941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: July 30, 2017, 04:28:23 AM
The reason is that the potential rise in bitcoin prices to rise is huge, so some people opt for long-term investments with bitcoin.
You can see bitcoin graphics year after year, you will understand why
Yes, that’s the main reason people are holding onto bitcoins. Everyone in the crypto world knows that bitcoins have the potential to touch sky in the coming years. Even after the Segwit, values are going to increase drastically. People are keeping coins in their wallets simply to enjoy a ride to moon.

943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: June 10, 2017, 07:19:24 PM
Trading with btc - eth, I buy too high ( 0,082 ) and today I sell all on 0,077. Before that trade btc - ripple ( xrp ), make mistake buy 0,0002150 so today I sell with price 0,0001200. I decide to sell all because my patience is finish. I have loss almost 40% from my money, my question is simple ................. stop or continue?

I think you are buying too high because you don't want to miss out on the action. This is panic buying. Then the price drops and you realize you may have made a mistake so you panic sell for a loss.

You don't need to quit trading. You just have to discipline yourself to buy on dips or price corrections and try to always sell for profit. Just start over and count those losses as lessons learned.
Panic buying ? A new thing I just come to know. When do not want to miss out opportunities we may go for buying earlier even at higher prices that may the situation OP now facing, but I could not find is it right to call this situation as panic buying. We may put this aside, when considering the OP situations, I too will suggest to buy now itself.

Because bitcoin prices are believed to be moving toward $10k price levels. If that speculations are right then hurrying yo buy now itself must be a right option.
Yeah, the terminology of the panic buying is quite new for me as well, as we heard panic selling before and also know and understand the concept of panic selling.

The panic buying may be sort of buying for which you are anxious and can’t wait anymore but want to just go through it in any case or at any price. So, if it is about the Bitcoin then you are right, the prices are going to hit the sky in the future, so better to invest.
944  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's Next Direction 2017 Predictions on: May 14, 2017, 09:05:07 PM
We are extremely close to hitting my 2017 target! Not sure what I'm going to do next, this needs a lot of research. Definitely taking profit on the majority of positions soon since it's at 300% at this point.

I bet the current news about Bitcoin and hype of Japanese news and the upcoming Australia adoption definitely messed up your data  Grin.  Now you need to reorganize it and analyze it according to what happened during the Japanese Bitcoin rally.

As of the price, I guess there is a good chance of $2500 Bitcoin at the end of the year.
With respect to how strongly bitcoin prices are staying right now and how aggressively it has reached $1850+ levels, I do believe $2000 levels will be possible in next week itself. If that will be happening then the target by end of 2017 would be $5000 levels or even $10k levels too will be possible subject to how many positive new we are going to have.
945  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: May 14, 2017, 08:44:25 PM
I believe it is the moment of buying.  Australia will be accepting bitcoin as money this July if I am not mistaken.  I believe it will produce the same boost to bitcoin economy and price. So buying now will give us profit since there is a huge chance of bitcoin increasing in price once this time come.
Yes, I am not having any confusion about what I need to do with my bitcoins. I am already doing maximizing my bitcoins from my trading profits and holding is the exact thing I am doing right now because I believe selling at current prices may make regretting any bitcoiner. Holding and then adding few more bitcoins if possible would be the right action and highly recommended.
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing? on: May 14, 2017, 07:49:20 PM
Bancor will become the next big thing in my mind. They ve already launched the main net and already try to run their testing product on the main net. It's really promising to be the next big thing in the future.
Don't miss your chance with bancor.  Wink
Yes no doubt about that, I think they are still working on their service, although they have launched their service on their main network but still they are going to  bring something new that can be really new for the people.  Hope that we are expecting some thing great from bancor.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 14, 2017, 07:16:47 PM

I see, unfortunately it seems the latest MAC wallet has not yet been compiled.

