941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you wanted to stop Bitcoin? on: February 23, 2015, 02:40:04 PM
if i wanted to stop bitcoin i would go on bitcointalk forum and create a topic asking people for ideas, you know like a brainstorming and use them to crash bitcoin Cheesy
The most important part of your plan is having a shit ton of money to execute it. No matter how much brainstorming you do, without the massive resources it would all be to no avail.
942  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: February 23, 2015, 12:35:18 AM
Are you thirsty when you are curious?

did you know that curiousity kill the cat ?
What will kill this thread?
943  Economy / Economics / Re: POLL: In the US, is a $250,000 household income middle class? on: February 23, 2015, 12:34:43 AM
Most people have enough money to pay the bills and that's that. The middle class is slowly disappearing, at the end we'll have only lower and upper (then the mega elite rich 1% that live off everyone else doing shit nothing while pretending they are doing something).
944  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: February 23, 2015, 12:32:44 AM
Reject all false prophets, the only real one is Satoshi.
945  Other / Politics & Society / Re: One of the professional scam I hate the most is : Notary on: February 23, 2015, 12:32:17 AM

A notary is a lawyer or person with legal training who is licensed by the government to perform acts in legal affairs, in particular witnessing signatures on documents. The form that the notarial profession takes varies with local legal systems.[1]

The blockchain will ruin them, with the accountants Cheesy... I am lovin'ittm. I will even spit on them when they will be in the severs...
Yes, they are the most boring people on earth as well lol.
946  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How the CIA made Google on: February 23, 2015, 12:10:32 AM
That was an enlightening read, and not just about Google.

And the development doesn't stand still:

They say darpa is also involved with the Boston Dynamics robots. Is there something that isn't related to Darpa?
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates Interview - Bitcoin is Better than Currency on: February 23, 2015, 12:05:32 AM
Bill gates is confused, I've seen the other video and he criticize the cryptocurrency and I don't know what will happen (microsoft_xbox marketplace | is accepting bitcoin, so why all this story?).

For the record, Bill Gates no longer has any real control over his own company, so Microsoft can pretty much do what it likes since it is publicly traded.
Well I don't believe for a second Bill Gates has 0 power on Microsoft even if he left.

But yeah most likely he wasnt there about the Bitcoin adoption. He wants his own coin..
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos said Give Bitcoin Two Years on: February 23, 2015, 12:04:15 AM
Would you agree or not?

Bitcoin Only Needs Two Years

Hmmmm... I respect the guy yeah.. But I do not know where his information came from.
2 years might be a little bold.. Maybe give it 3-5 years. I am still having doubt about that.

What do you think?

And what will happen in two years? HMmmm?

bitcoin reward halving, amung other things, regulations will surely come much sooner, so the clients will feel more secure in investing and holding their funds.
two years is quite a long time, who knows what more will happen, whales will have enough time to silently buy large portions of bitcoin maybe ?

cheers

Indeed lots of things will change in two years, but its a mix of pure hype and based reasons to believe.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin fails.. on: February 23, 2015, 12:03:14 AM
What have you learned from Bitcoin?

gov is fail, corrupt ... and, at the end, not guilty by the actual law.  Roll Eyes
the true is ... they don't help any people on earth.
they destroy the work of all intelligentes persons.

in the future, i don't be surprise to see a bitcoin governement system (vote and adopt law and decision with decentralised vote with blockchain).

it's very easy to do, now.
The powers that be are not going to give up their power to let people vote like that.
Not unless they are taken out by force and even taht doesnt guarantee living in a better world.
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin foundation is a very bad idea on: February 21, 2015, 07:35:56 PM
Those who are against the foundation shall realize, the sooner the better, that bitcoin, as it is, is doomed because it cannot grow. It doesn't scale well. It's very easy to kill bitcoin: you would just need to increase ten-fold the number of transactions. One solution against this is to increase the block size, but that raises other issues, so there's a need for qualified people (not me) to make the right decisions, and modify the code. Who else could do it, if not the foundation?

Qualified people that aren't necessarly part of the foundation.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yanis-Varoufakis-Greece, Bitcoin WILL save them from Europe. It won't be pretty. on: February 21, 2015, 07:27:07 PM
Just one week now boys. We'll see what the greek goverment really has to offer, 28 is the dead end.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin backed National currency, the digital standard on: February 21, 2015, 07:24:39 PM
The volatility is too high to be adopted as a national currency imo.
953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you wanted to stop Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2015, 07:12:51 PM
If yo uhad bill gates money you could build an insane mining mine and do a 51+% attack I guess.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ISIS to create own coin. How can we convince to use Bitcoin? on: February 21, 2015, 07:02:26 PM
The coin would collapse in seconds since everyone hates ISIS and it would get destroyed by speculation hackers etc.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, How Long Will It Last? on: February 21, 2015, 07:00:35 PM
BTC will eventually be replaced I think, because deflation can be bad or good, and usually it is good when it is driven by innovation, not supply limits
And how the hell isn't bitcoin and everything related to it not innovation lol.
956  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: We dont have enough decimal places. on: February 21, 2015, 06:55:55 PM
The word "satoshi" as a denomination of currency sounds ridiculous. Too Japanese (i.e. not global) and draws too much attention to the fact that BTC was in a way created in Rothschildesque secrecy.
it looks cool to me, im ok with japanese culture. What do you propose, bits??
957  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: We dont have enough decimal places. on: February 20, 2015, 08:02:07 PM
This has been addressed already and the conclusion that i gathered was its not a problem
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ISIS and Bitcoin Again on: February 20, 2015, 07:50:29 PM
you really think million worth of bitcoins will be used by ISIS Huh
why would they use something that is traceable and govt. will surely look into such big movement
Most of the money will keep being moved in USD because is the mot accepted world wide, btc is still a small niche.
959  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin banks on: February 20, 2015, 07:47:32 PM
bitcoin has already a banks, and this is your wallet, your personal bank, which is the best and most secure bank, if you know what you do
Some people just will never get their heads around having to be fully responsable of your own wealth storage, they will demand banks to feel safer.
Exactly. Most people have that mentality and nothing is going to change that I am afraid.
960  Other / Off-topic / Re: We've drawn Satoshi Nakamoto on: February 20, 2015, 07:46:38 PM
Thats amazing. I wish I was an early rich investor so I could get a poster out of it and get away with it.
