks for the free loan, suckers.  Now we're rich and famous but you get jack."

I vote to cancel and buy an early KnC Jupiter pre-order.  We have enough Avalons now and they are shady.

that is a terrible idea. !

although trying to get in on KnC early would be nice. Just not by hastily cancelling anything.

Agreed. The history of all of these companies is delay, delay, delay. The odds of everything going rosy for knc is low IMO. While Avalon has had issues ramping up production they're very plainly shipping in volume. If they make a smooth transition to shipping batch 3, then we should have our 4 module rig within a couple weeks. Anything from knc would take months to begin hashing for us...best case scenario.

Cheers.

I've no intention of cancelling our order. We've waited this long, the unit should easily surpass 100Gh and it's cost the company 101.xx. It's still a bargain to my mind, *IF* Avalon does indeed get them out the door very soon.

Cheers.

Travelling today, so will be unavailable. I'm going to try to calculate today's dividend earlier than usual and queue it up, but I may end up just paying PPS and squaring it with tomorrow's divvy.

Cheers.

I've liquidated the company's position in ASICMiner-PT.

The 100 shares were purchased for 247.8182406 and sold for 429.1400998 for a profit of 181.3218592. bASIC-Mining shareholders received dividends totaling 13.4882 from the shares while they were held by the company.

Am I wrong or is the queued ฿ 4.12473691 dividend (in terms of total BTC) the largest in the history of BASIC-MINING? Grin

You're not wrong. In fact, today's daily dividend is larger than the sum of all dividends paid out during the entire month of May(3.53567134). Bitparking was on a tear again yesterday which paid us 1.87619927 on four blocks. Smiley

955  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 60GH Butterfly Units, in hand. on: July 08, 2013, 10:00:33 PM
You guys are wasting your time.

I have some 60gh Butterfly units arriving on Friday. If anyone makes a good offer, I'm willing to sell a couple of them. I will accept escrow or in person, btc or $. I'm currently in WA state. Once I receive the units I will get some pictures and stats posted.

122BTC wasn't a "good offer".

Good luck with fleabay OP. Hope you don't get paypal chargeback scammed, though we all know there's virtually zero protection from it. In the future may I suggest that if you intend to offer a contingent sale such as this one that you link to the competing auction or in some way update potential buyers in your sale thread? I wasted my own valuable time on this and petitioned the services of two separate escrow agents when I was led to believe we'd reached an agreement and the bottom line was that this sale thread is a non-starter.

Good job ! How much loot you needed to drop on that puppy ?

Thank you! This silver beauty was 160BTC. Spreadsheet updated to reflect this purchase.

Cheers.

Awesome find!  The GPU that are offline, time to sell?

Hi miTgiB. Yeah, I'm working on a sale thread...just have my hands full ATM.

I was Travelling all weekend, but was fortunately able to make a stop and pick up this beautiful batch 1.

So am I right in thinking we STILL have another batch 3 on order?

You'd be correct. It's a four module beast too, so if I can keep it cool we should be able to get over 100Gh/s from it.

IF so you are rapidly becoming my favourite person on these forums. GREAT WORK