As the XtraBYtes Community grows, we will have more people joining us who can compile all the different wallets. For now, we only have 1 person doing the MAC wallets.
Yes, this community is really growing fast and so is the trading volume.
XBY volume is 40+ BTC and buy Support is 24+ BTC. I think it real time to buy XBY if you want some serious profit.
The price of XBY may cross 1000 in few days and then it will excel further.
948  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: May 14, 2017, 02:44:39 PM
Paper currency will last and it cannot be destroyed. But due to the progress in digital currencies, use of paper currency will get reduced to a large extent.  Cool
What is your basis to say that it will be reduce? bitcoin users is not that big that will affect the circulation of paper money,
the future could be digital but paper money circulation is still bigger compared to digital currencies including crypto currencies.
Yes exactly. The BTC have limited users and even in the next decade it can’t be stated that due to the use of the BTC the paper money will get affected and the circulation of paper money will be reduced. It will surely reduce but not to that extent that it can be very visible. There are many people who prefer the cash and term it as the real currency.
949  Economy / Speculation / Re: What/who make the price of bitcoin on: May 14, 2017, 06:21:13 AM
Hello everybody, I am new to the bitcoin and bitcointalk forum. I just wonder what/who make the price of bitcoin, and what does it depend on?
People who uses bitcoin around the wolrd why the bitcoin price becoming more useful and more expensive nowadays as you can see the bitcoin price rapidly and guaranteed the profit of holders of demand the demand of coins are become increase and increase till it hit to total price of coins into $1700 per bitcoin.
It is so simple, because the demand of the bitcoin is increasing therefore; the prices of the Bitcoin are increasing. The world is now getting aware of the truth that the BTC is the need of new world technology and the benefits it carries nothing else have it. So the people and the countries are now getting towards it to adopt.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OGC][ICO]Onegram.org - ONEGRAM Sharia Compliant Gold Backed Cryptocurrency on: May 13, 2017, 03:32:52 PM
the financial aspect of islam is very interesting, its sad that its only been mentioned with crimes, terror and female enslavement.

about the project i have no idea , is there an escrow? the buy back gold idea with fees is very interesting

escrow and buy back ect.... surly should be present but if they are or not is still to be told. and before that should come the proof that they actually bought gold as they said they did but refused to provide info as requested "several times"  and they simply prefer to ignore the questions that are uncomfortable!
 for first thing is =
how do they intend to maintain the price level with the commodity of GOLD?
the strategies possible to maintain based on gold are very few and none of them are good for open market functions!
example=  this coin gets listed on bittrex or poloniex or any other well known exchange... the market will dictate the value and cost of this coin and not simple words cam maintain it equal to gold! the laws of supply and demand are harsh!
or
they would have to maintain a CLOSED SOURCE wallet and a Dedicated exchange "proprietary" but to assure value and price to be maintained equal to the gold they would need to have the equal amount of gold already in house and certified for each coin  1 million coins ="1 million grams of gold" that is the only way they can use the gold standard!
so if they already have the gold in house why are they so reluctant to prove it?
if theyt already have the gold in house why would they think of putting this in an ICO  for pennies?
if they have such huge investors  then why would they offer this to the public?
they say it is Sharia Compliant but none of  The Advisory Board of the Dubai Center for Islamic Banking and Finance (DCIBF) Center. has ever heard of them?

this is obviously a scam!
I think it is not so easy to discuss and clarify everything here.  It a huge project and there must be so many other issues which the one alone do not have permission to discuss here according to the rules and policy of the project. The developer and the all the team may have some mechanism for that to handle the issue of balancing the price with the exchange which the op do want to publish it.
951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: May 12, 2017, 04:22:09 PM
I do often sell bitcoins at the moment i see the price is predictable to go higher.
I use new version of Xapo app. It is a hongkong based wallet and has earlier prediction than all others.
I do believe its price prediction.
This is cool. Following the expert’s opinion gives a great help in managing your business and profit all together. Also it is a good thinking to hold your bitcoin for the moment because the prices are definitely going up. I am holding all my BTC and am trying to buy some more for my future benefit. I feel myself lucky enough to have the BTC.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: May 11, 2017, 09:28:15 AM
Because bitcoin is much more cost-effective in usage, it can be an investment choice. Bitcoin can be used almost in all countries of the world,

That's why people should use it because it has a lot of use. If you are a gambler and you want to stay anonymous, you can use bitcoin.

If you are an investor then you can just do trading of alt coins and earn bitcoin or you can just simply buy bitcoin and hold it for better.

