941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: November 07, 2023, 02:12:34 AM
The only reason I bet on this is because I got extra free bet to spare otherwise I might skip it tonight. I mean Son had a good time playing so far but Chelsea would have already realized this by now and might shut him down tonight. I still personally think Tottenham is way better than Chelsea but for Son to score is just another matter to consider but hey its a free bet for me so I hope this hit tonight  Smiley
Unfortunately, we got cooked with those red cards and Son's goal was removed(offside) in the first half. I thought one was still doable for Tottenham and then the second red came in during the early second half.

This week was rough with all these upsets and unexpected results, but hopefully, we can bounce back tomorrow with the UCL matches.

Somehow, my best results are always during these low-scoring rounds but I might struggle in the next few weeks as four of my players are in a questionable spot.

Also, I was on pace to win another free bet until things ended unexpectedly in the Tottenham match, pushing me back by a few points.  Tongue
943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: at which point of a boxing match you consider cashingout? on: November 07, 2023, 12:07:11 AM
If i'm taking the underdog, i'll cash out once the amount is close to 80-90% of the payout, but it's rare to find a good crypto sportsbook with good cash out for all sports. In UFC or MMA betting, you're lucky if you can find a sportsbook that offers a cash out because, during my betting experience with UFC, all or most sportsbooks don't offer live betting for these sports. Anyway, that's what I would do if I somehow find myself betting on an underdog and the sportsbook I use found a way to provide cash out on UFC bets.

I caught this at the final minute before it got removed from the specials page. This one looks promising when Chelsea has been on and off recently while Tottenham plans to extend their streak.

I also have another bet on Tottenham's team total over 1.5, but this MOTD is the value pick when all three can align if they make at least two goals against Chelsea.

945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Out of curiosity, how much you wagered recently? on: November 06, 2023, 04:52:02 AM
I saw people wagering a lot of money, but this guy took it to some higher levels... How can we compete in some wagering wars and competitions against players who wager so much? Do we even have a chance? Smiley
These past few months, my wagered stats reached around the thousands, so I doubt i'll stand a chance to beat the records of those gambling streamers anytime soon.  Tongue

With the way gambling streamers get their balance filled endlessly like they're spending play money, we regular gamblers don't stand a chance aside from a couple of high rollers because there will always be a few users who will gamble away a lot of money on casinos unless Trainwrecks gambles every day to maintain his wagering record.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should Casinos Sponsor Sites That Deals With Gambling Addiction on: November 06, 2023, 03:07:53 AM
I had to vote for the third option because not all casinos are in a position to sponsor or donate to these sites. Then again, as the others have said, it's rare to see casinos go the extra mile on gambling addiction when most of them have links on where to seek help (GambleAware, GamCare, etc.). If the question is only limited to those big casinos, I would've changed my vote to "Yes" because there's no specific amount and these casinos would easily make back what they donated within a week or less.

I finally won my first round, thanks to Juventus and their goalkeeper had a great performance to leave his goal at 0
Congrats on the win, and I finally got my first loss this season. Fiorentina failed to make the most out of their chances, only getting 1 SOG in the second half, while Juventus got two.  Tongue
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: November 06, 2023, 12:15:42 AM
The interesting ones are the Eagles vs Cowboys and Bills vs Bengals.
The Eagles took back the lead in the third quarter and should win if they can hold the Cowboys in the fourth.

It's time for me to go against the Bills for the SNF match. The Bills struggled more than I expected in the past few weeks, and the Bengals have more impressive wins than the Bills. I guess the bookies want the trend to continue since the Bengals always have tight results at home (4-point win vs Seahawks, 3-point win vs Rams, 3-point loss vs Ravens).

Edit: Winner, Bengals got the win as expected.  Cheesy

I mean I would understand if its still TI so they might want to stretch it longer to get the best peak views that they could get but TI is over so there is actually no reason to drag this anytime longer. They could have made atleast 2 games per day for the quarterfinals but they didnt which is kinda sucks because I gotta wait for 1 more days to see Faker play  Tongue
I agree it sucks, plus the gap between the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals is a week apart, which is unnecessarily long compared to TI, where they squeezed the main event within an entire weekend.