And if you are a shoppaholic person, you can also use bitcoin for shopping online, there are merchants that are accepting it right now.
Yes the best thing is that you can shop online with the bitcoin also the one of the main reason that people prefer to use bitcoin instead of any other currency is that it can be converted to any local currency anytime without paying extra charges on it. You can also make online money transfer with it in very cheap prices and there are many more things to do with it.

digital money more safer than paper money... future is digital concept

both of them is safe, its depending about your privacy, and how you safe it.
if you safe your bitcoin at online wallet then somone hack your account, you will lost too Roll Eyes
Yes agree that paper money is the most common form of money used in the world and it will be common for some more time. The digital money is insecure as compare to it but after taking the interest of the government it will not be that much insecure, the reason on the digital currency hacking and stuff is due to the lack of interest of the government.
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING & TRADING on: May 02, 2017, 08:38:54 PM
If you're already familiar with trading then choose trading you can take that as your advantage to trade with your bitcoin / money but when you know more about gambling where you can earn fast money there then choose gambling you can earn there up to 2x earning than in trading.
Of course, if we are a professional Trader it's can make us to get high profit, even up to
2x - 3x if the pump is coming. We can take some profit by skills, mastering the fundamental analysis
and technical analysis. In gambling we haven't a skill to get profit, because it's just for a lucky factor.

We still need some skills in gambling, but it can't be applied on the every game on Online Casinos like DICE gambling site, because it is completely random rolls that they are making, you skills is not that needed, unlike in the poker, you are going to need your skills on this because it requires knowledge and techniques on how you are going to win.

While in Trading, yeah there are also some risk, but skills are the most important thing here, you must know when is the right time for you to sell your Altcoins because if not, then you are going to lose your profits that you could make in the long run.
Due to the lack of the skills in the gambling I prefer trading. I guess trading is a easier job than playing poker etc. Those who have a better understanding of the market and know when to buy and sell the coins shall prefer trading than to try their luck in the gambling and continuously losing the games.
956  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: March 27, 2017, 08:56:32 AM
Bitcoin ins gaining back its momentum after a fall from 1200 to around 900. Now its going back to 1000$ mark and should be soon be above 1000$ for some time to get stabilized and a good news here will make it to above 1100$
Bitcoin investors are still keeping their faith on bitcoin ecosystem that is the reason we can see quick bounce back of bitcoin prices after steep fall in last week. I believe the scalability issue of bitcoin will get resolved in very quick time itself so that we could see bitcoin prices testing $2000 levels.

As long as we are having long term holders of bitcoins, we never need to worry about any issues of bitcoin and the price is also will be trading at decent levels itself due to them.
957  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: March 27, 2017, 08:36:21 AM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?
It can be possibly become a currency in the future if bitcoin has stable price or settle everything. But you can hold of some altcoin in the future and become rich too if you buy a huge amount of it during the price was cheap.
when fluctuations continue to occur does not mean bitcoin currency can not be the future? fluctuations actually makes a lot of people interested in joining using bitcoin?
Fluctuations are just part of any commodity and we cannot ignore other potential and advantages of bitcoin just because of its unstable price levels.

Along with this volatile prices, bitcoin is going to have unimaginable prices in near future so that it will get attraction of each and every country's people. That is the reason we do call crypto is the future. We should make use of it in its way and do not bother about non-realistic facts.
958  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 14, 2017, 01:38:25 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

Price appreciation and the comfort of having the same amount of Bitcoins in the long run.

Some would be scared that they are not smarter than the market and would lose coins, others see it as a long term mechanism to accumulate wealth they can afford to leave alone.
Aka spend cash instead either way the reward is large enough for them to do it based on the price but at some point they will take the coins out and make actualized profit on their investment.
Many people don’t have the option of saving for a long time, they want to get the money quick and easy that is why they go for gambling and investing, bitcoin saving requires a lot of patience and not everyone can do so, but if you have the time you can leave the bitcoin for a long time and you will end up with a good profit in a year or two.
959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it still worth it to trade? on: February 18, 2017, 04:18:40 AM
You don't necessarily have to spend a lot of time trading and even if you make a small profit, that Bitcoin could be worth a lot more later.
Small profits but for future bitcoin prices ? I guess many traders are into bitcoin with that kind of motivation alone. They will save all their profits hence they are just using trading as a way to collect bitcoins instead of faucets.

I am sure many people are still using bitcoin faucets by considering future bitcoin prices. When bitcoin will be worth, trading it for small profits also will be worthier.