Ouch it seems LOL is kinda unpredictable huh, BLG just owned GEN G for the first 2 maps. They just seems better than GEN G for now
Yup, BLG showed up in a big way, and Gen G didn't adapt from their mistakes by allowing BLG to pick the same jungle champ throughout the series.  Tongue
951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos good or bad? on: November 04, 2023, 12:54:41 AM
What do you guys think about this new trend? Is it good or bad?
I've had a similar experience before when Sportsbet released their Telegram bot and you can start placing bets once you've linked your account. I'd say it's good because logging in through the mobile browser can be a hassle with the 2fa and with their Telegram version, you could quickly open Telegram if you plan to start a short gambling session. I guess the bad part is the need to frequently update their Telegram casino because it'll have missing features from the start so most of their players might prefer to gamble with the browser.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between crypto gamblers - regular gamblers on: November 04, 2023, 12:11:42 AM
I think it's the same between crypto gamblers and fiat gamblers. The name may be different, but it's the same.
I agree we can't gauge the difference between the two except for the deposit and withdrawal method. I don't spend much time observing other fiat gamblers, but I still see a lot of crypto gamblers who fall for these bonuses and then post a complaint or accusation later on. I think OP is giving more credit to us crypto gamblers when we're not that different from fiat gamblers overall. I also see a good bunch of them who make helpful guides, templates, and other stuff that helps new gamblers.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conclusion after losing millions! that games are rigged. on: November 03, 2023, 05:10:54 PM
With hundreds of players placing bets on Stake, there could always be another bettor winning on the other end, so I wouldn't say it's straight-up rigged. I've experienced the same losses whenever i'm upping my bet size, but I think it's more about the house edge tipping the numbers in favor of the casino than the game being rigged. Also, slots have one of the worst win probabilities, so it's expected to see gamblers lose frequently. I've heard a similar discussion where they said the developers can cause bigger betting sizes to lose more, but I can't tell if it's true.
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 03, 2023, 12:48:27 AM
Its going to be a while until we have another high tier dota2 tournaments and I totally would love to switch to LOL for a while because Worlds is currently ongoing. The only downside with this is that, Im not sure why the hell they only play 1 match per day which is sucks. Imagine having to wait the next day for another match after the current match finished
That's how they usually schedule their matches to squeeze the best viewership possible and one of these teams will get swept or lose one-sidedly anyway.  Lips sealed

Later, I have Gen G beating BLG by 3-1 or 3-0 since BLG didn't look that solid against T1 and their concerning form might continue heading into this series. BLG can still show up to make this series more competitive than expected, but I still think Gen G will close it within four maps.

955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you an educated Sports Bettor? Please give me your opinion here. on: November 02, 2023, 10:45:58 PM
Was any reason given while your games were canceled? Were you sent any Gmail? Because from the look of things and the outcome of the two games you just shared @ Over 2.5, it clearly shows that you won the two games, and ought to have been paid your due winning amount, instead of voiding the game.

But however, I think the Stake casino representative here on this forum should have a better answer to why your game was void after it was successfully submitted.
I'm guessing it's due to the paused/postponed esports rule because the match wasn't completed, and it was interrupted or stopped around 70' based on the YouTube VOD that OP linked.

I also think OP should've won that because, in other sportsbooks, they'll settle those total bets while the game is still live. Maybe their postponed rule has a higher priority over everything else and it's why his ticket got pushed in the end.
956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: November 02, 2023, 10:11:52 PM
Lions won easily versus the Raiders last night as expected.
That Raiders game was tight at the start because the Lions couldn't get anything but FGs until the near end of the half after the Raiders got the first TD.

The match for today seems like a battle of the defense as the Steelers are one of the teams that shines more through their defense and the bookies expect it as well due to the low totals(36.5). The Titans still have the potential to take this game away from the Steelers, but everything points to the home team winning when I think they are doing slightly better in offense and defense than the Titans. The Steelers also have impressive wins against teams that I think they shouldn't be winning against and it's why i'll be backing them today to cover at least three points.

957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use multiple platforms for betting? on: November 02, 2023, 04:00:08 PM
What are your thoughts on this? When you bet with crypto do you find it easier or harder to fund multiple accounts? Because I am getting a sense that crypto bettors are more compelled to shop around a lot more, but only until they find a bookmakers that fits their needs, and then they will hardly move any funds to other platforms. Surely thete must be some reasons behind this or even some very different takes. What are your thoughts?
It depends on the situation because there are times that i'll be using altcoins and the withdrawal fee doesn't cost much so you can quickly withdraw your balance within a minute to make the switch. If i'm using BTC to place bets, then i'll most likely stick with the sportsbook because switching from one to another would cause me to lose more when the fees are significantly higher than altcoin fees. The difference in odds isn't always significant, but I recommend shopping for the best odds until it becomes a habit because it'll help later once you have a bigger bankroll.

Besiktas vs Gazianterp?

I want United to win but just in case the unexpected happen again  Roll Eyes
Yes, that was the MOTD the other day, and congrats on the win. I almost went for the BTTS on that match, but I still lost the other bet.  Tongue

Today's MOTD is for the Euroleague, and it's best to pass up on this because Fenerbahce can always have a bad start, and the homecourt advantage might not matter as much when looking back at the previous Euroleague MOTD.

959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Promotions Poll on: November 02, 2023, 01:44:32 AM
I picked the "others" in the poll because I prefer a promotion or reward system similar to what Stake offers with their VIP and ryzaadit mentioned the type of rewards you could obtain from their VIP. You'll even see other casinos offer a similar way of rewarding their players because that's how effective their system has become. If that doesn't fall under the others, my next choice would be tournaments and contests. I sometimes find betting competitions enjoyable as long as they're not mainly about wagering but more about hitting a specific objective.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner needs your advices in gambling. on: November 01, 2023, 10:13:24 PM
Do you think Me starting gambling would effect me in my real life or make me addicted to gambling. What’s you suggestion and advices.
Without knowing all the details on your side, we can only speculate, and i'd say gambling is more likely going to make you addicted before you become lucky enough to win big and affect your life significantly.

Starting with a low budget is great, but you need to remove those high expectations in gambling because most of the time, you have to go through so many losses and you have to prepare against those scenarios when they are usually the trigger point for an addiction.
